| 1 | Preparation and CO2 adsorption properties of porous carbon by hydrothermal carbonization of tree leaves显示文摘Porous carbon materials were prepared by hydrothermal carbonization(HTC) and KOH activation of camphor leaves and camellia leaves. The morphology, pore structure, chemical properties and CO2 capture ability of the porous carbon prepared from the two leaves were compared. The effect of HTC temperature on the structure and CO2 adsorption properties was especially investigated. It was found that HTC temperature had a major effect on the structure of the product and the ability to capture CO2. The porous carbon materials prepared from camellia leaves at the HTC temperature of 240℃ had the highest proportion of microporous structure, the largest specific surface area(up to 1823.77m^2/g) and the maximum CO2 adsorption capacity of 8.30mmol/g at 25℃ under 0.4 MPa. For all prepared porous carbons, simulation results of isothermal adsorption model showed that Langmuir isotherm model described the adsorption equilibrium data better than Freundlich isotherm model. For porous carbons prepared from camphor leaves, pseudo-first order kinetic model was well fitted with the experimental data. However,for porous carbons prepared from camellia leaves, both pseudo-first and pseudo-second order kinetics model adsorption behaviors were present. | 2 | Micro-droplet Digital Polymerase Chain Reaction and Real-Time Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction Technologies Provide Highly Sensitive and Accurate Detection of Zika Virus显示文摘The establishment of highly sensitive diagnostic methods is critical in the early diagnosis and control of Zika virus(ZIKV)and in preventing serious neurological complications of ZIKV infection. In this study, we established micro-droplet digital polymerase chain reaction(ddPCR) and real-time quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR) protocols for the detection of ZIKV based on the amplification of the NS5 gene. For the ZIKV standard plasmid, the RT-qPCR results showed that the cycle threshold(Ct) value was linear from 10~1 to 10~8 copy/l L, with a standard curve R^2 of 0.999 and amplification efficiency of 92.203%;however, a concentration as low as 1 copy/l L could not be detected. In comparison with RT-qPCR, the dd PCR method resulted in a linear range of 10~1–10~4 copy/l L and was able to detect concentrations as low as 1 copy/l L. Thus, for detecting ZIKV from clinical samples, RT-qPCR is a better choice for high-concentration samples(above 10~1 copy/l L),while ddPCR has excellent accuracy and sensitivity for low-concentration samples. | 3 | Thermally stable photoluminescence and long persistent luminescence of Ca3Ga4O9:Tb^3+/Zn^2+显示文摘A green long persistent luminescence(LPL) phosphor Ca_3 Ga_4 O_9:Tb^(3+)/Zn^(2+) was prepared. Ca_3 Ga_4 O_9 matrix exhibits blue self-activated LPL due to the creation of intrinsic traps. When Tb3+ is doped, the photoluminescence(PL) and LPL colors change from blue to green with their intensities significantly enhanced. The doping of Zn^(2+) evidently improves the PL and LPL performances of the Ca_3Ga_4O_9 matrix and Ca_3Ga_4O_9:Tb^(3+). The thermoluminescence(TL) spectra show that a successive trap distribution is formed by multiple intrinsic traps with different depths in the Ca_3 Ga_4 O_9 matrix, and the incorporation of Tb^(3+) and Zn^(2+) effectively increases the densities of these intrinsic traps. | 4 | Homologous Strategy to Construct High‑Performance Coupling Electrodes for Advanced Potassium‑Ion Hybrid Capacitors显示文摘Potassium-ion hybrid capacitors(PIHCs)have been considered as promising potentials in mid-to large-scale storage system applications owing to their high energy and power density.However,the process involving the intercalation of K+into the carbonaceous anode is a sluggish reaction,while the adsorption of anions onto the cathode surface is relatively faster,resulting in an inability to exploit the advantage of high energy.To achieve a high-performance PIHC,it is critical to promote the K^+insertion/desertion in anodic materials and design suitable cathodic materials matching the anodes.In this study,we propose a facile“homologous strategy”to construct suitable anode and cathode for high-performance PIHCs,that is,unique multichannel