1Review of Chinese atmospheric science research over the past 70 years: Synoptic meteorology显示文摘Synoptic meteorology is a branch of meteorology that uses synoptic weather observations and charts for the diagnosis,study,and forecasting of weather.Weather refers to the specific state of the atmosphere near the Earth’s surface during a short period of time.The spatial distribution of meteorological elements in the atmosphere can be represented by a variety of transient weather phenomena,which are caused by weather systems of different spatial and temporal scales.Weather is closely related to people’s life,and its development and evolution have always been the focus of atmospheric scientific research and operation.The development of synoptic meteorology is closely related to the development of observation systems,dynamical theories and numerical models.In China,observation networks have been built since the early 1950 s.Up to now,a comprehensive meteorological observation systembased on ground,air and space has been established.In particular,the development of a new generation of dense radar networks,the development of the Fengyun satellite series and the implementation of a series of large field experiments have brought our understanding of weather from large-scale environment to thermal dynamics,cloud microphysical structure and evolution characteristics of meso and micro-scale weather systems.The development of observation has also promoted the development of theory,numerical model and simulation.In the early days,China mainly used foreign numerical models.Lately,China has developed numerical model systems with independent intellectual property rights.Based on the results of high-resolution numerical simulations,in-depth understanding of the initiation and evolution mechanism and predictability of weather at different scales has been obtained.Synoptic meteorology has gradually changed from an initially independent development to a multidisciplinary approach,and the interaction between weather and the change of climate and environment has become a hot and frontier topic in atmospheric science.This paper reviews the important scientific and technological achievements made in China over the past 70 years in the fields of synoptic meteorology based on the literatures in China and abroad,from six aspects respectively including atmospheric dynamics,synoptic-scale weather,typhoon and tropical weather,severe convective weather,numerical weather prediction and data assimilation,weather and climate,atmospheric physics and atmospheric environment.Zhiyong MENG Fuqing ZHANG Dehai LUO Zhemin TAN Juan FANG Jianhua SUN Xueshun SHEN Yunji ZHANG Shuguang WANG Wei HAN Kun ZHAO Lei ZHU Yongyun HU Huiwen XUE Yaping MA Lijuan ZHANG Ji NIE Ruilin ZHOU Sa LI Hongjun LIU Yuning ZHU 2019Science China Earth Sciences2019,62,12:7
2A more consistent intraluminal rhesus monkey model of ischemic stroke显示文摘Endovascular surgery is advantageous in experimentally induced ischemic stroke because it causes fewer cranial traumatic lesions than invasive surgery and can closely mimic the pathophysiology in stroke patients. However, the outcomes are highly variable, which limits the accuracy of evaluations of ischemic stroke studies. In this study, eight healthy adult rhesus monkeys were randomized into two groups with four monkeys in each group: middle cerebral artery occlusion at origin segment(M1) and middle cerebral artery occlusion at M2 segment. The blood flow in the middle cerebral artery was blocked completely for 2 hours using the endovascular microcoil placement technique(1 mm × 10 cm)(undetachable), to establish a model of cerebral ischemia. The microcoil was withdrawn and the middle cerebral artery blood flow was restored. A reversible middle cerebral artery occlusion model was identified by hematoxylin-eosin staining, digital subtraction angiography, magnetic resonance angiography, magnetic resonance imaging, and neurological evaluation. The results showed that the middle cerebral artery occlusion model was successfully established in eight adult healthy rhesus monkeys, and ischemic lesions were apparent in the brain tissue of rhesus monkeys at 24 hours after occlusion. The rhesus monkeys had symptoms of neurological deficits. Compared with the M1 occlusion group, the M2 occlusion group had lower infarction volume and higher neurological scores. These experimental findings indicate that reversible middle cerebral artery occlusion can be produced with the endovascular microcoil technique in rhesus monkeys. 