| 1 | Nanorattle Au@PtAg encapsulated in ZIF-8 for enhancing CO2 photoreduction to CO显示文摘Imidazolate-based ZIF-8 catalysts M@ZIF-8 (M = Au NR, Au@Ag NR, or Au@PtAg NRT;NR = nanorod, NRT = nanorattle), were assembled. Au NRs acted as the core for the epitaxial growth of the Ag shell, and oxidative etching of Au@Ag NRs led to Au@PtAg NRTs with K2PQI4 aqueous soluti on. All metal nano rods (MNRs) and metal nano rattles (MNRTs) were well dispersed and fully en capsulated in ZIF-8. Au @ PtAg NRTs encapsulated in ZIF-8 could lead to enhanced stability and selectivity for catalytic applications, combining the advantages of ZIF-8 (tailorable porosity) with the high surface area and improved optical sensitivity of rod-shaped NRTs. | 2 | Composites of sodium manganese oxides with enhanced electrochemical performance for sodium-ion batteries: Tailoring properties via controlling microstructure显示文摘Composites of Na_(0.44)Mn O_2, Na_(0.7)Mn O_(2.05), and Na_(0.91) Mn O_2 were synthesized by facile solid-state reaction, ball milling, and annealing methods. Two different composites of identical overall composition but drastically different morphologies and microstructures were synthesized. A composite of a hierarchical porous microstructure with primary and secondary particles(i.e., a 'meatball-like' microstructure) achieved an excellent stable capacity of 126 m A h g^(-1) after 100 cycles. The rate capability of the composite could be dramatically enhanced by another round of high-energy ball milling and reannealing; subsequently, a composite that was made up of irregular rods was obtained, for which the capacity was improved by more than 230% to achieve ~53 m A h g^(-1) at a particularly high discharge rate of 50 C. | 4 | Et_3NHCl-AlCl_3 Ionic Liquids as Catalyst for Alkylation of Toluene with 2-Chloro-2-methylpropane显示文摘Alkylation of toluene with 2-chloro-2-methylpropane (t-Bu-Cl) to synthesize para-tert-butyltoluene (PTBT) was carried out in the presence of triethylamine hydrochloride-aluminum chloride ionic liquids used as the catalyst. The ionic liquids were prepared with different molar ratios of Et3NHCl to AlCl3 , and the effect of the molar ratio between AlCl 3 and Et3NHCl, the reaction time, the reaction temperature, the ionic liquid dosage, as well as the molar ratio of toluene to chloro-2-methylpropane on the alkylation reaction of toluene with chloro-2-methyl-propane was investigated. The test results showed that the acidic ionic liquids prepared with Et3NHCl and AlCl3 had good activity and selectivity for the alkylation reaction of toluene with alkyl chloride to produce PTBT. The optimal reaction conditions were specified at anAlCl3 to Et3NHCl ratio of 1.6, a reaction temperature of 20℃, a mass fraction of toluene to ionic liquid of 10%, and a chloro-2-methylpropane to toluene molar ratio of 0.5. Under the suitable reaction conditions, a 98% conversion of chloro-2-methylpropane and an 82.5% selectivity of PTBT were obtained. | 5 | Enhancement of oxygen reduction activity and stability via introducing acid-resistant refractory Mo and regulating the near-surface Pt content显示文摘Although Pt Ni catalyst possesses good oxygen reduction activity, its poor stability is the main obstacle for the commercialization of proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFCs). In this work, we introduce the acid-resistant refractory Mo to enhance the structure stability and modify the electronic structure of Pt in the prepared PtNi catalyst, improving the catalytic activity for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR). In addition, near-surface Pt content in the nanoparticle is also optimized to balance the ORR activity and stability. The electrochemical results show that the alloy formed by Mo and Pt Ni is obviously more stable than the PtNi alloy alone, because the acid-resistant Mo and its oxides effectively prevent the dissolution of Pt. Especially, the Pt3 Ni3 MoN/C exhibits the optimal ORR catalytic performance in O2-saturated 0.1 mol L^(-1) HClO4 aqueous solutions, with mass activity(MA) of 900 m A mg^(-1) Pt at 0.90 V vs. RHE, which is 3.75 times enhancement compared with the commercial Pt/C(240 mA mg^(-1) Pt). After 30 k accelerated durability tests, its MA(690 m A mg^(-1) Pt) is still 2.88 times higher than the pristine Pt/C. | 7 | Experimental study of partially decoupled oxidation of ethane for producing ethylene and acetylene显示文摘With increasing amount of unconventional natural gas,the production of ethane,propane and other low