Relationship between the later strong gas-charging and the improvement of the reservoir capacity in deep Ordovician carbonate reservoir in Tazhong area, Tarim Basin显示文摘Some large-scale oil-gas fields have recently been discovered in marine carbonate in China, especially the significant discoveries in deep reservoir that reveals a favorable exploration prospect. Tazhong area is the first-order tectonic unit in Tarim Basin, where there are nearly trillion cubic meters of natural gas resources in the Ordovician limestone reef flat complex in Lianglitage Formation. The reservoir is shelf edge reef flat complex, characterized by ultra-low porosity, low permeability and strong heterogeneous, with a current burial depth of 4500―6500 m. Studies find that the formation and distribution of deep reservoir of the Lianglitage Formation were controlled not only by the early high-energy sedimentary facies and corrosion, but the fracture network formed by the strong gas-charging process since the Himalayan epoch, which played an important role in optimizing and improving reservoir properties. This paper discusses the relationship between the strong later gas-charging and the improvement of the reservoir capacity in deep Ordovician carbonate reservoir, and also builts the corresponding mechanisms and modes, which is favorable for the prediction and evaluation of the advantageous exploration targets. | ZHAO WenZhi ZHU GuangYou ZHANG ShuiChang ZHAO XueFeng SUN YuShan WANG HongJun YANG HaiJun HAN JianFa | 2009 | Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,17: | 31

The large increase of δ^(13)C_(carb)-depth gradient and the end-Permian mass extinction显示文摘Carbonate carbon isotope δ(13Ccarb) has received considerable attention in the Permian-Triassic transition for its rapid negative shift coinciding with the great end-Permian mass extinction event. The mechanism has long been debated for such a δ13Ccarb negative excursion through the end-Permian crisis and subsequent large perturbations in the entire Early Triassic.A δ13Ccarb depth gradient is observed at the Permian-Triassic boundary sections of different water-depths,i.e.,the Yangou,Meishan, and Shangsi sections, and such a large δ13Ccarb-depth gradient near the end-Permian mass extinction horizon is believed to result from a stratified Paleotethys Ocean with widespread anoxic/euxinic deep water. The evolution of δ13Ccarb-depth gradient combined with paleontological and geochemical data suggests that abundant cyanobacteria and vigorous biological pump in the immediate aftermath of the end-Permian extinction would be the main cause of the large δ13Ccarb-depth gradient, and the enhanced continental weathering with the mass extinction on land provides a mass amount of nutriment for the flourishing cyanobacteria.Photic zone anoxia/euxinia from the onset of chemocline upward excursion might be the direct cause for the mass extinction whereas the instability of chemocline in the stratified Early Triassic ocean would be the reason for the delayed and involuted biotic recovery. | SONG HaiJun TONG JinNan XIONG YanLin SUN DongYing TIAN Li SONG HuYue | 2012 | Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,7: | 11
The influence of pore structure on P-& S-wave velocities in complex carbonate reservoirs with secondary storage space显示文摘Secondary storage spaces with very complex geometries are well developed in Ordovician carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin, which is taken as a study case in this paper. It is still not clear how the secondary storage space shape influences the P-& S-wave velocities (or elastic properties) in complex carbonate reservoirs. In this paper, three classical rock physics models (Wyllie timeaverage equation,Gassmann equation and the Kuster-Toks z model) are comparably analyzed for their construction principles and actual velocity prediction results, aiming at determining the most favourable rock physics model to consider the influence of secondary storage space shape. Then relationships between the P-& S-wave velocities in carbonate reservoirs and geometric shapes of secondary storage spaces are discussed from different aspects based on actual well data by employing the favourable rock physics model. To explain the influence of secondary storage space shape on V P-V S relationship,it is analyzed for the differences of S-wave velocities between derived from common empirical relationships (including Castagna's mud rock line and Greenberg-Castagna V P-V S relationship) and