2Design,modeling,and control of morphing aircraft:A review显示文摘A morphing aircraft can adapt its configuration to suit different types of tasks,which is also an important requirement of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAV).The successful development of an unmanned morphing aircraft involves three steps that determine its ability and intelligent:configuration design,dynamic modeling and flight control.This study conducts a comprehensive survey of morphing aircraft.First,the methods to design the configuration of a morphing aircraft are presented and analyzed.Then,the nonlinear dynamic characteristics and aerodynamic interference caused by a morphing wing are described.Subsequently,the dynamic modeling and flight control methods for solving the flight control problems are summarized with respect to these features.Finally,the general as well as special challenges ahead of the development of intelligent morphing aircraft are discussed.The findings can provide a theoretical and technical reference for designing future morphing aircraft or morphing-wing UAVs.Lingling CHU Qi LI Feng GU Xintian DU Yuqing HE Yangchen DENG 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,5:16
3A draft sequence of the rice (Oryza sativa ssp. indica) genome显示文摘The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. 4Aerosol light absorption in a coastal city in Southeast China:Temporal variations and implications for brown carbon显示文摘Light-absorbing carbonaceous aerosols including black carbon(BC) and brown carbon(BrC)play significant roles in atmospheric radiative properties. One-year measurements of aerosol light absorption at multi-wavelength were continuously conducted in Xiamen,southeast of China in 2014 to determine the light absorption properties including absorption coefficients(σabs) and absorption ?ngstr?m exponent(AAE) in the coastal city.Light absorptions of BC and BrC with their contributions to total light absorption were further quantified. Mean σabsat 370 nm and 880 nm were 56.6 ± 34.3 and 16.5 ± 11.2 Mm-1,respectively. σabspresented a double-peaks diurnal pattern with the maximum in the morning and the minimum in the afternoon. σabswas low in warm seasons and high in cold seasons. AAE ranged from 0.26 to 2.58 with the annual mean of 1.46, implying that both fossil fuel combustion and biomass burning influenced aerosol optical properties. σabsof BrC at 370 nm was 24.0 ± 5.7 Mm-1, contributing 42% to the total absorption. The highest AAE(1.52 ± 0.02) and largest BrC contributions(47% ± 4%) in winter suggested the significant influence of biomass burning on aerosol light absorption. Long-distance air masses passing through North China Plain and the Yangtze River Delta led to high AAE and BrC contributions. High AAE value of 1.46 in July indicated that long-range transport of the air pollutants from intense biomass burning in Southeast Asia would affect aerosol light absorption in Southeast China. 6Nano CuO/ZSM-5 zeolite as a green and efficient catalyst for dehydration of 1,4-butanediol to tetrahydrofuran显示文摘Nano CuO/ZSM-5 zeolite was prepared and used as a catalyst for dehydration of 1,4-butanediol(BDO) to tetrahydrofuran(THF) in liquid-phase. It was found that the 4.6 wt% CuO/ZSM-5 displayed good catalytic performance, and nearly 100%of BDO conversion and more than 99% of THF selectivity could be achieved by a rotary evaporator reactor at 170 °C under the atmospheric pressure. With such mild reaction conditions, 2400 g BDO could be converted to THF over 1 g catalyst under semi-continuous operation. Characterizations with X-ray diffraction(XRD), temperature-programmed reduction(TPR),NH3-temperature programmed desorption(TPD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), transmission electron microscope(TEM) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET) over fresh and used 4.6 wt% CuO/ZSM-5 were conducted. 7Effects of complement inhibition on the ABC phenomenon in rats显示文摘Researchers reported that intravenously injected PEGylated colloidal drug carriers lose their long-circulating characteristic and accumulated extensively in liver when they are administrated twice in the same animal with certain intervals. This phenomenon was referred to as the 'accelerated blood clearance(ABC) phenomenon'. Some former studies had found that complement-mediated phagocytosis, activated by antigen–antibody complex, was responsible for inducing the phenomenon. According to the theory, we have used cobra venom factor to deplete complement in vivo and to investigate the effect of complement inhibition on the ABC phenomenon. Rats were administered by injection of cobra venom factor solution to build up the model of complement exhaustion/inhibition, and the effect of the inhibition of complement on ABC phenomenon was carried out. It seemed that inhibition of complement didn’t affect the pharmacokinetic of the first infection. By contrast, in rats of which complement had been depleted, the second dose of PEGylated nanoemulsions showed enhanced circulation time compared with normal rats in a complement inhibition-independent manner, but the ABC phenomenon was not completely eliminated. 