3Petroleum Geology in Deepwater Settings in a Passive Continental Margin of a Marginal Sea:A Case Study from the South China Sea显示文摘Deepwater oil and gas exploration has become a global hotspot in recent years and the study of the deep waters of marginal seas is an important frontier research area.The South China Sea(SCS)is a typical marginal sea that includes Paleo SCS and New SCS tectonic cycles.The latter includes continental marginal rifting,intercontinental oceanic expansion and oceanic shrinking,which controlled the evolution of basins,and the generation,migration and accumulation of hydrocarbons in the deepwater basins on the continental margin of the northern SCS.In the Paleogene,the basins rifted along the margin of the continent and were filled mainly with sediments in marine-continental transitional environments.In the Neogene–Quaternary,due to thermal subsidence,neritic-abyssal facies sediments from the passive continental margin of the SCS mainly filled the basins.The source rocks include mainly Oligocene coal-bearing deltaic and marine mudstones,which were heated by multiple events with high geothermal temperature and terrestrial heat flow,resulting in the generation of gas and oil.The faults,diapirs and sandstones controlled the migration of hydrocarbons that accumulated principally in a large canyon channel,a continental deepwater fan,and a shelf-margin delta.ZHANG Gongcheng FENG Congjun YAO Xingzong JI Mo YANG Haizhang QU Hongjun ZENG Qingbo ZHAO Zhao SUN Rui 2021Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,1:6

7Large-area flexible and transparent UV photodetector based on cross-linked Ag NW@ZnO NRs with high performance显示文摘A series of large-area,flexible and transparent ultraviolet(UV)photodetectors(PDs)based on Ag nanowire(NW)@ZnO nanorods(NRs)are fabricated by an inexpensive,facile and effective approach.These Ag NW@ZnO NRs are successfully synthesized using a two-step method in an oil bath with a high surface-to-volume ratio and good crystallinity.The PDs are fabricated by drop-coating with different drop-coating times on the surface of polyethylene terephthalate(PET)coupled with Au electrodes.By optimizing the cross-linked network of Ag NW@ZnO NRs,PD2 with a size greater than 25 mm exhibits excellent photoresponse under UV light illumination of 365 nm(1.3 m W cm^(-2))with a bias of 5 V:a high sensitivity of over 10^(3),and a much shorter rise/decay time of 2.6 s/2.3 s.Simultaneously,the detector exhibits an average transmittance of more than 70%in the visible light region,as well as good flexibility and excellent mechanical stability under a bending angle of 120°over 1000 circles bending.These integral advantages have significant potential for practical applications and mass production.Lin Zhang Nuomei Li Qiuchen Ma Jiahui Ding Chuang Chen Zhaocheng Hu Weiwei Zhao Yufeng Li Huanhuan Feng Mingyu Li Hongjun Ji 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,15:1

13Digital Barcode Development for Single Nuclotide Polymorphism (SNP) Identification of Suzhong Swine Individuals显示文摘Suzhong swine is a hybrid breed derived from Taihu sows and Landrace boars. To identify Suzhong swine individuals and trace the source of pork products,single nucleotide polymorphisms( SNPs) identification of Suzhong swine individuals was studied. A total of 29 pairs of primers were designed and seven pairs of primers were used for identification of Suzhong swine individuals. The products amplified by seven pairs of primers could be directly sequenced,with clean sequencing map background and no ambiguity in sequence read. Totally 52 SNPs loci were amplified by seven pairs of primers,and 41 SNPs loci were reserved for identification of Suzhong swine individuals through correlation analysis and heterozygosity filtration( H≥0. 1). Meantime,the digital barcodes for SNP identification of 96 individuals of Suzhong swine derived from seven boars and 12 sows were developed,which well distinguished 96 individuals of Suzhong swine. Theoretically,41 SNPs amplified by seven pairs of primers could be used for identification of 5. 0 × 10~6 pig individuals. 