1A high-quality Actinidia chinensis(kiwifruit)genome显示文摘Actinidia chinensis(kiwifruit)is a perennial horticultural crop species of the Actinidiaceae family with high nutritional and economic value.Two versions of the A.chinensis genomes have been previously assembled,based mainly on relatively short reads.Here,we report an improved chromosome-level reference genome of A.chinensis(v3.0),based mainly on PacBio long reads and Hi-C data.The high-quality assembled genome is 653 Mb long,with 0.76%heterozygosity.At least 43%of the genome consists of repetitive sequences,and the most abundant long terminal repeats were further identified and account for 23.38%of our novel genome.It has clear improvements in contiguity,accuracy,and gene annotation over the two previous versions and contains 40,464 annotated protein-coding genes,of which 94.41%are functionally annotated.Moreover,further analyses of genetic collinearity revealed that the kiwifruit genome has undergone two whole-genome duplications:one affecting all Ericales families near the K-T extinction event and a recent genus-specific duplication.The reference genome presented here will be highly useful for further molecular elucidation of diverse traits and for the breeding of this horticultural crop,as well as evolutionary studies with related taxa.Haolin Wu Tao Ma Minghui Kang Fandi Ai Junlin Zhang Guanyong Dong Jianquan Liu 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:10
2A chromosome-scale genome assembly of Isatis indigotica,an important medicinal plant used in traditional Chinese medicine显示文摘Isatis indigotica(2n=14)is an important medicinal plant in China.Its dried leaves and roots(called Isatidis Folium and Isatidis Radix,respectively)are broadly used in traditional Chinese medicine for curing diseases caused by bacteria and viruses such as influenza and viral pneumonia.Various classes of compounds isolated from this species have been identified as effective ingredients.Previous studies based on transcriptomes revealed only a few candidate genes for the biosynthesis of these active compounds in this medicinal plant.Here,we report a high-quality chromosome-scale genome assembly of I.indigotica with a total size of 293.88 Mb and scaffold N50=36.16 Mb using single-molecule real-time long reads and high-throughput chromosome conformation capture techniques.We annotated 30,323 highconfidence protein-coding genes.Based on homolog searching and functional annotations,we identified many candidate genes involved in the biosynthesis of main active components such as indoles,terpenoids,and phenylpropanoids.In addition,we found that some key enzyme-coding gene families related to the biosynthesis of these components were expanded due to tandem duplications,which likely drove the production of these major active compounds and explained why I.indigotica has excellent antibacterial and antiviral activities.Our results highlighted the importance of genome sequencing in identifying candidate genes for metabolite synthesis in medicinal plants.Minghui Kang Haolin Wu Qiao Yang Li Huang Quanjun Hu Tao Ma Zaiyun Li Jianquan Liu 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:9
3MicroRNA-132 in the Adult Dentate Gyrus is Involved in Opioid Addiction Via Modifying the Differentiation of Neural Stem Cells显示文摘MicroRNA-132(miR-132), a small RNA that regulates gene expression, is known to promote neurogenesis in the embryonic nervous system and adult brain.Although exposure to psychoactive substances can increase miR-132 expression in cultured neural stem cells(NSCs)and the adult brain of rodents, little is known about its role in opioid addiction. So, we set out to determine the effect of miR-132 on differentiation of the NSCs and whether this effect is involved in opioid addiction using the rat morphine self-administration(MSA) model. We found that miR-132 overexpression enhanced the differentiation of NSCs in vivo and in vitro. Similarly, speci?c overexpression of miR-132 in NSCs of the adult hippocampal dentate gyrus(DG) during the acquisition stage of MSA potentiated morphine-seeking behavior. 4Improved thermal stability and infrared emissivity of high-entropy REMgAl_(11)O_(19)and LaMAl_(11)O_(19)(RE=La,Nd,Gd,Sm,Pr,Dy;M=Mg,Fe,Co,Ni,Zn)显示文摘LaMgAl_(11)O_(19)(LMA),characterized by high melting point,low density and thermal conductivity as well as good infrared emissivity,is regarded as a potential candidate for the thermal protection of hypersonic vehicles.Nevertheless,the unsatisfied phase stability at high temperature results in declining of the emissivity below 6μm,which limits the extensive applications of LaMgAl_(11)O_(19).In order to overcome this obstacle,three dense bulk high-entropy ceramics,(La_(0.2)Nd_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Pr_(0.2))MgAl_(11)O_(19)(HE LMA-1),(La_(0.2)Nd_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Dy_(0.2))Mg Al_(11)O_(19)(HE LMA-2)and La(Mg_(0.2)Fe_(0.2)Co_(0.2)Ni_(0.2)Zn_(0.2))Al_(11)O_(19)(HE LMA-3),were designed and successfully prepared through solid state reaction at 1700℃for 4 h in one step.XRD