1Effect of Sanhuangwuji powder,anti-rheumatic drugs,and ginger-partitioned acupoint stimulation on the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis with peptic ulcer:a randomized controlled study显示文摘OBjECTIVE:To observe the efficacy and safety of oral Sanhuangwuji powder,anti-rheumatic drugs(ARDs),and ginger-partitioned acupoint stimulation at Zusanli(ST 36) on the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis(RA) complicated by peptic ulcer.METHODS:This prospective randomized controlled study included 180 eligible inpatients and outpatients randomly assigned to an ARD treatment(n = 60),ginger-partitioned stimulation(n =60),or combination treatment(n = 60).Patients assigned to the ARD group were given oral celecoxib,methotrexate,and esomeprazole.Patients assigned to theginger-partitioned stimulation group were given ginger-partitioned acupoint stimulation at Zusanli(ST 36) in addition to the ARDs.Patients in the combination treatment group were given oral Sanhuangwuji powder,ginger-partitioned acupoint stimulation at Zusanli(ST 36),and ARDs.All patients were followed up for 2 months to evaluate clinical effects and safety.The study was registered in the World Health Organization database at the General Hospital of Chengdu Military Area Command Chinese People's Liberation Army(ChiCTR-TCC12002824).RESULTS:The combination treatment group had significantly greater improvements in RA symptoms,laboratory outcomes,and gastrointestinal symptom scores,compared with the other groups(P < 0.05).The peptic ulcer healing rate in the combination treatment group was significantly greater than that in the ARD treatment group(x^2 = 16.875,P < 0.05) and the ginger-partitioned stimulation group(x^2 = 6.171,P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Combination treatment with ginger-partitioned acupoint stimulation at Zusanli(ST36),oral Sanhuangwuji powder,and ARDs had a better clinical effect for RA with complicated peptic ulcer,compared with ARD treatmentalone or in combination with ginger-partitioned acupoint stimulation.Liu Defang Guo Mingyang Hu Yonghe Liu Taihua Yan Jiao Luo Yong Yun Mingdong Yang Min Zhang Jun Guo Linglin 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,3:9

3Effect of methotrexate combined with Sanhuang Yilong decoction on serum and synovial fluid aquaporin levels in rheumatoid arthritis dampness-heat blockage syndrome显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of methotrexate(MTX) combined with Sanhuang Yilong decoction(SYD) on aquaporin(AQP) expression,and to explore the role of AQPs in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis(RA).METHODS:A total of 118 dampness-heat blockage type RA patients who were hospitalized in the General Chengdu Military Hospital between January2014 and December 2016 were selected as subjects in this study(30 patient of these patients with knee joint effusion were assigned to the RA synovial fluid group).For the pre-treatment controlgroups,30 healthy volunteers were recruited as the healthy control group and 30 osteoarthritis(OA) patients with knee joint effusion were included as OA synovial fluid control group.The RA dampnessheat blockage syndrome treatment groups were divided into 45 cases in the combined group and 45 cases in the MTX group.The combined group received MTX combined with SYD treatment while the MTX group received MTX alone.AQP1,AQP2 and AQP3 expressions were detected in the serum and synovial fluid.RESULTS:AQP1 had the highest expression,followed by AQP3,and AQP2.The serum levels of AQP1,AQP2 and AQP3 were all significantly lower than those in the healthy volunteers(P < 0.05),while the synovial fluid AQP1,AQP2 and AQP3 expression in the RA group were comparable to these in the OA groups(P > 0.05).After treatment for2 weeks,serum AQP1,AQP2,AQP3 were significantly increased and erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein,disease activity score of 28 joints were decreased in the combined group(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION:Abnormal expression of AQPs inhibits water metabolism in RA dampness-heat blockage syndrome,so liquid is accumulated at the joint,which may play an important role in the pathogenesis of RA.MTX combined with SYD for the treatment of RA can effectively increase AQP expression.Liu Defang Yan Jiao Guo Mingyang Luo Yong Yang Mei Yang Min Zou Longfu Li Wan Zhong Xiaolong Liu Tao Hu Yonghe 2018Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2018,38,4:4