carbon fiber(MCCF)-based anode and cathode materials are firstly prepared by electrospinning,and then followed by sulfur doping and KOH activation treatment,respectively.Owing to a multichannel structure with a large interlayer spacing for introducing S in the sulfur-doped multichannel carbon fiber(S-MCCF)composite,it presents high capacity,super rate capability,and long cycle stability as an anode in potassium-ion cells.The cathode composite of activated multichannel carbon fiber(aMCCF)has a considerably high specific surface area of 1445 m^2 g^−1 and exhibits outstanding capacitive performance.In particular,benefiting from advantages of the fabricated S-MCCF anode and aMCCF cathode by homologous strategy,PIHCs assembled with the unique MCCF-based anode and cathode show outstanding electrochemical performance,which can deliver high energy and power densities(100 Wh kg^−1 at 200 W kg^−1,and 58.3 Wh kg^−1 at 10,000 W kg^−1)and simultaneously exhibit superior cycling stability(90%capacity retention over 7000 cycles at 1.0 A g^−1).The excellent electrochemical performance of the MCCF-based composites for PIHC electrodes combined with their simple construction renders such materials attractive for further in-depth investigations of alkali-ion battery and capacitor applications. | Ying Xu Jiafeng Ruan Yuepeng Pang Hao Sun Chu Liang Haiwen Li Junhe Yang Shiyou Zheng | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,1: | 3 |

| 6 | Engineering CoMoO_(4) in reduced graphene oxide as superior cathode hosts for advanced room-temperature sodium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Promising room-temperature sodium-sulfur(RT Na-S)battery systems rely on purposely designed highperforming and low-cost electrode materials.Nevertheless,there are the challenges of irreversible dissolution and slow redox kinetics of NaPSs in the complete discharge of sulfur capacity.Herein,engineered CoMoO_(4)in reduced graphene oxide(CoMoO_(4)@rGO)is reported as a class of superior cathode hosts for RT Na-S batteries.The CoMoO_(4)@rGO matrix is designed to facilitate the reversible sodiation and desodiation of sulfur,considering the strong chemisorption between sulfur(and short-chain sodium sulfides)and CoMoO_(4),which alleviates the shuttle effect of sodium sulfides and accelerates the electrochemical reaction rate at RT.The obtained S/CoMoO_(4)@rGO cathode with~52%S loading exhibits a high capacity of520.1 mA h g^(-1)after 100 cycles at 0.1 A g^(-1).Moreover,an enhanced long-term performance at high current densities(212.2 mA h g^(-1)at 4 A g^(-1)over 1000 cycles)with high Coulombic efficiency(~100%)is also achieved.This work demonstrates a novel multifunctional additive for RT Na-S battery cathodes,which is expected to promote the long-waited development towards practical applications of RT Na-S batteries. | Xin Ye Sainan Luo Zhiqi Li Jiafeng Ruan Yuepeng Pang Junhe Yang John Wang Shiyou Zheng | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,11: | 1 |

| 10 | Anti-corrosion and electrically conductive inorganic conversion coatings based on aligned graphene derivatives by electrodeposition显示文摘Ultrathin conversion coatings, made from aligned graphene derivatives and ammonium zirconium carbonate(AZC), were fabricated on stainless steel by electrodeposition. Sulfonated graphene oxide (SGO) provided electronpathways and physical barriers to corrosive molecules. Electrodeposition ensured the alignment of SGO and thefacile fabrication of the coatings. AZC is an environmental-friendly crosslinking agent, water-repellent andcorrosion inhibitor. Upon dehydration reactions, AZC improved the cohesion between SGO layers and anchoredthe conversion coatings on metal substrates. When the mass ratio of SGO to AZC was 2:1, the corrosion currentdensity of the composite coatings reached 0.098 μA cm^(-2), while that of the bared stainless steel was1.04 μA cm ^(-2), given a coating thickness of only 500 nm. | 14 | NATURAL HISTORY OBSERVATION FOR ESOPHAGEAL AND CARDIA PRECURSORS BY REPETITIVE ENDOSCOPIC SCREENING OF 301 SUBJECTS IN SHEXIAN显示文摘OBJECTIVE To investigate the natural history of fast developing esopha- geal and cardia precursors. METHODS Repetitive endoscopic screenings were performed among 40-69-year-olds in the high-incidence areas for esophageal cancer