| 1 | On the radar frequency dependence of polar mesosphere summer echoes显示文摘Polar mesosphere summer echoes(PMSEs)are very strong radar echoes in the polar mesopause in local summer.Here we present the frequency dependence of the volume reflectivity and the effect of energetic particle precipitation on modulated PMSEs by using PMSEs observations carried out by European Incoherent SCATter(EISCAT)heating equipment simultaneously with very high frequency(VHF)radar and ultra high frequency(UHF)radar on 12 July 2007.According to the experimental observations,the PMSEs occurrence rate at VHF was much higher than that at UHF,and the altitude of the PMSEs maximum observed at VHF was higher than that at UHF.Overlapping regions were observed by VHF radar between high energetic particle precipitation and the PMSEs.In addition,highfrequency heating had a very limited impact on PMSEs when the UHF electron density was enhanced because of energetic particle precipitation.In addition,an updated qualitative method was used to study the relationship between volume reflectivity and frequency.The volume reflectivity was found to be inversely proportional to the fourth power of radar frequency.The theoretical and experimental results provide a definitive data foundation for further analysis and investigation of the physical mechanism of PMSEs. | ShuCan Ge HaiLong Li Lin Meng MaoYan Wang Tong Xu Safi Ullah Abdur Rauf Abdel Hannachid | 2020 | Earth and Planetary Physics2020,4,6: | 2 |
| 2 | Reaction Process of Heavy Hydrocarbons Hydrogenation in Ebullated Bed显示文摘The properties and structural changes of unconverted oil(UCO)obtained from ebullated bed hydrogenation at different residue conversion rates were analyzed to clarify the reaction process of heavy components.Meanwhile,the processing routes of UCO,delayed coking,and solvent deasphalting,were investigated.The results showed that with the increase of conversion,the impurity removal rate increased;meanwhile the contents of sulfur and metal in UCO decreased,while the contents of nitrogen and residual carbon increased,and the colloidal stability of UCO became worse.The structural parameters of UCO indicated that the change in molecular structure of heavy oil mainly covered the opening of cycloalkanes ring,hydrogenation saturation of aromatic rings and dealkylation reaction during hydrogenation in the ebullated bed;the aromatic structure was basically unchanged at high conversion,and was mainly due to the ring opening of cycloalkanes and the fracture reaction of alkyl side chains.The coking route of UCO showed that low sulfur petroleum coke with different grades could be prepared by adjusting the conversion in ebullated bed to produce UCOs with different properties.The coke generating coefficient and sulfur transfer coefficient in UCO coking process were higher than those in residue coking.The properties of deasphalted oil(DAO)of UCO were significantly improved and could be used as FCC or hydrocracking feedstock.The DAO yield of UCO feedstock at high conversion was higher,and its sulfur content was lower and CCR value was higher. | Wang Jianjun Tong Yujun Yang Tao Ge Hailong Meng Zhaohui | 2021 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,4: | 2 |

| 4 | Hydrothermal pretreatment of rice straw at relatively lower temperature to improve biogas production vict anaerobic digestion显示文摘Although the degradation mechanism of straw anaerobic digestion is still obscure,lower temperature thermop hysical pretreatment might be a feasible way to improve biogas fermentation efficiency and net energy production in whole slurry.In this study,the performances of rice straw(RS)degradation and biogas production were examined at different pretreatment temperatures from 90 ℃ to 130℃ to identify the optimal process.With increasing pretreatment temperature,the change in cellulose and hemicellulose degradation in all the tests was directly related to volatile fatty acids(VFAs)content,but did not correspond to the variation in cumulative methane production.Both 100℃ and 130℃presented similar ideal digestion performances with