1Cylindrical vector beam fiber laser with a symmetric two-mode fiber coupler显示文摘We demonstrate a passively mode-locked all-fiber laser generating cylindrical vector beams(CVBs)only using a symmetric two-mode fiber optical coupler(TMF-OC)for both high-order mode excitation and splitting.Theoretical analyses show that for a symmetric TMF-OC with appropriate taper diameter,the second-order mode can be excited and coupled into output tap with high purity due to the effective index difference of different modes.Based on the fabricated TMF-OC,the passively mode-locked fiber laser delivers pulsed CVBs at a center wavelength of 1564.4 nm with 3 d B linewidth of 11.2 nm,pulse duration of 2.552 ps,and repetition rate of3.96 MHz.The purity of both radially and azimuthally polarized beams is estimated to be over 91%.Due to simple fabrication method of the TMF-OC and high purity of the generated CVBs,this mode-locked CVB fiber laser with all-fiber configuration has potential applications in optical trapping,optical communications,material processing,etc.YANG XU SU CHEN ZHIQIANG WANG BING SUN HONGDAN WAN ZUXING ZHANG 2019Photonics Research2019,7,12:5
2Functional characterization of a biosurfactant-producing thermo-tolerant bacteria isolated from an oil reservoir显示文摘A Bacillus subtilis strain JA-1 isolated from an oil reservoir was studied.This strain is capable of growth and producing biosurfactant at a temperature of 60 oC.In nutrient medium it produced biosurfactant which reduced the surface tension from 68.2 mN/m to 28.3 mN/m,with the critical micelle concentration (CMC) of 48 mg/L.The measured surface tension indicated that the biosurfactant possessed stable surface activity at high temperature and a specific range of pH and salt concentrations.The results of thin layer chromatography (TLC) together with FT-IR showed that the metabolic product of strain JA-1 is a lipopeptide biosurfactant.The ability to growth at high temperature and to produce biosurfactant makes strain JA-1 promising for enhanced oil recovery.Wang Jing Ji Guang Tian Jing Zhang Hongdan Dong Hanping Yu Li 2011Petroleum Science2011,8,3:1
3Transcriptomic response to ammonia-N stress in the hepatopancreas of swimming crab Portunus trituberculatus显示文摘The swimming crab Portunus trituberculatus is an important farmed species in China.Ammonia-N represents a major physiological challenge for crab culture and the hepatopancreas plays a major role in physiological adaptation processes.To better understand the molecular mechanism of the crab in response to ammonia-N stress,we performed a transcriptome analysis in the hepatopancreas of P.trituberculatus challenged with ammonia-N stress(5 mg/L),using the high-throughput sequencing technology.In total,52,280 unigenes were obtained from the hepatopancreas of P.trituberculatus,with an average length of 678 bp.Functional categorization and pathways showed some diiferentially expressed genes were involved in amino acid and nucleobase metabolism,energy metabolism,antioxidation,immune response,reproduction,moulting and material transport.The differential expression patterns of eight randomly selected annotated genes were validated by quantitative real-time PCR(qPCR).Results revealed a substantial number of genes modified by ammonia-N stress and a few significant ammonia acclimation pathways,which will serve as an invaluable resource for revealing the molecular basis of physiological adaptation mechanism in P.trituberculatus.Lingjun Si Luqing Pan Hongdan Wang Xin Zhang 2020Marine Life Science & Technology2020,2,2:0
4Three-Dimensional Hexagram Gold Nanoparticles: Synthesis and Growth Mechanism显示文摘This study explained a procedure to synthesize 3 D hexagram gold nanoparticles using a specific morphologically controlled gold precursor reduction. Acetaldehyde acted as the reducing agent along with polyvinyl pyrrolidone as the stabilizing agent with a limited reaction temperature range observed to be near to 25 °C. The resulting special gold nanoparticles were physically characterized and observed to possess an average planar size of 420 nm, an average central thickness of 200 nm, and an average edge thickness of 18 nm. Furthermore, a mechanism model was proposed to describe the oriented growth of gold nanoparticles employing published accounts of the mechanisms involved in the growth of gold hexagonal nanoplates. 