in Shexian. RESULTS The initial diagnosis and the lag-time for 7 subsequently identified severe dysplasia(SD)subjects were as follows:in one subject 13 months after a baseline diagnosis of normal epithelium,in another subject 7 months after a baseline diagnosis of base cell hyperplasia(BCH),in four subjects 3,4,4,and 10.5 months after baseline diagnosis of mild dysplasia (mD),and in one subject 12.5 months after a baseline diagnosis of moder- ate dysplasia(MD).The initial diagnosis and the lag-time for 6 subsequently identified carcinomas in situ or intramucosal carcinoma cases were:in one case 48 months after a baseline diagnosis of mD,in 2 cases 4 and 13 months after baseline diagnoses of MD,and in the other 3 cases 3.5,9,and 17.5 months after baseline diagnoses of SD.The initial diagnosis and lag- time for 3 subsequently identified invasive cancer cases were:in one case 50 months after a baseline diagnosis of MD,in 2 cases 14 and 19 months after baseline diagnoses of SD.In addition,during a 4-year-fol ow-up of 18 subjects after endoscopic mucosa resection,9 of them were found to have developed precursors again at other sites,and also additional findings were obtained for 11 of the 16 dysplasia cases by repetitive biopsy in less than 2 months after the initial endoscopy. | 16 | The prediction of recurrence and survival of patients with Dukes’ B colorectal cancer after curative resection with immunohistochemical detection of Survivin and Livin expressions显示文摘Objective: To detect the expressions of Survivin and Livin in Dukes’ B colorectal cancer tissues and analyze the prognosis after curative resection. Methods: The expressions of Survivin and Livin were evaluated immunohistochemically in Dukes’ B colorectal cancer specimens from 81 patients after curative resection of the tumor. Their correlations to clinical characters and survival were also explored. Results: The positive rates of Survivin and Livin in colorectal cancer tissues were significantly higher than those in normal colorectal tissues (58.0% vs. 16.7% and 45.7% vs. 8.3% respectively, P < 0.05). The expressions of Survivin and Livin were not related to gender, tumor site, primary size, T stage, pathologic category, and degree of differentiation (P > 0.05), and no relationship was found between the expressions of Survivin and Livin (P > 0.05). The expression rate of Survivin in patients older than 50 years was higher than that in patients younger than 50 years (70.6% vs. 36.7%, P < 0.05). Both Survivin and Livin were related to recurrence and/or metastasis (P = 0.02 and P = 0.001, respectively), and shorter survival (P = 0.039 and P = 0.001, respectively). Cox multivariate analysis showed T4 and positive Livin expression were independent prognostic factors (P = 0.002 and P = 0.047, respectively). | 18 | Combining field data and modeling to better understand maize growth response to phosphorus(P) fertilizer application and soil P dynamics in calcareous soils显示文摘We used field experimental data to evaluate the ability of the agricultural production system model (APSIM) to simulate soil P availability,maize biomass and grain yield in response to P fertilizer applications on a fluvo-aquic soil in the North China Plain.Crop and soil data from a 2-year experiment with three P fertilizer application rates(0,75 and 300 kg P_(2)O_(5) ha^(–1)) were used to calibrate the model.Sensitivity analysis was carried out to investigate the influence of APSIM SoilP parameters on the simulated P availability in soil and maize growth.Crop and soil P parameters were then derived by matching or relating the simulation results to observed crop biomass,yield,P uptake and Olsen-P in soil.The re-parameterized model was further validated against 2 years of independent data at the same sites.The re-parameterized model enabled good simulation of the maize leaf area index (LAI),biomass,grain yield,P uptake,and grain P content in response to different levels of P additions against both the calibration and validation datasets.Our results showed that APSIM needs to be re-parameterized for simulation of maize LAI dynamics through modification of leaf size curve and a reduction in the rate of leaf senescence for modern staygreen maize cultivars in China.The P concentration limits (maximum and minimum P