highest methane yields of 127.6 and 124.6 mL/g TS,respectively,which were 22.80%and 19.83%higher than that noted in the control.Although test at 100 ℃pretreatment,which achieved 12.8%higher net energy production from RS than that observed in the control,could be considered as the optimal choice,the surplus biogas could only meet 75.9%of energy requirement for pretreated water temperature shift.Nevertheless,mesophilic or thermophilic fermentation,lower pretreatment water input,and reuse of excess heat are recommended as feasible working conditions for improving net biogas production. | Tao Luo Hailong Huang Zili Mei Fei Shen Yihong Ge Guoquan Hu Xi Meng | 2019 | Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,6: | 1 |

| 8 | Spatial distribution and export of nutrients and metal elements in the subterranean estuary of Daya Bay显示文摘Subterranean estuaries(STE)are important seawater-groundwater mixing zones with complex biogeochemical processes,which play a vital role in the migration and transformation of dissolved materials.In this study,we first investigated the spatial distributions of dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN),dissolved inorganic phosphorous(DIP),dissolved inorganic silicon(DSi)and metal elements(As,Ba,Cr,Cu,Fe,Mn,Ni,Pb,and Zn)in STE including upper intertidal,seepage face and subtidal zones.We then estimated submarine groundwater discharge(SGD)and associated nutrient and metal element fluxes.From the generalized Darcy’s law method,SGD was estimated to be 30.13 cm/d,which was about 7 times larger than the inflow(4.16 cm/d).The nutrient and metal fluxes from SGD were estimated to be(5.33±4.99)mmol/(m^(2)·d)for DIN,(0.22±0.03)mmol/(m^(2)·d)for DIP,(16.20±2.05)mmol/(m^(2)·d)for DSi,(1325.06±99.10)μmol/(m^(2)·d)for Fe,(143.41±25.13)μmol/(m^(2)·d)for Mn,(304.06±81.07)μmol/(m^(2)·d)for Zn,(140.21±13.33)μmol/(m^(2)·d)for Cu,(84.49±2.94)μmol/(m^(2)·d)for Pb,(37.38±5.51)μmol/(m^(2)·d)for Ba,(27.88±3.89)μmol/(m^(2)·d)for Cr,(10.10±6.33)μmol/(m^(2)·d)for Ni,and(6.25±3.45)μmol/(m^(2)·d)for As.The nutrient and metal fluxes from SGD were relatively higher than those from the inflow,suggesting that nearshore groundwater acted as the sources of nutrients and metal elements discharging into the sea.The environmental potential pollution of coastal seawater was evaluated by pollution factor index(Pi),comprehensive water quality index(CWQI),and ecological risk index(ERI).Pb mainly caused potential danger of nearshore environment with considerable contamination(Pi=5.78±0.19),heavy pollution(CWQI=4.09)and high ecological risk(ERI=18.00).This study contributed to better understanding the behavior of nutrients and metal elements and improving the sustainable management of STE under the pressure of anthropogenic activities and climate change. | Zhaoxi Liu Mingchen Ge Qianqian Wang Xuejing Wang Kai Xiao Gang Li Hailong Li | 2023 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2023,42,8: | 0 |

| 13 | Exploring the occurrence rate of PMSE-Es by Digisonde at Tromsø显示文摘Polar mesosphere summer echoes(PMSE)are observed simultaneously with Digisonde and EISCAT VHF radar.The phenomenon of irregular Es layers is called PMSE-like or PMSE-Es(Polar Mesosphere Summer Echoes-Es)and has some relationship with real PMSE.In this paper,the characteristics of irregular Es layers at 80–100 km were observed by Digisonde at Tromsøduring 2003–2014 are statistically analyzed with ionograms.The diurnal,day-to-day and year-to-year variations and discrepancies of occurrence rate between PMSE and PMSE-Es are compared with the statistical results observed by Esrange MST radar(ESRAD),and the reasons are discussed.The results show that the trends in the occurrence rate of PMSE-Es are similar to the trends in the occurrence rate of PMSE,but there are some notable differences.The occurrence rate of PMSE-Es is much lower than the occurrence rate of PMSE.The minimum value of PMSE-Es appears 1–2 hours earlier than the minimum value of the PMSE occurrence rate,while PMSE-Es appear earlier than PMSE in the year.In addition,there is a significant positive correlation between the annual average occurrence rates of PMSE and PMSE-Es.PMSEEs is a relatively important occurrence in the polar mesopause.Analysis of its characteristics can provide new ideas and methods for studying the formation mechanism of PMSE. | HaiLong Li ShuCan Ge Lin Meng MaoYan Wang Abdur Rauf Safi Ullah | 2021 | Earth and Planetary Physics2021,5,2: | 0 |
