3Human activity recognition based on HMM by improved PSO and event probability sequence显示文摘This paper proposes a hybrid approach for recognizing human activities from trajectories.First,an improved hidden Markov model(HMM) parameter learning algorithm,HMM-PSO,is proposed,which achieves a better balance between the global and local exploitation by the nonlinear update strategy and repulsion operation.Then,the event probability sequence(EPS) which consists of a series of events is computed to describe the unique characteristic of human activities.The analysis on EPS indicates that it is robust to the changes in viewing direction and contributes to improving the recognition rate.Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed approach is evaluated by data experiments on current popular datasets.Hanju Li Yang Yi Xiaoxing Li Zixin Guo 2013Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2013,24,3:3

8Upconverting nanoparticle-containing erythrocyte-sized hemoglobin microgels that generate heat,oxygen and reactive oxygen species for suppressing hypoxic tumors显示文摘Inspired by erythrocytes that contain oxygen-carrying hemoglobin(Hb)and that exhibit photo-driven activity,we introduce homogenous-sized erythrocyte-like Hb microgel(μGel)systems(5-6μm)that can(i)emit heat,(ii)supply oxygen,and(iii)generate reactive oxygen species(ROS;1O2)in response to near-infrared(NIR)laser irradiation.Hb μGels consist of Hb,bovine serum albumin(BSA),chlorin e6(Ce6)and erbium@lutetium upconverting nanoparticles(UCNPs;~35 nm)that effectively convert 808 nm NIR light to 660 nm visible light.These Hb μGels are capable of releasing oxygen to help generate sufficient reactive oxygen species(^(1)O_(2))from UCNPs/Ce6 under severely hypoxic condition upon NIR stimulation for efficient photodynamic activity.Moreover,the Hb μGels emit heat and increase surface temperature due to NIR light absorption by heme(iron protoporphyrin IX)and display photothermal activity.By changing the Hb/UCNP/Ce6 ratio and controlling the amount of NIR laser irradiation,it is possible to formulate bespoke Hb μGels with either photothermal or photodynamic activity or both in the context of combined therapeutic effect.These Hb μGels effectively suppress highly hypoxic 4T1 cell spheroid growth and xenograft mice tumors in vivo.Hanju Kim Johyun Yoon Hwang Kyung Kim Woo Tak Lee Nguyen Thi Nguyen Xuan Thien Le Eun-Hee Lee Eun Seong Lee Kyung Taek Oh Han-Gon Choi Yu Seok Youn 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,4:1

14Interactive effect of hot air roasting processes on the sensory property,allergenicity,and oil extraction of sesame(Sesamum indicum L.)seeds显示文摘Sesame seeds are a healthy food ingredient and an oil crop for sesame oil production;however,it has recently been recognized as an essential allergenic food by FAO/WHO.This research investigated the relationship between the hot air roasting process(at 120,150,and 180℃ for 10,20,and 30 min)and several quality attributes of sesame seeds since roasting is the key process for preparing sesame seeds for both consumption and oil production.The hot air process followed the central composite design.The changes of sesame in terms of color,sensory properties(odor,texture,color,and taste),allergenicity caused by oleosins(ses i 4 and ses i 5),as well as oil extraction and quality were monitored using a colorimeter,sensory evaluation panelists,ELISA,as well as oil yield and acid value,respectively.Roasting temperature influenced the product quality more than roasting time,although the two processing parameters significantly interacted with each other(P<0.001).Sensory evaluation indicated medium roasting generated attractive flavor,order,appearance,and crispy texture.Allergenicity was high in sesame seeds after high-temperature roasting,according to IgE binding capacity test.Sesame oil extraction was favored by high-temperature roasting,which,however,adversely affected the oil quality.The optimal roasting conditions were 150.5℃ for 15 min for optimized sesame seeds quality in terms of sensory properties and allergenicity,while roasting at 158℃ for 10 min was optimal for sesame oil production.The finding will benefit the sesame seed industry.Shudong He Tiange Pan Zuoyong Zhang Yanni Wu Hanju Sun Youshui Ma Yi Zhang 2023Grain & Oil Science and Technology2023,6,2:0

