2Removal of bromate ion using powdered activated carbon显示文摘Bromate ion (BrO 3) removal from drinking water by powdered activated carbons (PAC S) in bath mode was evaluated under various operational conditions.Six kinds of PACs,including wood-based carbon,fruit-based carbon,coal-based carbon,and these three carbons thermally deoxidized in a nitrogen atmosphere,were selected to investigate their capacity on BrO 3 removal.With the highest zeta potential value and being richly mesoporous,coal-based carbon had a high and an excellent BrO 3 adsorption efficiency.The removal content of BrO 3 by per gram of coal-based carbon was 0.45 mg within 5 hr in 100 μg/L bromate solution.The surface characteristics of PACs and bromide formation revealed that both physical and chemical PACs properties simultaneously affected the adsorptionreduction process.Under acidic conditions,PAC S possessed high zeta value and adequate basic groups and exhibited neutral or positive charges,promoting BrO 3 adsorption-reduction on the carbon surface.Interestingly,the PAC S thermally deoxidized in N 2 atmosphere optimized their properties,e.g.increasing their zeta values and decreasing the oxygen content which accelerated the BrO 3 removal rate.The maximum adsorption capacity of fruit-based carbon was the highest among all tested carbons (99.6 mg/g),possibly due to its highest pore volume.Remarkably,the thermal regeneration of PACs in N 2 atmosphere could completely recover the adsorption capacity of PACs.The kinetic data obtained from carbons was analyzed using pseudo second-order and intraparticle diffusion models,with results showing that the intraparticle diffusion was the more applicable model to describe adsorption of BrO 3 onto PACs.Lian Wang Jie Zhang Jingze Liu Hong He Min Yang Jianwei Yu Zichuan Ma Feng Jiang 2010Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,12:3
3Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 1 is a CROPs-associated receptor for Clostridioides infection toxin B显示文摘As the leading cause of worldwide hospital-acquired infection,Clostridioides difficile(C.difficile)infection has caused heavy economic and hospitalized burden,while its pathogenesis is not fully understood.Toxin B(Tcd B)is one of the major virulent factors of C.difficile.Recently,CSPG4 and FZD2 were reported to be the receptors that mediate Tcd B cellular entry.However,genetic ablation of genes encoding these receptors failed to completely block Tcd B entry,implicating the existence of alternative receptor(s)for this toxin.Here,by employing the CRISPR-Cas9 screen in CSPG4-deficient He La cells,we identified LDL receptor-related protein-1(LRP1)as a novel receptor for Tcd B.Knockout of LRP1 in both CSPG4-deficient He La cells and colonic epithelium Caco2 cells conferred cells with increased Tcd B resistance,while LRP1 overexpression sensitized cells to Tcd B at a low concentration.Co-immunoprecipitation assay showed that LRP1 interacts with full-length Tcd B.Moreover,CROPs domain,which is dispensable for Tcd B’s interaction with CSPG4 and FZD2,is sufficient for binding to LRP1.As such,our study provided evidence for a novel mechanism of Tcd B entry and suggested potential therapeutic targets for treating C.difficile infection.Shengjie Guo Yiou Chen Jingze Liu Xinyi Zhang Zhiheng Liu Zhuo Zhou Wensheng Wei 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,1:2

6Synergistic modulation of Li nucleation/growth enabled by CNTswrapped lithiophilic CoP/Co_(2)P decorated hollow carbon polyhedron host for stable lithium metal anodes显示文摘Infinite volume expansion and uncontrolled lithium dendrite growth are the main bottlenecks that greatly hinder the commercial application of lithium metal anodes.Herein,derived from zeolitic imidazolate framework(ZIF)-67,carbon nanotubes(CNTs)-wrapped and CoP/Co_(2)P uniformly distributed nitrogen-doped hollow porous polyhedron carbon(CNT-CoP@NC)is elaborately designed as lithium metal host.A hybrid of N-doping and metallic phosphides modifications improves the lithiophilicity and reduces the nucleation barrier,consequently leading to homogeneous nucleation and smooth deposition of metallic lithium,thus suppresses the growth of Li dendrites.Meanwhile,self-generated CNTs arrays efficiently reduce the local current density.Moreover,the reduced lithium is preferentially deposited into the hollow structure of CNT-CoP@NC and then filled the voids among the CNT-CoP@NC particles.This all-pervasive Li plating design can not only alleviate the volume effect,but also maximize the anode space utilization.Benefiting from these synergistic modulations,even with an ultra-thin(7.2μm)anode layer of CNT-CoP@NC host,a high Coulombic efficiency for more than 400 cycles and an extended lifespan of 1,700 h under 1 mA·cm^(−2)can be achieved.When paired with a competitive high mass loading(17.1 mg·cm^(−2))LiFePO4 cathode,a superb cycling stability(126.7 mAh·g^(−1)over 550 cycles)is recorded at 1 C.Zhicui Song Yuchi Liu Zihao Wang Jianxiong Xing Chaohui Wei Wei Zou Aijun Zhou Jingze Li 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:1