| 14 | Effect of ions on conductivity and permittivity in the Polar Mesosphere Summer Echoes region显示文摘For the first time,the effect of ions on complex conductivity and permittivity of dusty plasma at Polar Mesosphere Summer Echoes(PMSE)altitude is analyzed.Because of ions higher mass and smaller thermal velocity,generally,their effects are not considered in the study of electromagnetic properties of dusty plasmas.In this study,we modified the equations of conductivity and permittivity by adding the effect of ions.In the PMSE altitude region between 80 and 90 km,a local reduction in electron density(i.e.,an electron biteout),is produced by electron absorption onto dust particles.The bite-out condition contains high dust density and smaller electron density.From simulation results in comparatively strong bite-out conditions,we found that the ion effects on conductivity become significant with smaller dust size,lower electron temperature,and lower neutral density.For comparatively weak bite-out conditions,the ion effects on conductivity become significant with larger dust size,higher electron temperature,and higher neutral density.On the other hand,for different dust sizes,electron temperatures and neutral density,the ion effects on complex permittivity become significant only in very strong bite-out conditions.Based on these simulation results,we conclude that,in the absence of electron bite-out conditions,the effect of ions on complex conductivity and permittivity is not significant and can be ignored.However,during bite-out conditions,the effect of ions becomes significant and cannot be ignored because it significantly changes the conductivity and permittivity of dusty plasmas. | Safi Ullah HaiLong Li Abdur Rauf Lin Meng Bin Wang ShuCan Ge MaoYan Wang | 2021 | Earth and Planetary Physics2021,5,2: | 0 |
| 15 | LncRNA-POIR knockdown promotes hepatocellular carcinoma sensitivity to sorafenib through upregulating miR-182-5p and inhibiting autophagy显示文摘Although sorafenib has been found to prolong the survival time of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),sorafenib resistance remains an important challenge.Increasing studies have demonstrated that long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)contribute to drug resistance in a wide number of cancers.Human periodontal ligament stem cell(PDLSC)osteogenesis impairment-related lncRNA(POIR)is a recently defined lncRNA for which little is known regarding its function.Our study aimed to reveal the role of POIR in the development of HCC cell sorafenib resistance.The level of POIR expression in patients and tumor cells was examined by Reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)assay.CCK-8,EdU,and flow cytometry assay were adopted to examine cell viability,proliferation,and apoptosis,respectively.The autophagy-associated protein expressions were determined by western blotting and autophagic flux analysis.The results of this study exhibited increased POIR in HCC tissues and cells and may be correlated with sorafenib resistance.Knockdown of POIR elevated sorafenib sensitivity by suppressing autophagy in HCC cells.Mechanically,POIR knockdown upregulated miR-182-5p,implying that miR-182-5p mediates POIR regulation.MiR-182-5p overexpression significantly enhanced chemosensitivity to sorafenib,whereas miR-182-5p inhibition had the opposite effect.The sensitization of POIR siRNA to sorafenib was abolished by co-transfection with miR-182-5p inhibitor.Our findings provide a potential target for further clinical treatment of sorafenib-resistant HCC patients. | JIAN XU HAILONG GE CHEN CHAO FENG MO YU WANG DENGKUI ZHANG XIAOXIAO ZHENG LI ZHENG XUEMEI LU WEI CHEN QUN XU WEIXIN YU | 2022 | BIOCELL2022,46,6: | 0 |