5Decentralized Optimal Control and Stabilization of Interconnected Systems With Asymmetric Information显示文摘The paper addresses the decentralized optimal control and stabilization problems for interconnected systems subject to asymmetric information.Compared with previous work,a closed-loop optimal solution to the control problem and sufficient and necessary conditions for the stabilization problem of the interconnected systems are given for the first time.The main challenge lies in three aspects:Firstly,the asymmetric information results in coupling between control and estimation and failure of the separation principle.Secondly,two extra unknown variables are generated by asymmetric information(different information filtration)when solving forward-backward stochastic difference equations.Thirdly,the existence of additive noise makes the study of mean-square boundedness an obstacle.The adopted technique is proving and assuming the linear form of controllers and establishing the equivalence between the two systems with and without additive noise.A dual-motor parallel drive system is presented to demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm.Na Wang Xiao Liang Hongdan Li Xiao Lu 2024IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2024,11,3:0

7Exploring catalytic behaviors of CoS_(2)-ReS_(2) heterojunction by interfacial engineering显示文摘Herein, a stable and efficient CoS_(2)-ReS_(2) electrocatalyst is successfully constructed by using the different molar ratios of CoS_(2) on ReS_(2). The size and morphology of the catalysts are significantly changed after the CoS_(2) is grown on ReS_(2), providing regulation of the catalytic activity of ReS_(2). Particularly, the optimized CoS_(2)-ReS_(2) shows superior electrocatalytic properties with a low voltage of 1.48 V at 20 mA cm^(-2) for overall water splitting in 1.0 M KOH, which is smaller than the noble metal-based catalysts(1.77 V at 20 mA cm^(-2)). The XPS, XAS, and theoretical data confirm that the interfacial regulation of ReS_(2) by CoS_(2) can provide rich edge catalytic sites, which greatly optimizes the catalytic kinetics and drop the energy barrier for oxygen/hydrogen evolution reactions. 8Bioaccumulation and function analysis of glutathione S-transferase isoforms in Manila clam Ruditapes philippinarum exposed to different kinds of PAHs显示文摘This study analyzed the function of different glutathione S-transferase(GST)isoforms and detoxification metabolism responses in Manila clam,Ruditapes philippinarum,exposed to 4 kinds of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)single,and their mixtures for 15 days under laboratory conditions.13 kinds of GSTs in R.philippinarum were classified,and the results of tissue distribution indicated that 12 kinds of GSTs(except GST sigma 3)expressed most in digestive glands.We detected the m RNA expression levels of aryl hydrocarbon receptor signaling pathway,and detoxification system in digestive glands of clams exposed to benzo[a]pyrene(Ba P),chrysene(CHR),benzo[a]anthracene(Ba A),benzo[b]fluoranthene(Bb F),and Ba P+CHR+Ba A+Bb F,respectively.Among these genes,we selected GST-sigma,GST-omega and GST-pi as potential indicators to Ba P;GST-sigma,GST-A and GST-rho to CHR;GST-pi,GST-sigma,GST-A,GST-rho and GST-microsomal to Ba A;GST-theta and GST-mu to Bb F;while GST-pi and GST-mu to the mixture of Ba P,CHR,Ba A and Bb F.Additionally,the bioaccumulation of PAHs in tissues increased remarkably over time,and showed an obvious doseeffect.Under the same concentration,the bioaccumulation in single exposure group was higher than that in mixture group,and the bioaccumulation of PAHs in tissues with different concentrations of stress was irregular.The results revealed the metabolic differences and bioaccumulation rules in clams exposed to four kinds of PAHs,and provided more valuable information for the PAHs risk assessment.Yueyao Zhou Linlin Yao Luqing Pan Hongdan Wang 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,2:0