analyses show that the phase compositions of HE LMA-1,HE LMA-2 and HE LMA-3 are single-phase solid solutions with the relative density of 95.61%,95.49%and 94.31%,respectively.Heat treatment experiments demonstrate that the phase composition of HE LMA-1 remains a single phase after high-temperature heating,while second phase appears in other two samples.The stability of HE LMA-1 is attributed to small average size differenceδ(~4%)of constitute elements.Intriguingly,the average emissivity of HE LMA-1 in the range of 3-6μm reaches 0.9,which is significantly higher than that of LMA and other two HE LMA samples.The emissivity of all samples remains above 0.95 from 6 to 10μm.In the far infrared region(10-14μm),although the emissivity of these specimens decreases slightly,it still exceeds 0.85.The UV-Vis absorption spectra indicate that the formation of many discrete impurity energy levels with small intervals in HE LMA-1 promotes the f electrons to transit between adjacent impurity energy levels and conduction band,which enhances the infrared emission of HE LMA-1 below 6μm.In a word,with improved phase stability and thermal emissivity in infrared range,high-entropy REMgAl_(11)O_(19),especially(La_(0.2)Nd_(0.2)Gd_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Pr_(0.2))MgAl_(11)O_(19)(HE LMA-1),is a promising candidate in thermal protection coatings of hypersonic vehicles.Haolin Zhu Ling Liu Huimin Xiang Fu-Zhi Dai Xiaohui Wang Zhuang Ma Yanbo Liu Yanchun Zhou 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,9:3
5Pervasive hybridization during evolutionary radiation of Rhododendron subgenus Hymenanthes in mountains of southwest China显示文摘Radiations are especially important for generating species biodiversity in mountainous ecosystems.The contribution of hybridization to such radiations has rarely been examined.Here,we use extensive genomic data to test whether hybridization was involved in evolutionary radiation within Rhododendron subgenus Hymenanthes,whose members show strong geographic isolation in the mountains of southwest China.We sequenced genomes for 143 species of this subgenus and 93 species of four other subgenera,and found that Hymenanthes was monophyletic and radiated during the late Oligocene to middle Miocene.Widespread hybridization events were inferred within and between the identified clades and subclades.This suggests that hybridization occurred both early and late during diversification of subgenus Hymenan thes,although the extent to which hybridization,speciation through mixing-isolation-mixing or hybrid speciation,accelerated the diversification needs further exploration.Cycles of isolation and contact in such and other montane ecosystems may have together promoted species radiation through hybridization between diverging populations and species.Similar radiation processes may apply to other montane floras in this region and elsewhere.Yazhen Ma Xingxing Mao Ji Wang Lei Zhang Yuanzhong Jiang Yuying Geng Tao Ma Liming Cai Shuangquan Huang Pete Hollingsworth Kangshan Mao Minghui Kang Yiling Li Wenlu Yang Haolin Wu Yang Chen Charles C.Davis Nawal Shrestha Richard H.Ree Zhenxiang Xi Quanjun Hu Richard I.Milne Jianquan Liu 2022National Science Review2022,9,12:1

7Investigations on MBSE modelling and dynamic performance assessment of an electrical trimmable horizontal stabilizer actuator显示文摘With the development of power-by-wire technology for more electric aircraft,the electromechanical actuator(EMA)has the advantages to replace the conventional hydraulic servo actuator in some aerospace flight controls.Conventional hydraulically powered trimmable horizontal stabilizer actuation(THSA)system is nowadays developed to be electrically supplied.Given their safety-criticality,no-back mechanism and redundant load paths are utilized to meet the flight control requirements.However,rare literatures have introduced these functions and addressed the virtual prototyping activities from system-level point of view.This paper proposed such a model of a THSA system with dual electric power sources and fault-tolerant mechanical load paths.The nonlinear effects of components are considered with realism,and system-level simulation test is conducted to support the model-based system engineering(MBSE)approach.The models are developed with a power view instead of a pure signal view.Focusing on the friction effect and compliance effect with backlash or preload,some improved and novel approaches are adopted for these crucial components and validated via experimental results.Meanwhile,the implemented systemlevel model enables injection of crucial faults.Finally,the simulation of the proposed model shows that it is an efficient resource to investigate the actuator’s dynamic performance,to virtually prove that the actuator meets the fail/safe constraint,and to demonstrate the soundness of the fault monitoring functions.Wensen ZHANG Jian FU Jean-Charles MARÉ Haolin MA Tianxiang XIA Yongling FU Jiangao ZHAO 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,11:0
