1New generation of multi-scale NWP system (GRAPES):general scientific design显示文摘A new generation of numerical prediction system GRAPES (a short form of Global/Regional Assimilation and PrEdiction System) was set up in China Meteorological Administration (CMA). This paper focuses on the scientific design and preliminary results of the numerical prediction model in GRAPES, including basic idea and strategy of the general scientific design, multi-scale dynamic core, physical package configuration, architecture and parallelization of the codes. A series of numerical experiments using the real data with horizontal resolutions from 10 to 280 km and idealized experiments with very high resolution up to 100 m are conducted, giving encouraging results supporting the multi-scale application of GRAPES. The results of operational implementation of GRAPES model in some NWP centers are also presented with stress at evaluations of the capability to predict the main features of precipitation in China. 2Preparation of hierarchical mesoporous Zn/HZSM-5 catalyst and its application in MTG reaction显示文摘The hierarchical mesoporous Zn/ZSM-5 zeolite catalyst was prepared by NaOH treatment and Zn impregnation, and its application in the conversion of methanol to gasoline (MTG) was studied. N2 adsorption-desorption results showed that the mesopores with sizes of 2–20 nm in HZ5/0.3AT was formed by 0.3 M NaOH alkali treatment. The zeolite samples after modification were also characterized by XRF, AAS, XRD, SEM and NH3-TPD methods. Zn impregnated catalyst Zn/HZ5/0.3AT exhibited dramatic improvements in catalytic lifetime and liquid hydrocarbons yield. The selectivity of aromatic hydrocarbons was also improved after Zn impregnation. 3Verification of GRAPES unified global and regional numerical weather prediction model dynamic core显示文摘During the past few years, most of the new developed numerical weather prediction models adopt the strategy of multi-scale technique. Therefore, China Meteorological Administration has devoted to developing a new generation of global and regional multi-scale model since 2003. In order to validate the performance of the GRAPES (Global and Regional Assimilation and PrEdiction System) model both for its scientific design and program coding, a suite of idealized tests has been proposed and conducted, which includes the density flow test, three-dimensional mountain wave and the cross-polar flow test. The density flow experiment indicates that the dynamic core has the ability to simulate the fine scale nonlinear flow structures and its transient features. While the three-dimensional mountain wave test shows that the model can reproduce the horizontal and vertical propagation of internal gravity waves quite well. Cross-polar flow test demonstrates the rationality of both for the semi-Lagrangian departure point calculation and the discretization of the model near the poles. 5Risk of tuberculosis in patients with rheumatoid arthritis treated with biological and targeted drugs:meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials显示文摘Background:Concerns exist regarding the potential development of tuberculosis in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA)treated with biological and targeted drugs.We assessed systematically whether biological therapy increased the risk of tuberculosis in patients with RA by meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials(RCTs).Methods:A systematic literature search was conducted in PubMed,Embase,the Cochrane Library,and China Biology Medicine disc for RCTs evaluating biological therapy in patients with RA from inception through August 2021.Traditional meta-analysis and network meta-analysis were performed to compare the risk of tuberculosis for each biologics class in patients with RA.Peto odds ratio(Peto OR)and its 95%confidence interval(CI)were calculated as the primary effect measure.Results:In total,39 studies with 20,354 patients were included in this meta-analysis,and 82 patients developed tuberculosis.The risk of tuberculosis was increased in patients treated with biologics compared with non-biologics(Peto OR:3.86,95%CI:2.36-6.32,P<0.001).Also,tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)inhibitors had a higher probability of developing tuberculosis than placebo(Peto OR:3.98,95%CI:2.30-6.88,P<0.001).However,network meta-analysis demonstrated that there was no significant difference in the risk of tuberculosis for each biologics class in patients with RA.Noticeably,tuberculosis was significantly more common in patients treated with a high dose compared with patients receiving a low dose of tofacitinib(Peto OR:7.39,95%CI:2.00-27.31,P=0.003).Conclusion:This meta-analysis demonstrates the evidence of an elevated risk of tuberculosis in patients with RA treated with TNF-αinhibitors,and a dose-dependent elevated risk of tuberculosis in patients treated with tofacitinib.Xiaojian Ji Lidong Hu Yiwen Wang Siliang Man Xingkang Liu Chuan Song Jiaxin Zhang Jian Zhu Jianglin Zhang Feng Huang 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,4:2
