| 1 | Encapsulating segment-like antimony nanorod in hollow carbon tube as long-lifespan,high-rate anodes for rechargeable K-ion batteries显示文摘K-ion battery (KIB) is a new-type energy storage device that possesses potential advantages of low-cost and abundant resource of potassium.To develop advanced electrode materials for accommodating the large size and high activity of potassium ion is of great interests.Herein,a segment-like antimony (Sb) nanorod encapsulated in hollow carbon tube electrode material (Sb@HCT) was prepared.Beneficial from the virtue of abundant nitrogen doping in carbon tube,one-dimensional and hollow structure advantages,Sb@HCT exhibits excellent potassium storage properties:in the case of potassium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide (KFSI) electrolyte,Sb@HCT displays a reversible capacity of up to 453.4 mAh·g^-1 at a current density of 0.5 A·g^-1 and good rate performance (a capacity of 211.5 mAh·g^-1 could be achieved at an ultrahigh rate of 5 A·g^-1).Additionally,Sb@HCT demonstrates excellent long-cycle stability at a current density of 2 A·g^-1 over 120 cycles.Meanwhile,electrolyte optimization is an effective strategy for greatly improving electrochemical performance.Through ex-situ characterizations,we disclosed the potassiation of Sb anode is quite reversible and undergoes multistep processes,combining solid solution reaction and two-phase reaction. | Wen Luo Feng Li Weiran Zhang Kang Han Jean-Jacques Gaumet Hans-Eckhardt Schaefer Liqiang Mai | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,5: | 18 |
| 2 | An efficient rendering method for large vector data on large terrain models显示文摘This paper presents an efficient way to render large-scale vector maps on level-of-detail(LOD) digital elevation models(DEMs).By using the frame buffer and Voronoi diagram,we achieve a rapid simplification of large-scale vector maps while keeping their original topological relationships.With the simplified maps,we establish level-of-detail vector map models.In the detailed level,we use the stencil shadow volume approach to render the map accurately,and in the coarse level we use substitute techniques to render the map approximately yet more quickly.The method proposed in this paper is universally applicable to rendering vector maps on various LOD terrain models,and the overlaying performance is independent of the complexity of underlying terrain surfaces.By use of the view frustum culling and sub-region index techniques,the impact of complexity of vector maps is reduced,and the rendering time is restricted to a certain scope.Thereby,we can achieve seamless and rapid rendering of large-scale vector maps on LOD terrain surfaces. | YANG Ling ZHANG LiQiang KANG ZhiZhong XIAO ZhiQiang PENG JunHuan ZHANG XingMing LIU Liu | 2010 | Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,6: | 11 |
| 3 | Cogitation on developing a dynamic model of soil wind erosion显示文摘Studies on soil wind erosion began with single factors affecting soil wind erosion; with increasing quantities of data being accumulated,the wind erosion equation(WEQ),the revised wind erosion equation(RWEQ),the wind erosion prediction system(WEPS),and other soil wind erosion models have been successively established,and great advances have been achieved.Here we briefly review the soil wind erosion research course and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the current soil wind erosion models.From the perspective of the dynamics of wind erosion,we classified the factors affecting soil wind erosion into three categories,namely,wind erosivity factors(WEF),soil antierodibility factors(SAF),and roughness interference factors(RIF).We proposed the concept of a standard plot of soil wind erosion to solve the problem of uncertainty of the soil wind erosion modulus on a spatial scale,and provided methods to set similarity conditions in wind tunnel simulation experiments and to convert the spatial scale of the wind erosion modulus from the standard plot to a large scale field.We also proposed a conceptual model on the basis of the dynamics of soil wind erosion with the theoretical basis that wind produces a shear force on the soil surface.This shear force is partitioned by barely erodible soil surfaces and roughness elements on the ground,and the amount of soil loss by wind should be calculated by comparing the shear force of the wind on barely erodible soil surfaces with the anti-erosion force of the surface soil.One advantage of this conceptual model is that the calculated soil wind erosion modulus is not subject to changes of spatial scale.Finally,we recommended continual improvement of the existing models while also establishing new models. | ZOU XueYong ZHANG ChunLai CHENG Hong KANG LiQiang WU YongQiu | 2015 | Science China Earth Sciences2015,58,3: | 9 |
