1Field measurement and analysis of turbulence coherence for Typhoon Nuri at Macao Friendship Bridge显示文摘For the purpose of investigating the turbulent and spatial coherent characteristics of strong wind during typhoon landing period,two 3-dimensional ultrasonic anemometer stations were set up 30 m horizontally apart on the Macao Friendship Bridge to caputure the turbulent wind velocities of Typhoon Nuri. Based on the reliable and representative field measured data,the mean wind speed and direction,turbulence intensity,turbulence integral scale,turbulence power spectra,spatial correlation coefficient and coherence function were statistically evaluated. The field measurement analysis have presented the following results: 1) Two anemometer stations provided consistent results. The mean wind speed variation in time domain presented typical M-shape curves. The strong wind (10-minute mean wind speed higher than 8th grade in Beaufort wind scale) direction changed in a big range up to 122-degrees-angle,indicating the field measurements scoped over the typhoon landing period. 2) The ratio of the longitudinal,lateral and vertical turbulence intensities of the strong wind in the typhoon eye wall region was 1:0.96:0.36. Compared with the code defined ratio 1:0.88:0.5,the lateral component was larger and the vertical component was smaller. 3) The value of integral scale increased when the eye wall of Typhoon Nuri passed over the field measurement site. Before the center of Typhoon Nuri arrived,the integral scale of the strong typhoon wind was about twice compared with that for the non-typhoon wind. 4) The spatial correlation of the turbulent wind,coherence function curve and the decay factor had significant differences at different times during the typhoon process. In the eye wall of the typhoon,the horizontal spatial correlation was relatively strong and horizontally spatial correlation spectrum decayed slower with frequency increase. The minimum regressed coefficient C in coherence function model was 4.67,which is lower than the code defined low limit. The maximum decay factor was 27.75 which is larger than the code defined upper bound. 2Gastrin,somatostatin,G and D cells of gastric ulcer in rats显示文摘AIM: To investigate the relationship among gastrin,somatostatin, G and D calls in gastric ulcer and in its healing process in rats.METHODS: Fourty-nine Wistar rats were divided into 7groups. The gastric ulcer model was induced by acetic acid successfully. The gastrin and the somatostatin in rat plasma, gastric fluid and antral tissue were measured by radioimmunoassay(RIA). 10Simultaneous Determination of Multiple Bioactive Constituents in Total Alkaloid of Sophora alopecuroides by HPLC-DAD显示文摘Objective To develop a qualitative and quantitative simultaneous determination of multiple bioactive constituents in total alkaloid in Sophora alopecuroides(TASA).Methods In the experiment,a new and simple HPLC-DAD method for the simultaneous determination of multiple constituents in TASA was developed.The separation was performed on a Kromasil C18 column(250 mm×4.6 mm,5.0μm)eluted with 0.02 mol/L potassium dihydrogen phosphate(adjusted pH 4.3 using 1%glacial acetic acid)and acetonitrile(75:25)at a flow-rate of 0.7 mL/min.The detection wavelength was set at 210 nm.Results Five constituents(sophoridine,matrine,oxymatrine,aloperine,and lehmannine)were simultaneously analyzed in this study.Four of them were identified and determinated by the developed method.The calibration curves exhibited linear regressions(r 2 >0.9995).The injection precision,the intra-day precision,and the analysis repeatability were validated with the RSD values less than 5.0%.The mean recoveries of the four constituents were ranged from 98.62%to 100.20%,and the RSD values were all less than 3.37%.Conclusion This method is convenient,fast,accurate,and is applicable to analyze the multi-constituents in TASA.ZHAO Wen-chang,SONG Li-jun School of Pharmacy,Guangdong Medical College,Dongguan 523808,China 2011Chinese Herbal Medicines2011,3,1:3