8Retinal tissue hypoperfusion in patients with clinical Alzheimer’s disease显示文摘Background:It remains unknow whether retinal tissue perfusion occurs in patients with Alzheimer’s disease.The goal was to determine retinal tissue perfusion in patients with clinical Alzheimer’s disease(CAD).Methods:Twenty-four CAD patients and 19 cognitively normal(CN)age-matched controls were recruited.A retinal function imager(RFI,Optical Imaging Ltd.,Rehovot,Israel)was used to measure the retinal blood flow supplying the macular area of a diameter of 2.5 mm centered on the fovea.Blood flow volumes of arterioles(entering the macular region)and venules(exiting the macular region)of the supplied area were calculated.Macular blood flow was calculated as the average of arteriolar and venular flow volumes.Custom ultra-high-resolution optical coherence tomography(UHR–OCT)was used to calculate macular tissue volume.Automated segmentation software(Orion,Voxeleron LLC,Pleasanton,CA)was used to segment six intra-retinal layers in the 2.5 mm(diameter)area centered on the fovea.The inner retina(containing vessel network),including retinal nerve fiber layer(RNFL),ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer(GCIPL),inner nuclear layer(INL)and outer plexiform layer(OPL),was segmented and tissue volume was calculated.Perfusion was calculated as the flow divided by the tissue volume.Results:The tissue perfusion in CAD patients was 2.58±0.79 nl/s/mm^(3)(mean±standard deviation)and was significantly lower than in CN subjects(3.62±0.44 nl/s/mm^(3),P<0.01),reflecting a decrease of 29%.The flow volume was 2.82±0.92 nl/s in CAD patients,which was 31%lower than in CN subjects(4.09±0.46 nl/s,P<0.01).GCIPL tissue volume was 0.47±0.04 mm^(3) in CAD patients and 6%lower than CN subjects(0.50±0.05 mm^(3),P<0.05).No other significant alterations were found in the intra-retinal layers between CAD and CN participants.Conclusions:This study is the first to show decreased retinal tissue perfusion that may be indicative of diminished tissue metabolic activity in patients with clinical Alzheimer’s disease.Giovana Rosa Gameiro Hong Jiang Yi Liu Yuqing Deng Xiaoyan Sun Bernardo Nascentes Bernard Baumel Tatjana Rundek Jianhua Wang 2018Eye and Vision2018,5,1:2
9Analysis of long term catalytic performance for isobutane alkylation catalyzed by NMA–AlCl3 based ionic liquid analog显示文摘Isobutane alkylation with 2-butene to produce high-quality gasoline was catalyzed by Nmethylacetamide(NMA)-AlCl3 based ionic liquid(IL) analog with a NMA/AlCl3 molar ratio of 0.75 and CuCl modification,which was marked as CuCl-modified 0.75 NMA-1.0 AlCl3.The long-term experiment was carried out in the autoclave operated in continuous mode to investigate the distribution of alkylate under different experimental nodes.The result indicated that the long-term alkylation was divided into three stages:rising,stable,and descending regions.C8 selectivity and molar ratio of trimethylpentanes(TMPs) to dimethylhexanes(DMHs) reached the highest level in the stable region,and research octane number(RON) of alkylate was as high as 97.Anionic Al species([AlbCl7]^-,[A1 CuC15]^-) and cationic Al species([AlCl2 L]^+) from IL analog as two active Lewis acidic species played a catalytic role in the long-term alkylation,whereas the neutral Al species did not participate into the alkylation.Moreover,the structure of CuCl-modified 0.75 NMA-1.0 AlCl3 was destroyed after the deactivation,and CuCl was enriched in the CD2 Cl2-insoluble substance,resulting in a decreasing TMP/DMH ratio.The catalytic lifetime of IL analog was similar with CuCl-modified 0.55 Et3 NHCl-1.0 AlCl3 IL,but IL analog had a lower cost.Pengcheng Hu Zhitao Wu Junlin Wang Yuqing Huang Yang Deng Shufeng Zhou 2019Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,8:1
