1Effect of combined medicated thread moxibustion plus needle picking therapy of Zhuang nationality medicine on antioxidant levels in a rat model of sciatica显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect and underlying mechanisms of combined medicated thread moxibustion therapy plus needle picking therapy of Zhuang nationality medicine on antioxidant levels in a rat model of sciatica.METHODS: One hundred Wistar rats, of specific pathogen free level, were randomly divided into five groups: normal control group, model group,medicated thread moxibustion group, needle picking group, and combination group. Each group contained 20 rats. In the model, medicated thread moxibustion, needle picking, and combination groups,sciatica models were established through chronicconstriction injury of the sciatic nerve. After the model was established, the rats in the medicated thread moxibustion, needle picking, and combination groups were given the corresponding therapies for 21 days. The control and model groups received no treatment. Reactive oxygen species, superoxide dismutase, malondialdehyde, and total antioxidant capacity changes were determined.Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate(NADPH) oxidase subunit NADPH oxidases 4(NOX4) m RNA expression and the morphology of cells were observed to detect apoptosis of gamma-aminobutyric acid ergic(GABAergic) neurons.RESULTS: Compared with control group, reactive oxygen species and malondialdehyde levels rose significantly in the model group(P < 0.01), while superoxide dismutase and total antioxidant capacity levels were lowered(P < 0.05). Compared with the model group, reactive oxygen species and malondialdehyde decreased in the needle picking group(P < 0.05), while superoxide dismutase levels were increased(P < 0.05); reactive oxygen species and malondialdehyde significantly decreased in the combination group(P < 0.01). In addition, the model group had higher NOX4 m RNA expression than that of the control group(P < 0.05), and the combination group had lower expression levels than that of the model group(P < 0.05). Apoptosis of GABAergic neurons was observed in the model group, and was attenuated after combined therapy.CONCLUSION: The medicated thread moxibustion therapy plus needle picking therapy of Zhuang nationality medicine can prevent oxidative damage in the rat model of sciatica via down-regulating NOX4 expression, improving antioxidant capacity, and in-hibiting the oxidative damage pathway of GABAergic neurons.Tang Hanqing Zheng Jianyu Li Tianzi Li Keming Li Xiaohua Dou Xibin Huang Chunchuan Liang Ye 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,6:4
2Transmission line fault-cause identification method for large-scale new energy grid connection scenarios显示文摘The accurate fault-cause identification for overhead transmission lines supports the operation and maintenance personnel in formulating targeted maintenance strategies and shortening the time of inspecting faulty lines.With the goal of achieving“carbon peak and carbon neutrality”,the schemes for clean energy generation have rapidly developed.Moreover,new energy-consuming equipment has been widely connected to the power grid,and the operating characteristics of the power system have significantly changed.Consequently,these have impacted traditional fault identification methods.Based on the time-frequency characteristics of the fault waveform,new energy-related parameters,and deep learning model,this study proposes a fault identification method suitable for scenarios where a high proportion of new energy is connected to the power grid.Ten parameters related to the causes of transmission line fault and new energy connection scenarios are selected as model characteristic parameters.Further,a fault identification model based on adaptive deep belief networks was constructed,and its effect was verified by field data.Hanqing Liang Xiaonan Han Haoyang Yu Fan Li Zhongjian Liu Kexin Zhang 2022Global Energy Interconnection2022,5,4:3
3Double Position Servo Synchronous Drive System Based on Cross-Coupling Integrated Feedforward Control for Broacher显示文摘Synchronization errors directly deteriorate the machining accuracy of metal parts and the existed method cannot keep high synchronization precision because of external disturbances. A new double position servo synchronous driving scheme based on semi-closed-loop crosscoupling integrated feedforward control is proposed. The scheme comprises a position error cross-coupling feedforward control and a load torque identification with feedforward control. A digital integrated simulation system for the dual servo synchronous drive system is established.Using a 20 t servo broacher, performance analysis of the scheme is conducted based on this simulation system and the simulation results show that systems with traditional parallel or single control have problems when the worktable works with an unbalanced load. However, the system with proposed scheme shows good synchronous performance and positional accuracy. Broaching tests are performed and the experimental results show that the maximum dual axis synchronization error of the system is only 8 μm during acceleration and deceleration processes and the error between the actual running position and the given position is almost zero. 4The impact of the atmospheric turbulence-development tendency on new particle formation:a common finding on three continents显示文摘A new mechanism of new particle formation(NPF)is investigated using comprehensive measurements of aerosol physicochemical quantities and meteorological variables made in three continents,including Beijing,China;the Southern Great Plains site in the USA;and SMEARⅡStation in Hyytiala,Finland.D espite the considerably different emissions of chemical species among the sites,a common relationship