1Effect of coating modification of cordierite carrier on catalytic performance of supported NiMnO_3 catalysts for VOCs combustion显示文摘NiMnO_3 perovskite catalysts supported on cordierite modified by Ce_xZr_(1-x)O_2 coatings were prepared using impregnation and sol-gel methods for catalytic combustion of single/double component VOCs at different concentrations and GHSV of 15,000 h^(-1), which were characterized by BET, XRD, SEM, FT-IR, H_2-TPR and O_2-TPD. After coating modification, the specific surface area of catalysts is improved obviously.Among the catalysts, the Ce_(0.75)Zr_(0.25)O_2 coating modified NiMnO_3 catalyst exhibits the best catalytic activity for VOCs combustion with 95.6% conversion at 275 ℃ and has stable activity when catalyst is embalmed at 800 ℃. In addition, the catalyst also presents the excellent water-resistant and conversion stability over time-on-stream condition. 2MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING CHARACTERISTICS AND SURGICAL RESULTS OF ADRENOCORTICOTROPIN-SECRETING PITUITARY ADENOMAS显示文摘Objective To evaluate magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)characteristics and surgical results of adrenocorticotropin(ACTH)-secreting pituitary adenomas.Methods MRI characteristics and relationship between MRI positive rate and surgical results of 266 patients with pathologically confirmed Cushing's disease were analyzed retrospectively.All patients underwent thin-section sagittal and coronal scans of the pituitary gland before and after administration of gadolinium-diethylene triamine pentaacetic acid(Gd-DTPA)on a 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner,and dynamic enhanced MRI was performed in 39 patients.All patients underwent transsphenoidal adenomectomy.Endocrinological examinations and assessments were performed.Results Preoperative MRI revealed normal results in 41(15.4%)cases,microadenoma in 179(67.3%),macroadenoma in 42(15.8%),and huge adenoma in 4(1.5%).Pituitary apoplexy was found in 13(4.9%)cases.Positive rate of ACTH-secreting adenomas was 84.6%(225/266)on MRI scans,and that of small microadenomas was 87.2%(34/39)on dynamic enhanced MRI scans.Preoperative endocrinological tests of 199 cases supported the diagnosis of typical Cushing's disease,while the other 67 cases had atypical endocrinological results.The endocrinological cure rate,remission rate,and inefficacy rate were 85.7%,7.9%,and 6.4%,respectively.There was no difference in the initial endocrinological cure rate between the patients with positive and normal MRI results(90% vs.87.8%,P=0.904).Conclusions Enhanced coronal pituitary MRI is helpful for preoperative localization of ACTH-secreting pituitary microadenoma.Dynamic enhanced MRI may improve detection rate of microadenoma.There is no marked difference in the surgical results for patients with preoperative MRI results indicating presence or absence of microadenoma.Bing Xing Kan Deng Zu-yuan Ren Chang-bao Su Ren-zhi Wang Yi Yang Wen-bin Ma Yong-ning Li 2008Chinese Medical Sciences Journal2008,23,1:9

5External fixation is more suitable for intra-articular fractures of the distal radius in elderly patients显示文摘The purpose of this study was to compare the functional outcomes,psychological impact,and complication rates associated with external fixation and volar or dorsal plating in relation to the functional parameters following treatment of intra-articular fractures of the distal radius(IFDR) in patients older than 65 years.We hypothesized that using volar or dorsal plating would improve functional outcomes,but that it would be associated with more complications and equivalent functional outcomes when compared with the external fixation group.A total of 123 consecutive patients suffering from IFDR were recruited into the study.The patients were measured for clinical,radiological,and psychosocial functioning outcomes and were followed up after 1 week and 3,6 and 12 months.After 3 months,the plating group had better pronation(P=0.001),supination,(P=0.047) and extension(P=0.043) scores.These differences were somewhat attenuated by6 months and disappeared at 1 year.The plating group had a greater occurrence of wound infection(P=0.043),tendonitis,(P=0.024) and additional surgery compared with the external fixation group.The only TNO-AZL Adult Quality of Life scores in the plating group that were lower than those in the external fixation group were in the 'gross motor' category(walking upstairs,bending over,walking 500 yards; P=0.023).Internal fixation was more advantageous than external fixation in the early rehabilitation period; after 1 year the outcomes were similar.The plating group showed significantly higher levels of wound infection and tendonitis and had a greater need for additional surgeries.Chuang Ma Qiang Deng Hongwei Pu Xinchun Cheng Yuhua Kan Jing Yang Aihemaitijiang Yusufu Li Cao 2016Bone Research2016,4,1:7