| 4 | A methodology for 3D modeling and visualization of geological objects显示文摘Geological body structure is the product of the geological evolution in the time dimension, which is presented in 3D configuration in the natural world. However, many geologists still record and process their geological data using the 2D or 1D pattern, which results in the loss of a large quantity of spatial data. One of the reasons is that the current methods have limitations on how to express underground geological objects. To analyze and interpret geological models, we present a layer data model to organize different kinds of geological datasets. The data model implemented the unification expression and storage of geological data and geometric models. In addition, it is a method for visualizing large-scaled geological datasets through building multi-resolution geological models rapidly, which can meet the demand of the operation, analysis, and interpretation of 3D geological objects. | 5 | Genetic diversity,population structure,and relationships of apricot(Prunus)based on restriction site-associated DNA sequencing显示文摘Single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)are the most abundant form of genomic polymorphisms and are widely used in population genetics research.Here,high-throughput sequencing was used to examine the genome-level diversity,population structure,and relationships of apricot,which are important for germplasm conservation and molecular breeding.Restriction site-associated DNA sequencing(RAD-seq)was adopted to sequence 168 Prunus spp.accessions distributed in five ecological groups,including 74 accessions of cultivated Prunus armeniaca L.and 94 accessions of wild apricots(P.armeniaca L.and Prunus sibirica L.),which generated 417,961 high-quality SNPs.We used cluster,genetic structure,and principal component analyses to examine the genetic diversities and genetic relationships of the 168 accessions.The Dzhungar-Ili ecological group accessions showed the highest genetic diversity in terms of private allele number,observed heterozygosity,and nucleotide diversity.We speculate that the Central Asian ecological group accessions were domesticated from the Dzhungar-Ili ecological group accessions.The population structure and gene flow of the North China and European ecological group accessions suggested a genetic background of P.sibirica.We argue that the two groups should be considered hybrid swarms connected to P.sibirica by continuous and extensive gene flow.P.armeniaca originated in Northwest China(Ili Valley),subsequently spread throughout Central Asia,and eventually spread to Europe.In addition,selective sweep signatures in P.armeniaca during domestication from wild to cultivated apricots,combined with differentially expressed genes,underlie distinct fruit traits,including sugars,aromas,organic acids,and carotenoids.This study provides substantive and valuable genomic resources that will significantly advance apricot improvement and effective utilization. | Wenwen Li Liqiang Liu Yanan Wang Qiuping Zhang Guoquan Fan Shikui Zhang Yatong Wang Kang Liao | 2020 | Horticulture Research2020,7,1: | 9 |

In order to transmit the data to the client efficiently,this paper proposes a node-layer data model to manage the 3D scene. Because the large spatial data and limited network bandwidth are the main bottlenecks of web-based 3DGIS,a client/server architecture including progressive transmission methods and multiresolution representations,together with the spatial index,are developed to improve the performance. All this makes the application quite scalable. | 7 | Experimental investigation of particle velocity distributions in windblown sand movement显示文摘With the PDPA(Phase Doppler Particle Analyzer) measurement technology,the probability distributions of particle impact and lift-off velocities on bed surface and the particle velocity distributions at different heights are detected in a wind tunnel. The results show that the probability distribution of impact and lift-off velocities of sand grains can be expressed by a log-normal function,and that of impact and lift-off angles