4A model to assess fundamental and realized carrying capacities of island ecosystem:A case study in the southern Miaodao Archipelago of China显示文摘Research on carrying capacity, aiming at maintaining the limited ability of the Earth's life supporting system to sustain human development, requires a comprehensive and ecosystem-based approach to monitor and assess the localized sustainability of coupled social and ecological systems. A definition termed the ecosystem-based carrying capacity of island(EBCCI) was developed in this paper of which the indices of fundamental and realized carrying capacities of island(FCCI and RCCI) were highlighted to emphasize the inter-dependencies between social systems and ecological systems. In order to avoid the difficulties and uncertainties of direct assessment, the related assessment model was established on the basis of synthetic evaluation of inherent and external factors affecting the EBCCI. The southern Miaodao Archipelago(SMA) located in the intersection of the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea, China, was taken as a typical example to acquire integrated recognition of the island ecosystem and its carrying capacity so as to discuss its sustainable development. The index scores of FCCI and RCCI in the SMA were 0.818 5 and 0.712 9 out of 1.0, respectively, with acceptable uncertainties. The results showed a relatively well capacity to sustain progress and relatively well realization of the carrying capacity of island ecosystem, owing to a well capacity of ecologically regulating, general performance of both ecologically supporting and resource provisioning, and a relatively high level of social supporting system. The study implied that it was critical to optimize the inter-dependencies and to sustain the relative balance between social systems and ecological systems so as to improve the RCCI and further facilitate the sustainability of SMA. 5Effect of Sanhuangyilong decoction plus methotrexate on tumor necrosis factor alpha and interferon gamma in serum and synovial fluid in rheumatoid arthritis patients with symptom pattern of damp heat obstruction显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Sanhuangyilong decoction plus methotrexate(MTX) on Interferon gamma(IFN-γ) and tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α) in the serum and synovial fluid of rheumatoid arthritis(RA) patients with damp-heat-obstruction symptom pattern, Sanhuangyilong decoction and the role of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the development of RA.METHODS: RA inpatients with damp-heat-obstruction symptom pattern(partly with knee joint effusion) were selected as the research subjects. Before the treatment, healthy subjects and osteoarthritis(OA) patients with knee joint effusion were assigned to the serum control group and the synovial fluid control group, respectively; during the treatment, RA patients with damp-heat-obstruction symptom pattern were divided into two groups:one is combined group that was administered Sanhuangyilong decoction plus MTX; the other group was MTX group that received MTX only. The expression levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the serum and synovial fluid were measured with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) before and after the treatment, and the peripheral blood levels of erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR), C-reactive protein(CRP) and disease activity score in 28 joints(DAS28)were determined.RESULTS: Before treatment, the serum levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the RA patients with dampheat-obstruction symptom pattern were higher than those in healthy control group(P < 0.05).The expression levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the synovial fluid of the RA patients were higher than those in the serum of the RA patients(P < 0.05). The expression levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the synovial fluid of the RA patients were higher than those of the sy-novial fluid of the osteoarthritis patients(P < 0.05).The expression of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the serum and synovial fluid of the RA patients had no correlation with the inflammatory activity index ESR, CRP,or DAS28(P > 0.05). After 2 weeks of treatment, the expression level of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the combined group had increased, although the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05); in contrast, ESR, CRP, and DAS28 decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01). After 