1Activated pyrolysed bacterial cellulose as electrodes for supercapacitors显示文摘In this paper, the bacterial celluloses(BCs) were pyrolysed in nitrogen and then activated by KOH to form a porous three- dimension-network electrode material for supercapacitor applications. Activated pyrolysed bacterial cellulose(APBC) samples with enlarged specific surface area and enhanced specific capacitances were obtained. In order to optimize electrochemical properties, APBC samples with different alkali-to-carbon ratios of 1, 2 and 3 were tested in two electrodes symmetrical capacitors. The optimized APBC sample holds the highest specific capacitance of 241.8 F/g, and the energy density of which is 5 times higher than that of PBC even at a current density of 5 A/g. 2KOH-assisted aqueous synthesis of bimetallic metal-organic frameworks and their derived selenide composites for efficient lithium storage显示文摘To solve low efficiency,environmental pollution,and toxicity for synthesizing zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(ZIFs)in organic solvents,a KOH-assisted aqueous strategy is proposed to synthesize bimetallic ZIFs polyhedrons,which are used as precursors to prepare bimetallic selenide and N-doped carbon(NC)composites.Among them,Fe–Co–Se/NC retains the three-dimensional(3D)polyhedrons with mesoporous structure,and Fe–Co–Se nanoparticles are uniform in size and evenly distributed.When assessed as anode material for lithium-ion batteries,Fe–Co–Se/NC achieves an excellent initial specific capacity of 1165.9 m Ah·g^(-1)at 1.0 A·g^(-1),and the reversible capacity of Fe–Co–Se/NC anode is 1247.4 m Ah·g^(-1)after 550 cycles.It is attributed to that the uniform composite of bimetallic selenides and N-doped carbon can effectively tune redox active sites,the stable 3D structure of Fe–Co–Se/NCs guarantees the structural stability and wettability of the electrolyte,and the uniform distribution of Fe–Co–S nanoparticles in size esuppresses the volume expansion and accelerates the electrochemical reaction kinetics.Shuya Zhang Yanchun Xue Yutang Zhang Chengxing Zhu Xingmei Guo Fu Cao Xiangjun Zheng Qinghong Kong Junhao Zhang Tongxiang Fan 2023International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,4:2

10Purification of four strains of endophytic fungi from Astragalus and their optimized liquid fermentations显示文摘This study was designed to isolate endophytic fungi from A. mongholicus(growing in northeast China) to determine whether they can produce bioactive metabolites. Four strains of endophytic fungi(strains 16, 17, 23 and 75) were successfully isolated from A. mongholicus using the surface disinfection method. According to ITS-rDNA sequences analysis, strains 16 and 75 were identified as Fusarium oxysporum, and strains 17 and 23 were identified as Bionectria ochroleuca. We applied the Box-Behnken design(BBD) to optimize the liquid fermentation conditions and obtain the maximum cell dry weight(CDW) yield. Optimal parameters were obtained under the following experimental conditions: temperature of 28°C, potato dextrose agar(PDA) liquid medium of 80 mL and rotation speed of 150 rpm. The four isolated endophytic fungi did not produce astragalosides I–IV, flavonoids or polysaccharides. 11KOH-assisted aqueous synthesis of ZIF-67 with high-yield and its derived cobalt selenide/carbon composites for high-performance Li-ion batteries显示文摘To solve the environmental pollution and low yield during the sythesis of zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(ZIFs)and their derived materials,a KOH-assisted aqueous strategy is proposed to synthesize cobalt zeolitic imidazolate framework(ZIF-67)polyhedrons,which are used as precursors to prepare cobalt selenide/carbon composites with different crystal phases(Co_(0.85)Se,CoSe_2).When evaluated as anode material for lithium ion batteries,Co_(0.85)Se/C composites deliver a reversible capacity of 758.7 m A·h·g^(-1)with a capacity retention rate of 90.5%at 1.0 A·g^(-1)after 500 cycles,and the superior rate capability is 620 m A·h·g^(-1)at 2.0 A·g^(-1).The addition of KOH accelerates the production of ZIF-67 crystals by boosting deprotonation of dimethylimidazole,resulting in rapid growth and structures transition from two-dimensional to three-dimensional of ZIF-67 in aqueous solution,which greatly promotes the application of MOFs in the field of energy storage and conversion.Kai Xue Yanchun Xue Jing Wang Shuya Zhang Xingmei Guo Xiangjun Zheng Fu Cao Qinghong Kong Junhao Zhang Zhong Jin 2023Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,57,5:0

