| 1 | Identity-based public auditing for cloud storage systems against malicious auditors via blockchain显示文摘Cloud storage systems provide users with convenient data storage services, which allow users to access and update outsourced data remotely. However, these cloud storage services do not guarantee the integrity of the data that users store in the cloud. Thus, public auditing is necessary, in which a third-party auditor(TPA) is delegated to audit the integrity of the outsourced data. This system allows users to enjoy on-demand cloud storage services without the burden of continually auditing their data integrity. However,certain TPAs might deviate from the public auditing protocol and/or collude with the cloud servers. In this article, we propose an identity-based public auditing(IBPA) scheme for cloud storage systems. In IBPA,the nonces in a blockchain are employed to construct unpredictable and easily verified challenge messages,thereby preventing the forging of auditing results by malicious TPAs to deceive users. Users need only to verify the TPAs' auditing results in batches to ensure the integrity of their data that are stored in the cloud.A detailed security analysis shows that IBPA can preserve data integrity against various attacks. | 2 | Adsorption of Cd(Ⅱ) from acidic aqueous solutions by tourmaline as a novel material显示文摘Batch experiments were conducted to investigate the behavior and mechanisms for the adsorption of Cd(Ⅱ) from aqueous solutions by tourmaline under acidic conditions. The results indicated that the adsorption of Cd(Ⅱ) significantly depend on the adsorption time, temperature, and the initial concentration of the metal ion. Furthermore, tourmaline had a very good adsorption capacity for Cd(Ⅱ) in acidic, neutral and alkaline aqueous solutions. This good adsorption capacity is attributed to the observation that tourmaline can automatically adjust the pH values of acidic (except pH 2.0 and 3.0), neutral or alkaline aqueous solutions to 6.4. Specifically, the removal capacity for Cd(Ⅱ) was higher at strongly acidic pH values (in contrast to industrial wastewater pH values) compared to that obtained for other types of adsorbents. Furthermore, the results obtained in this study showed good fits to the Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherms. However, the Langmuir model fit better than the Freundlich model. The maximum uptake of Cd(Ⅱ) by tourmaline was 31.77, 33.11 and 40.16 mg/g at pH 4.0 at 15, 25 and 35°C, respectively. Therefore, tourmaline is an effective adsorbent for the removal of Cd(Ⅱ) from acidic aqueous solutions. In addition, the kinetics for the Cd(Ⅱ) adsorption by tourmaline closely followed the pseudo-second-order model. The thermodynamic parameters indicated that adsorption was feasible, spontaneous, and endothermic. Furthermore, the pH variation after adsorption, ζ-potential, metal ions desorbed and released, and FT-IR analysis indicated that the physisorption and chemisorption mechanisms of tourmaline for heavy metals. These mechanisms included water that was automatically polarized by tourmaline, the ion exchange process, and electropolar adsorption. | 3 | Side Effects during Treatment of Advanced Gastric Carcinoma by Chemotherapy Combined with CIK-cell Transfusion in Elderly People显示文摘OBJECTIVE To study the side effects and therapeutic results of autologous cytokine-induced killer(CIK)cell treatment in elderly patients with advanced gastric cancer. METHODS CIK cells were induced and cultured using biotechnics in vitro,and then the cells were infused back into the patients.Sixty elderly gastric cancer patients treated by chemotherapy(FOLFOX4 protocol)were followed-up.Among them,29 patients were treated with CIK cells during application of chemotherapy.Short-term curative effects and adverse events from the CIK transfusion and chemotherapy were observed. RESULTS Eight cases developed partial remission(PR),9 cases moderate remission(MR),7 cases stable disease(SD)and 5 cases progressive disease(PD).Out of a total of 29 patients who received chemotherapy combined with autologous CIK therapy, the total remission rate(PR+MR)was 58.6%.The total remission rate following chemotherapy alone was 45.2%,including 5 PR cases,9 MR cases,7 SD cases,and 10 PD cases.There was a relatively lower rate of severe chemotherapic toxicities in the CIK- cell transfusion group.Side e?ects of autologous CIK transfusion included chills(13 cases),fever(9 cases),nausea and vomiting (1 case)and general malaise(3 cases).Side effects were treated with conventional therapy resulting in their amelioration.No patients developed shock,blood capillary leakage syndrome,or abnormalities in routine blood,urine,liver and renal function tests. CONCLUSION Adoptive immunotherapy with autologous CIK cells may decrease the clinical signs and symptoms of elderly patients who suffer from advanced gastric cancer.Adverse reactions of patients can be alleviated by conventional therapy. | 4 | Evaluation of soil washing process with carboxymethyl-β-cyclodextrin and carboxymethyl chitosan for