| 1 | ACPAs promote IL-1β production in rheumatoid arthritis by activating the NLRP3 inflammasome显示文摘OBJECTIVES:Anti-citrullinated protein antibodies(ACPAs)are a group of autoantibodies targeted against citrullinated proteins/peptides and are informative rheumatoid arthritis(RA)biomarkers.ACPAs also play a crucial role in RA pathogenesis,and their underlying mechanism merits investigation.METHODS:Immunohistochemical(IHC)assays were carried out to determine IL-1βlevels in ACPA+and ACPA−RA patients.PBMCderived monocytes were differentiated into macrophages before stimulation with ACPAs purified from RA patients.The localization and interaction of molecules were analyzed by confocal microscopy,co-IP,and surface plasmon resonance.RESULTS:In our study,we found that IL-1βlevels were elevated in ACPA+RA patients and that ACPAs promoted IL-1βproduction by PBMC-derived macrophages.ACPAs interacted with CD147 to enhance the interaction between CD147 and integrinβ1 and,in turn,activate the Akt/NF-κB signaling pathway.The nuclear localization of p65 promoted the expression of NLRP3 and pro-IL-1β,resulting in priming.Moreover,ACPA stimulation activated pannexin channels,leading to ATP release.The accumulated ATP bound to the P2X7 receptor,leading to NLRP3 inflammasome activation.CONCLUSIONS:Our study suggests a new hypothesis regarding IL-1βproduction in RA involving ACPAs,which may be a potential therapeutic target in RA treatment. | Xiwen Dong Zhaohui Zheng Peng Lin Xianghui Fu Fanni Li Jianli Jiang Ping Zhu | 2020 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,3: | 11 |

| 3 | Si-substrate vertical-structure InGaN/GaN micro-LED-based photodetector for beyond 10 Gbps visible light communication显示文摘Visible light communication(VLC)has emerged as a promising communication method in 6G.However,the development of receiving devices is much slower than that of transmitting devices,limited by materials,structures,and fabrication.In this paper,we propose and fabricate an InGaN/GaN multiple-quantum-well-based vertical-structure micro-LED-based photodetector(μPD)on a Si substrate.A comprehensive comparison of the photoelectrical performance and communication performance of three sizes ofμPDs,10,50,and 100μm,is presented.The peak responsivity of all threeμPDs is achieved at 400 nm,while the passband full-widths at half maxima are 87,72,and 78 nm for 10,50,and 100μmμPDs,respectively.The−20 dB cutoff bandwidth is up to 822 MHz for 50μmμPD.A data rate of 10.14 Gbps is experimentally demonstrated by bit and power loading discrete multitone modulation and the proposed digital pre-equalizer algorithm over 1 m free space utilizing the self-designed 4×450μmμPD array as a receiver and a 450 nm laser diode as a transmitter.This is the first time a more than 10 Gbps VLC system has been achieved utilizing a GaN-based micro-PD,to the best of our knowledge.The investigation fully demonstrates the superiority of Si substrates and vertical structures in InGaN/GaNμPDs and shows its great potential for high-speed VLC links beyond 10 Gbps. | JIANYANG SHI ZENGYI XU WENQING NIU DONG LI XIAOMING WU ZIWEI LI JUNWEN ZHANG CHAO SHEN GUANGXU WANG XIAOLAN WANG JIANLI ZHANG FENGYI JIANG SHAOHUA YU NAN CHI | 2022 | Photonics Research2022,10,10: | 5 |

| 5 | Edaravone promotes functional recovery after mechanical peripheral nerve injury显示文摘Edaravone has been shown to reduce ischemia/reperfusion-induced peripheral nerve injury. However, the therapeutic effect of edaravone on peripheral nerve injury caused by mechanical factors is unknown. In the present study, we established a peripheral nerve injury model by crushing the sciatic nerve using hemostatic forceps, and then administered edaravone 3 mg/kg intraperitoneally. The sciatic functional index and superoxide dismutase activity of the sciatic nerve were increased, and the malondialdehyde level was decreased in animals in the edaravone group compared with those in the model group. Bcl-2 expression was increased, but Bax expression was decreased in anterior horn cells of the L4–6 spinal cord segments. | 9 | Highly Anisotropic Magnetism and Nearly Isotropic Magnetocaloric Effect in Mn_(3)Sn_(2)Single Crystals显示文摘Mn_(3)Sn_(2)has been proposed as an ideal material for magnetic refrigeration.It undergoes two successive ferromagnetic transitions(T_(C1)=262 K and T_(C2)=227 K)and one antiferromagnetic transition(TN=192 K).Herein we report,for the first time,the preparation of single crystals of Mn_(3)Sn_(2)from Bi flux.The resultant anisotropic magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect are investigated along the three principal crystallographic directions of the crystal.Significant anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility