1Symmetry and tendency judgment of Ms≥8. 0 strong earthquakes in Chile显示文摘The Ms≥8. 0 strong earthquakes occurring in Chile since 1800 were analyzed using the ternary,quaternary,and quinary commensurability methods and the butterfly structure diagram,and it was believed that the earthquake signal in Chile in 2014 is relatively strong,a large earthquake is likely to occur in Chile in2014. An analysis of spatial epicenter migrations showed that the longitudinal and latitudinal epicenter migrations have symmetry and synchronism,and there were five obvious northward migrations and four southward migrations. The symmetry axis of the longitudinal migrations is at about 71. 7°W and that of the latitudinal migrations is at about 30°S; these spatial symmetry axes are located at the subduction zone on the western margin of South America,where two major plates( the Nazca Plate and the South American Plate) converge.Jin Junfang Yin Shuyan Yan Junping 2014Geodesy and Geodynamics2014,5,1:12

3Clinical impact and mechanisms of hepatitis B virus infection concurrent with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease显示文摘Chronic hepatitis B(CHB)virus infection is an important threat to global health despite the administration of vaccines and the use of antiviral treatments.In recent years,as the prevalence of obesity and metabolic syndrome has increased,non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)in patients with CHB has become more common.Both diseases can lead to liver fibrosis and even hepatocellular carcinoma,but the risk of dual etiology,outcome,and CHB combined with NAFLD is not fully elucidated.In this review,we assess the overlapping prevalence of NAFLD and CHB,summarize recent studies of clinical and basic research related to potential interactions,and evaluate the progressive changes of treatments for CHB patients with NAFLD.This review increases the understanding of the relationship and mechanisms of interaction between steatosis and hepatitis B virus infection,and it provides new strategies for the future clinical management and treatment of CHB combined with NAFLD.Xin Tong Yu Song Shengxia Yin Jian Wang Rui Huang Chao Wu Junping Shi Jie Li 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,14:4
4Proteins Associated with the Termination of Ocular Dominance Column Plasticity in Long Evans Rats显示文摘Purpose:To investigate the mechanism of the termination of ocular dominance column plasticity by electrophysiologic analysis and 2-dimensional electrophoresis-mass spectrography(2-DE/MS).Methods:The changes in ocular dominance columns following monocular deprivation were electrophysiologically detected in 22-day-old,100-day-old and chondroitinase-perfused 100-day-old rats.Total protein of grey matter of the primary visual cortex was extracted and studied by 2-DE/MS from the three groups of rats.Results:Monocular deprivation may lead to shifts in ocular dominance columns in 22-day-old and chondroitinase-perfused 100-day-old rats,but not in 100-day-old rats.Four protein spots present in grey matter of the primary visual cortex in 100-day-old,but not in that of 22-day-old and chondroitinase-perfused rats,and mass spectrography identified two of these proteins.Conclusions:The electrophysiologic results show that ocular dominance column plasticity presents in 22-day-old rats,ends up in 100-day-old rats and restored in chondroitinase-perfused 100-day-old rats.2-DE/MS results show that phosphatidylethanolamine binding protein and glial fibrillary acidic protein delta may be associated with the termination of ocular dominance column plasticity in the rat,but need more evidence to confirm it.Junping Yao Zhengqin Yin Shijun Wang 2007眼科学报2007,23,3:1

6Immune‑Ageing Evaluation of Peripheral T and NK Lymphocyte Subsets in Chinese Healthy Adults显示文摘Ageing is often accompanied with a decline in immune system function,resulting in immune ageing.Numerous studies have focussed on the changes in different lymphocyte subsets in diseases and immunosenescence.The change in immune phenotype is a key indication of the diseased or healthy status.However,the changes in lymphocyte number and phenotype brought about by ageing have not been comprehensively analysed.Here,we analysed T and natural killer(NK)cell subsets,the phenotype and cell differentiation states in 43,096 healthy individuals,aged 20–88 years,without known diseases.Thirty-six immune parameters were analysed and the reference ranges of these subsets were established in different age groups divided into 5-year intervals.The data were subjected to random forest machine learning for immune-ageing modelling and confirmed using the neural network analysis.Our initial analysis and machine modelling prediction showed that na.ve T cells decreased with ageing,whereas central memory T cells(Tcm)and effector memory T cells(Tem)increased cluster of differentiation(CD)28-associated T cells.This is the largest study to investigate the correlation between age and immune cell function in a Chinese population,and provides insightful differences,suggesting that healthy adults might be considerably influenced by age and sex.The age of a person's immune system might be different from their chronological age.Our immune-ageing modelling study is one of the largest studies to provide insights into‘immune-age’rather than‘biological-age’.Through machine learning,we identified immune factors influencing the most through ageing and built a model for immune-ageing prediction.Our research not only reveals the impact of age on immune parameter differences within the Chinese population,but also provides new insights for monitoring and preventing some diseases in clinical practice.Zhenghu Jia Zhiyao Ren Dongmei Ye Jiawei Li Yan Xu Hui Liu Ziyu Meng Chengmao Yang Xiaqi Chen Xinru Mao Xueli Luo Zhe Yang Lina Ma Anyi Deng Yafang Li Bingyu Han Junping Wei Chongcheng Huang Zheng Xiang Guobing Chen Peiling Li Juan Ouyang Peisong Chen Oscar Junhong Luo Yifang Gao Zhinan Yin 2023Phenomics2023,3,4:1
