| 1 | Heterostructure design of Fe^(3)N alloy/porous carbon nanosheet composites for efficient microwave attenuation显示文摘The self-dissipation and attenuation capacity of materials play an important role in realizing efficient electromagnetic absorption,in this case, the roles of macroscopic composition and micro-structure should be emphasized simultaneously in the reasonable design of microwave absorbent.Given that,Fe_(3)N alloy embedded in two-dimensional porous carbon composites were fabricated via facile sol-gel and sacrificial template methods.Satisfactorily, the magnetic/dielectric materials combination and porous structure introduction are conductive to the optimization of impedance matching property,as result of the enhancement of microwave absorption capacity. In addition, sufficient magnetic loss capacity, strong conductivity as well as polarization attenuation bring about the outstanding microwave absorbing performance with an effective absorption bandwidth of 6.76 GHz and a minimum reflection loss value of-65.6 d B.It is believed that this work not only lay a foundation to achieve microwave response materials in a wide frequency range, but also emphasize the significant role of the component selection and structural design. | Weihua Gu Xiaoqing Cui Jing Zheng Jiwen Yu Yue Zhao Guangbin Ji | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,8: | 3 |
| 2 | Initiating, growing and cracking of hydrogen blisters显示文摘The growing process of a hydrogen blister in a wheel steel was observed in situ with an optical microscope, and the fracture surfaces formed from broken blisters on a wheel steel and bulk metallic glass were investigated. The initiating, growing, cracking and breaking of hydrogen blis-ters are as follows. Supersaturated vacancies can increase greatly during charging and gather together into a vacancy cluster (small cavity). Hydrogen atoms become hydrogen molecules in the vacancy cluster and hydrogen molecules can stabilize the vacancy cluster. The small cavity becomes the nucleus of hydrogen blister. The blister will grow with enter-ing of vacancies and hydrogen atoms. With increasing hy-drogen pressure, plastic deformation occurs first, the hydro-gen blister near the surface extrudes, and then cracks initiate along the wall of the blister with further increasing hydrogen pressure. A cracked blister can grow further through propa-gating of cracks until it breaks. | REN Xuechong SHAN Guangbin CHU Wuyang SU Yanjing GAO Kewei QIAO Lijie JIANG Bo CHEN Gang CUI Yinhui | 2005 | Chinese Science Bulletin2005,50,17: | 2 |

| 6 | Bariatric surgery induces alterations in effective connectivity between the orbitofrontal cortex and limbic regions in obese patients显示文摘Obese subjects show enhanced brain responses in motivation and reward neurocircuitry encompassing sensory and somatic integration-interception,motivation-reward(striatal),emotion,and memory processes, which attenuate frontal region activation during food cues.Bariatric surgery(BS) is the only reliable treatment for morbid obesity.Unfortunately,it is unknown how BS affects neurocircuitry after weight loss.We aimed to examine effects of BS on the basal activity of brain areas involved in reward and motivation processing, emotion, memory, and gut-brain interaction. We combined resting-state fMRI with amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation(ALFF) and Granger causality analysis(GCA) to assess interactions between regions within the frontal-mesolimbic circuitry in 16 obese subjects(OB) and 22 normal-weight(NW) subjects. The OB group was studied at baseline and 1 month post BS.Comparisons between OB and NW,and preand post BS showed significant differences in ALFF in areas involved in drive(caudate, orbitofrontal cortex(OFC)),arousal(thalamus),and conditioning/memory(amygdala,hippocampus)(P < 0.05,FDR correction).GCA revealed that in the OB group, the OFC had greater connectivity to limbic regions(amygdala, hippocampus, and medial thalamus) and the caudate.Post BS,the connectivity of the OFC to limbic regions decreased, whereas the connectivity from the amygdala and hippocampus to the caudate and thalamus was enhanced, particularly in subjects with lower body mass index(BMI).OFC activation in the OB group was associated with BMI prior to surgery, and changes in OFC post surgery were associated with alterations in BMI.Overall, the functional connectivity of the OFC was significantly decreased. As it is important for salience attribution and connected to limbic brain regions involved with emotional reactivity and conditioning after BS,its significant association with BMI changes indicates the contribution of OFC changes to the improved control of eating behavior after surgery. | Shijun DUAN Gang JI Guanya LI Yang HU Wenchao ZHANG Jia WANG Dardo TOMASI Nora DVOLKOW Yongzhan NIE Guangbin CUI Gene-Jack WANG Yi ZHANG | 2020 | Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,7: | 0 |
| 7 | A hybrid network integrating convolution and transformer for thymoma segmentation显示文摘Background Manual segmentation of thymoma is an onerous,labor-intensive,and subjective task for radiologists.Accordingly, the development of an automatic and efficient method for thymoma segmentation can be valuable for the early detection and diagnosis of this malignancy. Methods Three hundred and ten subjects were enrolled in this retrospective study and all underwent CECT scans. All the scans were manually labeled by four experienced radiologists. The successful application of convolution neural networks(CNNs)and Transformer in computer vision led us to propose a hybrid CNN–Transformer architecture, named transformer attention Net(TA-Net),that would allow the utilization of both local information from CNN features and the global information encoded by Transformers.U-Net was used as the basic structure and Transformers were inserted into convolution blocks in the encoder. In addition, attention gates were embedded in skip connections to highlight salient features.Comparison of the accuracy, intersection over Union(IoU),Dice score, and Boundary F1 contour matching score(BFScore)between the predicted segmentation and the manual labels were utilized to evaluate segmentation performance. Results For thymoma segmentation using TA-Net,the accuracy,Dice score,IoU,and BFScore were 92.49%,89.92%,83.80%,and 0.8945,respectively,and no significant differences were detected among tumor types and enhanced phases. Our proposed method achieved the best performance when compared with state-of-the-art methods. Conclusion The proposed method, which combines CNNs with Transformer, achives outstanding performance in thymoma segmentation compared with previous methods.TA-Net may provide consistent and reproducible delineation, thereby assisting radiologists in clinical applications. | Jingyuan Li Wenfang Sun Xiulong Feng Karen Mvon Deneen Wen Wang Guangbin Cui Yi Zhang | 2023 | Intelligent Medicine2023,3,3: | 0 |
