1Psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare workers:a cross-sectional study in China显示文摘Background Healthcare workers fighting against the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic are under tremendous pressure, which puts them at an increased risk of developing psychological problems.Aims This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of psychological problems in different healthcare workers(ie,physicians, medical residents, nurses, technicians and public health professionals)during the COVID-19 pandemic in China and explore factors that are associated with the onset of psychological problems in this population during this public health crisis. Methods A cross-sectional,web-based survey was conducted in February 2020 among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Psychological problems were assessed using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale,Patient Health Questionnaire and Insomnia Severity Index.Logistic regression analyses were used to explore the factors that were associated with psychological problems. Results The prevalence of symptoms of anxiety, depression, insomnia and the overall psychological problems in healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in China was 46.04%,44.37%,28.75%and 56.59%,respectively.The prevalence of the overall psychological problems in physicians, medical residents, nurses, technicians and public health professionals was 60.35%,50.82%,62.02%,57.54%and 62.40%,respectively.Compared with healthcare workers who did not participate in front-line work,front-line healthcare workers had a higher risk of anxiety, insomnia and overall psychological problems. In addition, attention to negative or neutral information about the pandemic, receiving negative feedback from families and friends who joined front-line work, and unwillingness to join front-line work if given a free choice were three major factors for these psychological problems. Conclusions Psychological problems are pervasive among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Receiving negative information and participating in front-line work appear to be.important risk factors for psychological problems. The psychological health of different healthcare workers should be protected during the COVID-19 pandemic with timely interventions and proper information feedback.Jianyu Que Le Shi Jiahui Deng Jiajia Liu Li Zhang Suying Wu Yimiao Gong Weizhen Huang Kai Yuan Wei Yan Yankun Sun Maosheng Ran Yanping Bao Lin Lu 2020General Psychiatry2020,33,3:8
2Restraining migration and dissolution of transition-metal-ions via functionalized separator for Li-rich Mn-based cathode with high-energy-density显示文摘Lithium-rich manganese-based materials(LRMs) are promising cathode for high-energy-density lithiumion batteries due to their high capacity, low toxicity, and low cost. However,LRMs suffer from serious voltage decay and capacity fade due to continual migration and dissolution of transition metal ions(TMs) during cycling process.Herein,a novel strategy is proposed to inhibit the TMs migration of LRMs through a modified separator by means of functionalized carbon coating layer, which depends on the chemical constraint of the abundant functional groups in the modified super P.In addition,it has been found that the dissolution of TMs can be restrained based on the Le Chatelier's principle. Moreover, the modified separator owns good wettability toward the electrolyte. As a result, the LRMs cathode with the modified separator delivers a high discharge capacity of 329.93 mA h g-1 at 0.1 C,and achieves good cyclic performance, the enhanced reaction kinetics and low voltage decay. Therefore, this work provides a new idea to promote the comprehensive electrochemical performances of Li-ion batteries with LRMs cathode through a strategy of separator modification.Zhi Li Bao Zhang Gangyong Li Shuang Cao Changmeng Guo Heng Li Ruijuan Wang Jiarui Chen Lei Wu Jiajia Huang Yansong Bai Xianyou Wang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,9:0
3Identification of New Allele of FLOURY ENDOSPERM2 in White-Core Endosperm Mutant of Rice显示文摘Identification of regulatory genes from chalky/floury endosperm mutants is an important approach to understand the mechanism of starch biosynthesis to accelerate rice grain quality improvement.A mutant GM645,identified from 60Coγ-irradiation of an indica rice Guanglu’ai 4(GLA4),exhibited white-core endosperm and altered starch physicochemical properties. However, the causal gene responsible for the white-core endosperm in GM645 has not been identified. Here,we developed a recombined inbred line(RIL,F7)population derived from a cross between GM645 and a japonica rice Tainong 67(TN67)with translucent endosperm.Bulkedsegregant analysis combined with next generation sequencing revealed five single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)in four candidate genes that were highly associated with the white-core endosperm.Among them, one base pair deletion in Os04g0645100 resulted in a frame shift mutation after the 983th amino acid(aa),and a premature stop codon occurred after the other 11 aa.Moreover, functional annotation revealed that Os04g0645100 was previously characterized as the FLOURY ENDOSPERM2(FLO2)gene.Full-length coding sequence from Os04g0645100 driven by the maize ubiquitin promoter was transformed into GM645,and seeds from these transgenic plants expressing Os04g0645100 were largely rescued to translucent, indicating that Os04g0645100 was responsible for the whitecore endosperm in GM645.BAO Jinsong ZHANG Yu ZHAO Jiajia CHEN Yaling WU Weixun CAO Liyong XU Feifei 2022Rice science2022,29,5:0
