2风机桨叶用PVC和巴塞木雷击电弧损伤的分子模拟研究显示文摘雷击电弧热效应下风机桨叶夹层材料PVC和巴塞木的损伤机制尚不明晰。该文对PVC和巴塞木开展冲击大电流实验,发现在雷击电弧热效应下,PVC和巴塞木残余强度明显下降,且PVC下降速度更快。采用分子反应动力学仿真手段,对PVC和巴塞木的损伤机制进行研究,发现:冲击热场下,纤维素(巴塞木主要成分)大分子链逐渐断裂,聚合度呈波动下降,而PVC聚合度下降幅度比纤维素小。峰值温度为1498K时,PVC产气量远大于纤维素,而当峰值温度升至2998K时,纤维素产气量逐渐与PVC持平。纤维素分子通过氢键吸附较多水分子,在高温作用下水分受热膨胀成为纤维素损伤的关键因素,而PVC中水分含量较少。上述结果可为不同环境的风机叶片夹层材料优化选型提供参考。闫江燕 张黎 李庆民 郭子炘 马宇飞 肖伊 任瀚文 陈淳 方致阳 Yan Joseph D. 2017中国电机工程学报2017,37,1:14
3大型风机叶片雷击多通道电弧气爆损伤的实验显示文摘风机叶片雷击事故多发,而雷击下桨叶机械损伤机理的研究很少。通过调研风电场雷击数据和实验模拟,获得雷击位置分布规律,结合桨叶材料损伤得到雷击电弧多通道路径。采用极细镍铬丝铺设电弧路径,对5m长风机叶片开展大电流注入实验,发现引下线在两腹板之间,会减小后缘开裂长度,但将对后缘腹板及两腹板之间区域造成巨大损伤;引下线在后缘腹板外侧,可将损伤控制在后缘腹板之外。引弧孔距叶尖较远时,损伤以引弧孔为中心向两侧等距延伸;引弧孔距叶尖越近,叶尖方向的损伤越严重,直至危及叶尖接闪器。高速相机拍摄的动态过程表明,叶尖方向的损伤主要缘于电弧气流的多次回流冲击。研究成果可帮助揭示叶片动态损伤机制,指导其防雷设计。闫江燕 马宇飞 于万水 李庆民 姚威 Yan Joseph D. 2019中国电机工程学报2019,39,12:7
4Operation characteristics of AMS-02 loop heat pipe with bypass valve显示文摘Loop heat pipes (LHPs) were designed for the alpha magnetic spectrometer (AMS-02) to dissipate heat from the cryocoolers. A bypass valve is applied to the LHP to keep the cryocooler temperature above its limit ( 20°C) in cold environment. Extensive experiments were performed on operation characteristics of LHPs with the bypass valve for AMS-02 during thermal vacuum and thermal balance (TVTB) test. We found that the bypass valve can start up successfully in cold environment. With the bypass valve, the evaporator temperature is stable and can meet the requirement of the cryocooler. We analyzed three operating modes of the bypass valve. 5Superior growth performance in broiler chicks fed chelated compared to inorganic zinc in presence of elevated dietary copper显示文摘Background: The goal of this study was to compare the antagonism of elevated dietary Cu(250 mg/kg) from Cu SO4 on three different Zn sources(Zn SO4· H2O; [Zn bis(-2-hydroxy-4-(methylthio)butanoic acid)], Zn(HMTBa)2,a chelated Zn methionine hydroxy analogue; and Zn-Methionine), as measured using multiple indices of animal performance in ROSS 308 broilers.Methods: Three experiments were conducted in broiler chicks fed a semi-purified diet. Al birds were fed a Zn-deficient diet(8.5 mg/kg diet) for 1 wk, and then provided with the experimental diets for 2 wks.Results: Experiment 1 was a 2 × 2 factorial design with two levels of Cu(8 vs. 250 mg/kg diet from Cu SO4) and two Zn sources at 30 mg/kg [Zn SO4· H2 O vs. Zn(HMTBa)2]. Elevated Cu impaired growth performance only in birds fed Zn SO4.Compared to Zn SO4· H2 O, Zn(HMTBa)2improved feed intake(12 %; P < 0.001) and weight gain(12 %, P < 0.001) and the benefits were more pronounced in the presence of 250 mg/kg diet Cu. Experiment 2 was a dose titration of Zn SO4· H2 O and Zn(HMTBa)2at 30, 45, 60, and 75 mg/kg diet in the presence of 250 mg/kg Cu SO4. Feed:gain was decreased and tibia Zn was increased with increasing Zn levels from 30 to 75 mg/kg. Birds fed Zn(HMTBa)2consumed more food and gained more weight compared to birds fed Zn SO4, especially at lower supplementation levels(30 and45 mg/kg; interaction P < 0,05). Experiment 3 compared two organic Zn sources(Zn(HMTBa)2vs. Zn-Methionine)at 30 mg/kg with or without 250 mg/kg Cu SO4. No interactions were observed between Zn sources and Cu levels on performance or tissue mineral concentrations. High dietary Cu decreased weight gain(P < 0.01). Tibia Cu and liver Cu were significantly increased with 250 mg/kg dietary Cu supplementation(P < 0.01). No difference was observed between the two Zn sources.Conclusions: Dietary 250 mg/kg Cu significantly impaired feed intake and weight gain in birds fed Zn SO4· H2 O,but had less impact in birds fed Zn(HMTBa)2. No difference was observed between the two organic