recovery of PAHs/heavy metals/fluorine from metallurgic plant site显示文摘Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)/heavy metals/fluorine(F) mixed-contaminated sites caused by abandoned metallurgic plants are receiving wide attention. To address the associated environmental problems,this study was initiated to investigate the feasibility of using carboxymethyl-β-cyclodextrin(CMCD) and carboxymethyl chitosan(CMC) solution to enhance ex situ soil washing for extracting mixed contaminants. Further,Tenax extraction method was combined with a first-three-compartment model to evaluate the environmental risk of residual PAHs in washed soil. In addition,the redistribution of heavy metals/F after decontamination was also estimated using a sequential extraction procedure. Three successive washing cycles using50 g/L CMCD and 5 g/L CMC solution were effective to remove 94.3% of total PAHs,93.2% of Pb,85.8% of Cd,93.4% of Cr,83.2% of Ni and 97.3% of F simultaneously. After the 3rd washing,the residual PAHs mainly existed as very slowly desorbing fractions,which were in the form of well-aged,well-sequestered compounds; while the remaining Pb,Cd,Cr,Ni and F mainly existed as Fe–Mn oxide and residual fractions,which were always present in stable mineral forms or bound to non-labile soil fractions. | 5 | Sustained Akt signaling in articular chondrocytes causes osteoarthritis via oxidative stress-induced senescence in mice显示文摘Osteoarthritis(OA) is an age-related disorder that is strongly associated with chondrocyte senescence. The causal link between disruptive PTEN/Akt signaling and chondrocyte senescence and the underlying mechanism are unclear. In this study, we found activated Akt signaling in human OA cartilage as well as in a mouse OA model with surgical destabilization of the medial meniscus.Genetic mouse models mimicking sustained Akt signaling in articular chondrocytes via PTEN deficiency driven by either Col2a1-Cre or Col2a1-Cre^(ERT2) developed OA, whereas restriction of Akt signaling reversed the OA phenotypes in PTEN-deficient mice.Mechanistically, prolonged activation of Akt signaling caused an accumulation of reactive oxygen species and triggered chondrocyte senescence as well as a senescence-associated secretory phenotype, whereas chronic administration of the antioxidant N-acetylcysteine suppressed chondrocyte senescence and mitigated OA progression in PTEN-deficient mice. Therefore,inhibition of Akt signaling by PTEN is required for the maintenance of articular cartilage. | 6 | Odontoblast β-catenin signaling regulates fenestration of mouse Hertwig's epithelial root sheath显示文摘The interaction between Hertwig's epithelial root sheath(HERS) and the adjacent mesenchyme is vitally important in mouse tooth root development. We previously generated odontoblast-specific Ctnnb1(encoding β-catenin) deletion mice, and demonstrated that odontoblast β-catenin signaling regulates odontoblast proliferation and differentiation. However, the role of odontoblast β-catenin signaling in regulation of HERS behavior has not been fully investigated. Here, using the same odontoblast-specific Ctnnb1 deletion mice, we found that ablation of β-catenin signaling in odontoblasts led to aberrant HERS formation. Mechanistically, odontoblast-specific Ctnnb1 deletion resulted in elevated bone morphogenetic protein 7(Bmp7) expression and reduced expression of noggin and follistatin, both of which encode extracellular inhibitors of BMPs. Furthermore, the levels of phosphorylated Smad1/5/8 were increased in HERS cells. In vitro tissue culture confirmed that BMP7 treatment disrupted the HERS structure. | 9 | Non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of Nylon 10T and Nylon 10T/1010 copolymers:Effect of sebacic acid as a third comonomer显示文摘Nylon 10 T and Nylon 10T/1010 samples were synthesized by direct melt polymerization. The non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of Nylon 10 T and Nylon 10T/1010 was investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry(DSC). Jeziorny equation and Mo equation were applied to describe the non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of the Nylon 10 T and the Nylon 10T/1010. The activation energies for non-isothermal crystallization were obtained by Vyazovkin's method and Friedman's method, respectively. These results showed that Jeziorny equation and Mo equation well described the non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of the Nylon 10 T and the Nylon 10T/1010. It was found that the values of the activation energy for non-isothermal crystallization of the Nylon 10T/1010 were lower than those of the Nylon 10 T at a given temperature or relative crystallinity degree,which revealed that crystallization ability of the Nylon 10T/1010 was higher. The crystal morphology was observed by means of a polarized optical microscope(POM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD). It was found that the addition of sebacic acid comonomer not only did not change the crystal form of the Nylon 10 T, but also significantly increased the