1Meteorological mechanism for a large-scale persistent severe ozone pollution event over eastern China in 2017显示文摘An intensive and persistent regional ozone pollution event occurred over eastern China from 25 June to 5 July 2017.73 out of 96 selected cities,most located in the Beijing-TianjinHebei and the surrounding area(BTHS),suffered severe ozone pollution.A north-south contrast ozone distribution,with higher ozone(199±33μg/m3)in the BTHS and lower ozone(118±25μg/m^3)in the Yangtze River Delta(YRD),was found to be dominated by the position of the West Pacific Subtropical High(WPSH)and mid-high latitude wave activities.In the BTHS,the positive anomalies of geopotential height at 500 hPa and temperature at the surface indicated favorable meteorological conditions for local ozone formation.Prevailing northwesterly winds in the mid-high troposphere and warm advection induced by weak southerly winds in the low troposphere resulted in low-moderate relative humidity(RH),less total cloud cover(TGC),strong solar radiation and high temperatures.Moreover,southerly winds prevailing over the BTHS aggravated the pollution due to regional transportation of O3 and its precursors.On one hand,the deep sinking motion and inversion layer suppressed the dispersion of pollutants.On the other hand,O3-rich air in the upper layer was maintained at night due to temperature inversion,which facilitated O3 vertical transport to the surface in the next-day morning due to elevated convection.Generally,temperature,UV radiation,and RH showed good correlations with O3 in the BTHS,with rates of 8.51(μg/m^3)/℃(within the temperature range of 20-38℃),59.54(μg/m^3)/(MJ/m^2)and-1.93(μg/m^3)/%,respectively.Jia Mao Lili Wang Chuhan Lu Jingda Liu Mingge Li Guiqian Tang Dongsheng Ji Nan Zhang Yuesi Wang 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,6:18
2Fast and efficient aqueous arsenic removal by functionalized MIL-100(Fe)/rGO/δ-MnO2 ternary composites:Adsorption performance and mechanism显示文摘Because of its significant toxicological effects on the environment and human health,arsenic(As)is a major global issue.In this study,an Fe-based metal-organic framework(MOF)(Materials of Institut Lavoisier:MIL-100(Fe))which was impregnated with reduced graphene oxide(rGO)by using a simple hydrothermal method and coated with birnessitetype manganese oxide(δ-MnO2)using the one-pot reaction process(MIL-100(Fe)/rGO/δ-MnO2 nanocomposites)was synthesized and applied successfully in As removal.The removal efficiency was rapid,the equilibrium was achieved in 40 min and 120 min for As(Ⅲ)and As(Ⅴ),respectively,at a level of 5 mg/L.The maximum adsorption capacities of As(Ⅲ)and As(Ⅴ)at pH 2 were 192.67 mg/g and 162.07 mg/g,respectively.The adsorbent revealed high stability in pH range 2-9 and saturated adsorbent can be fully regenerated at least five runs.The adsorption process can be described by the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Langmuir monolayer adsorption.The adsorption mechanisms consisted of electrostatic interaction,oxidation and inner sphere surface complexation.Sittipranee Ploychompoo Jingda Chen Hanjin Luo Qianwei Liang 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,5:6
3Adhesive anastomosis for organ transplantation显示文摘The recent development of tough tissue adhesives has stimulated intense interests among material scientists and medical doctors.However,these adhesives have seldom been tested in clinically demanding surgeries.Here we demonstrate adhesive anastomosis in organ transplantation.Anastomosis is commonly conducted by dense sutures and takes a long time,during which all the vessels are occluded.Prolonged occlusion may damage organs and even cause death.We formulate a tough,biocompatible,bioabsorbable adhesive that can sustain tissue tension and pressurized flow.We expose the endothelial surface of vessels onto a gasket,press two endothelial surfaces to the adhesive using a pair of magnetic rings,and reopen the bloodstream immediately.The time for adhesive anastomosis is shortened compared to the time for sutured anastomosis.We have achieved adhesive anastomosis of a great vein in transplanting the liver of a pig.After the surgery,the adhesive is absorbed,the vein heals,and the pig lives for over one month.Kang Liu Hang Yang Gaobo Huang Aihua Shi Qiang Lu Shanpei Wang Wei Qiao Haohua Wang Mengyun Ke Hongfan Ding Tao Li Yanchao Zhang Jiawei Yu Bingyi Ren Rongfeng Wang Kailing Wang Hui Feng Zhigang Suo Jingda Tang Yi Lv 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,7:3