6A ROS-responsive,self-immolative and self-reporting hydrogen sulfide donor with multiple biological activities for the treatment of myocardial infarction显示文摘Myocardial infarction(MI),as one of the leading causes of global death,urgently needs effective therapies.Recently,hydrogen sulfide(H2S)has been regarded as a promising therapeutic agent for MI,while its spatiotemporally controlled delivery remains a major issue limiting clinical translation.To address this limitation,we designed and synthesized a novel H2S donor(HSD-R)that can produce H2S and emit fluorescence in response to reactive oxygen species(ROS)highly expressed at diseased sites.HSD-R can specifically target mitochondria and provide red fluorescence to visualize and quantify H2S release in vitro and in vivo.Therapeutically,HSD-R significantly promoted the reconstruction of cardiac structure and function in a rat MI model.Mechanistically,myocardial protection is achieved by reducing cardiomyocyte apoptosis,attenuating local inflammation,and promoting angiogenesis.Furthermore,inhibition of typical pro-apoptotic genes(Bid,Apaf-1,and p53)played an important role in the anti-apoptotic effect of HSD-R to achieve cardioprotection,which were identified as new therapeutic targets of H2S against myocardial ischemia injury.This ROS-responsive,self-immolative,and fluorescent H2S donor can serve as a new theranostic agent for MI and other ischemic diseases.Mengyun Yao Yifei Lu Lin Shi Yong Huang Qing Zhang Jianglin Tan Ping Hu Jianxiang Zhang Gaoxing Luo Ning Zhang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,3:2

9AUTO-IDENTIFICATION OF FOREST FIRE-POINTS IN NOAA IMAGES BASED ON NEURAL NETWORK显示文摘Identification of forest fire_points in NOAA images is the basis of monitoring forest fire using NOAA satellite data.Traditional visual interpretation is difficult to settle for auto_identification with computer.The artificial neural network technique provides a new means for solving this problem.In this paper,the principles and method of using neural network technique to automatically identify fire_points in NOAA images are discussed and the test in the range of Hubei province is presented.The result of the test shows that the disciplined neural network has collected the character of fire_points and has ability to identify fire_points in NOAA images.Comparing neural network with visual interpretation,the conclusion is drawn that by using neural network the purpose of auto_identification of forest fire_points in NOAA images can be realized with the almost same precision.LIANG Yitong HU Jianglin LIU Liangming XIE Ping 2001Geo-Spatial Information Science2001,4,3:0
10Decision-making Method of Sharing Mode for Multi-microgrid System Considering Risk and Coordination Cost显示文摘Power sharing can improve the benefit of the multi-microgrid(MMG)system.However,the information disclosure may appear during the sharing process,which would bring privacy risk to a local microgrid.Actually,the risk and coordination cost are different in different sharing modes.Therefore,this paper develops a decision-making method to decide the most suitable one of three mostly used sharing modes(i.e.,cooperative game with complete information,cooperative game with incomplete information,and noncooperative game).Firstly,power sharing paradigms and coordination mechanisms in the three modes are formulated in detail.Particularly,different economic operation models of MMG system are included to analyze the economic benefit from different sharing modes.Based on the different disclosed information,the risk cost is evaluated by using the simplified fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(FAHP).And the coordination cost for different sharing modes is expressed in different functions.In addition,a hierarchical evaluation system including three decision-making factors(e.g.,economics,risk,and coordination)is set up.Meanwhile,a combination weighting method(e.g.,the simplified FAHP combined with the anti-entropy weight method)is applied to obtain the weight of each factor for comprehensive evaluation.Finally,the optimal sharing solution of MMG system is decided by comparing and analyzing the difference among the three sharing modes.Numerical results validate that the proposed method can provide a reference to deciding a suitable sharing mode.Hongjun Gao Jingxi Yang Shuaijia He Jianglin Zhang Junyong Liu Mingyang Hu 2022Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2022,10,6:0
