| 1 | Synthesis of spherical CoAl_2O_4 pigment particles with high reflectivity by polymeric-aerosol pyrolysis显示文摘Spherical cobalt blue particles with good reflectivity characteristics were synthesized by spray pyrolysis. Two different spray solutions were prepared to investigate the differences in the morphology and the reflectivity properties of cobalt blue particles. One was an aqueous solution, and the other was a polycation solution that was obtained by chemically modifying the aqueous solution with NH4OH. The cobalt blue particles prepared with the aqueous solution had an irregular morphology after heat treatment at 1000°C for 2 h. On the contrary, spherical and dense particles were obtained from the polycation solution. | 2 | Flotation and adsorption of quaternary ammonium salts collectors on kaolinite of different particle size显示文摘The flotation behaviors of decyltrimethylammonium (103C), dodecyltrimethylammonium chloride (DTAC), tetradecyltrimethylammonium chloride (TTAC) and cetyltrimethylammonium chloride (CTAC) on kaolinite of different particle size fraction were studied. The adsorbed amount and adsorption isotherms of collectors on kaolinite were determined for painstaking investigation into the adsorption of quaternary amines at kaolinite-water interface by ultraviolet spectrophotometer methods. The flotation results show that the flotation recovery of kaolinite of different particle fraction increases with an increase in pH when 103C, DTAC, TTAC and CTAC are used as collectors. As the concentration of collectors increases, the flotation recovery increases. Particle size of kaolinite has a strong effect on flotation. The flotation recovery of fine kaolinite decreases with the carbon chain of quaternary ammonium salts collectors increasing, while coarse kaolinite is on the contrary. The adsorbed amount tests and adsorption isotherms show that adsorbed amount increases when the particle size of kaolinite increases or when the carbon chain length of quaternary ammonium salts increases. | 3 | Preparation of spherical spinel LiCr_(0.04)Mn_(1.96)O_4 cathode materials based on the slurry spray drying method显示文摘Regular spherical chromium doped spinel lithium manganese oxides (LiCr0.04Mn1.96O4) with an average particle size of about 20 μm were prepared by the slurry spray drying process. The materials were compared with non-spherical LiCr0.04Mn1.96O4 materials prepared by the common drying process, and all materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), laser particle analyzer and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) specific surface area test. Electrochemical performances of these cathode materials were studied by cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and Li/LiCr0.04Mn1.96O4 battery test. The results show that the spherical active material is single spinel structure, compact, and with narrow particle size distribution and low BET specific surface area. | 4 | Synthesis of LiFePO_4 using FeSO_4·7H_2O byproduct from TiO_2 production as raw material显示文摘As the byproduct of TiO2 industrial production, impure FeSO4·7H2O was used for the synthesis of LiFePO4. With the purified solution of FeSO4·7H2O, FePO4·xH2O was prepared by a normal titration method and a controlled crystallization method, respectively. Then LiFePO4 materials were synthesized by calcining the mixture of FePO4·xH2O, Li2CO3, and glucose at 700°C for 10 h in flowing Ar. The results indicate that the elimination of FeSO4·7H2O impurities reached over 95%, and using FePO4·xH2O prepared by the controlled crystallization method, the obtained LiFePO4 material has fine and sphere-like particles. The material delivers a higher initial discharge specific capacity of 149 mAh·g-1 at a current density of 0.1C rate (1C=170 mA·g-1); the discharge specific capacity also maintains above 120 mAh·g1 after 100 cycles even at 2C rate. | 5 | Characteristics of root pullout resistance of Caragana korshinskii Kom.in the loess area of northeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,China显示文摘Roots exert pullout resistance under pullout force,allowing plants to resist uprooting.However,the pullout resistance characteristics of taproot-type shrub species of different ages remain unclear.In this study,in order to improve our knowledge of pullout resistance characteristics of taproot systems of shrub species,we selected the shrub species Caragana korshinskii Kom.in different growth periods as the research plant and conducted in situ root pullout test.The relationships among the maximum pullout resistance,peak root displacement,shrub growth period,and aboveground growth indices(plant height and plant crown breadth)were analyzed,as well as the mechanical process of uprooting.Pullout resistance of 4-15 year-old C.korshinskii ranged from 2.49(±0.25)to 14.71(±4.96)kN,and the peak displacement ranged from 11.77(±8.61)to 26.50(±16.09)cm.The maximum pullout resistance and the peak displacement of roots increased as a power function(R^(2)=0.9038)and a linear function(R^(2)=0.8242)with increasing age,respectively.The maximum pullout resistance and the peak displacement increased with increasing plant height;however,this relationship was not significant.The maximum pullout resistance increased exponentially(R^(2)=0.5522)as the crown breadth increased.There was no significant relationship between the peak displacement and crown breadth.The pullout resistance and displacement curve were divided into three stages:the initial nonlinear growth,linear growth,and nonlinear stages.Two modes of failure of a single root occurred when the roots were subjected to vertical loading forces:the synchronous breakage mode and the periderm preferential breakage mode.These findings provide a foundation for further investigation of the soil reinforcement and slope protection mechanisms of this shrub species in the loess area of northeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,China. | LIU Yabin SHI Chuan YU Dongmei WANG Shu PANG Jinghao ZHU Haili LI Guorong HU Xiasong | 2022 | Journal of Arid Land2022,14,7: | 2 |