4 weeks of therapy, TNF-alpha and IFN-γ, ESR,CRP, and DAS28 in the combined group decreased compared with the before-treatment levels(P <0.01). After 2 w of treatment, the differences in the TNF-α and IFN-γ expression levels in the combined group were not statistically significant(P > 0.05)compared with that in the MTX group, although there were statistically significant differences in the ESR, CRP, and DAS28(P < 0.05). After 4 weeks of treatment, differences in TNF-α, IFN-γ, ESR, CRP, and DAS28 in the combined group compared with MTX group were statistically significant(P < 0.01).CONCLUSION: TNF-α and IFN-γ might be involved in the development of RA. 6Characteristics of Shale Reservoir and Sweet Spot Identification of the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation in Northwestern Hunan Province, China显示文摘The accumulation and productivity of shale gas are mainly controlled by the characteristics of shale reservoirs;study of these characteristics forms the basis for the shale gas exploitation of the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation(Fm),Southern China.In this study,core observation and lithology study were conducted along with X-ray diffraction(XRD)and electronic scanning microscopy(SEM)examinations and liquid nitrogen(N2)adsorption/desorption and CH4 isothermal adsorption experiments for several exploration wells in northwestern Hunan Province,China.The results show that one or two intervals with high-quality source rocks(TOC>2 wt%)were deposited in the deep-shelf facies.The source rocks,which were mainly composed of carbonaceous shales and siliceous shales,had high quartz contents(>40 wt%)and low clay mineral(<30 wt%,mainly illites)and carbonate mineral(<20 wt%)contents.The SEM observations and liquid nitrogen(N2)adsorption/desorption experiments showed that the shale is tight,and nanoscale pores and microscale fractures are well developed.BJH volume(VBJH)of shale ranged from 2.144×10^-3 to 20.07×10^-3 cm^3/g,with an average of 11.752×10^-3 cm3/g.Pores mainly consisted of opened and interconnected mesopores(2–50 nm in diameter)or macropores(>50 nm in diameter).The shale reservoir has strong adsorption capacity for CH4.The Langmuir volume(VL)varied from 1.63 to 7.39 cm^3/g,with an average of 3.95 cm^3/g.The characteristics of shale reservoir are controlled by several factors:(1)A deep muddy continental shelf is the most favorable environment for the development of shale reservoirs,which is controlled by the development of basic materials.(2)The storage capacity of the shale reservoir is positively related to the TOC contents and plastic minerals and negatively related to cement minerals.(3)High maturity or overmaturity leads to the growth of organic pores and microfractures,thereby improving the reservoir storage capacity.It can be deduced that the high percentage of residual gas in Niutitang Fm results from the strong reservoir storage capacity of adsorbed gas.Two layers of sweet spots with strong storage capacity of free gas,and they are characterized by the relatively high TOC contents ranging from 4 wt%to 8 wt%.QIN Mingyang CAO Zheng GUO Jianhua HUANG Yanran SUN Lianpu DONG Li 2019Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2019,93,3:3
7Spatiotemporal heterogeneity of phytoplankton diversity and its relation to water environmental factors in the southern waters of Miaodao Archipelago,China显示文摘To study the water quality influenced by the anthropogenic activities and its impact on the phytoplankton diversity in the surface waters of Miaodao Archipelago, the spatiotemporal variations in phytoplankton communities and the environmental properties of the surface waters surrounding the Five Southern Islands of Miaodao Archipelago were investigated, based on seasonal field survey conducted from November 2012 to August 2013. During the survey, a total of 109 phytoplankton species from 3 groups were identified in the southern waters of Miaodao Archipelago, of which 77 were diatoms, 29 were dinoflagellates, and 3 were chrysophytes. Species number was higher in winter(73), moderate in autumn(70), but lower in summer(31) and spring(27). The species richness index in autumn(5.92) and winter(4.28) was higher than that in summer(2.83) and spring(1.41).The Shannon-Wiener diversity index was high in autumn(2.82), followed by winter(1.99) and summer(1.92), and low in spring(0.07). The species evenness index in autumn(0.46) and summer(0.39) was higher than that in winter(0.32) and spring(0.02). On the basis of principal component analysis(PCA) and redundancy analysis(RDA), we found that dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN) and chemical oxygen demand(COD) in spring, COD in summer, p H in autumn, and salinity and oil pollutant in winter, respectively, showed the strongest association with the distribution of phytoplankton diversity. 