| 1 | Petroleum hydrocarbons and their effects on fishery species in the Bohai Sea, North China显示文摘Systematic studies on the changes in concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons (PHs) and their effects on fishery species in the Bohai Sea during 1974-2004 are presented. Changes in PHs concentrations were closely related to Yellow River runoff. Concentrations of PHs accumulated in fish and shrimp increased by about 0.712 mg/kg dry weight when trophic level of fish and shrimps increased by 1. Attention should also be paid to the high PHs concentrations in mollusks along the coastal waters of the Bohai Sea. Average concentration of PHs in the adjacent coastal waters of Tianjin City during 1996-2005 decreased the population growth rates of fish, crustaceans and mollusks in the Bohai Sea by 2.58%, 6.59% and 2.33%, respectively. | 2 | A novel colloidal gold immunochromatography assay strip for the diagnosis of schistosomiasis japonica in domestic animals显示文摘Background:Schistosomiasis remains a major public health concern in China and an epidemiological survey has revealed that schistosome-infected bovines and goats are the main transmission sources for the disease.Therefore,development of a sensitive technique for the diagnosis of schistosomiasis in domestic animals is necessary.Method:A novel colloidal gold immunochromatography assay(GICA)strip was developed for detecting Schistosoma japonicum in domestic animals.The colloidal gold was conjugated with recombinant streptococcal protein G(rSPG).As the test and control lines,the schistosome soluble egg antigen and rSPG,respectively,were blotted on nitrocellulose membrane.Results:The lowest detectable serum dilution was 1∶640 for schistosome-infected buffaloes.The cross-reaction rate of GICA was 14.29%with Paramphistomum sp.in buffaloes,16.67%with Haemonchus sp.in goats,and 33.33%with Orientobilharzia sp.in goats.These results were slightly lower and similar to those obtained through ELISA.Moreover,the strips for detecting S.japonicum in mice,rabbits,buffaloes,and goats showed high sensitivity(100.00%,100.00%,100.00%,and 100.00%,respectively)and specificity(100.00%,100.00%,94.23%,and 88.64%,respectively).And the sensitivity or specificity of the GICA strips did not present any significant differences after storage for 12 months at room temperature.When compared with ELISA,the GICA strips exhibited similar sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of schistosomiasis in mice,rabbits,buffaloes,and goats.Besides,only 5μl of serum are required for the test and the detection can be completed within 5 min.Conclusion:This study is the first to develop a GICA strip using gold-rSPG conjugate for the diagnosing of schistosomiasis in domestic animals,and preliminary results showed that the developed strip may be suitable for large-scale screening of schistosomiasis in endemic areas. | Rui Xu Jintao Feng Yang Hong Chao Lv Dengyun Zhao Jiaojiao Lin Ke Lu Hao Li Jinming Liu Xiaodan Cao Tao Wang Jinli Zai Zhaozhe Wang Bingguang Jia Qian Han Chuangang Zhu | 2017 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2017,6,1: | 12 |

| 4 | Spatial distributions and seasonal variations of particulate phosphorus in the Jiaozhou Bay in North China显示文摘Based on the measurements of particulate phosphorus(PP) in the Jiaozhou Bay from May 2003 to April 2004,the spatial distribution,seasonal variation and biogeochemical characteristics of PP were investigated to understand the fates and roles of phosphorus in the Jiaozhou Bay ecosystem.The concentration of the total PP ranged from 0.07 to 2.09 μmol/dm3.The concentration of POP was from 0.01 to 1.83 μmol/dm3,with an average of 0.32 μmol/dm3,which accounted for 49.6% in total PP.The concentration of PIP was from 0.01 to 1.49 μmol/dm3,with an average of 0.33 μmol/dm3,which accounted for 50.4% in total PP.In general,the concentrations of PP in surface water show obvious seasonal variations in the Jiaozhou Bay.POP was the highest in spring,which derived from the accumulation of phyto-detritus and was the lowest in autumn,which was decomposed into seawaters to participate the recycle of phosphorus.PIP was the highest in spring and summer and was the lowest in autumn and winter.PIP was mainly influenced by river input in the inner bay but POP derived from autochthonous source in the outer bay.Overall,the concentrations of PP in the inner bay were higher than those in mouth and the outer bay.In the inner bay,the concentrations of PP with the area near the shore were higher than those in the center of the bay.Totally PP showed the decreasing trend with depth especially in spring and winter.The high value of PP emerged in 20 and 10 m corresponding to summer and autumn,respectively.The changes of POP showed hysteretic effect compared with the changes of Chl a in the investigated year.However,according to the change of Chl a,the second high value of POP which should be emerged in October was missing due to the remineralization of POP and participation in the recycle of phosphorus,which lead to the high concentration of orthophosphate in seawaters. | YUAN Huamao SONG Jinming LI Ning LI Xuegang ZHANG Ying XU Sisi | 2009 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2009,28,1: | 5 |

