| 1 | Additive manufacturing frontier: 3D printing electronics显示文摘3D printing is disrupting the design and manufacture of electronic products. 3D printing electronics offers great potentialto build complex object with multiple functionalities. Particularly, it has shown the unique ability to make embedded electronics,3D structural electronics, conformal electronics, stretchable electronics, etc. 3D printing electronics has beenconsidered as the next frontier in additive manufacturing and printed electronics. Over the past five years, a large numberof studies and efforts regarding 3D printing electronics have been carried out by both academia and industries. In thispaper, a comprehensive review of recent advances and significant achievements in 3D printing electronics is provided.Furthermore, the prospects, challenges and trends of 3D printing electronics are discussed. | 2 | Targeting a novel inducible GPX4 alternative isoform to alleviate ferroptosis and treat metabolic-associated fatty liver disease显示文摘Metabolic-associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD),which is previously known as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD),represents a major health concern worldwide with limited therapy.Here,we provide evidence that ferroptosis,a novel form of regulated cell death characterized by iron-driven lipid peroxidation,was comprehensively activated in liver tissues from MAFLD patients.The canonical-GPX4(cGPX4),which is the most important negative controller of ferroptosis,is downregulated at protein but not mRNA level.Interestingly,a non-canonical GPX4 transcript-variant is induced(inducible-GPX4,iGPX4)in MAFLD condition.The high fat-fructose/sucrose diet(HFFD)and methionine/choline-deficient diet(MCD)-induced MAFLD pathologies,including hepatocellular ballooning,steatohepatitis andfibrosis,were attenuated and aggravated,respectively,in cGPX4-and iGPX4-knockin mice.cGPX4 and iGPX4 isoforms also displayed opposing effects on oxidative stress and ferroptosis in hepatocytes.Knockdown of iGPX4 by siRNA alleviated lipid stress,ferroptosis and cell injury.Mechanistically,the triggered iGPX4 interacts with cGPX4 to facilitate the transformation of cGPX4 from enzymatic-active monomer to enzymatic-inactive oligomers upon lipid stress,and thus promotes ferroptosis.Co-immunoprecipitation and nano LC–MS/MS analyses confirmed the interaction between iGPX4 and cGPX4.Our results reveal a detrimental role of non-canonical GPX4 isoform in ferroptosis,and indicate selectively targeting iGPX4 may be a promising therapeutic strategy for MAFLD. | Jie Tong Dongjie Li Hongbo Meng Diyang Sun Xiuting Lan Min Ni Jiawei Ma Feiyan Zeng Sijia Sun Jiangtao Fu Guoqiang Li Qingxin Ji Guoyan Zhang Qirui Shen Yuanyuan Wang Jiahui Zhu Yi Zhao Xujie Wang Yi Liu Shenxi Ouyang Chunquan Sheng Fuming Shen Pei Wang | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,9: | 3 |
| 3 | Delineating spatiotemporal and hierarchical development of human fetal innate lymphoid cells显示文摘Whereas the critical roles of innate lymphoid cells(ILCs)in adult are increasingly appreciated,their developmental hierarchy in early human fetus remains largely elusive.In this study,we sorted human hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells,lymphoid progenitors,putative ILC progenitor/precursors and mature ILCs in the fetal hematopoietic,lymphoid and non-lymphoid tissues,from 8 to 12 post-conception weeks,for single-cell RNA-sequencing,followed by computational analysis and functional validation at bulk and single-cell levels.We delineated the early phase of ILC lineage commitment from hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells,which mainly occurred in fetal liver and intestine.We further unveiled interleukin-3 receptor as a surface marker for the lymphoid progenitors in fetal liver with T,B,ILC and myeloid potentials,while IL-3RA–lymphoid progenitors were predominantly B-lineage committed.Notably,we determined the heterogeneity and tissue distribution of each ILC subpopulation,revealing the proliferating characteristics shared by the precursors of each ILC subtype.Additionally,a novel unconventional ILC2 subpopulation(CRTH2–CCR9+ILC2)was identified in fetal thymus.Taken together,our study illuminates the precise cellular and molecular features underlying the stepwise formation of human fetal ILC hierarchy with remarkable spatiotemporal heterogeneity. | Chen Liu Yandong Gong Han Zhang Hua Yang Yang Zeng Zhilei Bian Qian Xin Zhijie Bai Man Zhang Jian He Jing Yan Jie Zhou Zongcheng Li Yanli Ni Aiqing Wen Yu Lan Hongbo Hu Bing Liu | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,10: | 2 |
