1Spectrum of final pathological diagnosis of gastric adenoma after endoscopic resection显示文摘AIM: To investigate how many discrepancies occur in patients before and after endoscopic treatment of referred adenoma and the reason for these results. METHODS: We retrospectively reviewed data from 554 cases of 534 patients who were referred from primary care centres for adenoma treatment and treated for endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) or endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) at Chungnam National University Hospital, from July 2006 to June 2009. Reendoscopy was examined in 142 cases and biopsywas performed in 108 cases prior to treatment. Three endoscopists (1, 2 and 3) performed all EMRs or ESDs and three pathologists (1, 2 and 3) diagnosed most of the cases. Transfer notes, medical records and endoscopic pictures of these cases were retrospectively reviewed and analyzed. RESULTS: Adenocarcinoma was 72 (13.0%) cases in total 554 cases after endoscopic treatment of referred adenoma. When the grade of dysplasia was high (55.0%), biopsy number was more than three (22.7%), size was no smaller than 2.0 cm (23.2%), morphologic type was depressed (35.8%) or yamada type Ⅳ (100%), and color was red (30.9%) or mixed-or-undetermined (25.0%), it had much more malignancy rate than the others (P < 0.05). All 18 cases diagnosed as adenocarcinoma in the re-endoscopic forceps biopsy were performed by endoscopist 1. There were different malignancy rates according to the pathologist (P = 0.027). CONCLUSION: High grade dysplasia is the most important factor for predicting malignancy as a final pathologic diagnosis before treating the referred gastric adenoma. 10The complex of Fas-associated factor 1 with Hsp70 stabilizes the adherens junction integrity by suppressing RhoA activation显示文摘Fas-associated factor 1 (FAF1) is a scaffolding protein that plays multiple functions, and dysregulation of FAF1 is associated withmany types of diseases such as cancers. FAF1 contains multiple ubiquitin-related domains (UBA, UBL1, UBL2, UAS, and UBX), eachdomain interacting with a specific partner. In particular, the interaction of UBL1 with heat shock protein 70 (Hsp70) is associatedwith tumor formation, although the molecular understanding remains unknown. In this study, the structural analysis revealed thatHis160 of FAF1 is important for its interaction with Hsp70. The association of Hsp70 with FAF1 is required for the interaction withIQGAP1. FAF1 negatively regulates RhoA activation by FAF1–Hsp70 complex formation, which then interacts with IQGAP1. Thesesteps play a key role in maintaining the stability of cell-to-cell junction. We conclude that FAF1 plays a critical role in the structureand function of adherens junction during tissue homeostasis and morphogenesis by suppressing RhoA activation, which induces theactivation of Rho-associated protein kinase, phosphorylation of myosin light chain, formation of actin stress fiber, and disruptionof adherens junction. In addition, depletion of FAF1 increased collective invasion in a 3D spheroid cell culture. These results provideinsightinto how the FAF1–Hsp70 complex acts as a novelregulator ofthe adherens junction integrity. 12High-efficiency single and tandem fullerene solar cells with asymmetric monofluorinated diketopyrrolopyrrole-based polymer显示文摘Design and synthesis of low bandgap(LBG) polymer donors is inevitably challenging and their processability from a non-halogenated solvent system remains a hurdle to overcome in the area of highperformance polymer solar cells(PSCs).Due to a high aggregation tendency of LBG polymers,especially diketopyrrolopyrrole(DPP)-based polymers coupled with bithiophenes in the polymer backbones,their widespread adoption in non-ha logena ted solvent-processed PSCs has been limited.Herein,a novel LBG DPP-based polymer,called PDPP4 T-1 F with asymmetric arrangement of fluorine atom,has been successfully synthesized and showed an outstanding power conversion efficiency(PCE) of 10.10% in a singlejunction fullerene-based PSCs.Furthermore,an impressive PCE of 13.21% has been achieved in a tandem device from a fully non-halogenated solvent system,which integrates a wide bandgap PDTBTBz-2 F polymer in the bottom cell and LBG PDPP4 T-1 F polymer in the top cell.The achieved efficiency is the highest value reported in the literature to date in fullerene-based tandem PSCs.We found that a uniformly distributed interpenetrating fibril network with nano-scale phase separation and anisotropy of the polymer backbone orientation for efficient charge transfer/transport and suppressed charge recombination in PDPP4 T-1 F-based PSCs led to outstanding PCEs in single and tandem-junction PSCs.Shafket Rasool Quoc Viet Hoang Doan Van Vu Chang Eun Song Hang Ken Lee Sang Kyu Lee Jong-Cheol Lee Sang-Jin Moon Won Suk Shin 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,1:0
