1Sini powder ameliorates the inflammatory response in rats with stress-induced non-alcoholic fatty liver disease by inhibiting the nuclear factor kappa-B/pyrin domain-containing protein 3 pathway显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effectiveness of Sini powder for the treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) in rats and the molecular mechanisms involved.METHODS: A rat model of stress-induced NAFLD was established by a combination of long-term tethering and feeding of a high-fat, high-calorie diet. These rats were then intragastrically administered with either simvastatin, Sini powder, or vehicle for 1 week. The body mass and field test scores for each group were recorded weekly. Serum aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase activities, and triglyceride, total cholesterol,and free fatty acid concentrations were measured.Liver tissue histopathology was examined on hematoxylin and eosin-stained paraffin sections and oil red O-stained frozen sections. The hepatic m RNA expression of nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB),NOD-, LRR-, and pyrin domain-containing protein 3(NLRP3), apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing CARD(ASC), and caspase-1 were measured by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR). The hepatic protein concentrations of NF-κB and NLRP3, ASC, caspase-1, interleukin-1β(IL-1β), interleukin-6(IL-6), and the serum concentrations of IL-1β and IL-6 were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.RESULTS: Compared with the Blank group, rats in the Compound model group showed significant pathologic manifestations of NAFLD, and the expression of NF-κB, NLRP3, ASC, caspase-1, IL-1βand IL-6 were significantly higher(all P < 0.01). Both simvastatin and Sini powder significantly ameliorated the NAFLD pathology and the abnormal expression of NF-κB, NLRP3, ASC, caspase-1, IL-1β, and IL-6(all P < 0.01).CONCLUSION: Sini powder inhibits the inflamma-tory response in rats with NAFLD, which is mediated by NF-κB/NLRP3, IL-1β, and IL-6, reduces the effects of psychological stress, and improves lipid metabolism. 7Land use and land cover change processes in China's eastern Loess Plateau显示文摘Using Landsat remote sensing images, we analyzed changes in each land use type and transitions among different land use types during land use and land cover change(LUCC) in Ningwu County, located in the eastern Loess Plateau of China, from 1990 to 2010. We found that grassland, woodland, and farmland were the main land use types in the study area, and the area of each type changed slightly from 1990 to 2010, whereas the area of water, construction land, and unused land increased greatly. For the whole area, the net change and total change were insignificant due to weak human activity intensity in most of the study area, and the LUCC was dominated by quasi-balanced two-way transitions from 1990 to 2010. The insignificant overall amount of LUCC appears to have resulted from offsetting of rapid increases in population, economic growth, and the implementation of a program to return farmland to woodland and grassland in 2000. 9The Improved Simulated Annealing Algorithm and Application in the Surface Wave Dispersion Inversion显示文摘The velocity distribution of layers from surface wave dispersion curve is a severely nonlinear program. Base on the Metropolis rule,we improved the simulated annealing algorithm to simultaneously inverse the velocities and thicknesses using the dispersion data and identified the Moho and the bottom of lithosphere. The application to the numerical examples with 5% noise shows the velocity RMS is 1. 56% between the non-linear results and the original models when the condition of selecting method for temperature parameters and initial temperature are satisfied. Using the pure dispersions of Rayleigh wave,the nonlinear inversion has been carried out for S-wave velocities and thicknesses of the vertical profile crossing the Indian Plate,the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau,and the Tarim Basin. 