1Impact of water diversion on the morphological development of the Lower Yellow River显示文摘In this paper we carry out a theoretical analysis based on the general one-dimensional morphodynamic model for rivers in order to show how the morphological equilibrium of a river is influenced by water and sediment diversion/supply along the river. The results of the analysis show that large scale water diversions, like those along the Lower Yellow River, can cause the development of a convex riverbed profile in the long-term. Deposition will take place along the whole reach of the river, with an increasing deposition depth from downstream to upstream. The slope of the river bed increases from upstream to downstream. Furthermore, an analysis on the morphological time scale shows that this development in the Lower Yellow River will take a time period on the order of decades to centuries. The results of the analysis have been compared with observations in the Lower Yellow River. Since the second half of the 1980's large scale water diversions from the Yellow River have been taking place. 2Precise localization of small pulmonary nodules using Pre-VATS with Xper-CT in combination with real-time fluoroscopy-guided coil:report of 15 patients显示文摘Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the value of precise localization of nodules using pre-video-assisted thoracic surgery(VATS) Xper–CT in combination with real-time fluoroscopy-guided coil in the resection of pulmonary nodules using VATS. Materials and Methods: Precise localization of nodules using Xper-CT in combination with real-time fluoroscopy-guided coil and wedge resection using VATS were conducted on 15 patients with 17 small pulmonary nodules(diameter 0.5–1.5 cm) from April 2015 to January 2016. The value of localization was evaluated in terms of procedure time, type of coils, associated complications of localization, and VATS success rate. Results: The success rate of coil localization was found to be 100% in the primary stage(as shown by the CT scan), and the average procedure time was 30–45 min(35.6 ± 3.05 min). No deaths or major complications occurred. Minor complications included five incidents of pneumothorax(the morbidity was 29.4%, 5/17; no patient required chest tube drainage). The dislocation of coil was found in one patient. The results of pathological examination of 17 small pulmonary nodules revealed 11 primary lung cancers, 1 mesenchymal tumor, 3 nonspecific chronic inflammations, 1 hamartoma, and 1 tuberculosis. Two patients with primary lung cancer underwent lobectomy with mediastinal lymph node dissection. Conclusion: The preoperative precise localization of small pulmonary nodules using Xper-CT-guided coil is an effective and safe technique. It helps in the resection of nodules using VATS. 3Insight into removal of dissolved organic matter in post pharmaceutical wastewater by coagulation-UV/H_2O_2显示文摘The removal of four dissolved organic matter(DOM) fractions, non-acid hydrophobics,hydrophobic acids, hydrophilics and transphilics, was achieved by coagulation-UV/H_2O_2 oxidation in post-pharmaceutical wastewater(PhW W). Coagulation with Polyferric chloride(PFC), Polymeric ferric sulfate(PFS) and Polymeric aluminum ferric chloride(PAFC) was studied separately to evaluate the effects of the initial pH and coagulant dosage. The coagulation-UV/H_2O_2 oxidation method resulted in much higher reduction rates for dissolved organic carbon(DOC)(by 75%) and UV_(254)(by 92%) than coagulation or UV/H_2O_2 oxidation alone. The proportion of non-acid hydrophobics, hydrophobic acids, transphilics and hydrophilics removed by coagulation was 54%, 49%, 27% and 12 %, while the combined treatment removed 92%, 87%,70% and 39%, respectively. Parallel factor analysis(PARAFAC) of fluorescence measurements revealed that the humic-like fluorescent component C4 showed the highest removal(by 44%)during the coagulation stage. After coagulation-UV/H_2O_2 treatment, the humic-like fluorescent component C3 had the highest removal(by 72%), whereas xenobiotic organic fluorescent components C1 and C4 remained recalcitrant to decomposition. Significant correlations(R2> 0.8)between C1 and the hydrophobic acids and non-acid hydrophobics suggested the possibility of using fluorescence spectroscopy as an effective tool to assess variations in DOM fraction treatment efficacy in coagulation-UV/H_2O_2 systems. 4An ecological risk assessment for heavy metals of the lead-zinc ore tailings显示文摘The structure of Pb, Zn, Cu and Cd in lead zinc ore tailing soils in Yongzhou, Hunan is analyzed by the optimized BCR sequential extraction procedure. The content and proportion of heavy metals of the mine are measured. Meanwhile, the ecological risks are evaluated with the Lars Hakanson’s potential ecological risk exponential method. The analysis shows that the content of heavy metals is very high, reaching the level of serious pollution. The order of metal pollution degrees are Cd>Pb>Cu>Zn. On the other hand, it is very possible that the heavy metals may combine together as compounds or cling to the crystal form of clay. Since the form of soluble acid and free metals are very little, it is not an easy job for metal eluting or restoration of plants. Yet it is possible to take out those heavy metals adopting the chemical extraction technology. DTPA and EDTA, indicated by a research, both have iterative value and strong conformity effect. 