predicted by the rock physics model. We advocate that V P-V S relationship for complex carbonate reservoirs should be built for different storage space types. For the carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin, the V P-V S relationships for fractured,fractured-cavernous,and fractured-hole-vuggy reservoirs are respectively built on the basis of velocity prediction and secondary storage space type determination.Through the discussion above,it is expected that the velocity prediction and the V P-V S relationships for complex carbonate reservoirs should fully consider the influence of secondary storage space shape, thus providing more reasonable constraints for prestack inversion, further building a foundation for realizing carbonate reservoir prediction and fluid prediction. | Wang Haiyang Sam Zandong Sun Yang Haijun Gao Hongliang Xiao Youjun Hu Hongru | 2011 | Petroleum Science2011,8,4: | 10
Pre-stack inversion for caved carbonate reservoir prediction:A case study from Tarim Basin,China显示文摘The major storage space types in the carbonate reservoir in the Ordovician in the TZ45 area are secondary dissolution caves. For the prediction of caved carbonate reservoir,post-stack methods are commonly used in the oilfield at present since pre-stack inversion is always limited by poor seismic data quality and insufficient logging data.In this paper, based on amplitude preserved seismic data processing and rock-physics analysis,pre-stack inversion is employed to predict the caved carbonate reservoir in TZ45 area by seriously controlling the quality of inversion procedures. These procedures mainly include angle-gather conversion, partial stack, wavelet estimation,low-frequency model building and inversion residual analysis. The amplitude-preserved data processing method can achieve high quality data based on the principle that they are very consistent with the synthetics.Besides, the foundation of pre-stack inversion and reservoir prediction criterion can be established by the connection between reservoir property and seismic reflection through rock-physics analysis. Finally, the inversion result is consistent with drilling wells in most cases. It is concluded that integrated with amplitude-preserved processing and rock-physics,pre-stack inversion can be effectively applied in the caved carbonate reservoir prediction. | Zhang Yuanyin Sam Zandong Sun Yang Haijun Wang Haiyang HanJianfa Gao Hongliang Luo Chunshu Jing Bing | 2011 | Petroleum Science2011,8,4: | 9
A new method of formation evaluation for fractured and caved carbonate reservoirs:A case study from the Lundong area,Tarim Basin,China显示文摘The carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin are characterized by low matrix-porosity,heterogeneity and anisotropy, which make it difficult to predict and evaluate these reservoirs. The reservoir formations in Lundong area experienced a series of diagenesis and tectonic evolution stages. And secondary storage spaces such as fractures and dissolution caves were developed while nearly all the primary pores have disappeared.Based on a summary of different types of storage spaces and their responses in conventional logs,FMI and full waveform sonic logs which are sensitive to different reservoirs, the comprehensive probability index (CPI) method is applied to evaluating the reservoirs and a standard of reservoir classification is established.By comparing the evaluation results with actual welllogging results, the method has proven to be practical for formation evaluation of carbonate reservoirs, especially for the fractured carbonate reservoirs. In reservoir fluid identification, the multivariate stepwise discriminant analysis (MSDA) method is introduced.Combining the CPI method and MSDA method, comprehensive formation evaluation has been performed for fractured and caved carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin.Additionally,on the basis of secondary pore inversion results, another new method of formation evaluation is also proposed in the discussion part of this paper.Through detailed application result analysis, the method shows a promising capability for formation evaluation of complex carbonate reservoirs dominated by various secondary pores such as holes, caves, and cracks. | Yang Haijun Sam Zandong Sun Cai Lulu Xiao Youjun WangHaiyang Luo Chunshu Hu Hongru | 2011 | Petroleum Science2011,8,4: | 7