12G and D cells in rat antral mucosa: An immunoelectron microscopic study显示文摘AIM: To investigate the gastrin secreting cells (G cells) and the somatostatin secreting cells (D cells) of antral mucosa in rats at the ultrastructural level.METHODS: Revised immunoelectron microscopic technique was used to detect the G cells and D cells in rat antral mucosa through gastrin and somatostatin antibodies labeled by colloidal gold. Also the relevant quantitative analysis regarding the granular number of colloidal gold in G cells and in D cells was conducted.RESULTS: Immunological granules of colloidal gold were distributed in G cells and D cells. Gastrin labeled golden granules or somatostatin labeled ones presented mainly as lobation-like or island-like congeries. Most of the golden congeries were observed dissociated in cytoplasms of G cells or D cells, near the basement membrane. A few golden congeries were located in nuclei. The number of golden granules in one G cell was around 107.04±19.68 and was 83.36±17.58 in one D cell.CONCLUSION: Gastrin secreting granules are located in cytoplasms and nuclei of G cells, and somatostatin secreting granules both in cytoplasms and in nuclei of D cells. 13Glucose supplementation improves intestinal amino acid transport and muscle amino acid pool in pigs during chronic cold exposure显示文摘Mammals in northern regions chronically suffer from low temperatures during autumn-winter seasons.The aim of this study was to investigate the response of intestinal amino acid transport and the amino acid pool in muscle to chronic cold exposure via Min pig models(cold adaptation)and Yorkshire pig models(non-cold adaptation).Furthermore,this study explored the beneficial effects of glucose supplementation on small intestinal amino acid transport and amino acid pool in muscle of cold-exposed Yorkshire pigs.Min pigs(Exp.1)and Yorkshire pigs(Exp.2)were divided into a control group(17℃,n=6)and chronic cold exposure group(7℃,n=6),respectively.Twelve Yorkshire pigs(Exp.3)were divided into a cold control group and cold glucose supplementation group(8℃).The results showed that chronic cold exposure inhibited peptide transporter protein 1(PepT1)and excitatory amino acid transporter 3(EAAT3)expression in ileal mucosa and cationic amino acid transporter-1(CAT-1)in the jejunal mucosa of Yorkshire pigs(P<0.05).In contrast,CAT-1,PepT1 and EAAT3 expression was enhanced in the duodenal mucosa of Min pigs(P<0.05).Branched amino acids(BCAA)in the muscle of Yorkshire pigs were consumed by chronic cold exposure,accompanied by increased muscle RING-finger protein-1(MuRF1)and muscle atrophy F-box(atrogin-1)expression(P<0.05).More importantly,reduced concentrations of dystrophin were detected in the muscle of Yorkshire pigs(P<0.05).However,glycine concentration in the muscle of Min pigs was raised(P<0.05).In the absence of interaction between chronic cold exposure and glucose supplementation,glucose supplementation improved CAT-1 expression in the jejunal mucosa and PepT1 expression in the ileal mucosa of cold-exposed Yorkshire pigs(P<0.05).It also improved BCAA and inhibited MuRF1 and atrogin-1 expression in muscle(P<0.05).Moreover,dystrophin concentration was improved by glucose supplementation(P<0.05).In summary,chronic cold exposure inhibits amino acid absorption in the small intestine,depletes BCAA and promotes protein degradation in muscle.Glucose supplementation ameliorates the negative effects of chronic cold exposure on amino acid transport and the amino acid pool in muscle.Teng Teng Xin Song Guodong Sun Hongwei Ding Haoyang Sun Guangdong Bai Baoming Shi 2023Animal Nutrition2023,,1:1

15Theoretical Analysis of Annular Elliptic Finned Tube Evaporative Condenser Based on Field Measurement显示文摘In this article,a new evaporative condenser with an annular elliptic firmed tube heat exchanger that includes a round inner tube and elliptic outer finned tube was designed and analyzed.The refrigerant flows between the round inner tube and the elliptic outer tube,and it simultaneously exchanges heat with the cooling water in the inner tube,the spray water,and the cooling air flowing past the outer tube.Using field measurement for the traditional round finned tube evaporative condenser in the Futong Metro Station of Line 14 in Beijing,China,the theoretical heat transfer performance of the annular elliptic finned tube evaporative condenser was analyzed and simulated.Compared with a round finned tube heat exchanger,the heat exchange capacity of the annular elliptic finned tube increased by 2.34%to 9.28%;the total heat transfer coefficient increased by 47.42%,and the power consumption of the fan in the air-conditioning system with an annular elliptic finned tube heat exchanger decreased by 11.18%to 14.65%.Therefore,the energy-saving performance and the heat transfer performance of the new annular elliptic finned tube heat exchanger were enhanced compared to the round finned tube heat exchanger.GU Yaxiu WANG Junwei WANG Xinru Ll Mohua PAN Song LIU Guangdong WANG Wentao GING Zexiang 2020Journal of Thermal Science2020,29,5:1
