| 1 | Genetic analysis of 'all-fish' growth hormone gene transferred carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) and its F_1 generation显示文摘Recornbinant 'all-fish' growth hormone gene (GH) was microinjected into the fertilized eggs of carp. A comparison between the growth traits of transgenics and non-transgenics was carried out, and the transgenic individuals with significant 'fast-growing' effect were successfully gained. A comparison on the reproductivities was also given out between the transgenics and their non-transgenic siblings, and showed that the reproductive capacity of transgenics was substantially equivalent to those of the non-transgenics. On the other hand, the genetic separation and the characteristic distribution of the FI generation were genetically analyzed, which gave solid evidence for the hypothesis that 2-3 chromosomes are integrated with trans-gene. In addition, the distinct biological effects for multi-site-integrated transgenes were further discussed. | 2 | Construction and selection of the natural immune Fab antibody phage display library from patients with colorectal cancer显示文摘AIM: To construct the natural immune Fab antibody phage display libraries of colorectal cancer and to select antibodies related with colorectal cancer.METHODS: Extract total RNA from tissue of local cancer metastasis lymph nodes of patients with colorectal cancer.RT-PCR was used to amplify the heavy chain Fd and light chain к and the amplification products were inserted successively into the vector pComb3 to construct the human libraries of Fab antibodies. They were then panned by phage display technology. By means of Dot immunoblotting and ELISA, the libraries were identified and the Fab phage antibodies binding with antigens of colorectal cancer were selected.RESULTS: The amplified fragments of Fd and к gained by RT-PCR were about 650bp. Fd and к PCR products were subsequently inserted into the vector pComb3, resulting in a recombination rate of 40% and the volume of Fab phage display library reached 1.48 x 106. The libraries were enriched about 120-fold by 3 cycles of adsorption-elution- multiplication (panning). Dot immunoblotting showed Fab expressions on the phage libraries and ELISA showed 5clones of Fab phage antibodies which had binding activities with antigens of colorectal cancer.CONCLUSION: The natural immune Fab antibody phage display libraries of colorectal cancer were constructed. | 5 | Single nucleotide polymorphisms in chicken lmbr1 gene were associated with chicken growth and carcass traits显示文摘Lmbr1 is the key candidate gene controlling vertebrate limb development, but its effects on animal growth and carcass traits have never been reported. In this experiment, lmbr1 was taken as the candi-date gene affecting chicken growth and carcass traits. T/C and G/A mutations located in exon 16 and one A/C mutation located in intron 5 of chicken lmbr1 were detected from Silky, White Plymouth Rock broilers and their F2 crossing chickens by PCR-SSCP and sequencing methods. The analysis of vari-ance (ANOVA) results suggests that T/C polymorphism of exon 16 had significant association with eviscerated yield rate (EYR), gizzard rate (GR), shank and claw rate (SCR) and shank girth (SG); A/C polymorphism of intron 5 was significantly associated with SCR, liver rate and head-neck weight (HNW), while both sites had no significant association with other growth and carcass traits. | 6 | Hepatocyte differentiation of human fibroblasts from cirrhotic liver in vitro and in vivo显示文摘BACKGROUND:Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)and fibro-blasts have intimate relationships,and the phenotypic homology between fibroblasts and MSCs has been recently described.The aim of this study was to investigate the hepatic differentiating potential of human fibroblasts in cirrhotic liver. METHODS:The phenotypes of fibroblasts in cirrhotic liver were labeled by biological methods.After that,the differentiation potential of these fibroblasts in vitro was characterized in terms of liver-specific gene and protein expression.Finally,an animal model of hepatocyte regeneration in severe combined immunodeficient(SCID)mice was created by retrorsine injection and partial hepatectomy,and the expression of human hepatocyte proteins in SCID mouse livers was checked by immunohistochemical analysis after fibroblast administration. | 7 | Engineering Electronic Density and Coordination Environment of Mn–Nx Sites via Zn Cooperation for Quasi-Solid-State Zinc-Air Batteries显示文摘Due to the poor Fenton reactivity,single-atom Mn-based materials are generally identified as one of the most promising active catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Regulating the electronic density and coordination environment of atomically dispersed Mn centers is an effective strategy to enhance ORR activity of Mn-based materials.By introducing Zn sites,atomically dispersed Mn centers with multitudes of coordination(including Zn/Mn–Nx and Mn–Nx moieties)can be constructed to form Mn-based ORR catalyst(Zn/Mn-NC)with dual-atom sites.Around Mn–Nx sites,the Zn atoms can effectively modulate the electronic structure and coordination state of Mn centers in Zn/Mn-NC through d–d orbital coupling.The electronic interaction between Zn and Mn sites improves ORR activity,thereby optimizing the oxygen adsorption energy of Mn sites in Zn/Mn-NC and reducing the overall energy barrier.Zn/Mn-NC displays higher ORR half-wave potential than Pt/C(0.89 V vs 0.86 V).The quasi-solid-state zinc-air battery(ZAB)with Zn/Mn-NC as the cathode displayed excellent rechargeability,recyclability,and mechanical robustness.The strategy presented regulates the electronic density and coordination environment of singleatom Mn-based ORR catalysts in quasi-solid-state ZABs. | Daijie Deng Huixin Ma Suqin Wu Huan Wang Junchao Qian Jianchun Wu Huaming Li Cheng Yan Henan Li Li Xu | 2023 | Renewables2023,1,3: | 2 |