| 6 | LCL-resonance damping strategies for grid-connected inverters with LCL filters: a comprehensive review显示文摘Grid-connected LCL-filtered inverters are commonly used for distributed power generators. The LCL resonance should be treated properly. Recently, many strategies have been used to damp the resonance, but the relationships between different damping strategies have not been thoroughly investigated. Thus, this study analyses the essential mechanisms of LCL-resonance damping and reviews state-of-the-art resonance damping strategies.Existing resonance damping strategies are classified into those with single-state and multi-state feedback. Singlestate feedback strategies damp the LCL resonance using feedback of a voltage or current state at the resonance frequency. Multi-state feedback strategies are summarized as zero-placement and pole-placement strategies, where the zero-placement strategy configures the zeros of a novel state combined by multi-state feedback, while the poleplacement strategy aims to assign the closed-loop poles freely. Based on these mechanisms, an investigation of single-state and multi-state feedback is presented, including detailed comparisons of the existing strategies. Herein, a facile and efficient strategy to prepare nitrogen-doped hierarchically porous carbon spheres was developed via co-pyrolyzation of poly(vinylidene chloride) and melamine in alginate gel beads. In this approach, melamine not only serves as the nitrogen precursor, but also acts as a template for the macropores structures. The nitrogen contents in the hierarchically porous carbon spheres reach a high level, ranging from 11.8 wt% to 14.7 wt%, as the melamine amount increases. | 9 | Ticagrelor inhibits the NLRP3 inflammasome to protect against inflammatory disease independent of the P2Y_(12 ) signaling pathway显示文摘Ticagrelor is the first reversibly binding oralP2Y_(12) receptor antagonist to inhibit platelet activation and has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of coronary artery disease. At present, the other pharmacological functions of ticagrelor remain poorly understood. The NOD-, LRR-, and pyrin domain-containing protein 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome plays a critical role in the innate immune system, but its excessive activation also contributes to the pathogenesis of complex diseases. In this study, we systematically examined the effects of ticagrelor on the NLRP3 inflammasome and found that ticagrelor inhibits NLRP3 inflammasome activation in macrophages independent of its classic inhibitory effect on theP2Y_(12) signaling pathway. Further mechanistic studies demonstrate that ticagrelor attenuates the oligomerization of apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a CARD (ASC) by blocking chloride efflux, an effect achieved through the degradation of chloride intracellular channel proteins (CLICs) and blockade of the translocation of CLICs to the plasma membrane. Moreover, experiments on lipopolysaccharide-induced sepsis and alum-induced peritonitis in mice confirmed that ticagrelor mitigates the severity of systemic inflammation independent ofP2Y_(12) receptor antagonism. Importantly, oral administration of ticagrelor rapidly and strongly inhibited NLRP3 inflammasome activation in peripheral blood mononuclear cells from patients with acute coronary syndrome. | 10 | Understanding cellulose dissolution: effect of the cation and anion structure of ionic liquids on the solubility of cellulose显示文摘The effect of ionic liquids(ILs) on the solubility of cellulose was investigated by changing their anions and cations. The structural variation included 11 kinds of cations in combination with 4 kinds of anions. The interaction between the IL and cellobiose, the repeating unit of cellulose, was clarified through nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) spectroscopy. The reason for different dissolving capabilities of various ILs was revealed. The hydrogen bonding interaction between the IL and hydroxyl was the major force for cellulose dissolution. Both the anion and cation in the IL formed hydrogen bonds with cellulose. Anions associated with hydrogen atoms of hydroxyls, and cations favored the formation of hydrogen bonds with oxygen atoms of hydroxyls by utilizing activated protons in imidazolium ring. | 11 | Climatology of Cloud-base Height from Long-term Radiosonde Measurements in China显示文摘Clouds are critical to the global radiation budget and hydrological cycle, but knowledge is still poor concerning the observed climatology of cloud-base height(CBH) in China. Based on fine-resolution sounding observations from the China Radiosonde Network(CRN), the method used to estimate CBH was modified, and uncertainty analyses indicated that the CBH is good enough. The accuracy of CBH estimation is verified by the comparison between the sounding-derived CBHs and those estimated from the micro-pulse lidar and millimeter-wave cloud radar. As such, the