5Location-aided and secure routing protocol for heterogeneous multi-hop wireless networks显示文摘Most of the existing routing protocols for heterogeneous multi-hop wireless networks(HWMNs) use on-demand routing protocols owing to their suitability for dynamic topology environments, but it causes wastes of network resources with large number of data packets being broadcast. Furthermore, some nodes in heterogeneous wireless multi-hop networksmay be malicious or selfish nodes which can easily lead to link attacks. A novel routing protocol called trust-based secure routing protocol with auxiliary of nodes' location information(TSRAL) is proposed for the establishment of a secure routing protocol with a lower overhead for HWMNs which combines the location information and trust value of nodes to select the next forwarding nodes. The destination node selects an optimal path from multiple paths according to the total trust value and the hop number of routes. 7Location aided probabilistic broadcast algorithm for mobile Ad-hoc network routing显示文摘On-demand routing protocols are widely used in mobile Ad-hoc network(MANET). Flooding is an important dissemination scheme in routing discovering of on-demand routing protocol. However, in high-density MANET redundancy flooding packets lead to dramatic deterioration of the performance which calls broadcast storm problem(BSP). A location-aided probabilistic broadcast(LAPB) algorithm for routing in MANET is proposed to reduce the number of routing packets produced by flooding in this paper. In order to reduce the redundancy packets, only nodes in a specific area have the probability, computed by location information and neighbor knowledge, to propagate the routing packets. 10Progressive learning with multi-scale attention network for cross-domain vehicle re-identification显示文摘Vehicle re-identification(reID)aims to identify vehicles across different cameras that have nonoverlapping views.Most existing vehicle reID approaches train the reID model with well-labeled datasets via a supervised manner,which inevitably causes a severe drop in performance when tested in an unknown domain.Moreover,these supervised approaches require full annotations,which is limiting owing to the amount of unlabeled data.Therefore,with the aim of addressing the aforementioned problems,unsupervised vehicle reID models have attracted considerable attention.It always adopts domain adaptation to transfer discriminative information from supervised domains to unsupervised ones.In this paper,a novel progressive learning method with a multi-scale fusion network is proposed,named PLM,for vehicle reID in the unknown domain,which directly exploits inference from the available abundant data without any annotations.For PLM,a domain adaptation module is employed to smooth the domain bias,which generates images with similar data distribution to unlabeled target domain as“pseudo target samples”.Furthermore,to better exploit the distinct features of vehicle images in the unknown domain,a multi-scale attention network is proposed to train the reID model with the“pseudo target samples”and unlabeled samples;this network embeds low-layer texture features with high-level semantic features to train the reID model.Moreover,a weighted label smoothing(WLS)loss is proposed,which considers the distance between samples and different clusters to balance the confidence of pseudo labels in the feature learning module.Extensive experiments are carried out to verify that our proposed PLM achieves excellent performance on several benchmark datasets.Yang WANG Jinjia PENG Huibing WANG Meng WANG 2022Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,6:3

14Threat-Based Declassification and Endorsement for Mobile Computing显示文摘Declassification and endorsement can efficiently improve the usability of mobile applications.However, both declassify and endorse operations in practice are often ad-hoc and nondeterministic, thus, being insecure. From a new perspective of threat assessments,we propose the Threat-based typed security π-calculus(πTBTS) to model declassification and endorsement in mobile computing. Intuitively, when relaxing confidentiality policies and/or integrity policies, we respectively assess threats brought by performing these two relaxes. If these threats are acceptable, the declassification and/or endorsement operations are permitted;Otherwise, they are denied. 16A Stochastic Model Approach for Optimisation of Lowland River Restoration Works显示文摘Over the course of centuries, river systems have been heavily trained for the purpose of safe discharge of water, sediment and ice, and improves navigation. Traditionally, dikes are used to be reinforced and heightened to protect countries from ever higher flood levels. Other types of solutions than technical engineering solutions, such as measures to increase the flood conveyance capacity(e.g., lowering of groynes and floodplains, setting back dikes) become more popular. These solutions may however increase the river bed dynamics and thus impact negatively navigation, maintenance dredging and flood safety. A variety of numerical models are available to predict the impact of river restoration works on river processes. Often little attention is paid to the assessment of uncertainties. In this paper, we show how we can make uncertainty explicit using a stochastic approach. This approach helps identifying uncertainty sources and assessing their contribution to the overall uncertainty in river processes. The approach gives engineers a better understanding of system behaviour and enables them to intervene with the river system, so as to avoid undesired situations.