zinc sources.These results are consistent with the hypothesis that chelated organic Zn is better utilized than inorganic zinc in the presence of elevated Cu.Junmei Zhao Robert B. 12A preliminary validation of the Brief COPE instrument for assessing coping strategies among people living with HIV in China显示文摘Background:The Brief COPE instrument has been utilized to conduct research on various populations,including people living with HIV(PLWH).However,the questionnaire constructs when applied to PLWH have not been subjected to thorough factor validation.Methods:A total of 258 PLWH were recruited from two provinces of China.They answered questions involving the scales of three instruments:the Brief COPE,the Perceived Social Support Scale,and the Perceived Discrimination Scale for PLWH.Confirmatory factor analysis(CFA)and exploratory factor analysis(EFA)were conducted.Results:The CFA found a poor goodness of fit to the data.The subsequent EFA identified six preliminary factors,forming subscales with Cronbach’s alphas,which ranged from 0.61 to 0.80.Significant correlation coefficients between the subscales and measures of perceived social support and perceived discrimination were reported,giving preliminary support to the validity of the new empirical factor structure.Conclusion:This study showed that the original factor structure of the Brief COPE instrument,when applied to PLWH in China,did not fit the data.Thus,the Brief COPE should be applied to various populations and cultures with caution.The new factor structure established by the EFA is only preliminary and requires further validation.Xiao-you Su Joseph TF Lau Winnie WS Mak KC Choi Tie-jian Feng Xi Chen Chu-liang Liu Jun Liu De Liu Lin Chen Jun-min Song Yan Zhang Guang-lu Zhao Zhang-ping Zhu Jin-quan Cheng 2015Infectious Diseases of Poverty2015,4,1:2

18Overexpression of Lrp5 enhanced the anti-breast cancer effects of osteocytes in bone显示文摘Osteocytes are the most abundant cells in bone,which is a frequent site of breast cancer metastasis.Here,we focused on Wnt signaling and evaluated tumor-osteocyte interactions.In animal experiments,mammary tumor cells were inoculated into the mammary fat pad and tibia.The role of Lrp5-mediated Wnt signaling was examined by overexpressing and silencing Lrp5 in osteocytes and establishing a conditional knockout mouse model.The results revealed that administration of osteocytes or their conditioned medium(CM)inhibited tumor progression and osteolysis.Osteocytes overexpressing Lrp5 or β-catenin displayed strikingly elevated tumor-suppressive activity,accompanied by downregulation of tumor-promoting chemokines and upregulation of apoptosis-inducing and tumor-suppressing proteins such as p53.The antitumor effect was also observed with osteocyte-derived CM that was pretreated with a Wnt-activating compound.Notably,silencing Lrp5 in tumors inhibited tumor progression,while silencing Lrp5 in osteocytes in conditional knockout mice promoted tumor progression.Osteocytes exhibited elevated Lrp5 expression in response to tumor cells,implying that osteocytes protect bone through canonical Wnt signaling.Thus,our results suggest that the Lrp5/β-catenin axis activates tumor-promoting signaling in tumor cells but tumor-suppressive signaling in osteocytes.We envision that osteocytes with Wnt activation potentially offer a novel cell-based therapy for breast cancer and osteolytic bone metastasis.Shengzhi Liu Di Wu Xun Sun Yao Fan Rongrong Zha Aydin Jalali Yan Feng Kexin Li Tomohiko Sano Nicole Vike Fangjia Li Joseph Rispoli Akihiro Sudo Jing Liu Alexander Robling Harikrishna Nakshatri Bai-Yan Li Hiroki Yokota 2021Bone Research2021,9,4:1
