1Forest canopy height mapping over China using GLAS and MODIS data显示文摘The Geoscience Laser Altimeter System(GLAS)accurately detects the vertical structural information of a target within its laser spot and is a promising system for the inversion of structural features and other biophysical parameters of forest ecosystems.Since the GLAS footprints are discontinuously distributed with a relativity low density,continuous vegetation height distributions cannot be mapped with a high accuracy using GLAS data alone.The MODIS BRDF product provides more forest structural information than other optical remote sensing data.This study aimed to map forest canopy heights over China from the GLAS and MODIS BRDF data.Firstly,the waveform characteristic parameters were extracted from the GLAS data by the method of wavelet analysis,and the terrain index was calculated using the ASTER GDEM data.Secondly,the model reducing the topographic influence was constructed from the waveform characteristic parameters and terrain index.Thirdly,the final canopy height estimation model was constructed from the neural network combining the canopy height estimated with the GLAS point and the MODIS BRDF data,and applied to get the continuous canopy height map over China.Finally,the map was validated by the measured data and the airborne Li DAR data,and the validation results indicated that forest canopy heights can be estimated with high accuracy from combined GLAS and MODIS data.YANG Ting WANG Cheng LI GuiCai LUO SheZhou XI XiaoHuan GAO Shuai ZENG HongCheng 2015Science China Earth Sciences2015,58,1:8
2Effects of nanoscale quantum dots in male Chinese loaches (Misgurnus anguillicaudatus):Estrogenic interference action,toxicokinetics and oxidative stress显示文摘Quantum dots (QDs) have received more and more attention as a novel example of nanocrystals due to their unique fluorescent characteristics. Recently, the toxicity and the potential environmental effects of QDs have become a research hotspot. In this work, in vivo endocrine disrupting effect, toxicokinetics and oxidative stress of QDs were characterized following the intraperitoneal dosing in Chinese loaches. Vitellogenin (Vtg) levels induced by E2 decreased significantly when administrated with the mixture of QDs and E2, which was consistent with the observations of histopathology in testes. The release of free Cd2+ from QDs and the non-specific adsorption of E2 by QDs might be the joint factors contributing to the inhibition of Vtg expression induced by E2 in the male Chinese loaches. In the muscle, bone, intestines, blood and testis, CdSe QDs reached the maximal concentration (Cmax) in approximately 1-h postinjection and subsequently presented downtrend with the prolonged time. Whereas, there were even increasing tendencies of CdSe QDs' concentrations in the liver and kidney. It is educible that CdSe QDs can be persistent at least for 7 days, indicating the overall half-life of CdSe QDs in the fish body is very long. The measurement of hepatic superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and reduced glutathione (GSH) content indicate that QDs have smaller effects on the antioxidative system of the organisms compared with free Cd2+ due to the effective prevention of the release of Cd by PEG coating of QDs. 5Fast and accurate visual odometry from a monocular camera显示文摘This paper aims at a semi-dense visual odometry system that is accurate,robust,and able to run realtime on mobile devices,such as smartphones,AR glasses and small drones.The key contributions of our system include:1)the modified pyramidal Lucas-Kanade algorithm which incorporates spatial and depth constraints for fast and accurate camera pose estimation;2)adaptive image resizing based on inertial sensors for greatly accelerating tracking speed with little accuracy degradation;and 3)an ultrafast binary feature description based directly on intensities of a resized and smoothed image patch around each pixel that is sufficiently effective for relocalization.A quantitative evaluation on public datasets demonstrates that our system achieves better tracking accuracy and up to about 2X faster tracking speed comparing to the state-of-the-art monocular SLAM system:LSD-SLAM.For the relocalization task,our system is 2.0X∼4.6X faster than DBoW2 and achieves a similar accuracy.Xin YANG Tangli XUE Hongcheng LUO Jiabin GUO 2019Frontiers of Computer Science2019,13,6:1