7Innovative superheated steam impingement blanching(SSIB)enhances drying rate and quality attributes of line pepper显示文摘Blanching is an essential step before processing of agricultural products as it can inactivate enzymes that cause undesirable changes.In current work the effects of superheated steam impingement blanching(SSIB)time and temperature on drying characteristics and red pigments content of line pepper were investigated.Results showed that after a 3-min SSIB pretreatment at 110℃ the pepper epidermis covered with wax coat was damaged.In addition,the drying time was extensively decreased and the loss of red pigments of dried products was reduced.Results showed that the whole drying process took place in the falling rate period,which indicated that diffusion was the dominant physical mechanism governing moisture movement in the samples.Therefore,the second Fick’s law of diffusion was used to determine the effective moisture diffusivity(Deff)of line pepper,which increased from 1.193×10^-10 to 3.128×10^-10 m^2/s with increasing of the drying temperature and air velocity.The drying activation energy(Ea)of pretreated samples was 34.31 kJ/mol,which decreased by 3% compared with the non-pretreatment group.The findings of this work indicate that SSIB is very promising pretreatment technique as it not only enhances drying process but also improves bioactive substance preservation of red pepper.Xu-Hai Yang Qian Zhang Jun Wang Li-Zhen Deng Za Kan 2017Information Processing in Agriculture2017,4,4:5

10Response of PM_(2.5)-bound elemental species to emission variations and associated health risk assessment during the COVID-19 pandemic in a coastal megacity显示文摘The coronavirus(COVID-19)pandemic is disrupting the world from many aspects.In this study,the impact of emission variations on PM_(2.5)-bound elemental species and health risks associated to inhalation exposure has been analyzed based on real-time measurements at a remote coastal site in Shanghai during the pandemic.Most trace elemental species decreased significantly and displayed almost no diel peaks during the lockdown.After the lockdown,they rebounded rapidly,of which V and Ni even exceeded the levels before the lockdown,suggesting the recovery of both inland and shipping activities.Five sources were identified based on receptor modeling.Coal combustion accounted for more than 70%of the measured elemental concentrations before and during the lockdown.Shipping emissions,fugitive/mineral dust,and waste incineration all showed elevated contributions after the lockdown.The total non-carcinogenic risk(HQ)for the target elements exceeded the risk threshold for both children and adults with chloride as the predominant species contributing to HQ.Whereas,the total carcinogenic risk(TR)for adults was above the acceptable level and much higher than that for children.Waste incineration was the largest contributor to HQ,while manufacture processing and coal combustion were the main sources of TR.Lockdown control measures were beneficial for lowering the carcinogenic risk while unexpectedly increased the non-carcinogenic risk.From the perspective of health effects,priorities of control measures should be given to waste incineration,manufacture processing,and coal combustion.A balanced way should be reached between both lowering the levels of air pollutants and their health risks.Guochen Wang Kan Huang Qingyan Fu Jia Chen Juntao Huo Qianbiao Zhao Yusen Duan Yanfen Lin Fan Yang Wenjie Zhang Hao Li Jian Xu Xiaofei Qin Na Zhao Congrui Deng 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,12:2

12Fabrication of polymeric-Laponite composite hollow microspheres via LBL assembly显示文摘Hollow structure microspheres with composite polymeric-Laponite shells were prepared by electrostatic self-assembly of Laponite on the polymeric hollow microspheres in this work.The multilayer hydrophilic core/hydrophobic shell polymer latex particles containing carboxyl groups inside were first synthesized via seeded emulsion polymerization,followed by alkali treatment,generating polymeric hollow microspheres.Then,polyethyleneimine(PEI) and Laponite were alternately electrostatic adsorbed on the prepared polymeric hollow microspheres to form polymeric-Laponite composite hollow microspheres.It was indicated that the morphology of alkali-treated microspheres could be tuned through simply altering the dosage of alkali used in the post-treatment process.Along with the increasing of the coating layers,the zeta potential of microspheres absorbed PEI or Laponite approximately tended to be constant respectively,and the thickness of Laponite layer around the hollow microspheres increased clearly,getting more uniform and homogenous.Furthermore,the corresponding polymeric-Laponite hollow microspheres showed high pressure resistance ability compared to the polymeric hollow microspheres.Wei Deng Hua-Chao Guo Guo-An Li Cheng-You Kan 2017Chinese Chemical Letters2017,28,2:2

