| 1 | HIF-1α-induced expression of m6A reader YTHDF1 drives hypoxia-induced autophagy and malignancy of hepatocellular carcinoma by promoting ATG2A and ATG14 translation显示文摘N6-methyladenosine(m6A),and its reader protein YTHDF1,play a pivotal role in human tumorigenesis by affecting nearly everystage of RNA metabolism.Autophagy activation is one of the ways by which cancer cells survive hypoxia.However,the possibleinvolvement of m6A modification of mRNA in hypoxia-induced autophagy was unexplored in human hepatocellular carcinoma(HCO).In this study,specific variations in YTHDF1 expression were detected in YTHDF1-overexpressing,knockout,and-knockdownHCC cells,HCC organoids,and HCC patient-derived xenograft(PDX)murine models.YTHDF1 expression and hypoxia inducedautophagy were significantly correlated in vitro;signifhcant overexpression of YTHDF1 in HCC tissues was associated with poorprognosis,Multivariate cox regression analysis identihed YTHDF1 expression as an independent prognostic factor in patients withHCC.Multiple HC models conhrmed that YTHDF1 deficiency inhibited HCC autophagy,growth,and metastasis.Luciferase reporterassays and chromatin immunoprecipitation demonstrated that HlIF-1a regulated YTHDF1 transcription by directly binding to itspromoter region under hypoxia.The results of methylated RNA immunoprecipitation sequencing,proteomics,and polysomeprofling indicated that YTHDF1 contibuted to the translation of autophagy-related genes ATG2A and ATG14 by binding to m6A-modifhed ATG2A and ATG14 mRNA,thus facilitating autophagy and autophagy-related malignancy of HCC.Taken together,HlE-1d-induced YTHDF1 expression was associated with hypoxia-induced autophagy and autophagy-related HCC progression via promoting translation of autophagy-related genes ATG2A and ATG14 in a m6A-dependent manner.Our fndings suggest thatYTHDF1 is a potential prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target for patients with HCC. | Qing Li Yong Ni Liren Zhang Runqiu Jiang Jing Xu Hong Yang Yuanchang Hu Jiannan Qiu Liyong Pu Jinhai Tang Xuehao Wang | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,3: | 24 |
| 2 | Biomimetic fabrication and characterization of an artificial rice leaf surface with anisotropic wetting显示文摘In nature,rice leaves exhibit special anisotropic sliding capabilities.Although researchers have succeeded in fabricating artificial rice leaf structures and realizing the wettability function of the leaf surface,these methods used to date are complex and do not allow the fabrication of surfaces with large area.Herein,we adopted a simple technology—two steps soft transfer to fabricate biomimetic rice leaf.The fabricated surface well reproduced the structures of the rice leaf surface and exhibited a static superhydrophobic property similar to that of the real rice leaf surface.In terms of its dynamic wettability,it clearly exhibited an anisotropic sliding property.Systematic measurements showed that the sliding angles parallel and perpendicular with the vein direction were 25° and 40°,respectively.The method was simple and reliable,without the need for expensive instruments and complex technologies,which could be used for the rapid fabrication of large-area artificial rice leaf surfaces.We believe that the artificial rice leaf surface fabricated by this method has great potential applications in biomimetic functional surfaces,microfluidics,and so on. | YAO Jia WANG JianNan YU YanHao YANG Han XU Ying | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,20: | 11 |

| 5 | Interaction between uranium and humic acid(Ⅰ):Adsorption behaviors of U(Ⅵ) in soil humic acids显示文摘The adsorption behaviors of uranium on three soil humic acids (HAs), which were extracted from soils of different depths at the same site, were investigated under various experimental conditions. The adsorption results showed that U(Ⅵ) in solutions can be adsorbed by the three soil HAs, with the order of FHA (HA from 5 m depth of soil) >SHA (HA from the surface) >THA (HA from 10 m depth of soil) for adsorption efficiency in each desirable condition, and the adsorption reached equilibrium in about 240 min. Although the maximum adsorption efficiency was achieved at a suitable uranium concentration (10 mg·L-1 U(Ⅵ) for SHA and THA, 20 mg·L-1 U(Ⅵ) for FHA), the adsorption could be described with Langmiur isotherm or Freundlich isotherm equation. The L/S (liquid/solid, mL/g) ratio and pH were important factors influencing the adsorption in our adsorption system besides uranium concentration. The adsorption efficiency decreased with the increase of the L/S ratio and pH at the pH range of 2.0-3.0 for SHA and THA or 2.5-6.0 for FHA. However, no significant difference in adsorption of U(Ⅵ) was observed at the experimental temperature. | 6 | Interaction between uranium and humic acid (Ⅱ): complexation, precipitation and migration behavior of U(Ⅵ) in the presence of humic substances显示文摘The