1Chaos Criteria Design Based on Modified Sign Functions with One or Three-Threshold显示文摘The complexity measures of chaotic or periodic signals are perpetual topics of interest to data scientists. This work adheres to the framework of the traditional 0-1 test for chaos and replaces sine and cosine functions by modified sign functions. The compressive mapping rules chosen are one-threshold of three-value or three-threshold of five-value. In new criteria for chaos in forms of the 3s plot and Ks metric compared with 0-1 test results, the periodic state of data features a short beeline instead of a big ring in the pq plot and signs the nearest zero mark, while the chaotic state signs a simple curve instead of a random-walking shape in the pq plot, and shows the nearest one mark. By computing the Lorenz equation evolution under the contrast tests of the Poincare section and Lyapunov index, we visualize a new chaoscriteria design in symbolic dynamics and data compression principles, and our work may lay the foundation for further expressing the chaotic appearance of novel signals deep into future brainets.WU Senlin LI Yaotian LI Wenshi LI Lei 2019Chinese Journal of Electronics2019,28,2:2

3Synthesis of nitrogen-doped carbon spheres using the modified Stober method for supercapacitors显示文摘Nitrogen-doped carbon spheres (NCSs) with uniform and regular morphology were facilely prepared by the modified Stober method. Hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) was selected as the starting material, which decomposed to provide nitrogen and carbon sources for the synthesis of NCSs. The decomposition product formaldehyde polymerized to form carbon skeleton with resorcinol after carbonization, and the in-situ nitrogen doping was achieved with the decomposed nitrogen source. NCSs were obtained with regular spherical morphology, high specific surface area, and suitable nitrogen doping. 5Concurrent silencing of TBCE and drug delivery to overcome platinum-based resistance in liver cancer显示文摘Platinum-based chemotherapy resistance is a key factor of poor prognosis and recurrence in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Herein,RNAseq analysis revealed that elevated tubulin folding cofactor E(TBCE)expression is associated with platinum-based chemotherapy resistance.High expression of TBCE contributes to worse prognoses and earlier recurrence among liver cancer patients.Mechanistically,TBCE silencing significantly affects cytoskeleton rearrangement,which in turn increases cisplatin-induced cycle arrest and apoptosis.To develop these findings into potential therapeutic drugs,endosomal pH-responsive nanoparticles(NPs)were developed to simultaneously encapsulate TBCE siRNA and cisplatin(DDP)to reverse this phenomena.NPs(siTBCE+DDP)concurrently silenced TBCE expression,increased cell sensitivity to platinum treatment,and subsequently resulted in superior anti-tumor effects both in vitro and in vivo in orthotopic and patient-derived xenograft(PDX)models.Taken together,NP-mediated delivery and the co-treatment of siTBCE+DDP proved to be effective in reversing chemotherapy resistance of DDP in multiple tumor models.Senlin Li Siyu Chen Zhihui Dong Xingdong Song Xiuling Li Ziqi Huang Huiru Li Linzhuo Huang Ganyuan Zhuang Ran Lan Mingyan Guo Wende Li Phei Er Saw Lei Zhang 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,3:1
6Seismic ahead-prospecting based on deep learning of retrieving seismic wavefield显示文摘Unknown geology ahead of the tunnel boring machine(TBM)brings a large safety risk for tunnel construction.Seismic ahead-prospecting using TBM drilling noise as a source can achieve near-real-time detection,meeting the requirements of TBM rapid drilling.Seismic wavefield retrieval is the key data processing step for the efficient utilization of TBM drilling noise.The traditional solution is based on cross-correlation to extract reflected waves,but the reference waves remain in the result,disturbing the imaging and interpre-tation of the adverse geology.To solve this problem,the deep learning method was introduced in wavefield retrieval to improve the accu-racy of geological prospecting.We trained a deep neural network(DNN)with its strong nonlinear mapping capability to transform seismic data from TBM drilling noise to data from the active source.The issue lies in its features for this specific tunnel task,including the decay of the seismic signal with time and the incomplete spatial correspondence.Thus,we improved a classical DNN with the time constraint as an additional input,and an additional pre-decoder to enlarge the receptive field.Additionally,a loss function weighted by the ground truth and time constraint is improved to achieve an accurate retrieval of the effective signal,considering the little effective information in tunnel data.Finally,the workflow of the proposed method was given,and a dataset designed with reference to the field case was employed to train the network.The proposed method accurately retrieved the reflection signal with higher dominant frequen-cies,which helped improve the accuracy of imaging.Numerical simulations and imaging on typical geological models show that the pro-posed method can suppress reference waves and get more accurate results with fewer artifacts.The proposed method has been applied in the Gaoligongshan Tunnel and imaged two abnormal zones,providing meaningful geological information for TBM drilling and tunnel construction.Lei Chen Senlin Yang Lei Guo Panlong Zhang Kai Li Wei Shao Xinji Xu ⇑Fahe Sun 2023Underground Space2023,,4:0