16Loss of GRB2 associated binding protein 1 in arteriosclerosis obliterans promotes host autophagy显示文摘Background:Arteriosclerosis obliterans(ASO)is a major cause of adult limb loss worldwide.Autophagy of vascular endothelial cell(VEC)contributes to the ASO progression.However,the molecular mechanism that controls VEC autophagy remains unclear.In this study,we aimed to explore the role of the GRB2 associated binding protein 1(GAB1)in regulating VEC autophagy.Methods:In vivo and in vitro studies were applied to determine the loss of adapt protein GAB1 in association with ASO progression.Histological GAB1 expression was measured in sclerotic vascular intima and normal vascular intima.Gain-and loss-of-function of GAB1 were applied in VEC to determine the effect and potential downstream signaling of GAB1.Results:The autophagy repressor p62 was significantly downregulated in ASO intima as compared to that in healthy donor(0.80 vs.0.20,t=6.43,P<0.05).The expression level of GAB1 mRNA(1.00 vs.0.24,t=7.41,P<0.05)and protein(0.72 vs.0.21,t=5.97,P<0.05)was significantly decreased in ASO group as compared with the control group.Loss of GAB1 led to a remarkable decrease in LC3II(1.19 vs.0.68,t=5.99,P<0.05),whereas overexpression of GAB1 significantly led to a decrease in LC3II level(0.41 vs.0.93,t=7.12,P<0.05).Phosphorylation levels of JNK and p38 were significantly associated with gain-and loss-of-function of GAB1 protein.Conclusion:Loss of GAB1 promotes VEC autophagy which is associated with ASO.GAB1 and its downstream signaling might be potential therapeutic targets for ASO treatment.Meng Ye Xiang-Jiang Guo Ke-Jia Kan Qi-Hong Ni Jia-Quan Chen Han Wang Xin Qian Guan-Hua Xue Hao-Yu Deng Lan Zhang 2021Chinese Medical Journal2021,,1:1

18Effects of Shell Composition, Dosage and Alkali Type on the Morphology of Polymer Hollow Microspheres显示文摘Polymer hollow microspheres were prepared by performing alkali treatment on the multilayer core/shell polymer latex particles containing carboxyl groups. Effects of the shell composition and dosage as well as alkali type on the morphology of the microspheres were investigated. Results showed that in comparison with acrylonitrile(AN) and methacrylic acid(MAA), using butyl acrylate(BA) as the shell co-monomer decreased the glass transition temperature(T_g) of shell effectively and was beneficial to the formation of uniform and big hollow structure. Along with the increase of the shell dosage, the alkali-treated microspheres sequentially presented porous and hollow morphology, and the size of microspheres increased, while the hollow diameter increased first and then decreased, and the maximum hollow ratio reached 39.5%. Furthermore, the multilayer core/shell microspheres had better tolerance to NH_3·H_2O than to NaOH. 19Aerosol oxalate and its implication to haze pollution in Shanghai,China显示文摘A total of 238 samples of PM2.5and TSP were analyzed to study the characteristics,sources,and formation pathways of aerosol oxalate in Shanghai in four seasons of 2007.The concentrations of oxalate were0.07–0.41 lg/m3in PM2.5and 0.10–0.48 lg/m3in TSP,respectively.Oxalate displayed a seasonal variation of autumn[summer[winter[spring in both PM2.5and TSP and was dominantly present in PM2.5in all samples.Correlation between oxalate and K?and high ratio of oxalate/K?suggested that biomass burning was a secondary source of aerosol oxalate in Shanghai,in addition to urban VOCs sources(vehicular and industrial emissions),especially in autumn.Secondary formation accounted for the majority of aerosol oxalate in Shanghai,which was supported by the high correlation of oxalate with nssSO42-,K?and NO3-,proceeding from different mechanisms.Relatively high ambient RH together with high cloud cover was found benefiting the secondary formation of aerosol oxalate.The in-cloud process(aqueous-phase oxidation)was proposed to be likely the major formation pathway of aerosol oxalate in Shanghai,which was supported by the high correlation of oxalate with nss-SO42-and K?,dominant residence of oxalate in droplet mode and result of favorable meteorological condition analysis.High correlation of oxalate and NO3-reflected the OH radical involved oxidation chemistry of the two species in the atmosphere and also suggested that gas-particle surface reactions and the evaporation–condensation process were both possible secondary formation pathways of aerosol oxalate in coarser particle mode([1.0 lm).As a major water-soluble organic compound in aerosols,concentration of oxalate showed a distinct negative correlation to the atmospheric visibility,which implied that aerosol organic compounds could play an important role in haze pollution as well as in air quality in Shanghai.Yilun Jiang Guoshun Zhuang Qiongzhen Wang Tingna Liu Kan Huang Joshua S.Fu Juan Li Yanfen Lin Rong Zhang Congrui Deng 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,2:1
20Adaptive evolvement of information age C^4ISR structure显示文摘Command, control, communication, computing, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance(C4ISR) in information age is a complex system whose structure always changes actively or passively during the warfare. Therefore, it is important to optimize the structure, especially in ambiguous and quick-tempo modern warfare. This paper proposes an adaptive evolvement mechanism for the C4ISR structure to survive the changeable warfare. Firstly, the information age C4ISR structure is defined and modeled based on the complex network theory. Secondly,taking the observe, orient, decide and act(OODA) model into consideration, four kinds of loops in the C4ISR structure are proposed and their coefficient of networked effects(CNE) is further defined. Then, the adaptive evolvement mechanisms of the four kinds of loops are presented respectively.