10Microphysical Properties of Rainwater in Typhoon Usagi(2013):A Numerical Modeling Study显示文摘A 2-km resolution simulation using the Weather Research and Forecasting model with Morrison microphysics was employed to investigate the rainwater microphysical properties during different stages of Typhoon Usagi(2013) in the inner-core and outer region. The model reproduced the track, intensity, and overall structure of Usagi(2013) reasonably. The simulated raindrop size distribution showed a rapid increase in small-size raindrop concentration but an oscillated decrease in large-size ones in the inner-core region, corresponding well with the upward motion. It was found that there existed two levels(1.25 and 5.25 km) of maximum number concentration of raindrops. The ice-related microphysics at high levels was stronger than the warm-rain processes at low levels. The larger raindrops formed by self-collection in the inner-core suffered from significant breakup, but the raindrops outside the eyewall did not experience evident breakup. Model results indicated that the dominant terms in the water vapor budget were the horizontal moisture flux convergence(HFC) and local condensation and deposition. The evaporation from the ocean surface(PBL) was ~10% of the HFC in the inner core, but up to 40% in the outer region as the air therein was far from saturation. Furthermore, water vapor in the outer region was obtained equally through evaporation from the cloud and inward transportation from the environment. 11The accelerated blood clearance phenomenon of PEGylated nanoemulsion upon cross administration with nanoemulsions modified with polyglycerin显示文摘For investigating the accelerated blood clearance(ABC) phenomenon of polyglycerin modified nanoemulsions upon cross administration with polyethylene glycol(PEG) covered nanoemulsion, we used the 1,2-distea-royl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-npolyglycerine-610 and the 1,2-distearoyl-n-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-n-[methoxy(polyethylene glycol)-2000] as modify materials, the dialkylcarbocyanines as fluorescence indicator. Exhausted macrophages rat model was established and new material containing polycarboxyl structure was synthesized. The microplate reader and the in vivo optical imaging system were applied to measure the concentration of nanoemulsions in tissues.The results show that the first dose of polyglycerin modified nanoemulsion can induce the ABC phenomenon of the second dose of PEGylated nanoemulsion. With the increase in the amount of the surface polyglycerin, the extent of the ABC phenomenon decreases. Liver accumulation has positive relationship with the ABC phenomenon. Furthermore, kupffer cells in liver can get more immune information from polyhydroxy structure than polycarboxyl group in the modify compound. 12Single-Cell Microwell Platform Reveals Circulating Neural Cells as a Clinical Indicator for Patients with Blood-Brain Barrier Breakdown显示文摘Central nervous system diseases commonly occur with the destruction of the blood-brain barrier.As a primary cause of morbidity and mortality,stroke remains unpredictable and lacks cellular biomarkers that accurately quantify its occurrence and development.Here,we identify NeuN^(+)/CD45^(−)/DAPI^(+)phenotype nonblood cells in the peripheral blood of mice subjected to middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO)and stroke patients.Since NeuN is a specific marker of neural cells,we term these newly identified cells as circulating neural cells(CNCs).We find that the enumeration of CNCs in the blood is significantly associated with the severity of brain damage in MCAO mice(p<0:05).Meanwhile,the number of CNCs is significantly higher in stroke patients than in negative subjects(p<0:0001).These findings suggest that the amount of CNCs in circulation may serve as a clinical indicator for the real-time prognosis and progression monitor of the occurrence and development of ischemic stroke and other nervous system disease.Yu Zhang Antony R.Warden Khan Zara Ahmad Yanlei Liu Xijun He Minqiao Zheng Xinlong Huo Xiao Zhi Yuqing Ke Hongxia Li Sijia Yan Wenqiong Su Deng Cai Xianting Ding 2021Research2021,,1:0
