| 1 | Effects of two polybrominated diphenyl ethers(BDE-47,BDE-209) on the swimming behavior, population growth and reproduction of the rotifer Brachionus plicatilis显示文摘Polybrominated diphenyl ethers(PBDEs) are new kinds of persistent organic pollutants(POPs) and their potential threats to the equilibrium and sustainability of marine ecosystems have raised worldwide concerns. Here, two kinds of PBDEs, tetra-BDE(BDE-47)and deca-BDE(BDE-209) were applied, and their toxic effects on the swimming behavior,population growth and reproduction of Brachionus plicatilis were investigated. The results showed that:(1) The actual concentrations of BDE-47 and-209 in the seawater phase measured by GC–MS(Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer) were much lower than their nominal concentrations.(2) In accordance with the 24-hr acute tests, BDE-209 did not show any obvious swimming inhibition to rotifers, but a good correlation did exist between the swimming inhibition rate and BDE-47 concentration suggesting that BDE-47 is more toxic than BDE-209.(3) Both BDE-47 and-209 had a significant influence on the population growth and reproduction parameters of B. plicatilis including the population growth rate, the ratio of ovigerous females/non-ovigerous females(OF/NOF), the ratio of mictic females/amictic females(MF/AF), resting egg production and the mictic rate, which indicate that these parameters in B. plicatilis population were suitable for monitoring and assessing PBDEs. Our results suggest that BDE-47 and-209 are not acute lethal toxicants and may pose a low risk to marine rotifers at environmental concentrations for short-term exposure. They also accumulate differently into rotifers. | 5 | Aging effects on rheological properties of high viscosity modified asphalt显示文摘This work investigated the aging effects on the rheological properties of high viscosity modified asphalt(HVMA).First,the high-and low-temperature rheological properties were measured by a dynamic shear rheometer and a bending beam rheometer,respectively.The aging mechanism was then tested using an Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and a scanning electron microscope.Besides,a study was performed to compare the aging effects on the rheological properties of HVMA,crumb rubber modified asphalt(CRMA),and neat asphalt(SK-90).The experimental results showed that the effects of the long-term aging on HVMA exceeded those of short-term aging.The complex shear modulus of the HVMA was improved by the aging in the whole frequency range.The complex shear modulus of the HVMA after the long-term aging was larger than after the short-term aging.Thus,the aging improved the high-temperature viscoelastic performance of HVMA.With a decrease in temperature from-12℃to-24℃,the low-temperature viscoelastic performance of HVMA decreased since its stiffness modulus and low continuous grading temperature increase.Both of the short-and long-term aging of HVMA were caused by an oxidation reaction,while modifier swelling also happened after long-term aging.Compared to CRMA and SK-90,aging had a limited influence on the high-and low-temperature rheological properties of HVMA. | Wei Jiang Dongdong Yuan Zheng Tong Aimin Sha Jingjing Xiao Meng Jia Wanli Ye Wentong Wang | 2023 | Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2023,10,2: | 1 |

| 7 | Variations of Raindrop Size Distribution and Radar Retrieval in Outer Rainbands of Typhoon Mangkhut(2018)显示文摘The evolution of the microphysical properties of raindrops from Typhoon Mangkhut’s outer rainbands as the storm made landfall in South China in September 2018 was investigated.The observations by three two-dimensional video disdrometers deployed in central Guangdong Province were analyzed concurrently.It was found that the radial distribution of the median volume diameter(D_(0))and normalized intercept parameter(N_(w))varied in different stages,and that raindrops smaller than 3.0 mm contributed more than 99%of the total precipitation.Considering the characteristics of precipitation in the typhoon outer rainband,a modified stratiform rain(SR)-convective rain(CR)separator line is proposed based on D_(0) and N_(w) scatterplots.Meanwhile,an“S-C likelihood index”is introduced,which was used to classify three rain types(SR,CR,and mixed rain).The CR results were highly consistent with those of the improved typhoon precipitation classification method based on rain rate.By calculating effectively the radar reflectivity factor(Ze)in the Ku and Ka bands,D0-Ze and N_(w)-D_(0) empirical relations were thereby derived for improving the accuracy of rainfall retrieval.Among the four quantitative precipitation estimators using S-band dual-polarimetric radar parameters simulated by the T-matrix method,the estimator that adopted the specific differential phase and differential reflectivity was found to be the most effective for both SR and CR. | Jingjing LYU Huiwen XIAO Yuchun DU Lina SHA Yuqing DENG Weikai JIA Shengjie NIU Yue ZHOU Guqian PANG | 2022 | Journal of Meteorological Research2022,36,3: | 0 |

| 9 | Calcium/calmodulin modulates salt responses by binding a novel interacting protein SAMS1 in peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)显示文摘The Ca^(2+)/CaM signal transduction pathway helps plants adapt to environmental stress. However, our knowledge on the functional proteins of C^(2+)/CaM pathway in peanut(Arachis hypogeae L.) remains limited. In the present study, a novel calmodulin 4(CaM4)-binding protein S-adenosyl-methionine synthetase 1(SAMS1) in peanut was identified using a yeast two-hybrid assay. Expression of AhSAMS1was induced by Ca^(2+), ABA, and salt stress. To elucidate the function of AhSAMS1, physiological and phenotypic analyses were performed with wild-type and transgenic materials. Overexpression of AhSAMS1increased spermidine and spermidine synthesis while decreased the contents of ethylene, thereby eliminating excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS) in transgenic lines under salt stress. AhSAMS1 reduced uptake of Na+and leakage of K+from mesophyll cells, and was less sensitive to salt stress during early seedling growth, in agreement with the induction of SOS and NHX genes Transcriptomics combined with epigenetic regulation