7Chronic Stress Induced Proliferation and Activation of Mast Cells of Gastric Antrum in Rats显示文摘To explore chronic heterotypic stressors induced proliferation and activation of mast cells in gastric antrum mucosa by ultrastructure alterations of mast cells,chronic unpredictable heterotypic stressors were used as a study model.The mean immunofluorescence magnitude of mast cell protease 1 (MCP-1) taken from chronic stress rats were 37.4±7.7,significantly higher (p<0.05) than the value of normal control group (24.8±5.6).Chronic unpre-dictable haterotypic stressors appeared also to induce ultrastructure alterations of mast cells.It indicated that mast cells were proliferated and activated,while mast cell granules were hyperplasiaed.Most granules had obvious intragranular changes with loss of electron-dense material.The morphologic evidence showed that macro-phages and leukocytes infiltrated in chronic stress rats.Some granules of leukocytes adhered to the surface of mast cell,and formed a bridge.Macrophages phagocytized the mast cell granules.CHEN Zhenhua WANG Gaohua LUO Heshen CHEN Jihong HUANG Yonglan WANG Xiaoping LEI Senlin 2008Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2008,13,2:0
8Identification of COL3A1 variants associated with sporadic thoracic aortic dissection: a case-control study显示文摘Thoracic aortic dissection(TAD)without familial clustering or syndromic features is known as sporadic TAD(STAD).So far,the genetic basis of STAD remains unknown.Whole exome sequencing was performed in 223 STAD patients and 414 healthy controls from the Chinese Han population(N=637).After population structure and genetic relationship and ancestry analyses,we used the optimal sequence kernel association test to identify the candidate genes or variants of STAD.We found that COL3A1 was significantly relevant to STAD(P=7.35×10^(−6))after 10000 times permutation test(P=2.49×10^(−3)).Moreover,another independent cohort,including 423 cases and 734 non-STAD subjects(N=1157),replicated our results(P=0.021).Further bioinformatics analysis showed that COL3A1 was highly expressed in dissected aortic tissues,and its expression was related to the extracellular matrix(ECM)pathway.Our study identified a profile of known heritable TAD genes in the Chinese STAD population and found that COL3A1 could increase the risk of STAD through the ECM pathway.We wanted to expand the knowledge of the genetic basis and pathology of STAD,which may further help in providing better genetic counseling to the patients.Yanghui Chen Yang Sun Zongzhe Li Chenze Li Lei Xiao Jiaqi Dai Shiyang Li Hao Liu Dong Hu Dongyang Wu Senlin Hu Bo Yu Peng Chen Ping Xu Wei Kong Dao Wen Wang 2021Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,3:0
9Pore-pressure and stress-coupled creep behavior in deep coal:Insights from real-time NMR analysis显示文摘Understanding the variations in microscopic pore-fracture structures(MPFS) during coal creep under pore pressure and stress coupling is crucial for coal mining and effective gas treatment. In this manuscript, a triaxial creep test on deep coal at various pore pressures using a test system that combines in-situ mechanical loading with real-time nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) detection was conducted.Full-scale quantitative characterization, online real-time detection, and visualization of MPFS during coal creep influenced by pore pressure and stress coupling were performed using NMR and NMR imaging(NMRI) techniques. The results revealed that seepage pores and microfractures(SPM) undergo the most significant changes during coal creep, with creep failure gradually expanding from dense primary pore fractures. Pore pressure presence promotes MPFS development primarily by inhibiting SPM compression and encouraging adsorption pores(AP) to evolve into SPM. Coal enters the accelerated creep stage earlier at lower stress levels, resulting in more pronounced creep deformation. The connection between the micro and macro values was established, demonstrating that increased porosity at different pore pressures leads to a negative exponential decay of the viscosity coefficient. The Newton dashpot in the ideal viscoplastic body and the Burgers model was improved using NMR experimental results, and a creep model that considers pore pressure and stress coupling using variable-order fractional operators was developed. The model’s reasonableness was confirmed using creep experimental data.