13Corneal biomechanical changes in allergic conjunctivitis显示文摘Background:To explore corneal biomechanical changes,identify related factors and determine early indicators of keratoconus(KC)development risk in allergic conjunctivitis(AC)patients.Methods:A total of 50 patients,including 20 eyes without AC and 30 eyes with AC were enrolled in this study.All patients underwent a complete ocular examination,including evaluations of clinical manifestations of AC,corneal tomography and densitometry by Pentacam,corneal biomechanics by Corvis ST,and corneal and epithelial thickness mapping by RTvue optical coherence tomography(OCT).Results:The index of surface variance(ISV),index of vertical asymmetry(IVA),keratoconus index(KI),index of height decentration(IHD)and Belin/Ambrosio enhanced ectasia total deviation index(BAD-D)were significantly higher in the AC group than in the non-allergic conjunctivitis(NAC)group(P<0.05).The tomography and biomechanical index(TBl)was also significantly higher in the AC group(P=0.04).The average epithelial thickness in the 2-7 mm annulus was significantly thinner in the AC group than in the NAC group(P<0.05).The average densitometry of the total cornea and the anterior layer were higher in the AC group than in the NAC group(P<0.001).The ISV,IVA,KI,IHD and BAD-D were significantly correlated with the TBI and changes in corneal epithelial thickness in AC patients(P<0.05).The changes in epithelial thickness were closely related to the eye rubbing frequency and allergic sign scores(P<0.05).Conclusions:AC patients should be advised to routinely undergo corneal tomographic and biomechanical measurements,and the TBl could be used as an indicator of KC development risk in AC patients.Trial registration:Corneal Biomechanical Changes of Allergic Conjunctivitis,NCT04299399.Registered March 3,2020-Retrospectively registered.Qian Wang Yuqing Deng Saiqun Li Xinyue Du Xuan Zhao Tingting Zhang Jin Yuan 2023Eye and Vision2023,9,4:0
14Method for the extraction of circulating nucleic acids based on MOF reveals cell-free RNA signatures in liver cancer显示文摘Cell-free RNA(cf RNA) allows assessment of health, status, and phenotype of a variety of human organs and is a potential biomarker to non-invasively diagnose numerous diseases. Nevertheless, there is a lack of highly efficient and bias-free cf RNA isolation technologies due to the low abundance and instability of cf RNA.Here, we developed a reproducible and high-efficiency isolation technology for different types of cell-free nucleic acids(containing cf RNA and viral RNA) in serum/plasma based on the inclusion of nucleic acids by metal-organic framework(MOF) materials, which greatly improved the isolation efficiency and was able to preserve RNA integrity compared with the most widely used research kit method. Importantly, the quality of cf RNA extracted by the MOF method is about 10-fold that of the kit method, and the MOF method isolates more than three times as many different RNA types as the kit method. The whole transcriptome mapping characteristics of cf RNA in serum from patients with liver cancer was described and a cf RNA signature with six cf RNAs was identified to diagnose liver cancer with high diagnostic efficiency(area under curve = 0.905 in the independent validation cohort) using this MOF method. 15Enhancing tylosin production by combinatorial overexpression of efflux,SAM biosynthesis,and regulatory genes in hyperproducing Streptomyces xinghaiensis strain显示文摘Tylosin is a 16-membered macrolide antibiotic widely used in veterinary medicine to control infections caused by Gram-positive pathogens and mycoplasmas.To improve the fermentation titer of tylosin in the hyperproducing Streptomyces xinghaiensis strain TL01,we sequenced its whole genome and identified the biosynthetic gene cluster therein.Overexpression of the tylosin efflux gene tlrC,the cluster-situated S-adenosyl methionine(SAM)synthetase gene metK_(cs),the SAM biosynthetic genes adoK_(cs)-metFcs,or the pathway-specific activator gene tylR enhanced tylosin production by 18%,12%,11%,and 11%in the respective engineered strains TLPH08-2,TLPH09,TLPH10,and TLPH12.Co-overexpression of metK_(cs)and adoK_(cs)-metFcs as two transcripts increased tylosin production by 22%in the resultant strain TLPH11 compared to that in TL01.Furthermore,combinational overexpression of tlrC,metK_(cs),adoK_(cs)-metFcs,and tylR as four transcripts increased tylosin production by 23%(10.93g/L)in the resultant strain TLPH17 compared to that in TL01.However,a negligible additive effect was displayed upon combinational overexpression in TLPH17 as suggested by the limited increment of fermentation titer compared to that in TLPH08-2.Transcription analyses indicated that the expression of tlrC and three SAM biosynthetic genes in TLPH17 was considerably lower than that of TLPH08-2 and TLPH11.Based on this observation,the five genes were rearranged into one or two operons to coordinate their overexpression,yielding two engineered strains TLPH23 and TLPH24,and leading to further enhancement of tylosin production over TLPH17.In particular,the production of TLPH23 reached 11.35 g/L.These findings indicated that the combinatorial strategy is a promising approach for enhancing tylosin production in high-yielding industrial strains.Penghui Dai Yuyao Qin Luyuan Li Haidi Li Lihuo Lv Danying Xu Yuqing Song Tingting Huang Shuangjun Lin Zixin Deng Meifeng Tao 2023Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2023,8,3:0