number and decreased the size of spherulites. | 10 | Using ORYZA2000 to model cold rice yield response to climate change in the Heilongjiang province, China显示文摘Rice(Oryza sativa L.) is one of the most important staple crops in China. Increasing atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations and associated climate change may greatly affect rice production. We assessed the potential impacts of climate change on cold rice production in the Heilongjiang province, one of China's most important rice production regions. Data for a baseline period(1961–1990) and the period 2010–2050 in A2 and B2 scenarios were used as input to drive the rice model ORYZA2000 with and without accounting for the effects of increasing atmospheric CO2 concentration. The results indicate that mean,maximum, and minimum temperature during the rice growing season, in the future period considered, would increase by 1.8 °C under the A2 scenario and by 2.2 °C under the B2 scenario compared with those in the baseline. The rate of change in average maximum and minimum temperatures would increase by 0.6 °C per 10-year period under the A2 scenario and by 0.4 °C per 10-year period under the B2 scenario. Precipitation would increase slightly in the rice growing season over the next 40 years. The rice growing season would be shortened and the yield would increase in most areas in the Heilongjiang province. Without accounting for CO2 effect, the rice growing season in the period 2010–2050 would be shortened by 4.7 and 5.8 days,and rice yields would increase by 11.9% and 7.9%, under the A2 and B2 scenarios, respectively.Areas with simulated rice yield increases greater than 30.0% were in the Xiaoxing'an Mountain region. The simulation indicated a decrease in yield of less than 15% in the southwestern Songnen Plain. The rate of change in simulated rice yield was 5.0% and 2.5% per 10 years under the A2 and B2 scenarios, respectively. When CO2 effect was accounted for, rice yield increased by 44.5% and 31.3% under the A2 and B2 scenarios, respectively. The areas of increasing yield were sharply expanded. The area of decreasing yield in the western region of Songnen Plains disappeared when increasing CO2 concentration was considered. The stability of rice yield would increase from 2010 to 2050. | 11 | A MITE insertion into the 3′-UTR regulates the transcription of TaHSP16.9 in common wheat显示文摘Miniature inverted-repeat transposable elements(MITEs) are a type of DNA transposon frequently inserted into promoters, untranslated regions(UTR), introns, or coding sequences of genes. We found a 276-bp tourist-like MITE insertion in the 3′-UTR of a 16.9 k Da small heat shock protein gene(TaH SP16.9-3A) on chromosome 3A of common wheat. Haplotype analysis revealed two haplotypes, s HSP-W(wild type without MITE insertion) and s HSP-M(mutant with MITE insertion), present in wheat germplasm. Both semiquantitative PCR and quantitative real-time PCR analyses showed increased transcription levels of TaH SP16.9-3A in s HSP-M compared with those of s HSP-W after heat treatment at 42 °C. | 12 | N-acetyltransferase 10 promotes colon cancer progression by inhibiting ferroptosis through N4-acetylation and stabilization of ferroptosis suppressor protein 1 (FSP1) mRNA显示文摘Background:N-acetyltransferase 10(NAT10)is the only enzyme known tomediate the N4-acetylcytidine(ac4C)modification of mRNA and is crucial formRNA stability and translation efficiency.However,its role in cancer development and prognosis has not yet been explored.This study aimed to examine the possible role of NAT10 in colon cancer.Methods:The expression levels ofNAT10were evaluated by immunohistochemical analyses with a colon cancer tissue microarray,and its prognostic value in patients was further analyzed.Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)and Western blotting were performed to analyze NAT10 expression in harvested colon cancer tissues and cell lines.Stable NAT10-knockdown and NAT10-overexpressing colon cancer cell lines were constructed using lentivirus.The biological functions of NAT10 in colon cancer cell lines were analyzed in vitro by Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8),wound healing,Transwell,cell cycle,and ferroptosis assays.Xenograft models were used to analyze the effect of NAT10 on the tumorigenesis and metastasis of colon cancer cells in vivo.Dot blotting,acetylated RNA immunoprecipitation-qPCR,and RNA stability analyses were performed to explore the mechanism by which NAT10 functions in colon cancer progression.Results:NAT10 was upregulated in colon cancer tissues and various colon cancer cell lines.This increased NAT10 expression was associated with shorter patient survival.Knockdown of NAT10 in two colon cancer cell lines(HT-29 and LoVo)impaired the proliferation,migration,invasion,tumor formation and metastasis of these cells,whereas overexpression of NAT10 promoted these abilities.Further analysis revealed that NAT10 exerted a strong effect on the mRNA stability and expression of ferroptosis suppressor protein 1(FSP1)in HT-29 and LoVo cells.In these cells,FSP1 mRNA was found to be modified by ac4C acetylation,and this epigenetic modification was associated with the inhibition of ferroptosis.Conclusions:Our study revealed that NAT10 plays a critical role in colon cancer development by affecting FSP1 mRNA stability and ferroptosis,suggesting that NAT10 could be a novel prognostic and therapeutic target in colon cancer. | Xiao Zheng Qi Wang You Zhou Dachuan Zhang Yiting Geng Wenwei Hu Changping Wu Yufang Shi Jingting Jiang | 2022 | Cancer Communications2022,42,12: | 3 |