complies with an exponential function. The mean impact angle is between 28° and 39°,and the mean lift-off angle ranges from 30° to 44°. The mean lift-off velocity is 0.81-0.9 times the mean impact velocity. The proportion of backward-impacting particles is 0.05-0.11,and that of backward-entrained particles ranges from 0.04 to 0.13. The probability distribution of particle horizontal velocity at 4 mm height is positive skew,the horizontal velocity of particles at 20 mm height varies widely,and the variation of the particle horizontal velocity at 80 mm height is less than that at 20 mm height. | 8 | Addition of rituximab is not associated with survival benefit compared with CHOP alone for patients with stage I diffuse large B-cell lymphoma显示文摘Background:The role of rituximab in combination with CHOP regimen in patients with stage I diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL) remains to be defined.We aimed to compare CHOP plus rituximab(R-CHOP) with CHOP alone and determine the value of radiotherapy in these patients.Methods:Between 2003 and 2009,140 untreated patients with stage I DLBCL were retrospectively analyzed in this study.Results:Seventy-eight patients were treated in R-CHOP group and 62 in CHOP group.Ninety-one patients received additional radiotherapy at the end of chemotherapy.The different treatment groups were well-balanced with respect to baseline characteristics.Complete response(CR) rate was 77% both in R-CHOP and CHOP groups(P=0.945).After a median follow-up period of 56 months,patients received R-CHOP regimen had similar 5-year progression-free survival(PFS)(76%vs.85%;log-rank P=0.215)and 5-year overall survival(OS)(90%vs.96%;log-rank P=0.175) compared with those with CHOP alone.Patients with radiotherapy had significantly increased 5-year PFS compared with those who had chemotherapy alone(86%vs.71%;log-rank P=0.005).At multivariate analysis,patients who had CR(P=0.008) and received radiotherapy(P=0.003) were significantly associated with superior PFS.Conclusions:CHOP alone could be as effective as R-CHOP regimen and additional radiotherapy would be necessary for stage I or stage I non-bulky DLBCL patients. | Bo Jia Yuankai Shi Suyi Kang Sheng Yang Shaoxuan Hu Yexiong Li Mei Dong Weihu Wang Jianliang Yang Liqiang Zhou Peng Liu Shengyu Zhou Yan Qin Lin Gui Changgong Zhang Hua Lin Shanshan Chen Lin Wang Xiaohui He | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2015,27,5: | 2 |

| 10 | Application of a new wind driving force model in soil wind erosion area of northern China显示文摘The shear stress generated by the wind on the land surface is the driving force that results in the wind erosion of the soil.It is an independent factor influencing soil wind erosion.The factors related to wind erosivity,known as submodels,mainly include the weather factor(WF)in revised wind erosion equation(RWEQ),the erosion submodel(ES)in wind erosion prediction system(WEPS),as well as the drift potential(DP)in wind energy environmental assessment.However,the essential factors of WF and ES contain wind,soil characteristics and surface coverings,which therefore results in the interdependence between WF or ES and other factors(e.g.,soil erodible factor)in soil erosion models.Considering that DP is a relative indicator of the wind energy environment and does not have the value of expressing wind to induce shear stress on the surface.Therefore,a new factor is needed to express accurately wind erosivity.Based on the theoretical basis that the soil loss by wind erosion(Q)is proportional to the shear stress of the wind on the soil surface,a new model of wind driving force(WDF)was established,which expresses the potential capacity of wind to drive soil mass in per unit area and a period of time.Through the calculations in the typical area,the WDF,WF and DP are compared and analyzed from the theoretical basis,construction goal,problem-solving ability and typical area application;the spatial distribution of soil wind erosion intensity was concurrently compared with the spatial distributions of the WDF,WF and DP values in the typical area.The results indicate that the WDF is better to reflect the potential capacity of wind erosivity than WF and DP,and that the WDF model is a good model with universal applicability and can be logically incorporated into the soil wind erosion models. | ZOU Xueyong LI Huiru LIU Wei WANG Jingpu CHENG Hong WU Xiaoxu ZHANG Chunlai KANG Liqiang | 2020 | Journal of Arid Land2020,12,3: | 2 |