8Sulfurized hematite for photo-Fenton catalysis显示文摘A hematite/amorphous sulfur composite was prepared via simple heating hematite and α-sulfur in Teflon-lined autoclave at low temperature. The composite was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), Raman spectrum,Thermal Gravity Analysis(TGA), Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The results revealed that an allotrope sulfur at 5-37% weight percent was found in the composite.After sulfuration, S_n^(2-) or S_2^(2-) was doped in the lattice of hematite, large amounts of OH and SO_4 were adsorbed on the surface of hematite. Hematite/amorphous sulfur composite had superior photo-Fenton activities than pure hematite. This work also demonstrated that amorphous sulfur also had the activity of photo-Fenton catalysis. OH^-and SO_4 radicals facilitated dye adsorption and acted as a bridge to link H_2 O_2. 9Promotion of catalytic activity for methanol electro-oxidation on CoPc-Pt/C co-catalysts显示文摘The catalytic activity for methanol electro-oxidation on CoPc-Pt/C co-catalysts, prepared by impregna-tion method, was studied in details through electrochemical methods. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) result demonstrates that CoPc has higher forward anodic peak current density and jf / jb value (forward anodic peak current density/backward anodic peak current density) than Pt/C. Chronoamperometry (CA) analysis indicates that CoPc-Pt/C exhibits both excellent transient current density and stable current density for methanol electro-oxidation compared with Pt/C. Two main mechanisms related to the pro-motion of catalytic activity are as follows: CoPc-Pt/C has the activity of tolerance to carbonaceous in-termediates, thus inhibiting the self-poisoning of catalysts; CoPc-Pt/C owns prominent intrinsic cata-lytic activity indicated by the apparent activation energy for methanol oxidation on CoPc-Pt/C, which is 18 kJ/mol, less than that on Pt and PtRu catalysts as reported.WU JingJie XU YiMin PAN Mu MA WenTao TANG HaoLin 2009Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,6:0
10Wet-milling synthesis of immobilized Pt/Ir nanoclusters as promising heterogeneous catalysts显示文摘Being a typical state of the art heterogeneous catalyst,supported noble metal catalyst often demonstrates enhanced catalytic properties.However,a facile synthetic method for realizing large-scale and low-cost supported noble metal catalyst is strictly indispensable.To this end,by making use of the strong metal-support interaction(SMSI)and mechanochemical reaction,we introduce an efficient synthetic route to obtain ultrafine Pt and Ir nanoclusters immobilized on diverse substrates by wet chemical milling.We further demonstrate the scaling-up effect of our approach by large-scale ball-milling production of Pt nanoclusters immobilized on TiO_(2)substrate.The synthesized Pt/Ir@Co_(3)O_(4)catalysts exhibit superior oxygen evolution reaction(OER)performance with only 230 and 290 mV overpotential to achieve current density of 10 and 100 mA·cm^(-2),beating the catalytic performance of Co_(3)O_(4)supported Pt or Ir clusters and commercial Ir/C.It is envisioned that the present work strategically directs facile ways for fabricating supported noble metal heterogeneous catalysts.Peng Du Kai Huang Xiaoyuan Fan Jingteng Ma Naveed Hussain Ruyue Wang Bohan Deng Binghui Ge Haolin Tang Ru Zhang Ming Lei Hui Wu 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:0

12MXene/PPy@PDMS sponge-based flexible pressure sensor for human posture recognition with the assistance of a convolutional neural network in deep learning显示文摘The combination of flexible sensors and deep learning has attracted much attention as an efficient method for the recognition of human postures.In this paper,an in situ polymerized MXene/polypyrrole(PPy)composite is dip-coated on a polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)sponge to fabricate an MXene/PPy@PDMS(MPP)piezoresistive sensor.The sponge sensor achieves ultrahigh sensitivity(6.8925 kPa^(−1))at 0-15 kPa,a short response/recovery time(100/110 ms),excellent stability(5000 cycles)and wash resistance.The synergistic effect of PPy and MXene improves the performance of the composite materials and facilitates the transfer of electrons,making the MPP sponge at least five times more sensitive than sponges based on each of the individual single materials.The large-area conductive network allows the MPP sensor to maintain excellent electrical performance over a large-scale pressure range.The MPP sensor can detect a variety of human body activity signals,such as radial artery pulse and different joint movements.The detection and analysis of human motion data,which is assisted by convolutional neural network(CNN)deep learning algorithms,enable the recognition and judgment of 16 types of human postures.The MXene/PPy flexible pressure sensor based on a PDMS sponge has broad application prospects in human motion detection,intelligent sensing and wearable devices.Hui Xia Lin Wang Hao Zhang Zihu Wang Liang Zhu Haolin Cai Yanhua Ma Zhe Yang Dongzhi Zhang 2023Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,6:0