| 17 | Changes in Chilled Chicken Quality and Correlation Analysis during Different Shelf Life显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to study the change rule and correlation analysis of quality indexes of chilled chicken within 7 d shelf life.[Method] Six pieces of fresh breast muscle were packaged in polyethylene(PE) food storage bags,labeled,and refrigerated at 4 ℃.The p H,water loss rate,tenderness,color value and inosinic acid content of chicken were measured at different time points of preservation(cold storage for 0,1,2,3,6,7 d).[Result] With the prolongation of shelf life,the p H of chilled chicken first increased then tended to be stable;the water loss rate first increased then stabilized;the shear force first decreased then increased.There was little difference in brightness value(L*) of chilled chicken dur-ing different shelf life(P>0.05).The red degree value(a*) decreased with the prolongation of shelf life;the yellow degree value(b*) increased with the extension of shelf life.The inosinic acid content decreased with the prolongation of shelf life.The p H of chilled chicken in different shelf life had significant positive correlation with water loss rate(P<0.05) and extremely significant negative correlation with shear force(P<0.01).[Conclusion]The shelf life of 7 d has impact on meat color and inosinic acid of chilled chicken.Cold fresh preservation of chilled chicken should be less than 6 d;p H has certain correlation with water loss rate and shear force. | Ju Xiaojun Tu Yunjie Zou Jianmin Zhang Ming Ji Gaige Shan Yanju Liu Yifan Shu Jingting | 2018 | Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2018,10,2: | 2 |
| 18 | Culture and Identification of Myoblasts Isolated from Duck Embryos显示文摘[Objective] Using embryonic myoblasts to research the formation and developmental mechanisms of skeletal muscle is becoming a research hotspot. This study aimed to establish a method of isolation, culture and identification of myoblasts in duck embryos. [Method] Pectoral and leg muscle samples were isolated from the embryos of Gaoyou duck at 13 d of hatching, then disassociated with collagenase and trypsin and purified via differential adhesion. The isolated cells were cultured in vitro and detected for the expression of Pax7 protein using immunofluorescence technique. [Result] Myoblasts were obtained successfully both from pectoral and leg muscles in duck embryos and these cells proliferated strongly and differentiated well. Immunofluorescence staining showed that more than 95% cells could express Pax7 protein. | 19 | Hetero-interfacial nickel nitride/vanadium oxynitride porous nanosheets as trifunctional electrodes for HER,OER and sodium ion batteries显示文摘The development of single electrode with multifunctional purposes for electrochemical devices remains a symbolic challenge in recent technology.This work explores interfacially-rich transition metal nitride hybrid that consist of nickel nitride and vanadium oxynitride(VO_(0.26)N_(0.52))on robust carbon fiber(denoted CF/Ni_(3)N/VON)as trifunctional electrode for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),oxygen evolution reaction(OER),and sodium ion batteries(SIBs).The as-prepared CF/Ni_(3)N/VON exhibits low HER overpotential of 48 m V@10 m A cm^(-2),OER overpotential of 287 m V@10 m A cm^(-2),and sodium-ion anode storage reversible capacity of 555 m A h g^(-1)@0.2 C.Theoretical analyses reveal that the Ni_(3)N effectively facilitates hydrogen desorption for HER,increases the electrical conductivity for OER,and promotes the Na-ion storage intercalation process,while the VON substantially elevates the water dissociation kinetics for HER,accelerates the adsorption of OH*intermediate for OER and enhances the Na-ion surface adsorption storage process.Owing to the excellent HER and OER performances of the CF/Ni_(3)N/VON electrode,an overall water splitting device denoted as CF/Ni_(3)N/VON//CF/Ni_(3)N/VON was not only assembled showing an operating voltage of 1.63 V at current density of 10 m A cm^(-2)but was also successfully self-powered by the assembled CF/Ni_(3)N/VON//CF/Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3) flexible sodium ion battery.This work will contribute to the development of efficient and cost-effective flexible integrated electrochemical energy devices. | Tuzhi Xiong Jingting Li Jagadish Chandra Roy Malcolm Koroma Zhixiao Zhu Hao Yang Lei Zhang Ting Ouyang M.-Sadeeq Balogun Mohammad Al-Mamun | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,6: | 1 |