Biochar Effectively Reduces Ammonia Volatilization From Nitrogen-Applied Soils in Tea and Bamboo Plantations显示文摘Intensive practices in forest soils result in dramatic nitrogen(N)losses, particularly ammonia(NH_(3))volatilization,to adjacent environmental areas.A soil column experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of bamboo biochar on NH_(3) volatilization from tea garden and bamboo forest soils. The results showed that biochar amendment effectively reduced NH_(3) volatilization from tea garden and bamboo forest soil by 79.2%and 75.5%,respectively.The soil pH values increased by 0.53-0.61 units after biochar application. The NH_(4)^(+)-N and total N of both soils were 13.8-29.7%and 34.0-41.9%higher under the biochar treatments than under the control treatment, respectively. In addition, the soil water contents of the two biochar-amended soils were significantly higher(P<0.05),by 10.7-12.5%,than that of the soils without biochar amendment. Therefore, biochar mitigates NH_(3) volatilization from the tested forest soils, which was due to the increases in soil NH_(4)^(+)-N,total N and water contents after biochar amendment. Our main findings suggest that biochar addition is an effective management option for sustainable forest management. | Lei Chu H.M.K.Darshika Hennayake Haijun Sun | 2019 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2019,88,3: | 6
Seismic attributes and integrated prediction of fractured and caved carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin,China显示文摘The carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin are characterized by anisotropy and strong heterogeneity.Combined with an integrated analysis of data from seismic, geology, and drilling results,a series of attributes which are suitable for fractured and caved carbonate reservoir prediction is discussed, including amplitude, coherence analysis, spectra decomposition, seismic absorption attenuation analysis and impedance inversion.Moreover,3-D optimization of these attributes is achieved by integration of multivariate discriminant analysis and principle component analysis, where the logging data are taken as training samples.Using the optimized results, the spatial distribution and configuration features of the caved reservoirs can be characterized in detail. This technique not only improves the understanding of the spatial distribution of current reservoirs but also provides a significant basis for the discovery and production of carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin. | Liu Lifeng Sam Zandong Sun Yang Haijun Han Jianfa Gao Hongliang Jing Bing Zhu Xinghui | 2011 | Petroleum Science2011,8,4: | 6
An improved form of smoothed particle hydrodynamics method for crack propagation simulation applied in rock mechanics显示文摘The simulation of crack propagation processes in rock engineering has been not only a research hot spot among scholars but also a challenge.Based on this background,a new numerical method named improved kernel of smoothed particle hydrodynamics(IKSPH)has been put forward.By improving the kernel function in the traditional smoothed particle hydrodynamics(SPH)method, the brittle fracture characteristics of the base particles are realized. The particle domain searching method(PDSM)has also been put forward to generate the arbitrary complex fissure networks.Three numerical examples are analyzed to validate the efficiency of IKSPH and PDSM,which can correctly reveal the morphology of wing crack and the laws of crack coalescence compared with previous experimental and numerical studies. Finally,a rock slope model with complex joints is numerically simulated and the progressive failure processes are exhibited, which indicates that the IKSPH method can be well applied to rock mechanics engineering. The research results showed that IKSPH method reduces the programming difficulties and avoids the traditional grid distortion, which can provide some references for the application of IKSPH to rock mechanics engineering and the understanding of rock fracture mechanisms. | Shuyang Yu Xuhua Ren Jixun Zhang Haijun Wang Zhaohua Sun | 2021 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,3: | 6