alkanes continues to increase.In our previous works,a partially decoupled process(PDP) was proposed for conversion of ethane based on numerical simulations,which showed higher acetylene and ethylene selectivities than the original partial oxidation process.In the current work,the PDP of ethane for producing acetylene and ethylene was studied experimentally to verify the PDP concept.In the PDP of ethane,coke-oven gas or other cheap gas combusts with stoichiometric oxygen as heat carrier,and ethane is mixed with the heat carrier and undergoes pyrolysis at high temperatures.The jet-in-cross-flow(JICF) reactor was designed and manufactured to realize the PDP.A positioning device of 0.1 mm accuracy and a mass spectrometer were used to measure the spatial profiles of the species concentrations.The maximum combined yield(52.7%) of acetylene and ethylene was obtained even at the condition of heat loss,confirming that the PDP of ethane was advantageous over the partial oxidation process and at least comparable to the steam cracking process. | Jiajia Luo Jinfu Wang Tiefeng Wang | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,6: | 1 |
| 8 | Parallelized microfluidic droplet generators with improved ladder-tree distributors for production of monodisperseγ-Al_(2)O_(3)microspheres显示文摘In this paper,we present a parallelized microfluidic device with improved ladder-tree distributors for the scaled-up production of monodisperse microspheres.Owing to the improved distribution form comprising a ladder distributor in the center and tree distributors around the circumference,the uniformity of the generated droplets for our device was improved by 32.9%and 86.1%compared to those achieved in devices with conventional tree and ladder distributors,respectively,in the final production stage with 32 droplet generators,indicating the potential of our device for further scale-up while maintaining the monodispersity of the generated droplets.The effect of the 2D scale-up of our device was investigated by varying the continuous-phase flow rate and viscosity.Using our device,γ-Al_(2)O_(3)microspheres with a diameter of 598.1μm and a CV of 2.58%,as catalyst support for microreactors,were continuously synthesized at high production rate.The nickel-based catalyst prepared fromγ-Al_(2)O_(3)microspheres with large specific surface area and pore volume had an average NiO size of 14 nm,which was 60.9%of that supported on industrial support.The CO methanation conversion of the Ni@Al_(2)O_(3)microspheres was 1.7 times larger than Ni@Al_(2)O_(3)industrial support at 140℃. | Huilin Yi Shuliang Lu Jiajia Wu Yujun Wang Guangsheng Luo | 2022 | Particuology2022,20,3: | 1 |
| 9 | Global trends and regional differences in non-transport unintentional injuries mortality among children and adolescents, 1990 to 2019: results from the Global Burden of Disease 2019 study显示文摘Background::Non-transport unintentional injuries(NTUIs)are major public concerns,especially among children and adolescents in low-and middle-income countries.With environmental and cognitive changes,a recent systematic description of global trends and regional differences concerning NTUIs is urgently needed for the global agenda of relevant policy-making and intervention target findings.Methods::We used mortality,population,and socio-demographic-index(SDI)data from Global Burden of Disease 2019 to analyze the trends of NTUIs mortality.We applied the slope index of inequality(SII)and relative index of inequality(RII)to measure the absolute and relative inequality between countries and territories.The concentration curve and concentration index(CI)were also used to measure the inequality.We conducted a sensitivity analysis to make our findings credible.Results::In 2019,there were 205,000 deaths due to NTUIs among children and adolescents aged 5 to 24 years,which decreased from 375,000 in 1990.In 2019,the age-standardized mortality rate(ASMR)was 8.13 per 100,000,ranging from the lowest in the Netherlands(0.90 per 100,000)to the highest in the Solomon Islands(29.34 per 100,000).The low-middle SDI group had the highest ASMR of NTUIs,while the low SDI group had the slowest decrease.After excluding the death caused by'exposure to forces of nature'and'other unintentional injuries',drowning accounted for the most deaths in almost every SDI group,gender,and age group,but the major causes of death varied in different subgroups.For example,animal contact was a major cause in low and low-middle SDI groups but less in high SDI