| 1 | Tunable Syngas Synthesis from Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction Under Visible-Light Irradiation by Interfacial Engineering显示文摘Visible-light-driven CO2 photoreduction to achieve renewable materials,such as syngas,hydrocarbons,and alcohols,is a key process that could relieve environmental problems and the energy crisis simultaneously.Reduction of syngas products with diff erent H2:CO proportions is highly expected to produce high value-added chemicals in the industry.However,the development of technologies employing long-wavelength irradiation to achieve CO2 photoreduction and simultaneous tuning of the resultant H2:CO proportion remains a challenging endeavor.In this work,we carried out interfacial engineering by designing a series of heterostructured layered double-hydroxide/MoS2 nanocomposites via electrostatic self-assembly.The syngas proportion(H 2:CO)obtained from CO2 photoreduction could be modulated from 1:1 to 9:1 by visible-light irradiation(λ>400 nm)under the control of the interface-rich heterostructures.This work provides a cost-eff ective strategy for solar-tofuel conversion in an artificial photosynthetic system and describes a novel route to produce syngas with targeted proportions. | Conghui Qiu Sha Bai Wenjing Cao Ling Tan Junyan Liu Yufei Zhao Yu-Fei Song | 2020 | Transactions of Tianjin University2020,26,5: | 6 |
| 2 | Mutation of the PHYTOENE DESATURASE 3 gene causes yellowish-white petals in Brassica napus显示文摘Oilseed rape (Brassica napus) with yellow flowers is an attractive ornamental landscape plant during the flowering period,and the development of different petal colors has become a breeding objective.Although yellowish flower color is a common variant observed in field-grown oilseed rape,the genetics behind this variation remains unclear.We obtained a yellowish-white flower (ywf) mutant from Zhongshuang 9 (ZS9) by ethyl methanesulfonate mutagenesis (EMS) treatment.Compared with ZS9,ywf exhibited a lower carotenoid content with a reduced and defective chromoplast ultrastructure in the petals.Genetic analysis revealed that the yellowish-white trait was controlled by a single recessive gene.Using bulked-segregant analysis sequencing (BSA-seq) and kompetitive allele-specific PCR(KASP),we performed map-based cloning of the ywf locus on chromosome A08 and found that ywf harbored a C-to-T substitution in the coding region,resulting in a premature translation termination.YWF,encoding phytoene desaturase 3 (PDS3),was highly expressed in oilseed rape petals and involved in carotenoid biosynthesis.Pathway enrichment analysis of the transcriptome profiles from ZS9 and ywf indicated the carotenoid biosynthesis pathway to be highly enriched.Further analyses of differentially expressed genes and carotenoid components revealed that the truncated Bna A08.PDS3 resulted in decreased carotenoid biosynthesis in the mutant.These results contribute to an understanding of the carotenoid biosynthesis pathway and manipulation of flower-color variation in B.napus. | Chuanji Zhao Luqman Bin Safdar Meili Xie Meijuan Shi Zhixue Dong Li Yang Xiaohui Cheng Yueying Liu Zetao Bai Yang Xiang Chaobo Tong Junyan Huang Lijiang Liu Shengyi Liu | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,5: | 3 |

| 4 | Adhesion and friction performance of DLC/rubber:The influence of plasma pretreatment显示文摘Diamond-like carbon(DLC)films are deposited on rubber surfaces to protect the rubber components,and surface pretreatment of the rubber substrates prior to the film deposition can improve the adhesion between the DLC films and the rubber.Thus,the principal purpose of this work concentrates on determining the effects of argon(Ar),oxygen(O_(2)),nitrogen(N_(2)),and hydrogen(H_(2))plasma pretreatments on the adhesion and friction performance of the DLC films deposited on rubber(DLC/rubber).The results indicated that the Ar plasma pretreatment promoted the formation of a compact layer on the rubber surface.By contrast,massive fillers were exposed on the rubber surface after oxygen or nitrogen plasma pretreatments.Moreover,the typical micrometer-scale patches divided by random cracks were observed on the surface of DLC/rubber,except for the sample pretreated with oxygen plasma.The adhesion of DLC/rubber was found to strengthen with the removal of weak boundary layers and the generation of free radicals on the rubber surface after plasma pretreatment.The tribo-tests revealed that DLC/rubber with O_(2),N_(2),and H_(2) plasma pretreatments cannot achieve optimal friction performance.Significantly,DLC/rubber with Ar plasma pretreatment exhibited a low and stable friction coefficient of 0.19 and superior wear resistance,which was correlated to the high adhesion,good load-bearing of the rubber surface,and the approximate sine function of the surface profile of the DLC film. | Changning BAI Zhenbin GONG Lulu AN Li QIANG Junyan ZHANG Georgy YUSHKOV Alexey NIKOLAEV Maxim SHANDRIKOV Bin ZHANG | 2021 | Friction2021,9,3: | 2 |

| 9 | Optimizing the tribological performance of DLC-coated NBR rubber:The role of hydrogen in films显示文摘Diamond-like carbon(DLC)films directly deposited on rubber substrate is undoubtedly one optimal option to improve the tribological properties due to its ultralow friction,high-hardness as well as good chemical compatibility with rubber.Investigating the relationship between film structure and tribological performance is vital for protecting rubber.In this study it was demonstrated that the etching effect induced by hydrogen incorporation played positive roles in reducing surface roughness of DLC films.In addition,the water contact angle(CA)of DLC-coated nitrile butadiene rubber(NBR)was sensitive to the surface energy and sp?carbon clustering of DLC films.Most importantly,the optimum tribological performance was obtained at the 29 at%H-containing DLC film coated on NBR,which mainly depended on the following key factors:(1)the DLC film with appropriate roughness matched the counterpart surface;(2)the contact area and surface energy controlled interface adhesive force;(3)the microstructure of DLC films impacted load-bearing capacity;and(4)the generation of graphitic phase acted as a solid lubricant.This understanding may draw inspiration for the fabrication of DLC films on rubber to achieve low friction coefficient. | Changning BAI Li QIANG Bin ZHANG Kaixiong GAO Junyan ZHANG | 2022 | Friction2022,10,6: | 0 |