8Rational design of palladium single-atoms and clusters supported on silicoaluminophosphate-31 by a photochemical route for chemoselective hydrodeoxygenation of vanillin显示文摘Chemoselective hydrodeoxygenation of vanillin is of great importance in converting biomass into high value-added chemicals.Herein,we describe a facile photochemical route to access palladium single atoms and clusters supported on silicoaluminophosphate-31(SAPO-31)as a highly active,chemoselective,and reusable catalyst for hydrodeoxygenation of vanillin.Characterizations by aberration-corrected high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscopy,extended X-ray absorption fine structure measurement,and CO-absorbed diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy reveal the atomically dispersed palladium single atoms and clusters are loosely bonded and randomly dispersed,without forming strong palladium-palladium metallic bonding,over the SAPO-31 support.This catalyst,with a full metal availability to the reactants,exhibits exceptional catalytic activity(TOF:3,000 h^(−1),Yield:>99%)in the hydrodeoxygenation of vanillin toward 2-methoxy-4-methylphenol(MMP)under mild conditions(1 atm,80°C,30 min),along with excellent stability,scalability(up to 100-fold),and wide substrate scope.The superior catalytic performance can be attributed to the synergistic effect of the positively charged palladium single atoms and fully exposed clusters,as well as the strong metal-support interactions.This work may offer a new avenue for the design and synthesis of fully exposed metal catalysts with targeted functionalities.Xiaowen Lu Chunmu Guo Mingyang Zhang Leipeng Leng J.Hugh Horton Wei Wu Zhijun Li 2021Nano Research2021,14,11:3
9Effect of hand-ear acupuncture on chronic low-back pain: a randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect of hand-ear acupuncture on chronic low-back pain(cLBP).METHODS: This was an open, randomized and controlled trial in The General Hospital of Western Theater Command, Sichuan Province. The trial was registered with ClinicalTrials.gov, NCT02260284. All the 152 participates with cLBP were randomly assigned to hand-ear acupuncture(n = 54), standard acupuncture(n = 50), or usual care groups(n = 48).Eighteen treatments were provided over 7 weeks.Back-related dysfunction and symptom severity were assessed by the Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire(RMDQ) and the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS), which were collected at baseline, 2 months and 6 months post to the treatment.RESULTS: At 6 months, the RMDQ scores improved by 7.74 points of hand-ear acupuncture group. Significant improvement of VAS and RMDQ was observed in hand-ear acupuncture group(P < 0.001),but no significant changes of RMDQ were observed in both standard acupuncture group and usual care group. We also observed an overall efficacy rate of 88.89% in hand-ear acupuncture group, as evaluated by Diagnosis and Curative Effect Standard for Symptom pattern of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which was much higher than 45.84% in the usual care group(H = 16.000, P < 0.001).CONCLUSION: Both of the hand-ear acupuncture and standard acupuncture modes have beneficial and persistent effectiveness against cLBP compared with the usual care. 10Association of assisted reproductive technology, germline de novo mutations and congenital heart defects in a prospective birth cohort study显示文摘Emerging evidence suggests that children conceived through assisted reproductive technology(ART)have a higher risk of congenital heart defects(CHDs)even when there is no family history.De novo mutation(DNM)is a well-known cause of sporadic congenital diseases;however,whether ART procedures increase the number of germline DNM(gDNM)has not yet been well studied.Here,we performed whole-genome sequencing of 1137 individuals from 160 families conceived through ART and 205 families conceived spontaneously.Children conceived via ART carried 4.59 more gDNMs than children conceived spontaneously,including 332 paternal and 1.26 maternal DNMs,after correcting for parental age at conception,cigarette smoking,alcohol