1INTERFACE REACTION IN MAGNETIC MULTILAYERS显示文摘Ta/NiO/NiFe/Ta multilayers were prepared by rf reactive and dc magnetron sputtering. The exchange coupling field (Hex) between NiO and NiFe reached 120Oe. The composition and chemical states at the interface region of NiO/NiFe were studied using the x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and peak decomposition technique. The results show that there are two thermodynamically favorable reactions at NiO/NiFe interface: NiO+Fe=Ni+FeO and 3NiO+2Fe = 3Ni+Fe2O3. The thickness of the chemical reaction as estimated by angle-resolved XPS was about 1-1.5nm. These interface reaction products are magnetic defects, and we believe that the Hex and the coercivity (Hc) of NiO/NiFe are affected by these defects. Moreover, the results also show that there is an 'intermixing layer' at the Ta/NiO (and NiO/Ta) interface due to a thermodynamically favorable reaction: 2Ta+5NiO=5Ni+ Ta2O5. 2MICROSTRUCTURE EVALUATION OF SEMI-SOLID STEEL MATERIALS IN ROLLING PROCESS AND THE RESULTING MECHANICAL PROPERTIES显示文摘The experimental study on the familiar 60Si2Mn and lCrl8Ni9Ti materials rolled in the semi-solid state was carried out. Experimental results show that the segregation of liquid occurs when the semi-solid slurry is rolled, which influences the microstructure and mechanics performance of workpiece under room temperature. The globular solid particles don’t present plastic deformation unless high solid fraction. 4Ductile deformation within Upper Himalaya Crystalline Sequence and geological implications,in Nyalam area,Southern Tibet显示文摘The South Tibet Detachment System(STDS) is a flat normal fault that separates the Upper Himalaya Crystalline Sequence(UHCS) below from the Tethyan Sedimentary Sequence(TSS) above.Timing of deformations related to the STDS is critical to understand the mechanism and evolution of the Himalaya collision zone.The Nyalam detachment(ND)(~86°E) locates in the middle portion of STDS(81°-89°E).Dating of deformed leucocratic dykes that are most probably syntectonic at different depth beneath the ND,allow us to constrain the timing of deformation.(1) Dyke T11N37 located ~3500 m structurally below the ND emplaced at 27.4± 0.2 Ma;(2) Dyke T11N32 located ~1400 m structurally below the ND emplaced at 22.0±0.3 Ma;(3) T11N25 located within the top to the north STD shear zone,~150 m structurally below the ND,emplaced at 17.1±0.2 Ma.Combining ND footwall cooling history and T11N25 deformation temperature,we indicate a probable onset of top to the north deformation at ~16 Ma at this location.These results show an upward younging of the probable timing of onset of the deformation at different structural distance below the ND.We then propose a new model for deformation migration below the ND with deformation starting by pure shear deformation at depth prior to ~27.5 Ma that migrates upward at a rate of ~ 0.3 mm/a until ~18 Ma when deformation switches to top to the north shearing in the South Tibet Detachment shear zone(STDsz).As deformation on the ND stops at 14-13 Ma this would imply that significant top to the North motion would be limited to less than 5 Ma and would jeopardize the importance of lower channel flow.LIU XiaoBing LIU XiaoHan LELOUP P.H. 7INTERACTION OF PRECIPITATION AND RECRYSTALLIZATION IN RAPIDLY SOLIDIFIED Cu-Cr-Zr-Mg ALLOY显示文摘In this paper; the recrystallization process during aging for a rapidly solidified Cu-Cr-Zr-Mg alloy has been investigated. It is found that the discotinuous crystallization process has been partially retarded by the ultra-fine and dispersed precipitation upon aging after deformation. Thus, a phenomenon of combined in situ and discontinuous recrystallization has been observed in the rapidly solidified Cu-Cr-Zr-Mg alloy.On the nucleation and growth of recrystallization, the precipitated phases are coarscned and dissolved in the front of grain boundaries following a re-precipitation in the recrystallization area,which results in the much more dispersed precipitates.Liu, P. 8A LOOP DRAWBEAD RESTRAINING FORCE MODEL IN SHEET METAL DEEP DRAWING PROCESS显示文摘In sheet metal forming, drawbeads are often used to control uneven material flow which may cause defects such as wrinkles, fracture, surface distortion and springback. Appropriate setting and adjusting the drawbead force is one of the most important pa- rameters in sheet metal forming process control. This paper derives the model of loop drawbead restraining force (DBRF) using plastic forming theory, and gives the min imum blankholding force. Experiments are carried out to verify the proposed DBRF model. 