| 2 | Three-dimensional analytical solution for a transversely isotropic functionally graded piezoelectric circular plate subject to a uniform electric potential difference显示文摘This paper studies the problem of a functionally graded piezoelectric circular plate subjected to a uniform electric potential difference between the upper and lower surfaces. By assuming the generalized displacements in appropriate forms,five differential equations governing the generalized displacement functions are derived from the equilibrium equations. These displacement functions are then obtained in an explicit form,which still involve four undetermined integral constants,through a step-by-step integration which properly incorporates the boundary conditions at the upper and lower surfaces. The boundary conditions at the cylindrical surface are then used to determine the integral constants. Hence,three-dimen sional analytical solutions for electrically loaded functionally graded piezoelectric circular plates with free or simply-supported edge are completely determined. These solutions can account for an arbitrary material variation along the thickness,and thus can be readily degenerated into those for a homogenous plate. | 5 | A novel-green adsorbent based on betaine-modified magnetic nanoparticles for removal of methyl blue显示文摘A potential adsorbent based on betaine-modified magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles(BMNPs) was successfully synthesized by facile method, characterized and applied for methyl blue(MB) removal from aqueous solution. The characterization results of FTIR, transmission electron microscopy(TEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM) showed that the prepared nanoparticles could be well dispersed in water and exhibited excellent superparamagnetism. These properties imply the potential to recycle BMNPs from wastewater through magnetic field. In the adsorption process, the effects of main experimental parameters such as p H of MB solution, initial concentration of MB, contact time, and adsorption capacity for MB were studied and optimized. These results demonstrated that large amounts of quaternary ammonium groups existing on the surface of BMNPs could promote absorption of MB via electrostatic forces. Additionally, the adsorption kinetics of MB was found to follow a pseudosecond-order kinetic model and the adsorption equilibrium data fitted very closely to the Langmuir adsorption isotherm model. The maximum adsorption capacity for MB was calculated to be 136 mg g 1at room temperature. | 12 | Grain boundary character and stress corrosion cracking behavior of Co-Cr alloy fabricated by selective laser melting显示文摘In this work,we used the selective laser melting(SLM)fabricated Co-Cr alloy with prominent residual strain,extremely non-equilibrium microstructures,and low stacking fault energy as a precursor to fabricate materials with the optimal grain boundary character distribution.The grain boundary engineering(GBE)of the Co-Cr alloy was achieved by a simple heat treatment of the SLM-fabricated Co-Cr alloy.The obtained GBE Co-Cr alloy exhibited 81.47%of special grain boundaries(∑3^(n)n=1,2,3),while it substantially disrupted the connectivity of the random high-angle boundaries,successfully reducing the propensity of intergranular degradation.Slow strain rate tests(SSRTs)showed that the GBE Co-Cr alloy possessed lower stress corrosion cracking(SCC)susceptibility and higher ductility in the corrosive environment(0.9%Na Cl solution)than in the air.The high fraction of special boundaries,coupled with the stress-induced martensitic transformation(SIMT)in the GBE Co-Cr alloy yielded these results,which unique and rarely simultaneously satisfied for common structural materials.The current'SLM induced GBE strategy'offers a novel approach towards customized GBE materials with high SCC resistance and ductility in the corrosive environment,shedding new light on developing high-performance structural materials. | Xin Dong Ning Li Yanan Zhou Huabei Peng Yuntao Qu Qi Sun Haojiang Shi Rui Li Sheng Xu Jiazhen Yan | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,34: | 1 |