drinking,and exercise behaviors.Paternal DNMs in offspring conceived via ART are characterized by C>T substitutions at CpG sites,which potentially affect protein-coding genes and are significantly associated with the increased risk of CHD.In addition,the accumulation of non-coding functional mutations was independently associated with CHD and 87.9% of the mutations were originated from the father.Among ART offspring,infertility of the father was associated with elevated paternal DNMs;usage of both recombinant and urinary follicle-stimulating hormone and high-dosage human chorionic gonadotropin trigger was associated with an increase of maternal DNMs.In sum,the increased gDNMs in offspring conceived by ART were primarily originated from fathers,indicating that ART itself may not be a major reason for the accumulation of gDNMs.Our findings emphasize the importance of evaluating the germline status of the fathers in families with the use of ART.Cheng Wang Hong Lv Xiufeng Ling Hong Li Feiyang Diao Juncheng Dai Jiangbo Du Ting Chen Qi Xi Yang Zhao Kun Zhou Bo Xu Xiumei Han Xiaoyu Liu Meijuan Peng Congcong Chen Shiyao Tao Lei Huang Cong Liu Mingyang Wen Yangqian Jiang Tao Jiang Chuncheng Lu Wei Wu Di Wu Minjian Chen Yuan Lin Xuejiang Guo Ran Huo Jiayin Liu Hongxia Ma Guangfu Jin Yankai Xia Jiahao Sha Hongbing Shen Zhibin Hu 2021Cell Research2021,31,8:2
11CRISPR/Cas9-mediated targeted mutation reveals a role for AN4 rather than DPL in regulating venation formation in the corolla tube of Petunia hybrida显示文摘Venation is a common anthocyanin pattern displayed in flowers that confers important ornamental traits to plants.An anthocyanin-related R2R3-MYB transcription factor,DPL,has been proposed to regulate corolla tube venation in petunia plants.Here,however,we provide evidence redefining the role of DPL in petunia.A CRISPR/Cas9-mediated mutation of DPL resulted in the absence of the vein-associated anthocyanin pattern above the abaxial surface of the flower bud,but not corolla tube venation,thus indicating that DPL did not regulate the formation of corolla tube venation.Alternately,quantitative real-time PCR analysis demonstrated that the spatiotemporal expression pattern of another R2R3-MYB gene,AN4,coincided with the formation of corolla tube venation in petunia.Furthermore,overexpression of AN4 promoted anthocyanin accumulation by increasing the expression of anthocyanin biosynthesis genes.CRISPR/Cas9-mediated mutation of AN4 led to an absence of corolla tube venation,suggesting that this gene in fact determines this key plant trait.Taken together,the results presented here redefine the prime regulator of corolla tube venation,paving the way for further studies on the molecular mechanisms underlying the various venation patterns in petunia.Bin Zhang Xiaojing Xu Renwei Huang Sha Yang Mingyang Li Yulong Guo 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:2
12Energetic particles’fluxes and dose in the Radiation Gene Box measured by space radiation detector onboard SJ-10 satellite显示文摘Background To evaluate the hazard of space radiation posing to the tissues,it is important to obtain exact fluxes of different radiation particles.The Radiation Gene Box(RGB)onboard SJ-10 spacecraft was an instrument designed to investigate the effects of space environment on the mESCs and drosophila.To derive the dose received by the tissues inside the RGB,the Space Radiation Detector(SRD)was installed inside it.Purpose The SRD was designed to derive the fluxes of electron,proton,hellion and gamma rays around it.If the type of the particles,the energies,the fluxes and the conversion coefficients are known,the dose received by the tissues could be evaluated.Methods The SRDwas designed as a △E-E solid-state telescope.By measuring the energy deposited in the three subdetectors,the particles’type and their energies could be discriminated.The data of SRDwere divided into 15 bins by the types of particles and their energy ranges.Results The gamma ray flux was higher than any other particle flux inside the RGB,and the electron was the most intense charge particle,while the helium ion was the most harmful radiation to the cells inside the RGB.Conclusion The dose rate inside the Radiation Gene Box was much higher than in the ground,but the integral dose of 12 days inside the RGB was about 2.13 mSv.It seemed unlikely to have obvious biological effects on the tissues of mice and drosophila.Xingzhu Cui Yaqing Liu Wenxi Peng Jinzhou Wang Min Gao Dongya Guo Xiaohua Liang Ruirui Fan Huanyu Wang Yunlong Zhang Zhongjian Ma Mingyang Yan Hong Xiao Yuanda Jiang Haiying Hang 2018Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2018,2,2:2