13Fabricating titanium dioxide/N-doped carbon nanofibers as advanced interlayer for improving cycling reversibility of lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘'Shuttle effect' is detrimental for maintaining the high capacity and cycling reversibility of lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs).To inhibit polysulfide migration,N-doped carbon nanofibers(N-CNFs) membrane comprising TiO_(2)nanoparticles(TiO_(2)/N-CNFs) is fabricated using an electrospinning-calcination method and further applied as interlayer in LSBs.The TiO_(2)/N-CNFs interlayer helps the battery to deliver a high specific capacity of 1155.2 mA·h·g^(-1)at 0.2 C with high Coulombic efficiency,good rate capability and stability.When cycling at 0.5 C,a capacity retention rate of 62.4% is achieved over 300 cycles,which is higher than that of CNFs and TiO_(2)/CNFs counterparts.The excellent performance should mainly be attributed to the alleviated 'shuttle effect' deriving from high polysulfide trapping ability of TiO_(2)nanoparticles and N heteroatoms in interwoven CNFs.Xingmei Guo Jinfeng Xie Jing Wang Shangqing Sun Feng Zhang Fu Cao Yuanjun Liu Xiangjun Zheng Junhao Zhang Qinghong Kong 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,,12:0
14Harnessing perennial and indeterminant growth habits for ratoon cotton(Gossypium spp.)cropping显示文摘Ratoon is the stub or root of a perennial plant that is commonly retained after harvest to produce a following crop.This paper presents a review of ratoon cotton in relation to a broader framework that has been examining perennialization of agriculture for the benefit of ecology and economy.Cotton is botanically indeterminate,but has been treated as an annual after domestication,yet the habit of perenniality is retained and the plants begin to resprout after the first harvest.In some cropping systems,this tendency is exploited using the“ratooning”practice(i.e.growing one or more crops on the rootstock of the first).Ratooning has declined for various reasons such as an increase in the prevalence of pests and diseases and overwintering risk.However,ratooning has many benefits such as no annual tillage before sowing,a well-established root system,and high yield.The three methods of ratooning offer flexibility to balance the environmental and economic benefits in agriculture.The greatest environmental benefits arise from perennial ratoon cropping of semi-wild cotton,and the greatest economic benefit is obtained from biannually cropping modern annual cultivars.However,an optimum solution would be provided by perennial cropping annual cultivars.To realize both environmental and economic benefits,research is needed in the following main areas:preventing the buildup of pests and diseases,breeding the most suitable cotton cultivars for ratooning,and developing light and simplified cultivation(LSC)systems for ratoon cultivation.Xin Zhang Xiangjun Kong Ruiyang Zhou Zhiyong Zhang Jinbao Zhang Linsong Wang Qinglian Wang 2020Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2020,6,1:0
15Double Difference Location of the Mainshock and Aftershocks of the Hutubi MS6.2 Earthquake That Occurred on December 8,2016显示文摘The mainshock and aftershocks of the Hutubi M_S6.2 earthquake on December 8,2016 were relocated by applying the double difference method, and we relocated 477 earthquakes in the Hutubi region. The earthquake relocation results show that the aftershocks are distributed in the east-west direction towards the north side of the southern margin of the Junggar Basin fault,and are mainly distributed in the western region of the mainshock. The distance between the mainshock after relocation and the southern margin of the Junggar Basin fault is obviously shortened. Combined with the focal mechanism and the spatial distribution of the mainshock and aftershocks,it is inferred that the southern margin of the Junggar Basin fault is the main seismogenic structure of the Hutubi earthquake.Kong Xiangyan Chen Xiangjun 2018Earthquake Research in China2018,32,2:0
