| 3 | The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. | 4 | Effect of entecavir plus Ganshuang granule(肝爽颗粒) on fibrosisand cirrhosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of entecavir plus Ganshuang granule(肝爽颗粒,GSG)on advanced fibrosis and cirrhosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B virus infection.METHODS:One hundred thirty-five patients were randomly assigned to one of two cohorts:GSG cohort(n=69)or placebo cohort(n=66).The GSG cohort received entecavir plus GSG and the placebo cohort received entecavir plus placebo for 48 weeks.Liver biopsy was performed at baseline and between weeks 44 and 48 during this placebo-controlled trial.We assessed histological improvement(greater than a two-point decrease using the Knodell in fl ammatory score and no worsening of the Ishak fibrosis score)and fibrosis regression(a decrease of at least one point in the Ishak fibrosis score).RESULTS:There were 95.7% of patients(66/69)in the GSG cohort and 66.7%(44/66)of patients in the placebo cohort who showed necroin t.The mean reduction in flth ammation improvemene Knodell necroinflammatory score was 5.1 and 2.6,respectively.There were 89.9%(62/69)of patients in the GSG cohort and 31.8%(21/66)of patients in the placebo cohort who showed at least a one-point improvement in the Ishak fibrosis score.The mean reduction in the Ishak fibrosis score was 1.7 and 0.4,respectively.CONCLUSION:Patients with advanced fibrosis and cirrhosis caused by chronic hepatitis B showed more improvement in liver histology in a shorter time after treatment with entecavir plus GSG compared with entecavir plus placebo. | LU Feng GENG Jiabao ZHANG Jiawei DONG Yu | 2021 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,4: | 8 |
| 5 | Genomic landscape of gastric cancer: molecular classification and potential targets显示文摘Gastric cancer imposes a considerable health burden worldwide, and its mortality ranks as the second highest for all types of cancers. The limited knowledge of the molecular mechanisms underlying gastric cancer tumorigenesis hinders the development of therapeutic strategies. However, ongoing collaborative sequencing efforts facilitate molecular classification and unveil the genomic landscape of gastric cancer. Several new drivers and tumorigenic pathways in gastric cancer, including chromatin remodeling genes, Rho A-related pathways, TP53 dysregulation, activation of receptor tyrosine kinases, stem cell pathways and abnormal DNA methylation, have been revealed. These newly identified genomic alterations await translation into clinical diagnosis and targeted therapies. Considering that loss-of-function mutations are intractable, synthetic lethality could be employed when discussing feasible therapeutic strategies. | 7 | Stereotactic body radiation therapy versus radiofrequency ablation in patients with small hepatocellular carcinoma:a systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Background:This study aimed to compare the clinical outcomes and toxicity between small hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)patients treated with stereotactic body radiation therapy(SBRT)and those treated with radiofrequency ablation(RFA).Methods:We searched databases for relevant clinical studies.The primary outcomes of interest were overall survival(OS)at 1 and 2 years,freedom from local progression(FFLP)rate at 2 years,and complications.Results:Five cohorts from 5 retrospective studies and 4,814 patients with HCC were included.Pooled OS at 2 years was significantly lower for SBRT than for RFA[odds ratio(OR):0.63;95%confidence interval(CI):0.51-0.79;P<0.0001],but the pooled FFLP rate at 2 years was higher for SBRT than for RFA(OR:1.66;95%CI:1.05-2.61;P=0.03).In addition,there was no significant difference in the local and liver toxicities of the two treatments.The contradictory conclusion between the OS and FFLP outcome may be attributed to the difference in radiological dose and location,but there were no uniform criteria to illustrate the radiological dose and location in the included studies.Conclusions:SBRT had a higher local control ratio but poorer prognosis than RFA in patients with small HCC.The local toxicity was comparable in both treatments.Further trials should be designed with uniform standards for SBRT and RFA treatments. | Jiawei Hong Linping Cao Haiyang Xie Yuanxing Liu Jun Yu Shusen Zheng | 2021 | Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2021,10,5: | 5 |

In this task, we focus on resolving two challenging problems(i.e., low resources and element overlapping) by proposing a joint learning framework, named SaltyFishes. We first formulate the event extraction task as a joint probability model. By sharing parameters in the model across different types, we can learn to adapt to low-resource events based on high-resource events. We further address the element overlapping problems by a mechanism of Conditional Layer Normalization, achieving even better extraction accuracy. | 12 | Prospects and research issues in multi-dimensional all optical networks显示文摘Research into all optical network(AON) technology has been ongoing over the past decade, and new features are constantly being developed. The advantages of AON include large-bandwidth provisioning, lowlatency transmission and low energy consumption. The basic concept underlying AON is transmission of data signals entirely through the optical domain from source to destination nodes, with no optical-electrical-optical(O-E-O) conversion at intermediate nodes. The technologies used to implement AON have undergone a series of evolutions, which encompass time division multiplexing(TDM), frequency division multiplexing(FDM), and space division multiplexing(SDM). Multi-dimensional AON(MD-AON), which leads the trend of AON's future architecture, provides a vibrant state for emerging applications such as cloud computing and Internet of Things(Io T). | 14 | Angel: a new large-scale machine learning system显示文摘Machine Learning(ML) techniques now are ubiquitous tools to extract structural information