7Global Existence,Uniqueness and Pathwise Property of Solutions to a Stochastic Rssler-Lorentz System显示文摘The authors integrate two well-known systems, the Rssler and Lorentz systems,to introduce a new chaotic system, called the Lorentz-Rssler system. Then, taking into account the effect of environmental noise, the authors incorporate white noise in both Rssler and Lorentz systems to have a corresponding stochastic system. By deriving the uniform a priori estimates for an approximate system and then taking them to the limit,the authors prove the global existence, uniqueness and the pathwise property of solutions to the Lorentz-Rssler system. 8Optical control after transfection of channelrhodopsin-2 recombinant adenovirus in visual cortical cells显示文摘Channelrhodopsin-2 ectopically expressed in the retina can recover the response to blue light in genetically blind mice and rats,but is unable to restore visual function due to optic nerve or optic tract lesions.Long Evans rats at postnatal day 1 were used for primary culture of visual cortical cells,and 24 hours later,cells were transfected with recombinant adenovirus carrying channelrhodopsin-2 and green fluorescent protein genes.After 2-4 days of transfection,green fluorescence was visible in the cultured cells.Cells were stimulated with blue light(470 nm),and light-induced action potentials were recorded in patch-clamp experiments.Our findings indicate that channelrhodopsin-2-recombinant adenovirus transfection of primary cultured visual cortical cells can control the production of action potentials via blue light stimulation.Junping Yao Wensheng Hou Hao Wang Hui Liu Chuanhuang Weng Zhengqin Yin 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,16:0
9End-to-End Paired Ambisonic-Binaural Audio Rendering显示文摘Binaural rendering is of great interest to virtual reality and immersive media. Although humans can naturally use their two ears to perceive the spatial information contained in sounds, it is a challenging task for machines to achieve binaural rendering since the description of a sound field often requires multiple channels and even the metadata of the sound sources. In addition, the perceived sound varies from person to person even in the same sound field. Previous methods generally rely on individual-dependent head-related transferred function(HRTF)datasets and optimization algorithms that act on HRTFs. In practical applications, there are two major drawbacks to existing methods. The first is a high personalization cost, as traditional methods achieve personalized needs by measuring HRTFs. The second is insufficient accuracy because the optimization goal of traditional methods is to retain another part of information that is more important in perception at the cost of discarding a part of the information. Therefore, it is desirable to develop novel techniques to achieve personalization and accuracy at a low cost. To this end, we focus on the binaural rendering of ambisonic and propose 1) channel-shared encoder and channel-compared attention integrated into neural networks and 2) a loss function quantifying interaural level differences to deal with spatial information. To verify the proposed method, we collect and release the first paired ambisonic-binaural dataset and introduce three metrics to evaluate the content information and spatial information accuracy of the end-to-end methods. 10A blockchain-based audit approach for encrypted data in federated learning显示文摘The development of data-driven artificial intelligence technology has given birth to a variety of big data applications.Data has become an essential factor to improve these applications.Federated learning,a privacy-preserving machine learning method,is proposed to leverage data from different data owners.It is typically used in conjunction with cryptographic methods,in which data owners train the global model by sharing encrypted model updates.However,data encryption makes it difficult to identify the quality of these model updates.Malicious data owners may launch attacks such as data poisoning and free-riding.To defend against such attacks,it is necessary to find an approach to audit encrypted model updates.In this paper,we propose a blockchain-based audit approach for encrypted gradients.It uses a behavior chain to record the encrypted gradients from data owners,and an audit chain to evaluate the gradients’quality.Specifically,we propose a privacy-preserving homomorphic noise mechanism in which the noise of each gradient sums to zero after aggregation,ensuring the availability of aggregated gradient.In addition,we design a joint audit algorithm that can locate malicious data owners without decrypting individual gradients.Through security analysis and experimental evaluation,we demonstrate that our approach can defend against malicious gradient attacks in federated learning.Zhe Sun Junping Wan Lihua Yin Zhiqiang Cao Tianjie Luo Bin Wang 2022Digital Communications and Networks2022,8,5:0
