| 1 | Prognostic nutritional index is an independent prognostic factor for gastric cancer patients with peritoneal dissemination显示文摘Objective: The predictive and prognostic role of prognostic nutritional index(PNI) in gastric cancer patients with peritoneal dissemination remains unclear. This study aims to explore the role of the PNI in predicting outcomes of gastric cancer patients with peritoneal dissemination.Methods: A total of 660 patients diagnosed with gastric adenocarcinoma with peritoneal metastasis between January 2000 and April 2014 at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center and the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yatsen University were retrospectively analyzed. The clinicopathologic characteristics and clinical outcomes of patients with peritoneal dissemination were analyzed.Results: Compared with PNI-high group, PNI-low group was correlated with advanced age(P=0.036), worse performance status(P<0.001), higher frequency of ascites(P<0.001) and higher frequency of multisite distant metastasis(P<0.001). Kaplan-Meier survival curves showed that PNI-high group had a significantly longer median overall survival than PNI-low group(13.13 vs. 9.03 months, P<0.001). Multivariate survival analysis revealed that Borrmann type IV(P=0.014), presence of ascites(P=0.017) and lower PNI(P=0.041) were independent poor prognostic factors, and palliative surgery(P<0.001) and first-line chemotherapy(P<0.001) were good prognostic factors. For patients receiving palliative surgery, the postoperative morbidity rates in the PNI-low group and PNIhigh group were 9.1% and 9.9%, respectively(P=0.797). | 2 | Impacts of climate change on ecosystem in Priority Areas of Biodiversity Conservation in China显示文摘Priority Areas of Biodiversity Conservation(PABCs) are the key areas for future biodiversity conservation in China. In this study, we used 5 dynamic global vegetation models(DGVMs) to simulate the ecosystem function changes under future climate change scenario in the 32 terrestrial PABCs. We selected vegetation coverage,vegetation productivity, and ecosystem carbon balance as the indicators to describe the ecosystem function changes.The results indicate that woody vegetation coverage will greatly increase in the Loess Plateau Region, the North China Plain, and the Lower Hilly Region of South China.The future climate change will have great impact on the original vegetation in alpine meadow and arid and semiarid regions. The vegetation productivity of most PABCs will enhance in the coming 100 years. The largest increment will take place in the southwestern regions with high elevation. The PABCs in the Desert Region of InnerMongolia-Xinjiang Plateau are with fastest productivity climbing, and these areas are also with more carbon sink accumulation in the future. DGVM will be a new efficient tool for evaluating ecosystem function changes in future in large scale. | 3 | Red organic light emitting device with improved performance using a novel fluorescent dye codoped with phosphor-sensitizer显示文摘Efficient red organic light-emitting device consisted of a compound fluorescent-phosphor-sensitized emission layer was fabricated. A novel red fluorescent dye, 3-(dicyanomethylene)-5,5-dimethyl-1-(4-dimethylamino-styryl) cyclohexene (DCDDC), and a green phosphorescent dye, fac tris(2-phenylpyridine) iridium [Ir(ppy)3] were codoped into a host material 4,4'-N,N'-dicarbazolebiphe-nyl (CBP). By adjusting the component ratio of doping system, a series of devices with different concentration proportion of Ir(ppy)3:DCDDC were constructed. The results demonstrated that the device with 0.2 wt% DCDDC had a maximum power effi-ciency (ηp) of 2.12 lm/W at a current density of 0.1 mA/cm2, which was about 38% higher than that of conventional fluorescent device. When at a current density of 4 mA/cm2 (100 cd/m2) and 52 mA/cm2 (1000 cd/m2), the ηp percentage was about 160% and 143% higher than that of conventional device, respectively. A stable red light emission at a peak of 615 nm with Commissions Internationale de l'Eclairage coordinates near the region of (0.56, 0.42) in a wide bias range was also obtained. | 20 | Facile synthesis of defect-rich Fe-N-C hybrid from fullerene/ferrotetraphenylporphyrin as efficient oxygen reduction electrocatalyst for Zn-air battery显示文摘Exploring remarkable oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)electrocatalysts for regenerative fuel cells and metal-air batteries is highly essential.Herein,a novel non-noble metal-based heterogeneous electrocatalyst with rich defects were successfully synthesized by liquid-liquid interfacial precipitation(LLIP)of fullerene(C_(60))and ferrotetraphenylporphyrin(FeTPP)followed by one step pyrolysis.The obtained product annealed at 700℃(C_(60)/FeTPP-700),when employed as ORR electrocatalyst,revealed a positive halfwave potential(E_(1/2))of 0.877 V vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE),which was superior to that of the commercial 25%Pt/C.Delightfully,the assembled Zn-air battery(ZAB)using C_(60)/FeTPP-700 as an air-electrode catalyst exhibited a high power density of 153 m W/cm^(2),specific capacity of 668 mAh/g and long-term cycling stability for more than 250 h.Experimental results proved that the excellent electrocatalytic ORR activity of C_(60)/FeTPP-700 would attribute to the synergistic effect between FeN_xsites,Fe_(3)C/Fe nanoparticles and the structure defects.This work provides a feasible and simple method to prepare nonnoble metal-based ORR electrocatalysts for the application of energy storage and conversion. | Hai Wang Liyun Cao Yongqiang Feng Junsheng Chen Weihang Feng Tianmi Luo Yuzhu Hu Chengke Yuan Yajuan Zhao Yong Zhao Koji Kajiyoshi Yijun Liu Zhenjiang Li Jianfeng Huang | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,5: | 0 |