| 8 | Weighted Particle Swarm Clustering Algorithm for Self-Organizing Maps显示文摘The traditional K-means clustering algorithm is difficult to determine the cluster number,which is sensitive to the initialization of the clustering center and easy to fall into local optimum.This paper proposes a clustering algorithm based on self-organizing mapping network and weight particle swarm optimization SOM&WPSO(Self-Organization Map and Weight Particle Swarm Optimization).Firstly,the algorithm takes the competitive learning mechanism of a self-organizing mapping network to divide the data samples into coarse clusters and obtain the clustering center.Then,the obtained clustering center is used as the initialization parameter of the weight particle swarm optimization algorithm.The particle position of the WPSO algorithm is determined by the traditional clustering center is improved to the sample weight,and the cluster center is the“food”of the particle group.Each particle moves toward the nearest cluster center.Each iteration optimizes the particle position and velocity and uses K-means and K-medoids recalculates cluster centers and cluster partitions until the end of the algorithm convergence iteration.After a lot of experimental analysis on the commonly used UCI data set,this paper not only solves the shortcomings of K-means clustering algorithm,the problem of dependence of the initial clustering center,and improves the accuracy of clustering,but also avoids falling into the local optimum.The algorithm has good global convergence. | Guorong Cui Hao Li Yachuan Zhang Rongjing Bu Yan Kang Jinyuan Li Yang Hu | 2020 | Journal of Quantum Computing2020,2,2: | 1 |

| 12 | GACNet: A Generative Adversarial Capsule Network for Regional Epitaxial Traffic Flow Prediction显示文摘With continuous urbanization,cities are undergoing a sharp expansion within the regional space.Due to the high cost,the prediction of regional traffic flow is more difficult to extend to entire urban areas.To address this challenging problem,we present a new deep learning architecture for regional epitaxial traffic flow prediction called GACNet,which predicts traffic flow of surrounding areas based on inflow and outflow information in central area.The method is data-driven,and the spatial relationship of traffic flow is characterized by dynamically transforming traffic information into images through a two-dimensional matrix.We introduce adversarial training to improve performance of prediction and enhance the robustness.The generator mainly consists of two parts:abstract traffic feature extraction in the central region and traffic prediction in the extended region.In particular,the feature extraction part captures nonlinear spatial dependence using gated convolution,and replaces the maximum pooling operation with dynamic routing,finally aggregates multidimensional information in capsule form.The effectiveness of the method is evaluated using traffic flow datasets for two real traffic networks:Beijing and New York.Experiments on highly challenging datasets show that our method performs well for this task. | Jinyuan Li Hao Li Guorong Cui Yan Kang Yang Hu Yingnan Zhou | 2020 | Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,8: | 1 |

| 18 | Co-dwelling, Mix-dwelling and Dis-dwelling: The Diversity Among Three Human and Livestock Dwelling Forms in Rural China显示文摘Humans and livestock have always dwelling together, especially in rural areas. Based on a multi-method approach of ethnographic fieldwork, grounded theory and one-way multivariate analysis of variance, this paper explores human and livestock dwelling. The findings show that human and livestock dwelling form a special type of human dwelling place, with forms defined as co-, mix-and dis-dwelling. Then, from co-, mix-to dis-dwelling constructed a story line to the evolution of human and livestock dwelling forms, which further explains the entire dwelling situation of humans and livestock, including the dimensions of human dweller, livestock dweller, the rural environment and special events. Among co-, mix-and dis-dwelling significant differences existed between human and livestock individuals, the nature of rural environment, vernacularity and rural tourism development. Between co-and dis-dwelling, significant differences existed in seventeen aspects; between mix-and dis-dwelling, significant differences existed in eleven aspects; meanwhile, no significant differences existed between co-and mix-dwelling. Accordingly, this suggested that human and livestock dwelling forms can be divided into mix-and dis-dwelling. This study on humans and livestock dwelling relationship offer a new perspective on rural and animal geography. | 19 | Influence of synthesis parameters on the properties of LiFePO4/C cathode material显示文摘The influence of sintering temperature,carbon content and dispersive agent in ball-milling was investigated on the properties of Li Fe PO_4/C prepared using Fe_2O_3,NH_4H_2PO_4,Li_2CO_3 and glucose via solid state reaction.X-ray powder diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and charge–discharge test were applied to the characterization of the Li Fe PO_4/C samples synthesized under different conditions.Sintering temperature affects the crystallite/particle size and degree of crystallinity of LiF eP O_4,formation of Fe_2 P and maintenance of carbon in LiF e PO_4/C.Carbon maintenance is favored by low sintering temperature,and 700 °C is optimum for synthesis of LiF eP O_4/C with superior electrochemical performance.A higher carbon content in the range of 4.48%–11.03% results in a better rate capability for Li Fe PO_4/C.The dispersive agent used in ball-milling impacts the existent state of carbon in the final product which subsequently determines its charge–discharge behavior.The sample prepared at700 °C by using acetone as the dispersive agent in ball-milling exhibits an excellent rate capability and capacity retention without any fade at 0.1C,1C and 2C,with corresponding average discharge capacities of 153.8,128.3and 121.0 m A·h·g^(-1),respectively,in the first 50 cycles. | Zhengwei Xiao Yingjie Zhang Guorong Hu | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2016,24,3: | 1 |