11Auxetic two-dimensional transition metal selenides and halides显示文摘Auxetic two-dimensional(2D)materials provide a promising platform for biomedicine,sensors,and many other applications at the nanoscale.In this work,utilizing a hypothesis-based data-driven approache,we identify multiple materials with remarkable in-plane auxetic behavior in a family of buckled monolayer 2D materials.These materials are transition metal selenides and transition metal halides with the stoichiometry MX(M=V,Cr,Mn,Fe,Co,Cu,Zn,Ag,and X=Se,Cl,Br,I).First-principles calculations reveal that the desirable auxetic behavior of these 2D compounds originates from the interplay between the buckled 2D structure and the weak metal-metal interaction determined by their electronic structures.We observe that the Poisson’s ratio is sensitive to magnetic order and the amount of uniaxial stress applied.A transition from positive Poisson’s ratio(PPR)to negative Poisson’s ratio(NPR)for a subgroup of MX compounds under large uniaxial stress is predicted.The work provides a guideline for the future design of 2D auxetic materials at the nanoscale.Jinbo Pan Yan-Fang Zhang Jingda Zhang Huta Banjade Jie Yu Liping Yu Shixuan Du Adrienn Ruzsinszky Zhenpeng Hu Qimin Yan 2020npj Computational Materials2020,,1:0
12Erratum to:Study on dynamic variation of dew point temperature at attached air layer of radiant ceiling cooling panels显示文摘Radiant ceiling cooling panels require an accurate and sensitive control system to avoid condensation;this is achieved by adjusting the temperature of radiant ceiling panels in adequate time.This study investigated a prediction model for the dew-point temperature of the attached air layer of the radiant ceiling cooling panels.When the number and position of people indoors change,the model can predict the change in dew-point temperature of the attached air layer for the purpose of adjusting the panel temperature in time to prevent condensation.The influence of different factors on the air dew-point temperature was investigated in this study.The relationship between the main influencing factor and the predicted dew-point temperature of the attached air layer was obtained,and experimental data were used to verify the simulation model.The results show that the distance from the person to the attached air layer,as well as the number of people,have a great influence on the dew-point temperature of the attached air layer.The prediction model of the air dew-point temperature takes the form of a negative exponential function.The distance from the person to the attached air layer is most affected by the prediction model's increase rate of the air dew-point temperature and value of the stable time.Wufeng Jin Jingda Ma Chen Bi Zhiqiang Wang Choi Bong Soo Pan Gao 2021Building Simulation2021,14,6:0
13Self-sensing magnetic actuators of bilayer hydrogels显示文摘Hard magnetic soft robots have been widely used in biomedical engineering.In these applications,it is crucial to sense the movement of soft robots and their interaction with target objects.Here,we propose a strategy to fabricate a self-sensing bilayer actuator by combining magnetic and ionic conductive hydrogels.The magnetic hydrogel containing NdFeB particles exhibits rapid response to magnetic field and achieve bending deformation.Meanwhile,the polyacrylamide(PAAm)hydrogel with lithium chloride(LiCl)allows for the sensing of deformation.The bending behavior of the bilayer under magnetic field is well captured by theoretical and simulated models.Additionally,the bilayer strain sensor shows good sensitivity,stability and can endure a wide-range cyclic stretching(0-300%).These merits qualify the self-sensing actuator to monitor the motion signals,such as bending of fingers and grasping process of an intelligent gripper.When subject to an external magnetic field,the gripper can grab a cube and sense the resistance change simultaneously to detect the object size.This work may provide a versatile strategy to integrate actuating and self-sensing ability in soft robots.Shengyuan Zhang Huangsan Wei Jingda Tang 2023International Journal of Smart and Nano Materials2023,14,4:0

17Multiple learning neural network algorithm for parameter estimation of proton exchange membrane fuel cell models显示文摘Extracting the unknown parameters of proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC)models accurately is vital to design,control,and simulate the actual PEMFC.In order to extract the unknown parameters of PEMFC models precisely,this work presents an improved version of neural network algorithm(NNA),namely the multiple learning neural network algorithm(MLNNA).In MLNNA,six learning strategies are designed based on the created local elite archive and global elite archive to balance exploration and exploitation of MLNNA.To evaluate the performance of MLNNA,MLNNA is first employed to solve the well-known CEC 2015 test suite.Experimental results demonstrate that MLNNA outperforms NNA on most test functions.Then,MLNNA is used to extract the parameters of two PEMFC models including the BCS 500 W PEMFC model and the NedStack SP6 PEMFC model.Experimental results support the superiority of MLNNA in the parameter estimation of PEMFC models by comparing it with 10 powerful optimization algorithms.Yiying Zhang Chao Huang Hailong Huang Jingda Wu 2023Green Energy and Intelligent Transportation2023,2,1:0

19Study on Cleaner Production Subsidies, Income Distribution Imbalance and Carbon Emissions Permit Reallocation Mechanism显示文摘The allocation mechanism for carbon emissions permit(CEP)is an institutional guarantee for advancing the development of China’s unified carbon trading market.The initial allocation of carbon quotas fails to solve new inequalities stemming from subsidizing cleaner production.This paper constructs a theoretical framework that describes China’s progressive decline in carbon intensity,calculates the equilibrium solution on the neoclassical saddle point path using the shooting method,and studies the income distribution imbalance caused by cleaner production subsidies and the reallocation mechanism of carbon emissions permit The main conclusion is that the incremental cleaner production subsidy policy meets the goal of maximizing welfare on the saddle point path,but it may lead to over-investment in the clean sector,thus causing the income distribution imbalance among entities.Further research suggests that the amount of carbon emissions permit acquired by the clean sector should be higher than the actual emissions in the trading market and that,as the cleaner support increases,the share of carbon emissions permit acquired by the sector should be constantly increased through reallocation mechanism.This helps achieve the Pareto improvement in all parties’economic benefi ts.Qingquan Fan Jingran Liu Jingda Wang 2022China Finance and Economic Review2022,11,4:0