concentrations in organs)at different stages also need to be adjusted.Our results further showed a curvilinear relationship between the measured Olsen-P concentration and simulated labile P content,which could facilitate the initialization of APSIM P pools in the NCP with Olsen-P measurements in future studies.It remains difficult to parameterize the APSIM SoilP module due to the conceptual nature of the pools and simplified conceptualization of key P transformation processes.A fundamental understanding still needs to be developed for modelling and predicting the fate of applied P fertilizers in soils with contrasting physical and chemical characteristics. | Weina Zhang Zhigan Zhao Di He Junhe Liu Haigang Li Enli Wang | 2024 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2024,23,3: | 0 |
| 19 | Bluetooth Low Energy Device Identification Based on Link Layer Broadcast Packet Fingerprinting显示文摘With the rapid development of the Internet of Things(IoT),wireless technology has become an indispensable part of modern computing platforms and embedded systems.Wireless device fingerprint identification is deemed as a promising solution towards enhancing the security of device access authentication and communication process in the IoT scenario.However,the extraction of features from the network layer and its upper layers often confront restrictions from specific devices:the association with a certain wireless network and the access to the plaintext of the payload.Meanwhile,Bluetooth Low Energy(BLE)packets have been encrypted above the link layer,which makes those features difficult to extract.To tackle these problems,we introduce a novel method to identify BLE devices based on the fingerprint features in the data link layer.Initially,the BLE packets are collected through a receiver based on software-defined radio technology.Then,fields that reflect device differences in BLE broadcast packets are extracted through traffic analysis.Finally,a MultiLayer Perceptron(MLP)model is employed to recognize the category of BLE devices.An experimental result on a dataset with 15 types of BLE devices shows that the identification accuracy of the proposed method can reach 99.8%,which accomplishes better performance over previous work. | Jinghui Zhang Xinyang Li Junhe Li Qiangsheng Dai Zhen Ling Ming Yang | 2023 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2023,28,5: | 0 |
| 20 | Dynamics and controls of ecosystem multiserviceability across the Qingzang Plateau显示文摘Ecosystem multiserviceability(EMS),a comprehensive and significant ecological indicator,reflects the capacity of ecosystems to offer multiple services concurrently.Intensified climate change and human activity are continu-ously altering ecosystem functions,services,and EMSs.However,numerous studies have only focused on one or a few ecosystem services,rarely taking into account spatial-temporal distribution and drivers of EMS on behalf of different agencies.We calculated EMS including pastoralist(PA),environmental protection agency(EPA),bio-diversity conservation agency(BCA),and climate change mitigation agency(CCMA)using grassland production,habitat quality,water conservation,and carbon sequestration.Then,the effects of geographical features,climate factors,and human activities on spatial-temporal patterns of EMS were explored.The result indicated that EMS showed a decreasing tendency from the southeast to northwest on the Qingzang Plateau(QZP).Meanwhile,there were no obvious fluctuations in four simulated scenarios(PA,EPA,BCA and CCMA)among different vegetation types during 2000 to 2015.Notably,EMS of all simulated scenarios decreased in the alpine steppe ecosystem,but negligible changes were found in other ecosystems from 2015 to 2020.Moreover,the relative importance of precipitation in annual mean value(from 2000 to 2020)of PA,EPA,BCA and CCMA were 0.13,0.11,0.30 and 0.19,respectively.Overall,precipitation played the dominant role on the dynamics of EMS,followed by elevation and human footprint.Our findings highlighted that understanding the patterns and drivers of EMS could provide a reference for the regional management and maintenance of ecosystem stability on QZP. | Ruowei Li Guodong Han Jian Sun Tiancai Zhou Junhe Chen Wen He Yi Wang | 2023 | Geography and Sustainability2023,4,4: | 0 |