13Risk factors associated with hemorrhagic cystitis after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation显示文摘Hemorrhagic cystitis(HC)is a common complication of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT).The incidence is about 7%to 68%,and some patients have to suffer a long period of frequent,urgent,and painful urination,which brings great pain.This study aimed to analyze risk factors of HC and its effect on patient survival.We collected the medical records of 859 patients who underwent HSCT at our hospital between August 2016 and August 2020.Patients with and without HC were matched using propensity score matching at a 1:1 ratio based on sex,age,and diagnosis,and logistic regression analyses were used to identify factors associated with HC.We used Kaplan–Meier curves to analyze the survival rates of patients in the HC and non-HC groups.We also analyzed the relationship between BK viral load and the occurrence of HC using receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)analysis.After propensity score matching,there were 131 patients each in the HC and non-HC groups.In the HC group,89 patients(67.9%)had mild HC(stage II°)and 43(32.1%)had severe HC(stage III–IV).The median interval between stem cell transplantation and HC development was 31(3–244)days.Univariate analysis indicated that donor age,hematopoietic stem cell source,HLA,acute graft-versus-host disease,busulfan,anti-thymocyte globulin(ATG),total body irradiation,cytomegalovirus(CMV)(urine),and BK polyomavirus(BKV)(urine)were significantly associated with HC.ATG,CMV(urine),and BKV(urine)were independent risk factors for HC based on the multivariate analysis.The Kaplan–Meier survival analysis showed no significant difference between the HC and non-HC groups(P=0.14).The 1-and 2-year survival rates in the HC group were 78.4%and 69.6%,respectively,and the corresponding rates in the non-HC group were 84.4%and 80.7%,respectively.ROC analysis indicated that a urine BKV load of 1×10^(7) copies/mL was able to stratify the risk of HC.In conclusion,when the BKV load is>1×10^(7),we needtobe aware of the potential for the development of HC.Biao Shen Yueshen Ma Haixiao Zhang Mingyang Wang Jia Liu Jiaxin Cao Wenwen Guo Dan Feng Donglin Yang Rongli Zhang Xin Chen Qiaoling Ma Weihua Zhai Sizhou Feng Mingzhe Han Aiming Pang Erlie Jiang 2022Blood Science2022,4,2:2
14STX5 Inhibits Hepatocellular Carcinoma Adhesion and Promotes Metastasis by Regulating the PI3K/mTOR Pathway显示文摘Background and Aims:Syntaxin 5(STX5)is a member of the syntaxin or target-soluble SNAP receptor(t-SNARE)fam-ily and plays a critical role in autophagy.However,its function and molecular mechanism in tumor cell migration are still un-known.The role of STX5 in influencing hepatocellular carci-noma(HCC)is an important topic in our research.Methods:By using quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(qPCR),western blotting,and immunohistochemical analysis of RNA and protein in tissues,we comprehensively evaluated data sets from public databases and clinical patient cohorts for STX5.The correlation of STX5 expression with the clinicopathological characteristics of HCC patients were assessed.In addition,we predicted signal pathways from dif-ferentially expressed genes(DEGs)and the Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)databases,and confirmed the prediction using integrated transcriptome and RNA-seq.We further investi-gated the underlying mechanisms of STX5 in the migration and adhesion of HCC cells both in vitro and in vivo.Results:In the TCGA dataset and our patient cohort,STX5 levels were significantly higher in HCC tissues than in adjacent normal liver tissues.At the same time,high expression of STX5 pre-dicted worse prognosis in patients with liver cancer.High ex-pression of STX5 indicates the decrease of adhesion and the increase of migration of HCC cells,and the conversion of epi-thelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)in vitro via PI3K/mTOR pathway activation.Conversely,when Sirolimus,a phospho-inositide 3-kinase(PI3K)/AKT/mechanistic target of rapa-mycin(mTOR)inhibitor acts on cells simultaneously,STX5 overexpression-mediated enhancement of HCC metastasis is reversed.Double-negative regulation of STX5 and mTOR further enhanced the inhibitory effect of STX5 on HCC me-tastasis.In vivo,STX5 knockdown inhibited the metastasis of HCC cells.Conclusions:Our study demonstrates a novel research result that STX5 promotes HCC metastasis through PI3K/mTOR pathway.We believe that combined inhibition of STX5 and mTOR is a potential treatment for effectively pro-longing patient survival and inhibiting HCC metastasis.Bin Zhang Ziyin Zhao Youpeng Wang Tingting Guo Mingyang He Ge Guan Pai Peng Jinzhen Cai Bingyuan Zhang Xutao Liu Qiaoling Song 2023Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2023,11,3:1