complexation, precipitation, and migration behavior of uranium in the presence of humic acid (HA) or fulvic acid (FA) were investigated by cation exchange, ultrafiltration and dynamic experiment, respectively. The results showed that (i) complex equilibrium between the uranium and humic substances was achieved at approximately 72 h, (ii) the coordination number varied from 1:1 to 1:2 ( U(Ⅵ) : humic acid) as pH increased from 3 to 6; and (iii) , while the complex stability constant decreased when temperature increased, but increased with pH value. We found that the precipitation of uranyl could only be observed in presence of HA, and the precipitation was influenced by conditions, such as pH, uranium concentration, temperature, and the HA concentration. The maximum precipitation proportion up to 60% could be achieved in the condition of 40 mg/L HA solution at pH 6. | 16 | Impact history and origin of lunar meteorite Northwest Africa 15528显示文摘No samples from the Moon’s far side have been returned to Earth.Thus,lunar meteorite study can deepen the understanding of the Moon’s far side(if we can identify which lunar meteorites came from the Moon’s far side).The Northwest Africa(NWA)15528 meteorite is a lunar feldspathic regolith breccia meteorite and we speculated it might originate from the Feldspathic Highlands Terrane(FHT)on the far side of the Moon.Here,we report detailed petrography,major and trace elements,and noble gas(He,Ne,and Ar)isotopes for the clasts and matrix,respectively.The results show that the NWA 15528 lunar meteorite contains diverse clasts,including anorthosite,granulite,basalt,and impact melt clasts.The coarse,wellcrystallized,uniform chemical composition minerals may come from intrusive plutonic rocks.Among the anorthosite clasts,the norite/olivine clasts originate from the deep lunar crust,whereas the other anorthosite clasts are from lunar highlands.The Sm concentrations in NWA 15528 were similar to those in the fourth group of Apollo 16 melt samples,demonstrating that NWA 15528 has a typical plagioclase highland meteorite composition.Compared with the Apollo sample data and remote sensing results,the chemical composition of NWA 15528 indicated strong affinities with the FHT area and ferroan anorthosite(FAN)material from the far side of the Moon.The noble gas isotopic composition of NWA 15528 is consistent with a binary mixture of solar wind and cosmogenic components;during stepwise pyrolytic extractions,we observed that the abundance of cosmogenic components decreased,whereas that of solar wind components increased with increasing temperature.The average cosmic-ray exposure(CRE)age of the matrix and granulite is 42±6 Ma,with a shielding depth in the same range of 10-20 g cm^(−2).The gas retention age of NWA 15528 is 2.14 Ga,and the antiquity age of NWA 15528 is(0.69-0.74)±0.2 Ga(considering 50%40Arm is 40Artrap)which indicates the different clasts of NWA 15528 are assembled after 0.69-0.74 Ga. | Runchuan LIU Huaiyu HE Thomas SMITH Hanqing YE Huapei WANG Xuhang ZHANG Fei SU Ziheng LIU Wei GUO Peng YANG Chuantong ZHANG Dingshuai Xue Ting CAO Jiannan LI Xuelong JIANG Ye HE Chao LU | 2023 | Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,6: | 0 |

| 18 | A Simulation Study on the Clouds Microphysical Processes of Heavy Precipitation in Hebei Area Caused by'Lekima'显示文摘During the period of the super typhoon'Lekima'(No.1909)landed on the coast of North China,a high-resolution numerical simulation study was carried out with the WRF model on the clouds microphysical process of heavy precipitation.The results showed that(1)the water vapor convergence tended to develop and strengthen on the way forward of typhoon center,and the evolution of water vapor convergence zone was closely related to the development of typhoon asymmetric structure,and had a good corresponding relationship with the falling zone of the rainstorm.(2)The eastern coast of Hebei was located in the big-value area of water vapor transport belt in the northwest quadrant of the typhoon.Below 850 hPa,northeast wind appeared,and warm humid water vapor was transported from marine area to terrestrial by typhoon.Affected by upper-level westerly trough,westerly wind was dominated above 700 hPa,and water vapor convergence was transported from low level to upper level,and several rainstorm center appeared.(3)In the spiral rain bands of typhoon,the big-value center of graupel particles cooperated with the warm cloud enriched with water content,and the ground would produce a center of heavy precipitation,and the precipitation center of pure warm cloud appeared in 117.5°E.This phenomenon rarely occurred during continental cloud precipitation.Therefore,the contribution of warm cloud precipitation mechanism to the typhoon spiral rain belt should be emphasized. | Min PENG Wenxia YANG Zhihui WU Jiannan ZHANG Yang YANG Shaoyu HOU | 2023 | Meteorological and Environmental Research2023,14,4: | 0 |