| 4 | The Diversity of Soil Fauna Communities in the Karst Cave Wetland of Maolan Nature Reserve显示文摘From March 2014 to February 2015, the soil fauna community in the karst cave wetland of Maolan Nature Reserve was investigated. A total of 3,820 soil fauna was obtained, belonging to 31 orders, 11 classes, and 3 phyla. The dominant groups were Araneae, Coleoptera and Hymenoptera, accounting for 48.90% of the total catch. There were 18 common groups and 10 rare groups. The diversity analysis showed that the Banzhai karst cave wetland had the largest soil fauna community diversity index and evenness index and that the Dongsai karst cave wetland had the largest number of groups and individuals. | 8 | Mold deformation in soft UV-nanoimprint lithography显示文摘UV-nanoimprint lithography (UV-NIL) using a soft mold is a promising technique with low cost and high throughput for producing the submicron scale large-area patterns. However, the deformations of the soft mold during imprinting process which can cause serious consequences have to be understood for the practical application of the process. This paper investigated the deformation of the soft mold by theoretical analyses, numerical simulations, and experimental studies. We simulated the mold deformation using a simplified model and finite element method. The simulation and the related experimental results agree well with each other. Through the investigation, the mechanism and affected factors of the mold deformation are revealed, and some useful conclusions have been achieved. | 17 | Additive Manufacturing of Large-scale Metal Mesh with Core-shell Composite Structure for Transparent Electromagnetic Shielding/glass Heater显示文摘Transparent electromagnetic(EM)shielding glass with a metal mesh has significant potential for application in different fields of EM radiation and anti-EM interference light-transmitting observation windows.In particular,a transparent EM-shielding glass with a large-aspect-ratio metal mesh can effectively alleviate the contradictory problems of shielding effectiveness and light-transmission performance constraints.However,the fabrication of high-aspect-ratio metal meshes on glass substrates has problems such as high cost,complex processes,low efficiency,small area,and easy damage issues,which limit their application in the field of high-performance,transparent EM-shielding glass.Therefore,this paper proposes a composite additive manufacturing process based on electric-field-driven microjet 3D printing and electroplating.By fabricating metal meshes with an Ag-Cu core-shell structure on a glass substrate,EM-shielding glass with high shielding efficiency and light transmission can be manufactured without increasing the aspect ratio of the metal meshes.The prepared Ag-Cu composite metal mesh has excellent optoelectronic properties(period 250��m,line width 10��m,90.1%transmission at 550 nm visible light,square resistance 0.21Ω/sq),efficient electrothermal effect(3 V DC voltage can reach 189°C steady-state temperature),stable EM-shielding effectiveness(average shielding effectiveness 23 dB at X-band),and acceptable mechanical and environmental stability(less than 3%change in square resistance after 150-times adhesion test and less than 6%and 0.6%change in resistance after 72 h in acid and alkali environments,respectively).This method provides a new solution for the mass production of high-performance large-area transparent electric heating/EM-shielding glass. | Yuping Tai Junyi Zhou Xiaoyang Zhu Houchao Zhang Hongke Li Zhenghao Li Rui Wang Fan Zhang Guangming Zhang Chaohong Liu Hongbo Lan | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering(Additive Manufacturing Frontiers)2023,2,3: | 0 |