groups,while high and high-middle SDI groups had a higher proportion of deaths for foreign body and poisonings.The SII showed a declining trend,but the RII and CI did not,which might indicate that inequality was persistent.Similar results were found in the sensitivity analysis.Conclusions::Despite the declining trend of the mortality rate and the narrowing gap between countries,there were still a large number of children and adolescents dying from NTUIs,and those experiencing social-economic disadvantages remained at high mortality.Embedding the prevention of NTUIs into sustainable development goals might contribute to the progress of reducing death and inequalities,which ensures that no one is left behind. | Yunfei Liu Yanhui Dong Xiaojin Yan Ning Ma Jiajia Dang Jingshu Zhang Panliang Zhong Luo Li Zhiyong Zou Yi Song Jun Ma | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,17: | 1 |

| 13 | Lipopolysaccharide/Toll-like receptor 4 signaling pathway involved Qingdu decoction treating severe liver injury merging with endotoxemia显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the protective effects and underlying mechanism of Qingdu decoction(QDD) on experimental rats with severe liver injury induced by thioacetamide(TAA).METHODS: A total of 40 Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal group(n = 10) and experimental group(n = 30). Rats were administrated the same content of saline in normal group. The rats inthe experimental group were pretreated with TAA at dose of 12 mg/kg lasting 8 weeks, and from 9th week to 12 th week, with TAA at concentration of 36mg/kg. During the 9th week to 12 th week period,the rats were randomly divided into three subgroups(n = 10 each) simultaneously based on the treatment categories: model group, lactulose(LA,3.5 m L/kg) group and QDD(5.95 g/kg) group, orally once per day respectively. At the 12 th week, the content of serum alanine transaminase(ALT), aspartate transaminase(AST), total bilirubin(TBIL), endotoxin(ET) and tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α) was detected by automatic biochemical analyzer. The plasma prothrombin time(PT), prothrombin time-international normalized ratio(PTR) and prothrombin time activity(PTA) were measured by automatic coagulation analyzer. | 18 | Simultaneous integrated dose reduction intensity-modulated radiotherapy effectively reduces cardiac toxicity in limited-stage small cell lung cancer显示文摘Objective:To assess the clinical outcomes and toxicities of once daily(QD)simultaneous dose reduction intensity-modulated radiotherapy(SDR-IMRT-QD;SDR-QD)versus conventional QD IMRT(C-QD)and twice daily(BID)IMRT in patients with limited-stage small cell lung cancer(LS-SCLC).Methods:After propensity score matching(PSM),a retrospective analysis involving 300 patients with LS-SCLC treated using SDR-QD,C-QD,or BID was performed from January 1,2014 to December 31,2019.The prescribed irradiation dose in the SDR-QD cohort was 60 Gy/PGTV and 54 Gy/PTV QD.The radiation dose was 60 Gy for both PGTV and PTV QD in the C-QD cohort.The radiation dose was 45 Gy for both PGTV and PTV in the BID cohort.Toxicities,short-term effects,and survival outcomes were recorded.A meta-analysis on the protective effects of pharmaceuticals for cardiac toxicities induced by anti-tumor therapy was performed.Results:The median overall survival time(MST)in the 3 cohorts were 32.7 months(SDR-QD),26.3 months(C-QD),and 33.6 months(BID);the differences between groups were statistically significant.Lower toxicities and doses to organs-at-risk(OARs)occurred in the SDR-QD and BID cohorts.Further,the cardiac dose dosimetric parameter Vheart40 was negatively associated with survival(r=-0.35,P=0.007).A Vheart40 value of 16.5%was recommended as a cut-off point,which yielded 54.7%sensitivity and 85.7%specificity for predicting negative survival outcomes.The meta-analysis indicated that pharmaceuticals significantly reduced the cardiac toxicities induced by chemotherapy,but not radiotherapy.Conclusions:SDR-QD was shown to have similar toxicities and survival compared with BID,but fewer toxicities and better survival than C-QD.In addition,cardiac dose exposure was negatively associated with survival.Thus,16.5%of the cardiac dosimetric parameter Vheart40 is recommended as the cut-off point,and a Vheart40>16.5%predicts poor survival. | Jing Luo Jiawei Song Li Xiao Jiajia Zhang Yipeng Cao Jun Wang Ping Wang Lujun Zhao Ningbo Liu | 2023 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2023,20,6: | 0 |