7Multiparameter optimization and configuration comparison of supercritical CO_(2) Brayton cycles based on efficiency and cost tradeoff显示文摘Supercritical CO_(2)Brayton cycle has high efficiency,compactness,and excellent power generation potential.In the design of the cycle,some parameters,such as recuperator pinch point temperature difference(ΔTrec,pp),turbine inlet temperature(Ttur,in),and maximum cycle pressure(pmax),are often preset without optimization.Furthermore,different preferences on efficiency and cost tradeoff can significantly affect the optimal design of the cycle,and the influence of different parameters on the design condition and the optimum cycle configuration becomes unclear as the preference changes.In this study,different preferences on efficiency and cost tradeoff are considered,and the effects of cycle configuration and optimization parameter addition on the tradeoff are investigated.In addition,four configurations under different preferences on tradeoff are recommended.Results show that the design condition parametersΔT_(rec,pp) decrease and T_(tur,in) and pmax increase as the preference of thermal efficiency(W_(th))increases.Different optimized parameters affect the results of the design point and cycle performance.In addition,the simple recuperative cycle and reheating cycle are recommended when low cycle initial cost dominates(W_(th)<0.598),and the recompression cycle and intercooling cycle are recommended when high cycle thermal efficiency dominates(W_(th)>0.701).The decision maker can select appropriate configuration according to specific preferences.LIU TianYe YANG JingZe YANG Zhen DUAN YuanYuan 2021Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,10:1
8HID-1 is a peripheral membrane protein primarily associated with the medial-and transGolgi apparatus显示文摘Caenorhabditis elegans hid-1 gene was first identified in a screen for mutants with a high-temperature-induced dauer formation(Hid)phenotype.Despite the fact that the hid-1 gene encodes a novel protein(HID-1)which is highly conserved from Caenorhabditis elegans to mammals,the domain structure,subcellular localization,and exact function of HID-1 remain unknown.Previous studies and various bioinformatic softwares predicted that HID-1 contained many transmembrane domains but no known functional domain.In this study,we revealed that mammalian HID-1 localized to the medial-and transGolgi apparatus as well as the cytosol,and the localization was sensitive to brefeldin A treatment.Next,we demonstrated that HID-1 was a peripheral membrane protein and dynamically shuttled between the Golgi apparatus and the cytosol.Finally,we verified that a conserved N-terminal myristoylation site was required for HID-1 binding to the Golgi apparatus.We propose that HID-1 is probably involved in the intracellular trafficking within the Golgi region.Lifen Wang Yi Zhan Eli Song Yong Yu Yaming Jiu Wen Du Jingze Lu Pingsheng Liu Pingyong Xu Tao Xu 2011Protein & Cell2011,2,1:1
9ZnF_(2)coated three dimensional Li-Ni composite anode for improved performance显示文摘Lithium metal is a promising anode material for high energy density batteries,which is restricted from practical application by the issues including lithium dendrite,parasitic reaction and volumetric change.Herein,a strategy combing bulk and surface modification is proposed to address these problems.The bulk modification is to use Ni foam as three dimensional(3D)scaffold for direct infusion of molten Li resulting in the formation of Li-Ni composite anode,which reduces actual current density by increasing specific surface area and alleviates volumetric change in the process of Li stripping/plating.And the surface modification is to coat with ZnF_(2)film via sputtering,which is acted as artificial protective layer for controlling interfacial side reaction.The symmetric cell consisting of ZnF_(2)coated Li-Ni composite electrodes exhibits low overpotential(about 45 mV)and stable cycling over 900 h at 1mA cm^(-2).Furthermore,the cell with LiCoO_(2)cathode delivers 110 mAh g^(-1)at 1 C rate after 500 cycles.Weishang Jia Ying Wang Siji Qu Zeyu Yao Yuchi Liu Chao Li Zhihong Wang Jingze Li 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,2:1

17NAS4RRAM: neural network architecture search for inference on RRAM-based accelerators显示文摘The RRAM-based accelerators enable fast and energy-efficient inference for neural networks.However, there are some requirements to deploy neural networks on RRAM-based accelerators, which are not considered in existing neural networks.(1) Because the noise problem and analog-digital converters/digitalanalog converters(ADC/DAC) affect the prediction accuracy, they should be modeled in networks.(2) Because the weights are mapped to the RRAM cells, they should be quantized, and the number of weights is limited by the number of RRAM cells in the accelerator. These requirements motivate us to customize the hardware-friendly network for the RRAM-based accelerator. We take the idea of network architecture search(NAS) to design networks with high prediction accuracy that meet the requirements. We propose a framework called NAS4RRAM to search for the optimal network on the given RRAM-based accelerator. The experiments demonstrate that NAS4RRAM can apply to different RRAM-based accelerators with different scales. 