11New Version of the CMA-GFS Dynamical Core Based on the Predictor–Corrector Time Integration Scheme显示文摘The operational numerical weather prediction system established by the China Meteorological Administration(CMA),based on the Global/Regional Assimilation and Prediction System(GRAPES)model,adopts the classical semi-implicit semi-Lagrangian(SISL)time integration algorithm.This paper describes a major upgrade to the dynamical core of the CMA global forecast system(CMA-GFS),which was successfully incorporated into operation in 2020.In the upgrade,the classical SISL is further developed into a predictor–corrector scheme,a three-dimensional(3D)reference profile instead of the original isothermal reference profile is applied when implementing the semi-implicit algorithm,and a hybrid terrain-following vertical coordinate system is also applied.The new version of the dynamical core greatly improves the model performance,the time integration reaches second-order accuracy,the time step can be extended by 50%,and the efficiency is greatly improved(by approximately 30%).Atmospheric circulation simulation is systematically improved,and deviations in temperature,wind,and humidity are reduced.The new version of the dynamical core provides a solid foundation for further development of the entire operational system of the CMA.Xueshun SHEN Yong SU Hongliang ZHANG Jianglin HU 2023Journal of Meteorological Research2023,37,3:0
12Accelerated Evolution of H7N9 Subtype Influenza Virus under Vaccination Pressure显示文摘No avian H7 N9 outbreaks have occurred since the introduction of H7 N9 inactivated vaccine in the fall of 2017.However,H7 N9 is still prevalent in poultry.To surveil the prevalence,genetic characteristics,and antigenic changes of H7 N9,over7000 oropharyngeal and cloaca swab specimens were collected from live poultry markets and farms in 15 provinces of China from 2017 to 2019.A total of 85 influenza virus subtype H7 N9 strains were isolated and 20 representative strains were selected for genetic analysis and antigenicity evaluation.Results indicated the decreased prevalence of low-pathogenic H7 N9 strains while highly-pathogenic H7 N9 strains became dominated since the introduction of vaccine.Phylogenetic analysis showed that strains from 2019 formed an independent small branch and were genetically distant to strains isolated in 2013–2018.Analysis of key amino acid sites showed that the virus strains may adapt to the host environment evolutionally through mutation.Our analysis predicted additional potential glycosylation sites for HA and NA genes in the 2019 strains.Sequence analysis of HA gene in strains isolated from 2018 to 2019 showed that there were an increased nucleotide substitution rate and an increased mutation rate in the first and second nucleotides of coding codons within the open reading frame.The hemagglutination inhibition(HI)assay showed that H7-Re1 and H7-Re2 exhibited a lower HI titer for isolates from 2019,while H7-Re3 and r LN79 showed a high HI titer.The protective effect of the vaccine decreased after15 months of use.Overall,under vaccination pressure,the evolution of influenza virus subtype H7 N9 has accelerated.Yifan Wu Jingkai Hu Xuanjiang Jin Xiao Li Jinfeng Wang Mengmeng Zhang Jianglin Chen Shumin Xie Wenbao Qi Ming Liao Weixin Jia 2021Virologica Sinica2021,36,5:0
13Internet-based nationwide evaluation of patient preferences for mobile health features in ankylosing spondylitis显示文摘Background Ankylosing spondylitis(AS)generally occurs in young adults.The functional impairments resulting in limitation in activities and social participation might exert lifetime impacts.The present study investigated the preferences for mobile health(mHealth)features motivating the self-management behaviors in AS.Methods The present study was an internet-based,nationwide quantitative study based on the Chinese Ankylos-ing Spondylitis Prospective Imaging Cohort(CASPIC)study,which was a nationwide,ongoing,prospective cohort study launched in conjunction with Smart-phone SpondyloArthritis Management System(SpAMS)in China.Par-ticipants with AS from the CASPIC were invited to report their mHealth preferences from December 2019 to February 2020.The questionnaire was designed to determine the patient preferences for 28 mHealth features.Sociodemographic characteristics,including age,gender,and work status,were collected.Results Among all the visitors to the online questionnaire(n=872),93.9%(819/872)respondents fully com-pleted the questionnaire and were enrolled in the present study.The mean age was(33.4±9.0)years,and 70.57%(578/819)of the respondents were males.The mean scores of 22(78.57%)features were greater than 4(like or strongly like).The mean standard deviation(SD)score of exercise instructions was 4.70(0.63),which was the most preferred feature,whereas the social interaction features were preferred the least.Pain analysis was more preferred among female respondents(4.72 vs.4.60,P=0.012),whereas all items of the social interaction theme and social interaction as a whole(3.73 vs.3.52,P<0.001)were less preferred among female respondents.Additionally,the following themes were more preferred by respondents aged≤40 years:credibility and styling(4.37 vs.4.19,P<0.001);disease action support(4.55 vs.4.47,P=0.007);and incentivization(4.35 vs.4.24,P=0.025).Conclusion AS patients show great interest for the majority of mHealth features.Exercise instructions and exercise scheduling are the most preferred features,whereas social interaction is the least preferred feature.In addition,gender-related and age-related differences exist in mHealth feature preferences.Yiwen Wang Xiaojian Ji Lidong Hu Jian Zhu Jianglin Zhang Feng Huang 2023Intelligent Medicine2023,3,2:0