CBH climatology was compiled for the period 2006–16. Overall, the CBH exhibits large geographic variability across China, at both 0800 Local Standard Time(LST) and 2000 LST, irrespective of season. In addition, the summertime cloud base tends to be elevated to higher altitudes in dry regions [i.e., Inner Mongolia and the North China Plain(NCP)]. By comparison, the Tibetan Plateau(TP),Pearl River Delta(PRD) and Sichuan Basin(SCB) have relatively low CBHs(< 2.4 km above ground level). In terms of seasonality, the CBH reaches its maximum in summer and minimum in winter. A low cloud base tends to occur frequently(> 70%) over the TP, PRD and SCB. In contrast, at most sites over the Yangtze River Delta(YRD) and the NCP, about half the cloud belongs to the high-cloud category. The CBH does not exhibit marked diurnal variation in summer, throughout all CRN sites, probably due to the persistent cloud coverage caused by the East Asia Summer Monsson. | 13 | Clinical Comparison of Airway Stent Placement in Intervention Room and Operating Room显示文摘Background and objective Airway stent placement is the effective regimen for central airway obstruction(CAO),while its application scenarios varied.This study aimed to make clinical comparison of airway stent placement in the intervention room and operating room.Methods Patients underwent airway stent placement between 2014 and 2018 were included in this retrospective case-control study.Clinical performance of airway stent placement in intervention room and operating room were compared.Results 82 patients were included in this study,including 39 in the intervention room and 43 in the operating room.Patients treated in the intervention room had lower Charlson comorbidity index(CCI)(P=0.018)and received less Y-shaped stents(P<0.001).Better clinical response(P=0.026),more stents placed(P<0.001)and longer length of stent(P<0.001)were observed in operating room,while there was no significantly statistical difference of stent-related complications and post-stent survival rate between the two groups.Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)supported airway stent placement procedures were performed in the operating room,which provided definitive safety support for high-risk intervention.Conclusion Patients with CAO could benefit from the operating room scenario,and airway stent placement in the operating room is more suitable for patients with higher CCI scores and receiving more complicated procedures. | Ying WANG Jinming XU Qi WU Yuqiong ZHOU Zhou AN Wang LV Jian HU | 2020 | 中国肺癌杂志2020,23,6: | 2 |

| 18 | Integration of semi-in vivo assays and multi-omics data reveals the effect of galloylated catechins on self-pollen tube inhibition in Camellia oleifera显示文摘Camellia oil extracted from the seeds of Camellia oleifera Abel.is a popular and high-quality edible oil,but its yield is limited by seed setting,which is mainly caused by self-incompatibility(SI).One of the obvious biological features of SI plants is the inhibition of self-pollen tubes;however,the underlying mechanism of this inhibition in C.oleifera is poorly understood.In this study,we constructed a semi-in vivo pollen tube growth test(SIV-PGT)system that can screen for substances that inhibit self-pollen tubes without interference from the genetic background.Combined with multi-omics analysis,the results revealed the important role of galloylated catechins in self-pollen tube inhibition,and a possible molecular regulatory network mediated by UDP-glycosyltransferase(UGT)and serine carboxypeptidase-like(SCPL)was proposed.In summary,galloylation of catechins and high levels of galloylated catechins are specifically involved in pollen tube inhibition under self-pollination rather than cross-pollination,which provides a new understanding of SI in C.oleifera.These results will contribute to sexual reproduction research on C.oleifera and provide theoretical support for improving Camellia oil yield in production. | Yihong Chang Wenfang Gong Jinming Xu Han Gong Qiling Song Shixin Xiao Deyi Yuan | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,1: | 1 |

| 20 | The influence of macronitrogen (NO_3^- and NH_4^+) addition with U lva pertusa on dissolved inorganic carbon system显示文摘The influence of macronitrogen (NO - 3 and NH + 4 ) addition with Ulva pertusa on dissolved inorganic carbon system in seawater was studied. The results indicate that p(CO 2 ) and HCO 3 concentration decrease significantly, while pH and CO 2- 3 concentration increase significantly. When the concentration of NO 3 was less than 71 μmol/dm 3 or NH + 4 was less than 49.7 μmol/dm 3 , dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) absorption rates by Ulva pertusa generally increased with the increasing of nitrogen concentration. The DIC decreased 151 μmol/dm 3 with the addition of 71 μmol/dm 3 NO 3 and decreased 232 μmol/dm 3 with the addition of 49.7 μmol/dm 3 NH + 4 after the experiment compared with DIC measured without nitrogen addition. A significant negative-correlation was found between c(DIC) and growth rate (μ) of Ulva pertusa (r = -0.91, P <0.000 1, n=11).
