| 2 | Synthesis and applications of mesoporous Cu-Zn-Al_2O_3 catalyst for dehydrogenation of 2-butanol显示文摘A series of mesoporous Cu-Zn-Al2O3 materials have been synthesized at ambient temperature and their structure was characterized by XRD, N2 physical adsorption and TPR techniques. Their catalytic applications for the dehydrogenation of 2-butanol to methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) were evaluated in a fixed-bed flow reactor at atmospheric pressure. It is demonstrated from the XRD patterns that both the as-synthesized samples and calcined samples have the typical XRD patterns of meso-structured materials and the results of N2O chemical adsorption showed that Cu was embedded in the framework of the mesoporous materials and homogeneously dispersed in the mesoporous Cu-Zn-Al2O3 materials. | 4 | Quantitative assessment of gas washing of oils in the Tazhong area of the Tarim Basin,Northwest China显示文摘Gas washing has been known in the Tazhong area of the Tarim Basin,but its quantitative assessment has not yet been reported.Here the influence of gas washing fractionation in the area was discussed based on the gas chromatogram data of 68 oils and the results of the mixing experiments of a black oil and a condensate.The results show that the intensity of gas washing fractionation decreased generally from northern to southern part and vertically from deep reservoirs to shallow reservoirs.The gas washing fractionation was mainly controlled by fault systems in this area,with the increase of n-alkane mass depletion positively correlated to the number and scale of faults.Gas washing fractionation appears to have affected the hydrocarbon property,and as a result the diversity of the crude oils is markedly controlled by gas washing.In addition,the occurrence of waxy oil in this area may be resulted from multiple factors including gas washing,mixed filling and migration fractionation. | YANG ChuPeng GENG AnSong LIAO ZeWen SUN YongGe ZHANG LüHui | 2009 | Science China Earth Sciences2009，52，1： | 4 |
| 5 | Gleaning insights from German energy transition and large-scale underground energy storage for China’s carbon neutrality显示文摘The global energy transition is a widespread phenomenon that requires international exchange of experiences and mutual learning.Germany’s success in its first phase of energy transition can be attributed to its adoption of smart energy technology and implementation of electricity futures and spot marketization,which enabled the achievement of multiple energy spatial–temporal complementarities and overall grid balance through energy conversion and reconversion technologies.While China can draw from Germany’s experience to inform its own energy transition efforts,its 11-fold higher annual electricity consumption requires a distinct approach.We recommend a clean energy system based on smart sector coupling(ENSYSCO)as a suitable pathway for achieving sustainable energy in China,given that renewable energy is expected to guarantee 85%of China’s energy production by 2060,requiring significant future electricity storage capacity.Nonetheless,renewable energy storage remains a significant challenge.We propose four large-scale underground energy storage methods based on ENSYSCO to address this challenge,while considering China’s national conditions.These proposals have culminated in pilot projects for large-scale underground energy storage in China,which we believe is a necessary choice for achieving carbon neutrality in China and enabling efficient and safe grid integration of renewable energy within the framework of ENSYSCO. | Yachen Xie Xuning Wu Zhengmeng Hou Zaoyuan Li Jiashun Luo Christian Truitt Lüddeke Liangchao Huang Lin Wu Jianxing Liao | 2023 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023，33，5： | 4 |

The total flavonoid content of the extracts was also determined.METHODS: Cytotoxicity of the extracts to RAW264.7 cells was evaluated by the ATPlite? method.Inhibitory effects of the extracts on NO production were evaluated by Griess assay. Curcumin was used as a positive control. Screening of extracts for potential α-glucosidase inhibitors was done by a fluorometric assay.The assay was based on the hydrolysis of 4-methylumbelliferyl-a-D-glucopyranoside to form the fluorescent product, 4-methylumbelliferone. Acarbose was used as a positive control. The total flavonoid content was tested using kaempferol as the standard.RESULTS: There were significant inhibitory effects on NO production when the extracts were 25-100μg/mL(P<0.05) and curcumin was 2-4 μg/mL(P<0.001). The extracts showed an inhibitory effect onα-glucosidase activity at the concentrations of15.6-125 μg/mL with a half maximal(50%) inhibitory concentration(IC50) of(32.8±5.7) μg/mL, compared with the IC 50 of acarbose at(1.8±0.4) μg/mL.There was a significant difference between the two IC50values(P<0.001). The total content of flavonoids per gram of dried herb was1.14 mg.CONCLUSION:Honghua(Flos Carthami)showed in hibitory effects on NO production in activated RAW264.7 macrophage cells and an inhibitory effect on yeast α-glucosidase. | 13 | Improved scoring system for the electrocardiographic diagnosis of left ventricular hypertrophy显示文摘BACKGROUND Left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH) is a common manifestation of cardiovascular disease and a risk factor for cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, but available methods for its electrocardiographic(ECG) diagnosis have limited accuracy.AIM To investigate findings associated with LVH on ECG and developed an improved system for the diagnosis of LVH.METHODS A cohort study comparing ECG data acquired within 30 days of transthoracic echocardiography(TTE) was performed. Multivariate regression analysis identified ECG findings associated with increased LV mass and mass index. A scoring system was derived and performance compared to established criteria for LVH.RESULTS Data from 5486 outpatients with TTEs and corresponding ECGs were included in the derivation cohort, 333(6.1%) of whom had LVH by TTE. In the primary regression analysis, findings associated with LVH were amplitudes of Q in V3, R in V6, S in V3, T in V6, P' in V1, P in V6, as well as R and T-axis discordance, R peak time in V6, QRS duration, weight, height, sex, and age. From this we derived a score consisting of 5 criteria, and validated it in an independent cohort of 910 patients. With a threshold of 1.5 points, sensitivity and specificity were67.9% and 81.4%, and 62.5% and 83.2% in the derivation and validation cohorts,respectively.