15Additively Manufactured Flexible Electronics with Ultrabroad Range and High Sensitivity for Multiple Physiological Signals'Detection显示文摘Flexible electronics can be seamlessly attached to human skin and used for various purposes, such as pulse monitoring, pressure measurement, tensile sensing, and motion detection. Despite their broad applications, most flexible electronics do not possess both high sensitivity and wide detection range simultaneously;their sensitivity drops rapidly when they are subjected to even just medium pressure. In this study, ultrabroad-range, high-sensitivity flexible electronics are fabricated through additive manufacturing to address this issue. The key to possess high sensitivity and a wide detection range simultaneously is to fabricate flexible electronics with large depth-width ratio circuit channels using the additive manufacturing inner-rinsing template method. These electronics exhibit an unprecedented high sensitivity of 320 kPa^(−1) over the whole detection range, which ranges from 0.3 to 30,000 Pa (five orders of magnitude). Their minimum detectable weight is 0.02 g (the weight of a fly), which is comparable with human skin. They can stretch to over 500% strain without breaking and show no tensile fatigue after 1000 repetitions of stretching to 100% strain. A highly sensitive and flexible electronic epidermal pulse monitor is fabricated to detect multiple physiological signals, such as pulse signal, breathing rhythm, and real-time beat-to-beat cuffless blood pressure. All of these signals can be obtained simultaneously for detailed health detection and monitoring. The fabrication method does not involve complex expensive equipment or complicated operational processes, so it is especially suitable for the fabrication of large-area, complex flexible electronics. 17A supersaturated Cu-Ag nanoalloy joint with ultrahigh shear strength and ultrafine nanoprecipitates for power electronic packaging显示文摘Ag-Cu bimetallic nanoalloy,integrating the advantages of reducing migration and cost of nano-Ag and alleviating oxidation of nano-Cu,is a prospective bonding material for power electronic packaging.The Ag-coated Cu nanoparticles(Cu@Ag NPs)paste can execute bonding with high quality at 250℃,and the achieved supersaturated Ag-Cu nanoalloy joint with ultrahigh shear strength(152 MPa)dramatically exceeds most nano-paste joints.The interstitial solid solutions with atomic-level metallurgical bonds at the interface dominantly promoted the shear strength.Besides,the numerous ultrafine nanograin,high proportion of low angle grain boundaries(7.44%)without deformation,and the Cu nanoprecipitates in the joint would improve subordinately.Furthermore,the high content(16.8%)of∑3 twin boundaries would contribute to the electrical and thermal conductivity.Thus,the multiple strengthening mechanisms with the solid solution,the second precipitated phase,and ultrafine nanograin can dramatically enhance shear strength and electro-thermal conductivity of joints for high-temperature device packaging.Wenwu Zhang Penghao Zhang Dashi Lu Hao Pan Xiangli Liu Chengyan Xu Jun Wei Mingyu Li Hongjun Ji 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,14:0
18Shallowing interfacial carrier trap in transition metal dichalcogenide heterostructures with interlayer hybridization显示文摘With the unique properties,layered transition metal dichalcogenide(TMD)and its heterostructures exhibit great potential for applications in electronics.The electrical performance,e.g.,contact barrier and resistance to electrodes,of TMD heterostructure devices can be significantly tailored by employing the functional layers,called interlayer engineering.At the interface between different TMD layers,the dangling-bond states normally exist and act as traps against charge carrier flow.In this study,we propose a technique to suppress such carrier trap that uses enhanced interlayer hybridization to saturate dangling-bond states,as demonstrated in a strongly interlayer-coupled monolayer-bilayer PtSe2 heterostructure.The hybridization between the unsaturated states and the interlayer electronic states of PtSe2 significantly reduces the depth of carrier traps at the interface,as corroborated by our scanning tunnelling spectroscopic measurements and density functional theory calculations.The suppressed interfacial trap demonstrates that interlayer saturation may offer an efficient way to relay the charge flow at the interface of TMD heterostructures.Thus,this technique provides an effective way for optimizing the interface contact,the crucial issue exists in two-dimensional electronic community.Xu Wu Jingsi Qiao Liwei Liu Yan Shao Zhongliu Liu Linfei Li Zhili Zhu Cong Wang Zhixin Hu Wei Ji Yeliang Wang Hongjun Gao 2021Nano Research2021,14,5:0