12PVP-assisted preparation of nitrogen doped mesoporous carbon materials for supercapacitors显示文摘The rich porous structure,high surface area and surface doping make nitrogen doping mesoporous carbon materials(N-MPC)attractive in various areas,including adsorption separation,electrochemical energy storage,catalysis and other fields.Herein,polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)is introduced into the polymerization process of assembly of phenol/formaldehyde(PF)resin by means of hydrogen bonds and electrostatic interaction,which not only leads to the formation of uniform mesopores,but also leads to the increase of specific surface area and nitrogen doping.The amount of PVP and annealing temperature has no obvious effect on morphology,but subsequently has effect on the specific surface area and pore volume.When appropriate PVP dosage and annealing temperature are adopted,the obtained N-MPC shows abundant mesoporous,high surface area and suitable nitrogen doping.As electrode materials in supercapacitor,the N-MPC shows good performance with high capacitance good stability and rate performance,presenting its excellent promising in energy storage.Juan Du Aibing Chen Yue Zhang Shuang Zong Haixia Wu Lei Liu 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,58,23:0
13TBC1D15 deficiency protects against doxorubicin cardiotoxicity via inhibiting DNAPKcs cytosolic retention and DNA damage显示文摘Clinical application of doxorubicin(DOX)is heavily hindered by DOX cardiotoxicity.Several theories were postulated for DOX cardiotoxicity including DNA damage and DNA damage response(DDR),although the mechanism(s)involved remains to be elucidated.This study evaluated the potential role of TBC domain family member 15(TBC1D15)in DOX cardiotoxicity.Tamoxifen-induced cardiac-specific Tbcldi5 knockout(Tbcldi5^(CKO))or Tbcldi5 knockin(Tbcldi5^(CKI))male mice were challenged with a single dose of DOx prior to cardiac assessment 1 week or 4 weeks following DOX challenge.Adenoviruses encoding TBC1D15 or containing shRNA targeting Tbcld15 were used for Tbcld15 overexpression or knockdown in isolated primary mouse cardiomyocytes.Our results re-vealed that DOX evoked upregulation of TBC1D15 with compromised myocardial function and overt mortality,the effects of which were ameliorated and accentuated by Tbcldi5 deletion and Tbcld15 overexpression,respectively.DOX overtly evoked apoptotic cell death,the effect of which was alleviated and exacerbated by Tbcld15 knockout and overexpression,respectively.Meanwhile,DOX provoked mitochondrial membrane potential collapse,oxidative stress and DNA damage,the effects of which were mitigated and exacerbated by Tbcld15 knockdown and overexpression,respectively.Further scrutiny revealed that TBC1D15 fostered cytosolic accumulation of the cardinal DDR element DNA-dependent protein kinase catalytic subunit(DNA-PKcs).Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry and coimmunoprecipitation denoted an interaction between TBCID15 and DNA-PKcs at the segment 594-624 of TBC1D15.Moreover,overexpression of TBC1D15 mutant(A594-624,deletion of segment 594-624)failed to elicit accentuation of DOX-induced cytosolic retention of DNA-PKcs,DNA damage and cardiomyocyte apoptosis by TBC1D15 wild type.However,Tbcld15 deletion ameliorated DOXinduced cardiomyocyte contractile anomalies,apoptosis,mitochondrial anomalies,DNA damage and cytosolic DNA-PKcs accumulation,which were canceled off by DNA-PKcs inhibition or ATM activation.Taken together,our findings denoted a pivotal role for TBCID15 in DOX-induced DNA damage,mitochondrial injury,and apoptosis possibly through binding with DNA-PKcs and thus gate-keeping its cytosolic retention,a route to accentuation of cardiac contractile dysfunction in DOX-induced cardiotoxicity.Wenjun Yu Haixia Xu Zhe Sun Yuxin Du Shiqun Sun Miyesaier Abudureyimu Mengjiao Zhang Jun Tao Junbo Ge Jun Ren Yingmei Zhang 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,12:0

15Joint User Association and Fair Scheduling for Dual Connectivity Heterogeneous Networks显示文摘Heterogeneous small cell network is one of the most effective solutions to overcome spectrum scarcity for the next generation of mobile networks.Dual connectivity(DC)can improve the throughput for each individual user by allowing concurrent access to two heterogeneous radio networks.In this paper,we propose a joint user association and fair scheduling algorithm(JUAFS)to deal with the resource allocation and load balancing issues for DC heterogeneous small cell networks.Considering different coverage sizes,numbers of users,and quality of experience characteristics of heterogeneous cells,we present a proportional fair scheduling for user association among cells and utilize interference graph to minimize the transmission conflict probability.Simulation results show the performance improvement of the proposed algorithm in spectrum efficiency and fairness comparing to the existing schemes.Haixia Cui Yongliang Du 2023China Communications2023,20,1:0