10Maize cryptochromes 1a1 and 1a2 promote seedling photomorphogenesis and shade resistance in Zea mays and Arabidopsis显示文摘Maize growth and development are regulated by light quality,intensity and photoperiod.Cryptochromes are blue/ultraviolet-A light receptors involved in stem elongation,shade avoidance,and photoperiodic flowering.To investigate the function of cryptochrome 1(CRY1) in maize,where it is encoded by Zm CRY1,we obtained two Zm CRY1a genes(Zm CRY1a1 and Zm CRY1a2),both of which share the highest similarity with other gramineous plants,in particular rice CRY1a by phylogenetic analysis.In Arabidopsis,overexpression of Zm CRY1a genes promoted seedling de-etiolation under blue and white light,resulting in dwarfing of mature plants.In seedlings of the maize inbred line Zong 31(Zm CRY1aOE),overexpression of Zm CRY1a genes caused a reduction in the mesocotyl and first leaf sheath lengths due to down-regulation of genes influencing cell elongation.In mature transgenic maize plants,plant height,ear height,and internode length decreased in response to overexpression of Zm CRY1a genes.Expression of Zm CRY1a were insensitive to low blue light(LBL)-induced shade avoidance syndrome(SAS) in Arabidopsis and maize.This prompted us to investigate the regulatory role of the gibberellin and auxin metabolic pathways in the response of Zm CRY1a genes to LBL treatment.We confirmed a link between Zm CRY1a expression and hormonal influence on the growth and development of maize under LBL-induced SAS.These results reveal that Zm CRY1a has a relatively conservative function in regulating maize photomorphogenesis and may guide new strategies for breeding high density-tolerant maize cultivars.Xiaocong Fan Shizhan Chen Wenjing Wu Meifang Song Guanghua Sun Shuaitao Yao Weimin Zhan Lei Yan Hongdan Li Yanpei Zhang Lijian Wang Kang Zhang Liangliang Jiang Jianping Yang Qinghua Yang 2023The Crop Journal2023,11,4:0
11Identification and attribute analysis of key stakeholders who influence multidrug-resistant tuberculosis prevention and control in China显示文摘Background There could be various stakeholders who influencing multidrug-resistant tuberculosis(MDR-TB)policy development and implementation,yet their attributes and roles remain unclear in practice.This study aimed to identify key stakeholders in the process of policy-making for MDR-TB control and prevention and to analyse the attributes and relationships of the stakeholders,providing evidence for further policy research on MDR-TB control.Methods This study was conducted from October 2018 to March 2019 and applied the stakeholder analysis guidelines and domestic stakeholder analysis.An initial candidate stakeholder list was developed by policy scanning.Ten experts were invited to identify these candidate stakeholders.The major attribute of these stakeholders were analysed using the Michell scoring method.Based on these results,the intertwined relationships among groups of stakeholders were analysed and mapped through a systematic scan of the policy and literature on MDR-TB control,as well as information obtained from the interviews.Results A list of 21 types of candidate stakeholders was developed after a literature review and policy scanning,of which 11 received 100%approval.After expert evaluation and identification(the total expert authority was 0.80),19 categories of stakeholders were approved and included in the stakeholder analysis.We categorized all of the stakeholders into three groups:(i)definitive stakeholders who are mainly involved in administrative departments and the Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC);(ii)expectant stakeholders who are mainly involved with MDR-TB patients,clinical departments of TB hospitals at different levels,community health care facilities,prefectural CDC and charity organizations;and(iii)latent stakeholders who mainly involved family members and neighbours of MDR-TB patients and TB related products manufacturers.Government departments and higher-level CDCs have strong decision-making power in developing MDR-TB control policies whereas the recommendations from service providers and the concerns of patients should be considered.Conclusions The MDR-TB prevention system was a multistakeholder cooperation system that was mainly led by government stakeholders.Enhancing communications with front-line service providers and patients on their unmet needs and evidence-based suggestions would highly benefit policy-making of MDR-TB prevention and control.Bin Chen Hongdan Bao Xinyi Chen Kui Liu Ying Peng Wei Wang Fei Wang Jianmin Jiang Biao Xu 2021Infectious Diseases of Poverty2021,10,4:0