19Distribution characteristics of delta reservoirs reshaped by bottom currents:A case study from the second member of the Yinggehai Formation in the DF1-1 gas field,Yinggehai Basin,South China Sea显示文摘The Dongfang1-1 gas field(DF1-1)in the Yinggehai Basin is currently the largest offshore self-developed gas field in China and is rich in oil and gas resources.The second member of the Pliocene Yinggehai Formation(YGHF)is the main gas-producing formation and is composed of various sedimentary types;however,a clear understanding of the sedimentary types and development patterns is lacking.Here,typical lithofacies,logging facies and seismic facies types and characteristics of the YGHF are identified based on high-precision 3D seismic data combined with drilling,logging,analysis and testing data.Based on 3D seismic interpretation and attribute analysis,the origin of high-amplitude reflections is clarified,and the main types and evolution characteristics of sedimentary facies are identified.Taking gas formation upper II(IIU)as an example,the plane distribution of the delta front and bottom current channel is determined;finally,a comprehensive sedimentary model of the YGHF second member is established.This second member is a shallowly buried“bright spot”gas reservoir with weak compaction.The velocity of sandstone is slightly lower than that of mudstone,and the reflection has medium amplitude when there is no gas.The velocity of sandstone decreases considerably after gas accumulation,resulting in an increase in the wave impedance difference and high-amplitude(bright spot)reflection between sandstone and mudstone;the range of high amplitudes is consistent with that of gas-bearing traps.The distribution of gas reservoirs is obviously controlled by dome-shaped diapir structural traps,and diapir faults are channels through which natural gas from underlying Miocene source rocks can enter traps.The study area is a delta front deposit developed on a shallow sea shelf.The lithologies of the reservoir are mainly composed of very fine sand and coarse silt,and a variety of sedimentary structural types reflect a shallow sea delta environment;upward thickening funnel type,strong toothed bell type and toothed funnel type logging facies are developed.In total,4 stages of delta front sand bodies(corresponding to progradational reflection seismic facies)derived from the Red River and Blue River in Vietnam have developed in the second member of the YGHF;these sand bodies are dated to 1.5 Ma and correspond to four gas formations.During sedimentation,many bottom current channels(corresponding to channel fill seismic facies)formed,which interacted with the superposed progradational reflections.When the provenance supply was strong in the northwest,the area was dominated by a large set of delta front deposits.In the period of relative sea level rise,surface bottom currents parallel to the coastline were dominant,and undercutting erosion was obvious,forming multistage superimposed erosion troughs.Three large bottom current channels that developed in the late sedimentary period of gas formation IIU are the most typical.Shuo Chen Renhai Pu Huiqiong Li Hongjun Qu Tianyu Ji Siyu Su Yunwen Guan Hui Zhang 2022Acta Oceanologica Sinica2022,41,9:0
20Dislocation behavior in Cu single crystal joints under the ultrasonically excited high-strain-rate deformation显示文摘The coupling effects of ultrasonic excitation and high-strain-rate deformation are the core factors for weld formation during ultrasonic welding.However,interfacial deformation behavior still shrouds in uncer-tainty because of the contradictory features between mutual dislocation retardation caused by severely frictional deformation and ultrasonic-accelerated dislocation motion.[101]and[111]-oriented Cu single crystals which tended to form geometrically necessary boundaries(GNBs)were selected as the welding substrates to trace the uniquely acoustoplastic effects in the interfacial region under the ultrasonically excited high-strain-rate deformation.It was indicated that for a low energy input,micro-welds localized at the specific interface region,and equiaxed dislocation cells substituting for GNBs dominated in the ini-tial single crystal rotation region.As the welding energy increased,continuous shear deformation drove the dynamic recrystallization region covered by equiaxed grains to spread progressively.Limited discrete dislocations inside the recrystallized grains and nascent dislocation cells at the grain boundaries were ob-served in[101]and[111]joints simultaneously,suggesting that the ultrasonic excitation promoted motion of intragranular dislocation and pile-up along the sub-grain boundaries.The interfacial morphology be-fore and after expansion of recrystallization region all exhibited the weakening of orientation constraint on dislocation motion,which was also confirmed by the similar micro-hardness in joint interface.The first-principle calculation and applied strain-rate analysis further revealed that ultrasonic excitation en-hanced dislocation slipping,and enabled dislocation motion to accommodate severe plastic deformation at a high-strain-rate.Qiuchen Ma Jingyuan Ma Jianli Zhou Xiaoxiong Zheng Hongjun Ji 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,10:0
