| 1 | Influence of flue gas cleaning system on characteristics of PM_(2.5)emission from coal-fired power plants显示文摘This study investigated the influence of precipitators and wet flue gas desulfurization equipment on characteristics of PM_(2.5)emission from coal-fired power stations.We measured size distribution and removal efficiencies,including hybrid electrostatic precipitator/bag filters(ESP/BAGs)which have rarely been studied.A bimodal distribution of particle concentrations was observed at the inlet of each precipitator.After the precipitators,particle concentrations were significantly reduced.Although a bimodal distribution was still observed,all peak positions shifted to the smaller end.The removal efficiencies of hybrid ESP/BAGs reached 99%for PM_(2.5),which is considerably higher than those for other types of precipitators.In particular,the influence of hybrid ESP/BAG operating conditions on the performance of dust removal was explored.The efficiency of hybrid ESP/BAGs decreased by 1.9%when the first electrostatic field was shut down.The concentrations and distributions of particulate matter were also measured in three coal-fired power plants before and after desulfurization devices.The results showed diverse removal efficiencies for different desulfurization towers.The reason for the difference requires further research.We estimated the influence of removal technology for particulate matter on total emissions in China.Substituting ESPs with hybrid ESP/BAGs could reduce the total emissions to 104.3 thousand tons,with 47.48 thousand tons of PM_(2.5). | Ao Wang Qiang Song Gongming Tu Hui Wang Yong Yue Qiang Yao | 2014 | International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2014,1,1: | 16 |

| 6 | Tourism sectorization opportunity spectrum model and space partition of tourism urbanization area:a case of the Mayangxi ecotourism area,Fujian province,China显示文摘Nowadays, tourism has become an increasingly significant driving force of modern urbanization in China. However, it has caused varieties of problems, such as resource unreasonable utilization, society unfair play, and environment pollution, etc. Thus, the establishment of an efficient and sustainable space partition model for tourism urbanization, from the geographical perspective, is highly necessary and urgent. Herein, a new evaluation model of tourist town space, referred to as Tourism Sectorization Opportunity Spectrum(TSOS), is established on the relationships between productionliving-ecology spaces. TSOS is a kind of quantitative evaluation model involving such factors as urban living area, ecological conservation area and the tourism industry. Furthermore, the analysis of quantitative production-living-ecology spatial overlap has been utilized for space division in a tourism urbanization area. This paper, using both the TSOS model and GIS technology, analyzes the spatial restructure of the Mayangxi ecotourism area. Theresult demonstrates that tourism industrial space takes the Shanchong Village as a core which shows a pattern of local regional agglomeration and a fuzzy edge extending along the entire Mayangxi River. The urban living area should be consolidated in the Shili village with the supporting facilities and living space for tourism. In addition, Tianzhu Mountain forest park should be the key environmental protection area. The case study on the Mayangxi ecotourism area verifies that the TSOS model has strong operability. | 7 | Effects of ketamine on mouse hippocampal inflammatory cytokines IL-6,IL-1β and TNF-α levels in acute and chronic administration models显示文摘OBJECTIVE Ketamine is an injectable anesthetic and recreational drug of abuse commonly used worldwide. Many experimental studies have shown that ketamine can impair cognitive function and induce psychotic states. Neuroinflammation has been suggested to play an important role in neurodegeneration. Meanwhile,ketamine has been showed to modulate the levels of inflammatory cytokines.Therefore,we sought to investigate whether the effects of ketamine on the central nervous system is associated with the inflammatory cytokines. METHODS We established acute(single or multiple intraperitoneal injection) and chronic(six months daily intraperitoneal injection) ketamine administration models in C57BL/6 mice,evaluated the spatial recognition memory and emotional response by applying the Y maze test and open field test. We analyzed the changes of inflammatory cytokines interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-1β(IL-1β) and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) levels in mouse hippocampus,employing Western blot,quantitative reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction(qR T-PCR) and immunohistochemistry. RESULTS Ketamine induced spatial recognition memory deficit,reduced anxiety-like behaviors in mice after chronic administration,and it was dose-dependent. Moreover,we found that ketamine could increase the levels of mouse hippocampal inflammatory cytokines IL-6 and IL-1β after single,multiple and long-term administration in a dose-dependent manner. However,the level of TNF-α expressed differently in mouse hippocampus under different conditions. Single administration of ketamine increased the level of TNF-α,whereas multiple and long-term administration decreased it significantly. We considered that TNF-α might exist bi-directional regulatory pathway,which was associated with the dose and duration of ketamine administration. | 8 | Genome-wide association study and genomic prediction of Fusarium ear rot resistance in tropical maize germplasm显示文摘Fusarium ear rot(FER)is a destructive maize fungal disease worldwide.In this study,three tropical maize populations consisting of 874 inbred lines were used to perform genomewide association study(GWAS)and genomic prediction(GP)analyses of FER resistance.Broad phenotypic variation and high heritability for FER were observed,although it was highly influenced by large genotype-by-environment interactions.In the 874 inbred lines,GWAS with general linear model(GLM)identified 3034 single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)significantly associated with FER resistance at the P-value threshold of 1×10^(-5),the average phenotypic variation explained(PVE)by these associations was 3%with a range from 2.33%to 6.92%,and 49 of these associations had PVE values greater than 5%.The GWAS analysis with mixed linear model(MLM)identified 19 significantly associated SNPs at the P-value threshold of 1×10^(-4),the average PVE of these associations was 1.60%with a range from 1.39%to 2.04%.Within each of the three populations,the number of significantly associated SNPs identified by GLM and MLM ranged from 25 to 41,and from 5 to 22,respectively.Overlapping SNP associations across populations were rare.A few stable genomic regions conferring FER resistance were identified,which located in bins 3.04/05,7.02/04,9.00/01,9.04,9.06/07,and 10.03/04.The genomic regions in bins 9.00/01 and 9.04 are new.GP produced moderate accuracies with genome-wide markers,and relatively high accuracies with SNP associations detected from GWAS.Moderate prediction accuracies were observed when the training and validation sets were closely related.These results implied that FER resistance in maize is controlled by minor QTL with small effects,and highly influenced by the genetic background of the populations studied.Genomic selection(GS)by incorporating SNP associations detected from GWAS is a promising tool for improving FER resistance in maize. | Yubo Liu Guanghui Hu Ao Zhang Alexander Loladze Yingxiong Hu Hui Wang Jingtao Qu Xuecai Zhang Michael Olsen Felix San Vicente Jose Crossa Feng Lin Boddupalli M.Prasanna | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,2: | 3 |