The application of amplitude-preserved processing and migration for carbonate reservoir prediction in the Tarim Basin,China显示文摘Conventional seismic exploration method based on post-stack data usually fails to identify the distribution of fractured and caved carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin,so the rich pre-stack information should be applied to the prediction of carbonate reservoirs.Amplitude-preserved seismic data processing is the foundation. In this paper, according to the feature of desert seismic data (including weak reflection, fast attenuation of high frequency components, strong coherent noises, low S/N and resolution),a set of amplitude-preserved processing techniques is applied and a reasonable processing flow is formed to obtain the high quality data. After implementing a set of pre-stack amplitude-preserved processing,we test and define the kernel parameters of amplitude-preserved Kirchhoff PSTM (pre-stack time migration) and subsequent gathers processing,in order to obtain the amplitude-preserved gathers used to the isotropic pre-stack inversion for the identification of caved reservoirs. The AVO characteristics of obtained gathers fit well with the synthetic gathers from logging data, and it proves that the processing above is amplitudepreserved. The azimuthal processing techniques, including azimuth division and binning enlargement, are implemented for amplitude-preserved azimuthal gathers with the uniform fold. They can be used in the anisotropic inversion to detect effective fractures. The processing techniques and flows are applied to the field seismic data, and are proved available for providing the amplitude-preserved gathers for carbonate reservoir prediction in the Tarim Basin. | Sam Zandong Sun Yang Haijun Zhang Yuanyin Han Jianfa WangDan Sun Wenbo Jiang Shan | 2011 | Petroleum Science2011,8,4: | 6
P-wave fracture prediction algorithm using pre-stack data with limited azimuth distribution:A case study in the TZ45 area,Tarim Basin,China显示文摘Fractured reservoirs always show anisotropic amplitude features,i.e.the reflection amplitude of seismic waves varies with offset and azimuth (AVOZ).A noise attenuation fracture inversion algorithm is presented for fracture detection based on P-wave AVOZ.The conventional inversion method always fails when applied to limited azimuth data because of the existence of noise. In our inversion algorithm, special attention is paid to suppressing the noise during inversion,to overcome the limitation of the conventional inversion method on limited azimuth data.Numerical models are employed to illustrate the effectiveness of the method. The inversion algorithm is then applied to Tazhong 45 area field data which is acquired under limited azimuth distribution.Compared with cores and fullbore formation microimage (FMI),the inverted results (fracture density and orientation) are reasonable, suggesting that the inversion algorithm is feasible for fracture prediction in the Tarim Basin. | Sam Zandong Sun Wang Zhaoming Yang Haijun Xiao Xi Wang Yueying Chen Lei Yang Pei | 2011 | Petroleum Science2011,8,4: | 5

This paper proposes a DG siting and sizing model in an active distribution network (ADN). The objective is to minimize the total cost, including investment, operation and maintenance costs. The proposed model is transferred to a Mixed Integer Second-Order Cone Programming (MISOCP) model based on a distribution network forward backward-sweep power flow and constraint relaxation. The CVX platform and GUROBI solver are used for the solution. The scenario analysis is used for the uncertainties of load and DG. Different numbers of operational scenarios are considered in order to analyze the effect of a non-network solution to the final planning result and total investment. The planning results with and without consideration of active managements, and the planning results with and without taking environmental profits into consideration, are compared and analyzed. | 14 | ZmSRL5 is involved in drought tolerance by maintaining cuticular wax structure in maize显示文摘Cuticular wax is a natural barrier on terrestrial plant organs, which protects plants from damages caused by a variety of stresses. Here,we report the identification and functional characterization of a cuticular-wax-related gene,Zea mays L.SEMI-ROLLED LEAF 5(ZmSRL5).The loss-of-function mutant srl5,which was created by a 3,745 bp in-sertion in the first intron that led to the premature tran-script,exhibited abnormal wax crystal morphology and distribution, which,in turn, caused the pleiotropic pheno-types including increased chlorophyll leaching and water loss rate, decreased leaf temperature, sensitivity to drought,as well as semi-rolled mature leaves. However, total wax amounts showed no significant difference between wild type and semi-rolled leaf5(srl5)mutant.The phenotype of srl5 was confirmed through the generation of two allelic mutants using CRISPR/Cas9.ZmSRL5 encodes a CASPARIAN-STRIP-MEMBRANE-DOMAIN-LIKE(CASPL)protein located in plasma membrane, and highly expressed in developing leaves.Further analysis showed that the expressions of the most wax related genes were not affected or slightly al-tered in srl5.This study, thus, primarily uncovers that ZmSRL5 is required for the structure formation of the cu-ticular wax and could increase the drought tolerance by maintaining the proper cuticular wax structure in maize. | Zhenyuan Pan Min Liu Hailiang Zhao Zengdong Tan Kun Liang Qin Sun Dianming Gong Haijun He Wenqi Zhou Fazhan Qiu | 2020 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,12: | 5 |
