| 1 | Utilization of polysaccharides as depressants for the flotation separation of copper/lead concentrate显示文摘The interaction mechanism between dextrin and minerals has been investigated through micro-flotation, adsorption density measurements, Fourier transform infrared ray (FTIR) spectroscopic studies and dissolution tests. Dextrin shows a good depressing action towards galena but not chalcopyrite. FTIR spectroscopic studies indicate that dextrin chemically adsorbed on galena surface in alkaline pH range. Dissolution tests confirm leaching action of metal ions from chalcopyrite and galena surfaces, and dextrin-lead ion interaction. | 2 | Effect of sodium pyrophosphate on the flotation separation of chalcopyrite from galena显示文摘The effect of sodium pyrophosphate (SPH) on the separation of chalcopyrite from galena was examined through flotation, adsorption, electrokinetic studies and infrared spectral analysis. Differential flotation tests indicate that satisfactory separation can be achieved within the pH range from 2.5 to 6 using SPH to depress the galena, but not the chalcopyrite when O-isopropyl-N-ethyl thionocarbamate (IPETC) is used as the collector. The electrophoretic mobilities of both the minerals dramatically become negatively charged following SPH adsorption in the pH range from 2.5 to 12. The infrared spectral analysis suggests that chemical adsorption occurs on galena surface treated by SPH, indicating that a chelate complex has formed. At weakly acidic pH values, the adsorption density of IPETC onto galena is significantly reduced in the presence of SPH. However, the amount of IPETC adsorbed onto chalcopyrite almost remains at the same level. Since the observed adsorption density of IEPTC onto chalcopyrite is quite high compared to galena, the observed flotation results are explained. | 3 | A New Species of the Genus Achalinus from Huangshan, Anhui, China(Squamata: Xenodermidae)显示文摘A new species of the genus Achalinus is described based on five specimens collected from the villages of Huangjialing and Fuxi, Huangshan, Anhui, China. It can be morphologically differentia ted from all the other species in Achalinus except for A. spinalis and A. werneri by the presence of a dotted black streak in the middle of the subcaudal. It can be distinguished from A. spinalis in that its two anterior temporals are in contact with eye, and A. werneri by its light brown flanks. The phylogenetic rela tionship of Achalinus was reconstructed using the mitochondrial locus of cytochrome coxidase subunit 1(CO1). The five new specimens form a monophyletic clade with strong support. The uncorrected p-dista nces between the new species and other representatives of Achalinus range from 13.6% to 21.7%. | 8 | Association of urotensin Ⅱ with angiographic severity of coronary artery disease显示文摘Objective The goal of this study was to examine the association between urotensin Ⅱ (U Ⅱ) concentration and the severity of coronary artery disease (CAD). Methods We studied U Ⅱ concentrations in 100 patients with known or suspected CAD referred for cardiac catheterization. Based on coronary angiograms, subjects were classified as having no or mild CAD (stenosis <50%) and significant CAD (stenosis=50%). Micheal score system was used to estimate the severity of CAD. Result U Ⅱ concentration in the significant CAD group had no difference compared with the no or mild CAD group (1.95±1.18pmol/L vs 2.04±1.47pmol/L, P>0.05), but higher in the severe group (score =9) than in the normal or nearly normal group (score<3)(2.50±1.62pmol/L vs 1.61±1.05pmol/L, P=0.03). UⅡ concentration had no relationship with other known risk factors, but it correlated with CAD severity (r=0.213, P=0.034). In multiple regression analysis, U Ⅱ is one of the determinants of the severity of CAD, other than age, abnormal glucose, hypertension and gender. Conclusios U Ⅱ is elevated in severe CAD and there is a significant relationship between U Ⅱ concentration and CAD severity. | 9 | Freezing-directed construction of enzyme/nano interfaces:Reagentless conjugation,superior activity,and better stability显示文摘Immobilizing enzyme to nano interfaces has demonstrated to be a favorable strategy for prompting the industrialized application of enzyme.Despite tremendous endeavor has been devoted to using gold nanoparticles(AuNPs)as conjugation matrix due to its fascinating physico-chemical properties,maintaining enzymatic activity while circumventing cumbersome modification remains a formidable challenge.Herein,the freezing-directed conjugation of enzyme/nano interfaces was constructed without extra reagent.As the proof of concept,glucose oxidase(GOx)was chosen as model enzyme.The one-pot conjugation process can be facilely completed at−20°C under aqueous solution.Moreover,with the loading of GOx on AuNP at freezing,the enzyme exhibited superior catalytic activity and stability upon thermal and pH perturbation.The mechanism of boosted activity was then discussed in detail.It was found that higher loading density under freezing condition and more enzyme tending to bind AuNPs via Au-S bond were the main factors for the superior activity.More importantly,this methodology was universal and can also be applied to other enzyme which contains natural cysteine,such as horseradish peroxidase(HRP)and papain.This facile conjugation strategy accompanied by remarkable bioactivity expand the possibilities for enzymatic biosensing,microdevice and even drug delivery. | Ke Quan Jiajie Tong Lifang Chen Shuyao Fang Mengjiao Li Linlin Wu Zhihe Qing | 2024 | Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,1: | 0 |