from data collections. With the increasing volume of data, large-scale ML applications require an efficient implementation to accelerate the performance. Existing systems parallelize algorithms through either data parallelism or model parallelism. But data parallelism cannot obtain good statistical efficiency due to the conflicting updates to parameters while the performance is damaged by global barriers in model parallel methods. In this paper, we propose a new system, named Angel, to facilitate the development of large-scale ML applications in production environment. By allowing concurrent updates to model across different groups and scheduling the updates in each group, Angel can achieve a good balance between hardware efficiency and statistical efficiency. Besides, Angel reduces the network latency by overlapping the parameter pulling and update computing and also utilizes the sparseness of data to avoid the pulling of unnecessary parameters. We also enhance the usability of Angel by providing a set of efficient tools to integrate with application pipelines and provisioning efficient fault tolerance mechanisms. | 17 | Efficient sequential harvesting of solar light by heterogeneous hollow shells with hierarchical pores显示文摘In nature,sequential harvesting of light widely exists in the old life entity,i.e.cyanobacteria,to maximize the light absorption and enhance the photosynthesis efficiency.Inspired by nature,we propose a brand new concept of temporally-spatially sequential harvesting of light in one single particle,which has purpose-designed heterogeneous hollow multi-shelled structures(HoMSs)with porous shells composed of nanoparticle subunits.Structurally,HoMSs consist of different band-gap materials outside-in,thus realizing the efficient harvesting of light with different wavelengths.Moreover,introducing oxygen vacancies into each nanoparticle subunit can also enhance the light absorption.With the benefit of sequential harvesting of light in HoMSs,the quantum efficiency at wavelength of 400 nm is enhanced by six times compared with the corresponding nanoparticles.Impressively,using these aforementioned materials as photocatalysts;highly efficient photocatalytic water splitting is realized,which cannot be achieved by using the nanoparticle counterparts.This new concept of temporally-spatially sequential harvesting of solar light paves the way for solving the ever-growing energy demand. | Yanze Wei Jiawei Wan Nailiang Yang Yu Yang Yanwen Ma Songcan Wang Jiangyan Wang Ranbo Yu Lin Gu Lianhui Wang Lianzhou Wang Wei Huang Dan Wang | 2020 | National Science Review2020,7,11: | 2 |
| 18 | Tunable Ru-Ru2P heterostructures with charge redistribution for efficient pH-universal hydrogen evolution显示文摘Designing synergistic heterogeneous catalytic interfaces is the key to developing highly compatible pH-universal electrocatalysts for complex chemical environments.Our theoretical calculation results demonstrate that the Ru-Ru2P heterointerface can not only promote the redistribution of charges,but also reduce the d-band center,and then enhances the adsorption capacity of the key intermediate.However,in situ and facile synthesis of Ru-Ru2P heterostructures is severely limited by thermodynamic obstacles.Herein,we propose a molten salt-assisted catalytic synthesis scheme,and successfully build a series of homologous metallic Ru-Ru2P heterostructure catalysts with different molar ratios of Ru to P under atmospheric pressure and low-temperature(400C).The resultant Ru-Ru2P with rich heterostructures show the Pt-like HER performance in different pH media.Particularly,it is prominent under alkaline conditions(18 mV@10 mA cm^(2)),which outperforms the Pt catalyst(37 mV@10 mA cm^(2)).Furthermore,Ru-Ru2P heterostructures also show certain potential in the electrolysis of seawater to produce hydrogen.This work represents a significant supplement of high-efficiency pH-universal HER catalysts,and provides a new light on interface engineering in energy technology fields and beyond. | Ding Chen Ruohan Yu Ruihu Lu Zonghua Pu Pengyan Wang Jiawei Zhu Pengxia Ji Dulan Wu Jinsong Wu Yan Zhao Zongkui Kou Jun Yu Shichun Mu | 2022 | InfoMat2022,4,5: | 2 |
| 19 | Pomegranate-inspired porous SnSe/ZnSe@C anode:A stress-buffer nanostructure for fast and ultrastable sodium-ion storage显示文摘Tin selenide(SnSe)is considered as a potential anode for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)owing to its high theoretical specific capacity.Unfortunately,it suffers from drastic volume expansion/contraction during sodium ions insertion/extraction,resulting in poor cycling stability.Herein,a pomegranate-inspired porous carbon shell wrapped heterogeneous SnSe/ZnSe composite(SnSe/ZnSe@C)is exquisitely designed and fabricated through electrostatic spraying followed by high-temperature selenization.The polyacrylonitrile-derived carbon shell acts as an adhesive to link the porous cubic SnSe/ZnSe and form highly interconnected microcircuits to improve the electron/ion transfer efficiency and inhibit the bulk volume change of internal metallic selenide nanoparticles and polyselenides dissolution during repeated cycling.Moreover,the abundant heterostructure interface of SnSe/ZnSe further significantly accelerates the electrons/ions transport.As a result,the as-prepared SnSe/ZnSe@C electrode exhibits a high specific capacity(508.3 m Ah g^(-1)at 0.05 A g^(-1)),excellent rate performance(177.8 m Ah g^(-1)at 10.0 A g^(-1)),and remarkable cycling stability(195.9 m Ah g^(-1)after 10,000 cycles at 5.0 A g^(-1)).Furthermore,in-situ Xray diffraction(XRD)/Raman,ex-situ transmission electron microscopy,and kinetic analysis clearly reveal a four-step electrochemical reaction process and battery-capacitor dual-mode sodium storage mechanism.This work provides a new perspective for developing commercial SIBs anode materials with high capacity and long lifespan. | Zhixin Liang Qinghua Li Wang Zhang Dandan Yu Wei Zhang Jiawei Wu Gaoyu Wang Wenbo Fan Junling Wang Shaoming Huang | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,,12: | 2 |