Validation of a HRGC–ECNI/LRMS method to monitor short-chain chlorinated paraffins in human plasma显示文摘Short-chain chlorinated paraffins(SCCPs) are produced in high volume and have the high potential to pose a threat to human health. However, little information is available for SCCP contamination in human blood/plasma/serum, mainly due to the difficulty of sample preparation and quantitative analysis. A method using high resolution gas chromatography coupled with electron capture negative ionization low resolution mass spectrometry(HRGC–ECNI/LRMS) was developed and validated to measure SCCPs in human plasma. The pretreatment process included protein denaturation and lipid elimination, liquid–liquid extraction with a mixture of n-hexane/dichloromethane(1:1, V/V), and cleanup on a multilayer silica column. The blank controls, including procedural blank, vacuum blood collection tube blank, and instrumental blank, were the most pivotal points for the reliable analysis of SCCPs. The average value of procedural blanks was 9.0 ng/g; and the method detection limit(MDL), calculated as the sum of the average procedural blank value and 3 times of the standard deviation of the procedural blanks, was 12.6 ng/g plasma. The validated method was applied to measure the concentrations of the total SCCPs(∑ SCCPs) in50 plasma samples from a general population. | 16 | Effects of octacosanol extracted from rice bran on blood hormone levels and gene expressions of glucose transporter protein-4 and adenosine monophosphate protein kinase in weaning piglets显示文摘The object of this study was to explore the regulatory mechanism of octacosanol to the body of animals and the effects of octacosanol on blood hormone levels and gene expressions of glucose transporter protein(GLUT-4) and adenosine monophosphate protein kinase(AMPK) in liver and muscle tissue of weaning piglets. A total of 105 crossbred piglets([Yorkshire x Landrace] x Duroc) with an initial BW of5.70 ± 1.41 kg(21 d of age) were used in a 6-wk trial to evaluate the effects of octacosanol and tiamulin supplementation on contents of triiodothyronine(T3),thyroxine(T4),growth hormone(GH),glucagon(GU) and adrenaline(AD) in blood and gene expressions of GLUT-4 and AMPK in liver and muscle. Piglets were randomly distributed into 3 dietary treatments on the basis of BW and sex. Each treatment had 7 replicate pens with 5 piglets per pen. Treatments were as followed: control group, tiamulin group and octacosanol group. The results showed that compared with control group and tiamulin group, octacosanol greatly promoted the secretion of T3, GH, GU and AD(P < 0.01) and significantly up-regulated the gene expressions of GLUT-4 and AMPK in muscle and liver tissues(P < 0.05). There was no significant difference between the control group and tiamulin group in T3, T4, GH,GU or AD(P> 0.05), Results of the present study has confirmed that octacosanol affects energy metabolism of body by regulating secretion of blood hormones and related gene expression in tissue of weaning piglets, which can reduce stress response and has an impact on performance. | Lei Long Shugeng Wu Jing Sun Jing Wang Haijun Zhang Guanghai Qi | 2015 | Animal Nutrition2015,,4: | 5
The microfacies and sedimentary responses to the mass extinction during the Permian-Triassic transition at Yangou Section, Jiangxi Province, South China显示文摘A Permian-Triassic(P-Tr) boundary section of continuous carbonate facies, which well recorded the biotic and environmental processes through the great P-Tr transition in the shallow non-microbialite carbonate facies, has been studied in Yangou, Leping County, Jiangxi Province. The P-Tr sequence is well correlated with the Meishan section according to the conodont biostratigraphy and the excursion of carbon isotopes. A series of high-resolution thin-sections from the P-Tr boundary carbonate rocks at the Yangou section