18Effects of urea-N and CO_(2) coupling fertilization on the growth,photosynthesis,yield and anthocyanin content of hydroponic purple cabbage Brassica campestris ssp.chinensis显示文摘Water and fertilizer coupling is a high-efficiency technology for the development of facility agriculture.However,the interaction effect of nitrogen(N)and air carbon dioxide(CO_(2))on hydroponic purple cabbage,especially on its leaf anthocyanins under hydroponic solution systems,remains unexplored.In this study,six treatments were set as C0N0,C0N2,C0N4,C1N0,C1N2 and C1N4,with N0,N2 and N4 being 0.0 g/L,0.2 g/L and 0.4 g/L exogenous urea-N to hydroponic solution dilution,respectively.C0 and C1 were set as with and without CO_(2)fertilizer(i.e.,800 g CO_(2)agent added one week after transplanting and 600 g CO_(2)agent added when the plant reached 15 cm in height),respectively.Pot experiments were conducted to investigate the interaction effect of N and air CO_(2)(N×CO_(2))on the growth,photosynthesis,yield and anthocyanin content of hydroponic purple cabbage Brassica campestris ssp.chinensis.The results showed N×CO_(2)extremely significantly influenced plant height(H),net photosynthetic rate(Pn),stomatal conductance(Gs),intercellular oxidation concentration(Ci),transpiration rate(Tr),leaf water use efficiency(LWUE)and yield.The C1N0 treatment had the largest yield at 262.5 g/plant,with higher values for root length,root weight,plant height and leaf number than the other treatments.The Pn,Ci and Tr of C1N4 were the highest at 3.05μmol CO_(2)/m2·s,352.8μmol CO_(2)/m2·s and 2.31 mmol H2O/m2·s,respectively.The C1N2 treatment received the largest Gs value of 0.70 mol H2O/m2·s and the largest Tr of 2.31 mmol H2O/m2·s.There was the highest LWUE for C0N2(1.41)and the highest anthocyanin content for C1N2(1.35 mg/kg).There was a significant negative correlation between leaf number and anthocyanin(r=-0.414,p<0.05).The findings demonstrated that adding CO_(2)fertilizer and 0.2 g/L exogenous urea-N to hydroponic solution dilution is a potential N×CO_(2)coupling strategy to increase anthocyanin and the yield of purple cabbage.Danyan Chen Yuanyuan Feng Ya Liu Juan Hu Shilong Li Jingze Ma Xinyu Lu Xiaorui Jiang Shuhui Sun Zhi Yang Changyi Wang 2023International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,5:0
19DuFNet:Dual Flow Network of Real-Time Semantic Segmentation for Unmanned Driving Application of Internet of Things显示文摘The application of unmanned driving in the Internet of Things is one of the concrete manifestations of the application of artificial intelligence technology.Image semantic segmentation can help the unmanned driving system by achieving road accessibility analysis.Semantic segmentation is also a challenging technology for image understanding and scene parsing.We focused on the challenging task of real-time semantic segmentation in this paper.In this paper,we proposed a novel fast architecture for real-time semantic segmentation named DuFNet.Starting from the existing work of Bilateral Segmentation Network(BiSeNet),DuFNet proposes a novel Semantic Information Flow(SIF)structure for context information and a novel Fringe Information Flow(FIF)structure for spatial information.We also proposed two kinds of SIF with cascaded and paralleled structures,respectively.The SIF encodes the input stage by stage in the ResNet18 backbone and provides context information for the feature fusionmodule.Features from previous stages usually contain rich low-level details but high-level semantics for later stages.Themultiple convolutions embed in Parallel SIF aggregate the corresponding features among different stages and generate a powerful global context representation with less computational cost.The FIF consists of a pooling layer and an upsampling operator followed by projection convolution layer.The concise component provides more spatial details for the network.Compared with BiSeNet,our work achieved faster speed and comparable performance with 72.34%mIoU accuracy and 78 FPS on Cityscapes Dataset based on the ResNet18 backbone.Tao Duan Yue Liu Jingze Li Zhichao Lian d Qianmu Li 2023Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2023,,7:0
20Li-Ca Alloy Composite Anode with Ant-Nest-Like Lithiophilic Channels in Carbon Cloth Enabling High-Performance Li Metal Batteries显示文摘Constructing a three-dimensional(3D)multifunctional hosting architecture and subsequent thermal infusion of molten Li to produce advanced Li composite is an effective strategy for stable Li metal anode.However,the pure liquid Li is difficult to spread across the surface of various substrates due to its large surface tension and poor wettability,hindering the production and application of Li composite anode.Herein,heteroatomic Ca is doped into molten Li to generate Li-Ca alloy,which greatly regulates the surface tension of the molten alloy and improves the wettability against carbon cloth(CC).Moreover,a secondary network composed of CaLi2 intermetallic compound with interconnected ant-nest-like lithiophilic channels is in situ formed and across the primary scaffold of CC matrix by infiltrating molten Li-Ca alloy into CC and then cooling treatment(LCAC),which has a larger and lithiophilic surface to enable uniform Li deposition into interior space of the hybrid scaffold without Li dendrites.Therefore,LCAC exhibits a long-term lifespan for 1100 h under a current density of 5 mA cm^(-2)with fixed areal capacity of 5 mAh cm^(-2).Remarkably,full cells paired with practical-level LiFePO4 cathode of 2.45 mAh cm^(-2)deliver superior performance.Zihao Wang Yuchi Liu Jianxiong Xing Zhicui Song Aijun Zhou Wei Zou Fu Zhou Jingze Li 2022Research2022,,3:0