16Divergent responses of plant biomass and diversity to short-term nitrogen and phosphorus addition in three types of steppe in Inner Mongolia,China显示文摘Background:Understanding the response of the plant community to increasing nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)inputs is helpful for managing and protecting grassland ecosystems in semiarid areas.However,information about different types of steppe responses to N and P availability in semiarid grasslands is limited.In 2017-2018,two field experiments were conducted with six levels of N(from 5 to 30 g N m^(−2)yr^(−1))and P(from 2.5 g to 15 g P m^(−2)yr^(−1))additions in three different temperate steppes,including meadow steppe(MS),typical steppe(TS),and desert steppe(DS),in northern China to study the effects of these addition rates on community biomass and diversity.Results:Our results showed that plant biomass and diversity in the three steppe types in Inner Mongolia responded differently to elevated N and P inputs.Increasing P promoted aboveground and belowground biomass more than increasing N in the three temperate steppes.Short-term N and P additions reduced plant diversity to some extent,with the most pronounced decreases in MS and DS.It is noteworthy that there were response thresholds for plant diversity and biomass in response to N and P inputs in different steppe types(e.g.,10 g P m^(−2)yr^(−1)).Furthermore,redundancy analysis and stepwise regression analysis revealed that changes in soil properties induced by nutrient addition and climate conditions jointly regulated changes in vegetation biomass and diversity.Conclusions:The plant biomass and diversity of three steppe types in Inner Mongolia respond divergently to elevated N and P inputs.Our results indicate that regional differences in climate and soil substrate conditions may jointly contribute to the divergent responses of plant biomass and diversity to short-term N and P addition.Our analyses provide new insights into managing and protecting grassland ecosystems.Considering that the effects of nutrient addition on plant diversity and productivity may have increasing effects over time,studies on long-term in situ nutrient addition are necessary.Ning Guo Mingyang Xie Zhao Fang Feng Jiao Xiaoyu Han 2022Ecological Processes2022,11,1:1
17Design spherical particles of potassium peroxymonosulfate compound salt with high stability and good powder properties via an agglomeration-dissolution mechanism显示文摘With the outbreak of COVID-19,disinfection protection has become a necessary measure to prevent infection.As a new type of disinfectant,potassium peroxymonosulfate compound salt(PMS)has the advantages of good bactericidal effect,non-toxicity,high safety and stability.However,the current PMS products with irregular particle shapes lead to poor flowability,high hygroscopicity,poor stability of reactive oxygen species(ROS)and serious caking problems.In this work,an agglomeration-dissolution mechanism was designed to prepare spherical PMS particles with large size(>300μm)and high sphericity(up to 90%),effectively addressing the above problems.Shaping(dissolution and abrasion)is the key to improving sphericity,which is mainly controlled by the design of the heating mode,residence time and stirring rate.Compared with the irregular PMS particles,the large spherical particles present better flowability(angle of repose decreased by 35.80%,Carr's index decreased by 64.29%,Hausner's ratio decreased by 19.14%),lower hygroscopicity(decreased by 38.0%),lower caking ratio(decreased by 84.50%),and higher stability(the monthly loss of ROS was reduced by 61.68%).The agglomeration-dissolution mechanism demonstrates the crystallization,agglomeration,dissolution and abrasion process of inorganic salt crystals,providing an opportunity to prepare high-end inorganic crystal materials with high-quality morphologies.Shanshan Feng Changyou Yu Shilin Guo Jinbo Ouyang Fei Yin Xiaodong Zhang Yongjian Zhang Mingyang Chen Dandan Han Junbo Gong Jingkang Wang 2023Particuology2023,,9:0