are studied to explore the interrelation between environmental change and biological evolution during the transitional time. Six microfacies have been identified based upon the observation of the thin-sections under a microscope on the grains and matrix and their interrelation. Combined with the data of fossils and carbon isotopes, Microfacies 4(MF-4), coated-grain-bearing foraminifer oolitic sparitic limestone, and Microfacies 6(MF-6), dark shelly micritic limestone, should be the different responses to the two episodes of mass extinction and environmental events that can be correlated throughout South China and even over the world. The oolitic limestone of MF-4 is the first finding from the latest Permian strata in South China and it might be a proxy of an unusual environmental condition of high pCO2, low sulfate concentration and of microbial blooming in the aftermath of the latest Permian mass extinction. The micritic limestone of MF-6 containing rich micro-gastropods and ostracods probably represents the blooming event of disaster taxa in the earliest Triassic environment. The microfacies analysis at the Yangou section can well reveal the episodic process of the biological evolution and environmental change in the shallow non-microbialite carbonate facies throughout the great P-Tr transition, thus the Yangou section becomes an important complement to the Meishan section. | TIAN Li TONG JinNan SUN DongYing XIONG YanLin WANG ChengGang SONG HaiJun SONG HuYue HUANG YunFei | 2014 | Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,9: | 4
Multi-function radar emitter identification based on stochastic syntax-directed translation schema显示文摘To cope with the problem of emitter identification caused by the radar words' uncertainty of measured multi-function radar emitters, this paper proposes a new identification method based on stochastic syntax-directed translation schema(SSDTS). This method, which is deduced from the syntactic modeling of multi-function radars, considers the probabilities of radar phrases appearance in different radar modes as well as the probabilities of radar word errors occurrence in different radar phrases. It concludes that the proposed method can not only correct the defective radar words by using the stochastic translation schema, but also identify the real radar phrases and working modes of measured emitters concurrently. Furthermore, a number of simulations are presented to demonstrate the identification capability and adaptability of the SSDTS algorithm. The results show that even under the condition of the defective radar words distorted by noise, the proposed algorithm can infer the phrases, work modes and types of measured emitters correctly. | Liu Haijun Yu Hongqi Sun Zhaolin Diao Jietao | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2014,27,6: | 4
Arctic sea ice volume export through the Fram Strait from combined satellite and model data:1979–2012显示文摘By combing satellite-derived ice motion and concentration with ice thickness fields from a popular model PIOMAS we obtain the estimates of ice volume flux passing the Fram Strait over the 1979–2012 period. Since current satellite and field observations for sea ice thickness are limited in time and space, the use of PIOMAS is expected to fill the gap by providing temporally continued ice thickness fields. Calculated monthly volume flux exhibits a prominent annual cycle with the peak record in March(roughly 145 km3/month) and the trough in August(10 km^3/month). Annual ice volume flux(1 132 km^3) is primarily attributable to winter(October through May) outflow(approximately 92%). Uncertainty in annual ice volume export is estimated to be 55 km^3(or 5.7%). Our results also verified the extremely large volume flux appearing between late 1980 s and mid-1990 s. Nevertheless, no clear trend was found in our volume flux results. Ice motion is the primary factor in the determination of behavior of volume flux. Ice thickness presented a general decline trend may partly enhance or weaken the volume flux trend. Ice concentration exerted the least influences on modulating trends and variability in volume flux. Moreover, the linkage between winter ice volume flux and three established Arctic atmospheric schemes were examined. Compared to NAO, the DA and EOF3 mechanism explains a larger part of variations of ice volume flux across the strait. | ZHANG Zehua BI Haibo SUN Ke HUANG Haijun LIU Yanxia YAN Liwen | 2017 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2017,36,1: | 4