uncovered relationships between differentially expressed genes and differentially methylated regions, which raised the salt tolerance and plants growth. | 10 | Effects of Allelochemicals on Root Growth and Pod Yield in Response to Continuous Cropping Obstacle of Peanut显示文摘Continuous cropping(CC)obstacle is a major threat in legume crops production;however,the underlying mechanisms concerning the roles allelochemicals play in CC obstacle are poorly understood.The current 2-year study was conducted to investigate the effects of different kinds and concentrations of allelochemicals,p-hydroxybenzoic acid(H),cinnamic acid(C),phthalic acid(P),and their mixtures(M)on peanut root growth and productivity in response to CC obstacle.Treatment with H,C,P,and M significantly decreased the plant height,dry weight of the leaves and stems,number of branches,and length of the lateral stem compared with control.Exogenous application of H,C,P,and M inhibited the peanut root growth as indicated by the decreased root morphological characters.The allelochemicals also induced the cell membrane oxidation even though the antioxidant enzymes activities were significantly increased in peanut roots.Meanwhile,treatment with H,C,P,and M reduced the contents of total soluble sugar and total soluble protein.Analysis of ATPase activity,nitrate reductase activity,and root system activity revealed that the inhibition effects of allelochemicals on peanut roots might be due to the decrease in activities of ATPase and NR,and the inhibition of root system.Consequently,allelochemicals significantly decreased the pod yield of peanut compared with control.Our results demonstrate that allelochemicals play a dominant role in CC obstacle-induced peanut growth inhibition and yield reduction through damaging the root antioxidant system,unbalancing the osmolytes accumulation,and decreasing the activities of root-related enzymes. | Zhaohui Tang Feng Guo Li Cui Qingkai Li Jialei Zhang Jianguo Wang Sha Yang Jingjing Meng Xinguo Li Ping Liu Shubo Wan | 2023 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,1: | 0 |
| 11 | 60例局部复发性骨肉瘤患者的预后影响因素分析(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of this study was to identify prognostic factors and imply the appropriate management for local recurrent osteosarcoma.Methods:The clinical records of 60 patients with local recurrence osteosarcoma were reviewed between January 2002 and December 2010.The mean followed-up time for these patients was 49.1 months(range 13 to 143 months).The factors of age,gender,tumor site,tumor size,surgical procedure,neoadjuvant chemotherapy,frequency of primary postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy,lung metastasis,metastasis of other sites(except for lung) and treatment after local recurrence were selected as the measurements for this analysis.Kaplan-Meier method was used to measure the overall survival and post-recurrence survival.The univariate analysis was used to determine the prognostic factors related with survival by Log-rank test.The COX proportional-hazard regression model was used to analyze the correlation between the prognostic factor and the survival.Results:The median post-recurrence survival and overall survival of 60 patients were 32 months(95% confidence interval:16.2-47.8) and 55 months(95% confidence interval:39.3-70.7) respectively.The 2and 3-year cumulative survival rates were 81.7% and 55.4%,respectively.The Log-rank univariate analysis showed that age,gender,tumor size,metastasis of other sites(except for lung) and treatment after local recurrence were associated with the prognosis of osteosarcoma with local recurrence(P < 0.05).The Cox regression analysis revealed that gender(P = 0.016),metastasis of other sites(except for lung,P = 0.017) and treatment after local recurrence(P = 0.028) were the independent prognostic factors of osteosarcoma with local recurrence.On the other hand,the prognosis of local recurrent osteosarcoma was not associated with tumor site,surgical procedure,frequency of primary postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy,neoadjuvant chemotherapy and lung metastasis(P > 0.05).Conclusion:The independent prognostic factors for local recurrent osteosarcoma were the metastasis of other site(except for lung) and the treatment after local recurrence.The aggressive surgical treatment for local recurrence and distant metastasis could effectively improve the survival of local recurrent osteosarcoma. | Jingjing Sha Weixiang Qi Haiyan Hu Yuanjue Sun Zan Shen Yang Yao | 2013 | The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2013,12,3: | 0 |
| 12 | The Influence of Body Investment on Depression in Chinese College Students:A Moderated Mediating Effect显示文摘An individual’s perception,attitude,feeling and behavior about their body are important factors for mental health(depression).This study aims to explore the impact of body investment on depression,and the role of self-efficacy and self-esteem in this connection.A hypothetical model about the relationship between body investment,selfefficacy,self-esteem and depression was tested.Using convenient sampling methods,a self-rated cross-sectional survey comprised of paper-based and online modes was conducted among 1,164 college students in Yunnan Province,China from July 2021 to August 2021.The data collection used the body investment scale,self-efficacy scale,self-esteem scale and depression scale.The results show that there is a low to moderate positive correlation(ranging between-0.11 and-0.59)between the research variables.The body investment of college students has a negative predictive effect(B=16.23,SE=0.65)on depression.This connection is also regulated by the mediating role of self-esteem and self-efficacy.All these factors explain 37.83%variability of research participation.These findings show how body investment affects the depressive state of college students.Further,these results help to demonstrate that self-efficacy and self-esteem are academically important for optimizing students’depression,so as to promote a good mental state. | Jingjing Wang Xiangli Guan Sumei Yin Sha Shen Xuejiao Li Md Zahir Ahmed Mary C.Jobe Oli Ahmed | 2022 | International Journal of Mental Health Promotion2022,24,1: | 0 |
