| 6 | QTL Detection for Albinism-Related Loci in Chinese Tongue Sole(Cynoglossus semilaevis)显示文摘The Chinese tongue sole(Cynoglossus semilaevis) is widely cultured in the coastal region of East Asia and has excellent economic value. However, the high albino rate of the breeding population has caused a significant loss to the aquaculture industry. To study the molecular mechanism of albinism, the present study used an albino Chinese tongue sole family to construct three simple sequence repeat(SSR) linkage groups, and draft a preliminary linkage map related to albinism. After albinism-related loci mapping, 18 albinism-related loci were detected under two models(containing 2407 genes) compared to the Chinese tongue sole genome. One of these loci, the tyrosinase related protein(tyrp2), which has been reported previously as an important gene regulating both eumelanin and phaeomelanin levels, was indicated to be the possible cause of albinism. Thirty-five Gene Ontology(GO) terms and 14 Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genome pathways were annotated via bioinformatic analyses. One GO term with protein tyrosine kinase activity, which contained 10 genes, was previously suggested to affect fish albinism. | 9 | Synchronously constructing networked Si_(3)N_(4) nanowires and interconnected graphene inside carbon fiber composites for enhancing mechanical, friction and anti-ablation properties显示文摘Carbon fiber(C_(f))reinforced pyrolytic carbon(PyC)composites simultaneously possessing robust mechanical strength,excellent friction performances and outstanding anti-ablation properties are demanded for advanced aerospace applications.Efficient architecture design and optimization of composites are promi-nent yet remain high challenging for realizing the above requirements.Herein,binary reinforcements of networked silicon nitride nanowires(Si_(3)N_(4) nws)and interconnected graphene(GE)have been successfully constructed into C f/PyC by precursor impregnation-pyrolysis and chemical vapor deposition.Notably,net-worked Si_(3)N_(4) nws are uniformly distributed among the carbon fibers,while interconnected GE is firmly rooted on the surface of both networked Si_(3)N_(4) nws and carbon fibers.In the networked Si_(3)N_(4) nws and interconnected GE reinforced C_(f)/PyC,networked Si_(3)N_(4) nws significantly boost the cohesion strength of PyC,while GE markedly improves the interface bonding of both Si_(3)N_(4) nws/PyC and fiber/PyC.Benefiting from the synergistic reinforcement effect of networked Si_(3)N_(4) nws and interconnected GE,the C_(f)/PyC have a prominent enhancement in mechanical(shear and compressive strengths increased by 119.9% and 52.84%,respectively)and friction(friction coefficient and wear rate reduced by 25.40% and 60.10%,respectively)as well as anti-ablation(mass ablation rate and linear ablation rate decreased by 71.25% and 63.01%,respectively).This present strategy for networked Si_(3)N_(4) nws and interconnected GE reinforced C_(f)/PyC provides a dominant route to produce mechanically robust,frictionally resisting and ablatively resistant materials for use in advanced aerospace applications. | Yuming Chen Leilei Zhang Hongwen Nie Siqi Shao Hongchao Sheng Hejun Li | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,11: | 0 |
| 10 | 4-ELEMENT PLANAR ARRAY ANTENNA FOR UWB APPLICATION显示文摘A novel low-cost 4-element planar array antenna directly fed by a coaxial cable for Ultra-WideBand(UWB) application is presented. The proposed antenna consists of 2×2 bowtie elements and a simple 1:4 power divider feeding network. Compared to the basic bowtie element, the impedance bandwidth of the array antenna has a significant improvement that the low cut-off frequency is extended from 6 GHz of the bowtie element to 2 GHz.