9MICROSTRUCTURE AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF NOVEL 718 SUPERALLOY显示文摘Recently, a novel 718 superalloy with remarkable structural stability at 680℃ has been designed and fabricated by CISRI (Central Iron and Steel Research Institute) etc. Phase identification of novel 718 alloy under the above-mentioned heat-treatment condition was performed using optical microscopy (OM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Results show that the novel 718 alloy has outstanding structural stability at 680℃. The novel 718 alloy possess excellent structural stability and good mechanical properties, which is attributed to ?’-phase strengthening and also to the specific sandwich structure of the γ’ + γ’’ strengthening phase.J.H. 10藏南聂拉木高喜马拉雅结晶岩系上部韧性变形年代学及地质意义显示文摘藏南拆离断层系(STDS)为低角度正断层,其上盘为特提斯喜马拉雅沉积岩系,下盘为高喜马拉雅结晶岩系.厘定与STDS有关的变形时限,对深入理解喜马拉雅造山带的变形机制与构造演化具重要意义.聂拉木拆离断层(ND)(86°E)位于STDS中段(81°~89°E),ND下盘不同构造位置(即采样点位与ND的构造距离)的变形花岗质岩脉具有一定程度的同构造特征,锆石-独居石U-Th/Pb年龄可以不同程度地厘定变形时间:(1)样品T11N37(ND下盘约3500m构造位置)的侵位年龄为27.4±0.2Ma;(2)样品T11N32(ND下盘约1400m构造位置)的侵位年龄为22.0±0.3Ma;(3)样品T11N25(ND下盘约150m构造位置)的侵位年龄为17.1±0.2Ma,结合ND下盘冷却历史和T11N25变形温度,认为其变形最晚开始时间约为16Ma.年代学结果表明,变形作用的最晚开始时间由下盘往拆离面逐渐变年轻.因此提出ND下盘变形迁移的新模式,即ND下盘在约27.5Ma之前开始纯剪切为主的变形作用,随后变形以约0.3mm/a的速率向拆离面移动,并于约18Ma在藏南拆离断层剪切带(STDsz)底部转化为简单剪切变形为主.由于ND变形结束于14~13Ma,这意味着北向剪切作用的持续时限小于约5Ma,对下地壳流动模型提出新的挑战.刘小兵 刘小汉 LELOUP P.H. 13CODEPOSITION OF ALUMINUM AND SILICON ON PURE MOLYBDENUM SUBSTRATE USING HALIDE ACTIVATED PACK CEMENTATION TREATMENTS显示文摘A multi-component diffusion coating has been developed to protect Mo-based alloys from high temperature environmental attack. Aluminum addition was made during the coating process to improve the oxidation resistance by developing hexagonal Mo(Si, Al)2 through the development of the halide activated pack cementation coating process on pure Mo substrate. The results show that Mo(Si, Al)2 formed as a main phase on the surface and a little amount of Mo5Si3 also formed. The total thickness of coating is tens ofμm at 1373K. During the cyclic oxidation test at high temperature(at about 1323K in air), mullite (3Al2O3.2SiO2) and some SiO2 formed. The addition of Al is beneficial for MoSi2 coating and the Al-doped coating exhibited only a small weight gain and protected the Mo substrate, while the MoSi2 coating without Al suffered a significant weight loss, indicating a loss of volatile MoO3 after cycles.J.L. 18ATOMIC SCALE MECHANISM OF RESTRAINED EMBRITTLEMENT IN AMORPHOUS Fe_(78)B_(13)Si_9 ALLOY BY ELECTRIC PULSE RAPID ANNEALING显示文摘The direct observations of the atomic arrangements in both conventional furnace annealed and electric pulse rapid annealed Fe78B13Si9 amorphous alloy have been conducted by the lattice imaging technique in a higt resolution electron microscope. The results showed that the embrittlement of the alloy was related to the extent of atomic rearrangements during the annealing processes. The embrittlement of the alloy after 1hour conventional furnace annealing at about 270℃ is caused by the sufficient atomic rearrangements which are characterized by the growth of some bct Fe3B-like atomic short range ordering regions already existed in the as-quenched structure. Electric pulse rapid annealing can effectively retard the above-mentioned atomic rearrangements and thus restrain the embrittlement. The embrittlement only occurs when certain amount of bcc α-Fe nanocrystals are precipitated in the amorphous matrix during electric pulse rapid annealing.J.L. Huang X.G. Cao E. Sukedai S.