16Fault Analysis and Innovation in Slag Discharge System of 440-t/h CFB Boiler显示文摘CFB boilers have been widely used in China in recent years with their perfect performances in coal adaptability, load variation capability and lower pollutant emission. The No.3 135-MW CFB unit in Lianzhou Power Plant is the f irst 440-t/h series CFB unit in Guangdong Province. It f inished 72-hour trial operation in Feb. 2004 and was transferred to trial operation. During the trial operation and the next commercial operation, there were some problems happened in the boiler slag discharging system, seriously affecting the safe and reliable operation and the loading capability. After innovation, these problems have been completely solved. 17Two monitoring methods of oral anticoagulation in patients with mechanical heart valve prostheses:a Meta-analysis显示文摘Background Oral anticoagulation with warfarin has become the standard antithrombotic therapy for the patients with mechanical heart valve prothesis.The monitoring method of self-monitoring or self-management is promising to optimize the use of warfarin,but most of the previous studies have included patients with various indications of oral anticoagulant therapy other than valve procedure.This study is intended to evaluate the effects of new monitoring method compared with traditional monitoring in patients with mechanical heart valve prostheses.Methods Relevant literature finished before Dec.2010 were searched through a number of digital database.And then they are pooled by RevMan 4.2 in three fields:rate within the target range,test frequency and occurrence rate of poor events.Results Five randomised control trials with a total of 1662 patients were identified.Pooled estimates showed significant reductions in thromboembolic events(odds ratio 0.55,95%CI 0.35~0.85) and major haemorrhage(0.80,0.54~1.18).Trials of combined self-monitoring and self-adjusted therapy showed significant reductions in thromboembolic events(0.56,0.32~0.98),but not major haemorrhage(1.05,0.60~1.83).No difference was noted in minor haemorrhage and all-cause mortality.All trials reported improvements in the mean proportion of international normalisation ratios in range.Conclusions Self-monitoring can improve the quality of oral anticoagulation therapy in the patients with mechanical.Patients capable of self-monitoring and self-adjusting therapy have fewer thromboembolic events than those who self-monitor alone.However,self-monitoring is not feasible for all patients,and requires identification and education of suitable candidates heart valve prostheses.XU Zhe,ZHANG Xi,WANG Zhiping,WU Zhongkai,OU Jingsong,YA NG Song (Division of Cardiac Surgery,The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun-Yat-Sen University,Guangzhou,Guangdong 510100, China) 2011岭南心血管病杂志2011,17,S1:0
18A bio-inspired spider-like structure isolator for low-frequency vibration显示文摘This paper proposes a quasi-zero stiffness(QZS)isolator composed of a curved beam(as spider foot)and a linear spring(as spider muscle)inspired by the precise capturing ability of spiders in vibrating environments.The curved beam is simplified as an inclined horizontal spring,and a static analysis is carried out to explore the effects of different structural parameters on the stiffness performance of the QZS isolator.The finite element simulation analysis verifies that the QZS isolator can significantly reduce the first-order natural frequency under the load in the QZS region.The harmonic balance method(HBM)is used to explore the effects of the excitation amplitude,damping ratio,and stiffness coefficient on the system’s amplitude-frequency response and transmissibility performance,and the accuracy of the analytical results is verified by the fourth-order Runge-Kutta integral method(RK-4).The experimental data of the QZS isolator prototype are fitted to a ninth-degree polynomial,and the RK-4 can theoretically predict the experimental results.The experimental results show that the QZS isolator has a lower initial isolation frequency and a wider isolation frequency bandwidth than the equivalent linear isolator.The frequency sweep test of prototypes with different harmonic excitation amplitudes shows that the initial isolation frequency of the QZS isolator is 3 Hz,and it can isolate 90%of the excitation signal at 7 Hz.The proposed biomimetic spider-like QZS isolator has high application prospects and can provide a reference for optimizing low-frequency or ultra-low-frequency isolators.Guangdong SUI Shuai HOU Xiaofan ZHANG Xiaobiao SHAN Chengwei HOU Henan SONG Weijie HOU Jianming LI 2023Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2023,44,8:0