16Variations of Raindrop Size Distribution and Radar Retrieval in Outer Rainbands of Typhoon Mangkhut(2018)显示文摘The evolution of the microphysical properties of raindrops from Typhoon Mangkhut’s outer rainbands as the storm made landfall in South China in September 2018 was investigated.The observations by three two-dimensional video disdrometers deployed in central Guangdong Province were analyzed concurrently.It was found that the radial distribution of the median volume diameter(D_(0))and normalized intercept parameter(N_(w))varied in different stages,and that raindrops smaller than 3.0 mm contributed more than 99%of the total precipitation.Considering the characteristics of precipitation in the typhoon outer rainband,a modified stratiform rain(SR)-convective rain(CR)separator line is proposed based on D_(0) and N_(w) scatterplots.Meanwhile,an“S-C likelihood index”is introduced,which was used to classify three rain types(SR,CR,and mixed rain).The CR results were highly consistent with those of the improved typhoon precipitation classification method based on rain rate.By calculating effectively the radar reflectivity factor(Ze)in the Ku and Ka bands,D0-Ze and N_(w)-D_(0) empirical relations were thereby derived for improving the accuracy of rainfall retrieval.Among the four quantitative precipitation estimators using S-band dual-polarimetric radar parameters simulated by the T-matrix method,the estimator that adopted the specific differential phase and differential reflectivity was found to be the most effective for both SR and CR.Jingjing LYU Huiwen XIAO Yuchun DU Lina SHA Yuqing DENG Weikai JIA Shengjie NIU Yue ZHOU Guqian PANG 2022Journal of Meteorological Research2022,36,3:0
17The inter-visit variability of retinal blood flow velocity measurements using retinal function imager (RFI)显示文摘Background:To determine the inter-visit variability of retinal blood flow velocities(BFVs)using a retinal function imager(RFI)in healthy young subjects.Methods:Twenty eyes of 20 healthy young subjects were enrolled.RFI imaging was performed to obtain the BFVs in retinal arterioles and venules in a field measuring 7.3×7.3 mm^(2)(setting:35 degrees)centered on the fovea,and repeated measurements were obtained on two separate days.The inter-visit variability of BFVs was assessed by the concordance correlation coefficient(CCC)and coefficient of variance(CV).Results:At the first visit,the mean BFV was 3.6±0.8 mm/s and 3.0±0.7 mm/s in arterioles and venules,respectively,which were not significantly different from those at the second visit(the BFV of arterioles was 3.5±0.8 mm/s,and the BFV of venules was 3.0±0.7 mm/s,P>0.05,respectively).The CCC was 0.72 in the BFVs of arterioles and 0.67 in venules,and the CV was 10.8%in the BFVs of arterioles and 11.0%in venules.Conclusion:The inter-visit variability using the retinal function imager(RFI)with a large field of view appeared to be good and comparable to previously reported intra-visit and inter-eye variability.Yuqing Deng Meng Li Gengyuan Wang Hong Jiang Jianhua Wang Jing Zhong Saiqun Li Jin Yuan 2018Eye and Vision2018,5,1:0
18A Severe Seasonal Influenza Epidemic During 2017–2018 in China After the 2009 Pandemic Influenza: A Modeling Study显示文摘Influenza viruses continue to cause epidemics worldwide every year.However,due to the lack of an effective assessment for the severity of influenza epidemics,it was extremely difficult to take preventative measures.Data were extracted from infectious diseases reports from 2011–2018.Joinpoint regression model and susceptible-exposed-infectious-recovered model were built to understand the characteristics and processes of the epidemic.The reported incidence of influenza was 1,913,698 from January 2011 to February 2018,with an average-yearly-reported-incidence-rate of 19.21 per 100,000.However,there had been a substantial nationwide epidemic of influenza after September 2017,when the average yearly reported incidence rate was 87.29 per 100,000 and an annual percentage change of 48.1%.The hemagglutinin genes of most influenza A(H1N1 and H3N2)viruses from the period of the