| 10 | Development of Transition Metal Nitrides as Oxygen and Hydrogen Electrocatalysts显示文摘With the increasing demand for energy, various emerging energy storage/conversion technologies have gradually penetrated human life, providing numerous conveniences. The practical application efficiency is often affected by the slow kinetics of hydrogen or oxygen electrocatalytic reactions(hydrogen evolution and oxidation reactions, oxygen evolution and reduction reactions) among the emerging devices. Therefore, the researchers devote to finding cost-effective electrocatalysts. Non-noble metal catalysts have low cost and good catalytic activity, but poor stability, agglomeration, dissolution, and other problems will occur after a long cycle, such as transition metal oxides and carbides. Transition metal nitrides(TMNs) stand out among all kinds of non-noble metal catalysts because of the intrinsic platinum-like electrocatalytic activities, relatively high conductivity, and wide range of tunability. In this review, the applications of TMNs in electrocatalytic fields are summarized based on the number of metals contained in TMNs. The practical application potentials of TMNs in fuel cell, water splitting, zinc-air battery and other electrochemical energy storage/conversion devices are also listed. Finally, the design strategies and viewpoints of TMNs-based electrocatalyst are summarized. Their compositions, bonding forms and properties were researched by means of elemental analysis, IR, UV Vis, 1H NMR spectra, thermal analysis and molar conductance. The free ligands which existed in the keto form coordinated to lead(Ⅱ) in the enol form to form neutral complexes. The molar ratio of the ligand to lead(Ⅱ) is 2∶1 and the thermal stability of the complex is higher than that of the corresponding ligand because of the formation of the stable chelate ring. | 13 | Studies on the Heredity of the Traits Related to the Photoperiod-Sensitive Phenomenon Among the Temperate ×Tropical Crosses in Maize显示文摘The genetic study of characters concerning photoperiod sensitivity of the growth and development stages, plant and ear height was carried out from 5 temperate tropical combinations by using P1, P2, F1,F2, BC1, BC2 generations mean analysis. The results showed that the square sums of additive, of dominance and of epistatic gene effects contributed to total genetic variance were 11.3 -53.6 %, 36.0 -78.6 % and 5.5 -27.0% respectively for five traits of the insensitive× insensitive combination to photoperiod, which suggested dominance gene effect was the most important among various gene effects. In insensitive × sensitive combination to photoperiod, the square sums of additive gene effect with 66.9 - 84.5 %, of dominance gene effect with 11.6 -30.7% and of epistatic gene effect with 1.4 -5.2% were found for five tested traits, which showed additive gene effect held a dominant position, and dominance and epistatic gene effects were reduced compared with insensitive× insensitive combination. The differences existed among different insensitive × sensitive combinations. The proportion of the genetic component among the insensitive × sensitive crossbreed offspring in the temperate zone had a certain dosage effect on fading photoperiod sensitivity reaction. On the basis of mine requirement and the theories of machine vision, an autonomous relative navigation algorithm for mine agent based on quaternion was proposed. In rotation transformation, this algorithm was represented by using quaternion. Because the Jacobi matrix of this method is lower than that of Hall algorithm, the calculation efficiency is improved by using this algorithm. The results of these experiments show that the computation burden of this algorithm based on quaternion is about half that of Hall algorithm. | 19 | Carrier behavior in the vicinity of pit defects in GaN characterized by ultraviolet light-assisted Kelvin probe force microscopy显示文摘Surface potentials in the vicinity of V-pits(cone bottom) and U-pits(blunt bottom) on epitaxial GaN surface have been systematically studied using ultraviolet(UV) light-assisted Kelvin probe force microscopy(KPFM). The band structure models are established to understand variation of the surface potentials at the pits and planar surface with and without UV light. The photo-generated carrier behavior at the pit defects is studied. According to the surface potential results, it can be deduced that the carrier distributions around the V-and U-pits are uneven. In dark, the electron concentration at the bottom of V-pit(30 n_0) and Upit(15 n_0) are higher than that at planar surface(n_0). Under UV light, for V-pit, the electron concentration at the cone bottom(4.93×10^(11) n_0) is lower than that at the surrounding planar surface(5.68×10^(13) n_0). For U-pit, the electron concentration at the blunt bottom is 1.35×10^(12) n_0, which is lower than that at the surrounding planar surface(6.13×10^(13) n_0). The non-equilibrium electron concentrations at different locations are calculated.