was found between the characteristics of NPF and the stability intensity.The stability parameter(ζ=Z/L,where Z is the height above ground and L is the Monin-Obukhov length)is found to play an important role;it drops significantly before NPF as the atmosphere becomes more unstable,which may serve as an indicator of nucleation bursts.As the atmosphere becomes unstable,the NPF duration is closely related to the tendency for turbulence development,which influences the evolution of the condensation sink.Presumably,the unstable atmosphere may dilute pre-existing particles,effectively reducing the condensation sink,especially at coarse mode to foster nucleation.This new mechanism is confirmed by model simulations using a molecular dynamic model that mimics the impact of turbulence development on nucleation by inducing and intensifying homogeneous nucleation events.Hao Wu Zhanqing Li Hanqing Li Kun Luo Yuying Wang Peng Yan Fei Hu Fang Zhang Yele Sun Dongjie Shang Chunsheng Liang Dongmei Zhang Jing Wei Tong Wu Xiaoai Jin Xinxin Fan Maureen Cribb Marc L.Fischer Markku Kulmala Tuukka Petaja 2021National Science Review2021,8,3:2
5Impact of Taihu Lake on City Ozone in the Yangtze River Delta显示文摘The lake-breeze at Taihu Lake generates a different specific heat capacity between the water body and the surrounding land. Taihu Lake has a significant impact on the atmospheric conditions and the air quality in the Yangtze River Delta. This phenomenon is referred to as the Taihu Lake effect. In this study, two simulations were conducted to determine the impact of the Taihu Lake effect in the reference experiment(R-E) and sensitivity experiments(NO TH). The control simulations demonstrated that the meteorological field and the spatial distribution of ozone(O3) concentrations over Taihu lake obviously changed once the land-use type of water body was substituted by cropland. The surface temperature of Taihu Lake was reduced under the impact of Taihu Lake, and a huge temperature difference caused a strong lake-breeze effect. The results also showed that the difference in the average concentrations of O3 between the R-E and NO TH experiments reached 12 ppbv in most areas of Taihu Lake, all day, on 20 May 2014. During daytime(0800–1600 LST, LST=UTC+8), the influence of the Taihu Lake effect on O3 in the Suzhou region was not significant. However, the influence of the Taihu Lake effect on O3 in the Suzhou region was obvious during nighttime(1800–2400 LST). 7Growing Knowledge of Stem Cells as a Novel Experimental Model in Developmental Toxicological Studies显示文摘The increasing production and extensive application of chemicals have led to their unintended release and contamination in the environment,posing a hazardous threat to wildlife and human health.Numerous studies have demonstrated that developmental toxicity could be induced by various emerging chemicals,causing abnormal embryonic and placental development,adverse pregnancy outcomes,obesity,and dysfunction of lipid metabolism in neonates.Given the currently-available experimental technology for developmental toxicological studies,an in vitro model based on stem cells showed promising performance in high-throughput screening of the early-stage developmental toxicity of emerging chemicals.In this review,the deleterious effects of environmental pollutants on stem cells were systemically assorted from the aspects of cytological dysfunction,self-renewal impairment,perturbation in embryoid body(EB)formation,and disruption of committed lineage differentiation.The toxicological data on the molecular level,including the altered expressions of gene and protein biomarkers,epigenomic regulation,and enhanced oxidative stress,were collected and summarized to provide the mechanism explanation for the link between environmental pollutant exposure and unfavorable phenotypes in stem cells.The advantage of the stem cell model in developmental toxicological studies was specifically emphasized.And the perspectives for stem cells were ultimately highlighted in the research field of environmental toxicology,especially developmental toxicology during the early stage of life.REN Zhihua KU Tingting REN Mengyao LIANG Jiefeng NING Xia XU Hanqing REN Danqin ZHOU Qunfang SANG Nan 2023Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,3:0
8Penetrating power characteristics of half-wavelength AC transmission in point-to-grid system显示文摘With the proposed concept of global energy interconnection, half-wavelength alternating current transmission(HWACT) technology becomes of more interest.HWACT lines can be adopted to establish a pointto-grid system, in which the penetrating power(PP) is produced between receiving terminals, having a significant effect on the power flow distribution.In order to investigate this phenomenon, the PP characteristics of the HWACT system are researched in this paper.First, the mathematical relationship between the transmission power and terminal bus voltages of a single HWACT line is derived using the equations of a distributed parameter model.The research indicates that the relationship between power and terminal voltages shows ‘‘reverse characteristics'opposite to those of regular short transmission lines.Then, the concept and definition of PP in a point-to-grid system with two receiving terminals are proposed, and the corresponding relationship between PP and the terminal bus voltages is derived.Simulations are carried out to validate the theory under different conditions, so that the accuracy and adaptiveness of the theoretical analysis can be proved.In addition, the results demonstrate that selecting the location for a HWACT system has demanding requirements in order to control the value of PP.Hanqing LIANG Yadong LIU Lei WAN Gehao SHENG Xiuchen JIANG 2019Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2019,7,1:0