epidemic had lower homology to those before August 2017.All the hemagglutinin of the recommended A(H3N2,H1N1)and B(Victoria)viruses for vaccines 2017/2018 had low matches with the epidemic viruses.The basic reproduction number was 1.53.The vaccination benefit was linearly related to vaccination coverage,while the quarantine measure had only significantly benefited when over 60%of the quarantined population.The most severe epidemic of influenza in China since 2011 occurred during the period from September 2017 to February 2018.Compared to quarantine,influenza vaccination is more effective way to prevent influenza,and strategies to increase vaccination coverage should be taken for the prevention of severe epidemics of influenza.Xiaofang Fu Yuqing Zhou Jie Wu Xiaoxiao Liu Cheng Ding Chenyang Huang Min Deng Dongyan Shi Chencheng Wang Kaijin Xu Jingjing Ren Bing Ruan Lanjuan Li Shigui Yang 2019Infectious Microbes & Diseases2019,1,1:0
19Design of experiments unravels insights into selective ethylene or methane production on evaporated Cu catalysts显示文摘As a highly tempting technology to close the carbon cycle,electrochemical CO_(2)reduction calls for the development of highly efficient and durable electrocatalysts.In the current study,Design of Experiments utilizing the response surface method is exploited to predict the optimal process variables for preparing high-performance Cu catalysts,unraveling that the selectivity towards methane or ethylene can be simply modulated by varying the evaporation parameters,among which the Cu film thickness is the most pivotal factor to determine the product selectivity.The predicted optimal catalyst with a low Cu thickness affords a high methane Faradaic efficiency of 70.6%at the partial current density of 211.8 m A cm^(-2),whereas that of a high Cu thickness achieves a high ethylene selectivity of 66.8%at267.2 m A cm^(-2)in the flow cell.Further structure-performance correlation and in-situ electrospectroscopic measurements attribute the high methane selectivity to isolated Cu clusters with low packing density and monotonous lattice structure,and the high ethylene efficiency to coalesced Cu nanoparticles with rich grain boundaries and lattice defects.The high Cu packing density and crystallographic diversity is of essence to promoting C–C coupling by stabilizing*CO and suppressing*H coverage on the catalyst surface.This work highlights the implementation of scientific and mathematic methods to uncover optimal catalysts and mechanistic understandings toward selective electrochemical CO_(2)reduction.Jian Cheng Yuqing Bai Zhihe Wei Qiaoqiao Mu Hao Sun Ling Lin Long Xiao Xulan Xie Zhao Deng Yang Peng 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,,12:0
20Corneal biomechanical changes in allergic conjunctivitis显示文摘Background:To explore corneal biomechanical changes,identify related factors and determine early indicators of keratoconus(KC)development risk in allergic conjunctivitis(AC)patients.Methods:A total of 50 patients,including 20 eyes without AC and 30 eyes with AC were enrolled in this study.All patients underwent a complete ocular examination,including evaluations of clinical manifestations of AC,corneal tomography and densitometry by Pentacam,corneal biomechanics by Corvis ST,and corneal and epithelial thickness mapping by RTvue optical coherence tomography(OCT).Results:The index of surface variance(ISV),index of vertical asymmetry(IVA),keratoconus index(KI),index of height decentration(IHD)and Belin/Ambrosio enhanced ectasia total deviation index(BAD-D)were significantly higher in the AC group than in the non-allergic conjunctivitis(NAC)group(P<0.05).The tomography and biomechanical index(TBI)was also significantly higher in the AC group(P=0.04).The average epithelial thickness in the 2-7mm annulus was significantly thinner in the AC group than in the NAC group(P<0.05).The average densitometry of the total cornea and the anterior layer were higher in the AC group than in the NAC group(P<0.001).The ISV,IVA,KI,IHD and BAD-D were significantly correlated with the TBI and changes in corneal epithelial thickness in AC patients(P<0.05).The changes in epithelial thickness were closely related to the eye rubbing frequency and allergic sign scores(P<0.05).Conclusions:AC patients should be advised to routinely undergo corneal tomographic and biomechanical measurements,and the TBI could be used as an indicator of KC development risk in AC patients.Qian Wang Yuqing Deng Saiqun Li Xinyue Du Xuan Zhao Tingting Zhang Jin Yuan 2021Eye and Vision2021,8,1:0