18Application of endoscopic mucosal advancement in the treatment of chronic anastomotic leakage:A case report显示文摘Anastomotic leakage is one of the most serious postoperative complications after colorectal surgery.A fistula or chronic sinus formation is one kind of anastomotic leakage.Most fistulas may heal after conservative treatment,but some patients will develop a chronic anastomotic leakage,which definitely requires elective surgery due to the formation of a sinus tract or an internal fistula.This study reports a case of an 88-year-old man with sigmoid colon cancer who developed a chronic anastomotic leakage after colorectal surgery.Endoscopic mucosal advancement combined with titanium clips was success-fully performed to close the fistula.The patient was discharged 12 days after the operation and resumed a normal diet 1 week after discharge.Endoscopic mucosal advancement could be an alternative choice for the treatment of chronic anastomotic leakage and can prevent a secondary surgery;however,good bowel preparation and strict inclusion criteria are required.Qunmin Wang Feixia Wang Saisai Wang Hanju Hua 2022Laparoscopic, Endoscopic and Robotic Surgery2022,5,3:0
19A microwell-based impedance sensor on an insertable microneedle for real-time in vivo cytokine detection显示文摘Impedance-based protein detection sensors for point-of-care diagnostics require quantitative specificity,as well as rapid or real-time operation.Furthermore,microfabrication of these sensors can lead to the formation of factors suitable for in vivo operation.Herein,we present microfabricated needle-shaped microwell impedance sensors for rapid-sample-to-answer,label-free detection of cytokines,and other biomarkers.The microneedle form factor allows sensors to be utilized in transcutaneous or transvascular sensing applications.In vitro,experimental characterization confirmed sensor specificity and sensitivity to multiple proteins of interest.Mechanical characterization demonstrated sufficient microneedle robustness for transcutaneous insertion,as well as preserved sensor function postinsertion.We further utilized these sensors to carry out real-time in vivo quantification of human interleukin 8(hIL8)concentration levels in the blood of transgenic mice that endogenously express hIL8.To assess sensor functionality,hIL8 concentration levels in serum samples from the same mice were quantified by ELISA.Excellent agreement between real-time in vivo sensor readings in blood and subsequent ELISA serum assays was observed over multiple transgenic mice expressing hIL8 concentrations from 62 pg/mL to 539 ng/mL.Naixin Song Pengfei Xie Wen Shen Hanju Oh Yejia Zhang Flavia Vitale Mehdi Javanmard Mark G.Allen 2021Microsystems & Nanoengineering2021,7,6:0
20Study on Factors Influencing the Quality of Automatic Monitoring Data of Pollution Sources and Technical Assurance Measures显示文摘Automatic monitoring data of pollution sources is an important basis for environmental supervision and management.At present,it is difficult to guarantee the quality of automatic monitoring data of pollution sources,and it is difficult to play the role of the monitoring data.In response to this problem,the factors influencing the quality of automatic monitoring data of pollution sources were analyzed in detail,and technical assurance measures for the quality of automatic monitoring data of pollution sources in Shandong Province were studied.Besides,the dynamic management and control idea of automatic monitoring of pollution sources was proposed,and specific technical measures were analyzed from five aspects of standardizing automatic monitoring equipment of pollution sources,improving the data collection and transmission system,establishing a mechanism for reporting operating status information of monitoring equipment,setting alarm rules and alarm processing procedures,and statistically analyzing the operating status of the equipment.Practice has proved that the dynamic management and control system can effectively ensure the quality of automatic monitoring data of pollution sources.Hanju BAO Yun WU Chengxin PAN 2021Meteorological and Environmental Research2021,12,6:0