6A novel fractional uplink power control framework for self-organizing networks显示文摘Internet of things and network densification bring significant challenges to uplink management.Only depending on optimization algorithm enhancements is not enough for uplink transmission.To control intercell interference,Fractional Uplink Power Control(FUPC)should be optimized from network-wide perspective,which has to find a better traffic distribution model.Conventionally,traffic distribution is geographic-based,and ineffective due to tricky locating efforts.This paper proposes a novel uplink power management framework for Self-Organizing Networks(SON),which firstly builds up pathloss-based traffic distribution model and then makes the decision of FUPC based on the model.PathLoss-based Traffic Distribution(PLTD)aggregates traffic based on the propagation condition of traffic that is defined as the pathloss between the position generating the traffic and surrounding cells.Simulations show that the improvement in optimization efficiency of FUPC with PLTD can be up to 40%compared to conventional GeoGraphic-based Traffic Distribution(GGTD).Zezhou Luo Hongcheng Zhuang 2023Digital Communications and Networks2023,9,6:0
7Multifunctional properties of a polar spin chain compound[N(C_(3)H_(7))_(4)][Cu(C_(8)H_(4)NO_(4))]·H_(2)O exhibiting both one-dimensional magnetism and nonlinear optical activity显示文摘Functional materials with multiple properties are urgent to be explored to reach high requirements for applications nowadays.In this work,a new multifunctional one-dimensional(1D)chain compound[N(C_(3)H_(7))_(4)][Cu(ohpma)]·H_(2)O 1(ohpma=deprotonated N-(2-hydoxyphenyl)oxamic acid)exhibiting both 1D antiferromagnetic and nonlinear optical properties,which are both originated from the same polar[Cu(C_(8)H_(4)NO_(4))]magnetic units,has been successfully synthesized by evaporation at room temperature.Bis-polydentate nature of the(ohpma)3−ligand with constrained tridentate and bidentate coordination sites conducts Cu^(2+)ions coordinating in different geometries and forms 1D chains along the c axis,which are further separated by the[N(C_(3)H_(7))_(4)]+cations.And the 1D magnetic chains further exhibit noncentrosymmetric polar arrangement.Nonlinear optical study shows polar compound 1 exhibits a discernible second-harmonic generation(SHG)efficiency and the calculation of the partial density of states indicates that the SHG efficiency of 1 is mainly originated from the polar[Cu(C_(8)H_(4)NO_(4))]magnetic units.Moreover,magnetic susceptibility shows a broad maximum around 70 K with strong intrachain interaction of J/k B=−113.0 K but no long-range order is observed down to 2 K,suggesting that 1 shows a good 1D magnetism.Both good 1D magnetism and SHG activity suggest that 1 could be as a potential multifunctional material,particularly.Ang Li Yanhong Wang Haotian Tian Alimujiang Yalikun Yves Journaux Min Luo Hongcheng Lu 2024Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,2:0
8Stretchable and anti-impact iontronic pressure sensor with an ultrabroad linear range for biophysical monitoring and deep learning-aided knee rehabilitation显示文摘Monitoring biophysical signals such as body or organ movements and other physical phenomena is necessary for patient rehabilitation.However,stretchable flexible pressure sensors with high sensitivity and a broad range that can meet these requirements are still lacking.Herein,we successfully monitored various vital biophysical features and implemented in-sensor dynamic deep learning for knee rehabilitation using an ultrabroad linear range and highsensitivity stretchable iontronic pressure sensor(SIPS).We optimized the topological structure and material composition of the electrode to build a fully stretching on-skin sensor.The high sensitivity(12.43 kPa^(−1)),ultrabroad linear sensing range(1 MPa),high pressure resolution(6.4 Pa),long-term durability(no decay after 12000 cycles),and excellent stretchability(up to 20%)allow the sensor to maintain operating stability,even in emergency cases with a high sudden impact force(near 1 MPa)applied to the sensor.As a practical demonstration,the SIPS can positively track biophysical signals such as pulse waves,muscle movements,and plantar pressure.Importantly,with the help of a neuro-inspired fully convolutional network algorithm,the SIPS can accurately predict knee joint postures for better rehabilitation after orthopedic surgery.Our SIPS has potential as a promising candidate for wearable electronics and artificial intelligent medical engineering owing to its unique high signal-to-noise ratio and ultrabroad linear range.Hongcheng Xu Libo Gao Haitao Zhao Hanlin Huang Yuejiao Wang Gang Chen Yuxin Qin Ningjuan Zhao Dandan Xu Ling Duan Xuan Li Siyu Li Zhongbao Luo Weidong Wang Yang Lu 2021Microsystems & Nanoengineering2021,7,6:0
