| 1 | Effects of Mahuang(Herba Ephedra Sinica) and Wuweizi(Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis) medicated serum on chemotactic migration of alveolar macrophages and inters regions macrophages in rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To observe the effects of serum containing Mahuang(Herba Ephedra Sinica) or Wuweizi(Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis) on the migration of alveolar macrophages(AM) and interstitial macrophages(IM) from normal rats, and to analyze and compare the mechanisms leading to cell migration differences.METHODS: Rats were randomly divided into three groups: Mahuang(Herba Ephedra Sinica), Wuweizi(Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis), and blank serum. After treatment with the herbs, serum was extracted from the rats. AM and IM were isolated from normal rats and cultured. The effects of Mahuang(Herba Ephedra Sinica) and Wuweizi(Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis) medicated serum on normal rat AM and IM chemotactic migration were determined by transwell assays. The CC chemokine receptor(CCR) 2, CCR5, voltage-gated Kvl. 3 K^+channel(Kv1. 3), and voltage-gated Kvl. 5 K^+channel(Kv1. 5) protein levels were analyzed by western blotting.RESULTS: The migration quantities of AM and IM in the Mahuang(Herba Ephedra Sinica) and Wuweizi(Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis) medicated serum groups were significantly higher than those in the blank serum group(P < 0.01). Compared with the Wuweizi(Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis) medicated serum group, the migration quantity of cultured rat AM in the Mahuang(Herba Ephedra Sinica) medicated serum group was significantly increased(P <0.01). Meanwhile, compared with the Mahuang(Herba Ephedra Sinica) medicated serum group, the migration quantity of cultured rat IM in the Wuweizi(Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis) medicated serum group was significantly increased(P < 0.01).CCR2, CCR5, Kv1. 3, and Kv1. 5 proteins were expressed on the AM cell surface, and showed significantly higher expression in the Mahuang(Herba Ephedra Sinica) medicated serum group compared with the Wuweizi(Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis)medicated serum group. In contrast, CCR5, Kv1.3,and Kv1.5 proteins were expressed on the IM cell surface, and showed significantly higher expression in the Wuweizi(Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis)medicated serum group compared with the Mahuang(Herba Ephedra Sinica) medicated serum group.CONCLUSION: Mahuang(Herba Ephedra Sinica)and Wuweizi(Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis) can promote AM and IM migration ability, with Mahuang(Herba Ephedra Sinica) targeting AM more apparently and Wuweizi(Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis) targeting IM more apparently. | 2 | Experimental Study on Thermal Management of Cylindrical Li-ion Battery with Flexible Microchannel Plates显示文摘A novel thermal management system of cylindrical Li-ion battery with the liquid cooling in flexible microchannel plate was established in the study. The experiments were conducted with R141 b in flexible microchannel plates. The cooling system with the flexible aluminum microchannels can effectively transfer heat from battery to the cooling refrigerant R141 b based on flow boiling. A battery module with five cells along flow channel was chosen to study the effects of contact surface area and mass flux on the thermal performance and electrochemical characteristics in the experiments. Three types of structure with different contact areas were studied and their performances were compared with the experiments without cooling structures. The experiments were carried out at the same discharge rate with the inlet mass flow rates of 0–10 kg/h. For the inlet mass flow rate of 5.98 kg/h, the surface temperature and temperature uniformity of battery were the best, and the output voltage and capacity of batteries were higher than those under other mass flow rates. With given inlet mass flow rates, the five series cells exhibited different electrochemical performances, including output voltage and discharge capacity, due to the different refrigerant flow states in the microchannels. | 10 | Carrageenan Fiber Prepared by a New Process Route of Ba^(2+)Ion Pre-Crosslinking in the Spinning Solution显示文摘Ba^(2+)pre-crosslinked carrageenan fiber(Ba/CAF)was prepared by adding a small amount of Ba2+to the carrageenan(CA)solution as the spinning solution.Ba/CAF-n/A,Ba/CAF-n/B and Ba/CAF-n/C were prepared with ethanol solution(combine A),high concentration BaCl_(2)solution(combine B)and low concentration BaCl_(2)solution(combine C),as coagulation bath and stretch bath,respectively.The combination of coagulation bath and stretch bath suitable for Ba2+pre-crosslinking wet spinning was screened.The results showed that Ba2+can induce the birefringence of the CA molecular chain,and the Ba2+pre-crosslinking effect is the best when the CA mass fraction is 8.0 wt%.From the perspective of production safety,fiber performance and spinning cost,the coagulation bath of 3.5 wt%BaCl_(2)solution and stretch bath of 1.7 wt%BaCl_(2)solution,that is,combination C with low concentration BaCl_(2)solution,is the best choice.Ba/CAF-8.0/C was obtained under the best conditions.The linear intensity,water absorption and flame retardancy study showed that the breaking strength of Ba/CAF-8.0/C is as high as 1.61 cN/dtex,the water absorption was 649.2%and 574.3%,in deionized water and normal saline,respectively,and the LOI value reached 32. | Liting Jia Xiao Han Cuixia Qiao Gang Zhao Yanzhi Xia Zhixin Xue | 2024 | Journal of Renewable Materials2024,12,3: | 0 |