and multiple field-induced metamagnetic transitions were found at low fields,whereas the magnetocaloric effect was found to be almost isotropic and larger than that of the polycrystalline one.The maximum magnetic entropy change amounts to-ΔSM=4.01 J·kg^(-1)·K^(-1)near T_(C1)under a magnetic field change of μ_(0)ΔH=5 T along the c-axis,with the corresponding refrigerant capacity of 1750 mJ·cm^(-3).Combined with a much wider cooling temperature span(~80 K),our results demonstrate Mn_(3)Sn_(2)single crystal to be an attractive candidate working material for active magnetic refrigeration at low temperatures. | Jianli Bai Qingxin Dong Libo Zhang Qiaoyu Liu Jingwen Cheng Pinyu Liu Cundong Li Yingrui Sun Yu Huang Zhian Ren Genfu Chen | 2023 | Chinese Physics Letters2023,40,12: | 0 |
| 10 | Crystal defect engineering of Bi_(2)Te_(3)nanosheets by Ce doping for efficient electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction显示文摘Electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)is a promising method for the synthesis of ammonia(NH3).However,the electrochemical NRR process remains a great challenge in achieving a high NH3 yield rate and a high Faradaic efficiency(FE)due to the extremely strong N≡N bonds and the competing hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Recently,bismuth telluride(Bi_(2)Te_(3))with two-dimensional layered structure has been reported as a promising catalyst for N_(2)fixation.Herein,to further enhance its NRR activity,a general doping strategy is developed to introduce and modulate the crystal defects of Bi_(2)Te_(3)nanosheets by adjusting the amount of Ce dopant(denoted as Ce_(x)-Bi_(2)Te_(3),where x represents the designed molar ratio of Ce/Bi).Meanwhile,the crystal defects can be designed and controlled by means of ion substitution and charge compensation.At−0.60 V versus the reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE),Ce_(0.3)-Bi_(2)Te_(3)exhibits a high NH_(3) yield(78.2μg·h^(−1)·mgcat^(−1)),a high FE(19.3%),excellent structural and electrochemical stability.Its outstanding catalytic activity is attributed to the tunable crystal defects by Ce doping.This work not only contributes to enhancing the NRR activity of Bi_(2)Te_(3)nanosheets,but also provides a reliable approach to prepare high-performance electrocatalysts by controlling the type and concentration of crystal defects for artificial N_(2)fixation. | Jianli Nan Yongqin Liu Daiyong Chao Youxing Fang Shaojun Dong | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,5: | 0 |
| 11 | Effects of drought on non-structural carbohydrates and C,N,and P stoichiometric characteristics of Pinus yunnanensis seedlings显示文摘To study non-structural carbohydrate character-istics and nutrient utilization strategies of Pinus yunnanen-sis under continuous drought conditions,2-year-old seed-lings were planted in pots with appropriate water,light and moderate and severe drought treatments[(80±5),(65±5),(50±5),and(35±5)%of field water-holding capacity].Non-structural carbohydrates,carbon(C),nitrogen(N),and phosphorus(P)concentrations were measured in each plant component.The results show that:(1)With increasing drought,non-structural carbohydrates gradually increased in leaves,stems,and coarse roots,while gradually decreased in fine roots;(2)C concentrations of all were relatively stable under different stress levels.Phosphorous utilization of each component increased under light and moderate drought conditions,while N and P utilization efficiency of each plant component decreased under severe drought.Growth was mainly restricted by N,first decreasing and then increasing with increased drought;(3)There was a correlation between the levels of non-structural carbohydrates and C,N,and P in each component.Changes in N concentration affected the interconversion between soluble sugar and starch,which play a regulatory role in the fluctuation of the concentration of non-structural carbohydrates;and,(4)Plasticity analysis showed that P.yunnanensis seedlings responded to drought mainly by altering starch concentration,the ratio of soluble sugar to starch in leaves and stems,and further by alter-ing N and P utilization efficiencies.Overall,these results suggest that the physiological activities of all organs of P.yunnanensis seedlings are restricted under drought and that trade-offs exist between different physiological indicators and organs.Our findings are helpful in understanding non-structural carbohydrate and nutrient adaptation mechanisms under drought in P.yunnanensis seedlings. | Zhijuan Zhao Lina Wang Yuanxi Liu Jianli Sun Jiandong Xiao Qiong Dong Lianfang Li Wanjie Zhang Chao Wang Junwen Wu | 2024 | Journal of Forestry Research2024,35,1: | 0 |
