| 1 | N-doped ordered mesoporous carbon spheres derived by confined pyrolysis for high supercapacitor performance显示文摘Herein, we report a confined pyrolysis strategy to prepare mesoporous carbon nanospheres by which surface area of carbon spheres is increased, pore size is enlarged and effective N-doping is achieved. In this method, the mesoporous polymer sphere as carbon precursor and 2-methylimidazole as nitrogen precursor are encapsulated in a compact silica shell which provides a confined nano-space for the pyrolysis treatment. The in situ generated gases from mesoporous polymer sphere and 2-methylimidazole under pyrolysis diffuse into the pores of mesoporous polymer sphere in the confined compact silica shell,resulting in increased surface area, larger pore size and N-doping due to self-activation effect. | 2 | A bifunctional and recyclable catalyst:Amine and ionic liquid grafting on MOFs for the one-pot synthesis of N-aryl oxazolidin-2-ones显示文摘A bifunctional heterogeneous catalyst was designed and synthesized,denoted DMEDA/IL–NH2-MIL-101.The structure and physical-chemical characterization of DMEDA/IL–NH2-MIL-101 and its precursors were characterized by SEM,N2 adsorption-desorption,XPS,FT-IR,PXRD,elemental analysis,and TGA techniques.The date showed that the two catalytic components of N,N-dimethylethylenediamine(DMEDA)and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide(BmimBr)were chemically immobilized in NH2-MIL-101 nanocages.The amine of DMEDA was grafted onto carrier NH2-MIL-101 by N–Cr coordinate covalent bonds and the ionic liquid of BmimBr(IL(Br-))was anchored in the NH2-MIL-101 nanocages by'ship-in-a-bottle'method,in which the amidogen of NH2-MIL-101 condensed with N,N-carbonyldiimidazole(CDI)firstly,and then alkylated with 1-bromo butane.This novel heterogeneous catalyst with two different active sites can efficiently catalyze the synthesis of N-aryl oxazolidin-2-ones from carbon dioxide(CO2),epoxides,and anilines in one-pot under mild solvent-free conditions.It not only showed good stability and recoverability after five cycles but also exhibited shape selectivity for the substrate due to the synergic catalysis of amine,ionic liquid,and NH2-MIL-101.This novel bifunctional material is a promising solid catalyst for the green synthesis of N-aryl oxazolidin-2-ones. | Siying Chong Tongtong Wang Haijun Zhong Lingfei Xu Hailong Xu Zhongwu Lv Min Ji | 2020 | Green Energy & Environment2020,5,2: | 3 |
| 3 | Fabrication of N-doped carbon nanobelts from a polypyrrole tube by confined pyrolysis for supercapacitors显示文摘In this present work,N-doped carbon nanobelts(N-CNBs)were prepared by a confined-pyrolysis approach and the N-CNBs were derived from a polypyrrole(Ppy)tube coated with a compact silica layer.The silica layer provided a confined space for the Ppy pyrolysis,thereby hindering the rapid overflow of pyrolysis gas,which is the activator for the formation of carbonaceous materials.At the same time,the confined environment can activate the carbon shell to create a thin wall and strip the carbon tube into belt morphology.This process of confined pyrolysis realizes self-activation during the pyrolysis of Ppy to obtain the carbon nanobelts without adding any additional activator,which reduces pollution and preparation cost.In addition,this approach is simple to operate and avoids the disadvantages of other methods that consume time and materials.The as-prepared N-CNB shows cross-linked nanobelt morphology and a rich porous structure with a large specific surface area.As supercapacitor electrode materials,the N-CNB can present abundant active sites,and exhibits a specific capacitance of 246 F·g^(−1),and excellent ability with 95.44%retention after 10000 cycles.This indicates that the N-CNB is an ideal candidate as a supercapacitor electrode material. | Wei Wang Haijun Lv Juan Du Aibing Chen | 2021 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2021,15,5: | 1 |
| 4 | Synthesis of nitrogen-doped carbon spheres using the modified Stober method for supercapacitors显示文摘Nitrogen-doped carbon spheres (NCSs) with uniform and regular morphology were facilely prepared by the modified Stober method. Hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) was selected as the starting material, which decomposed to provide nitrogen and carbon sources for the synthesis of NCSs. The decomposition product formaldehyde polymerized to form carbon skeleton with resorcinol after carbonization, and the in-situ nitrogen doping was achieved with the decomposed nitrogen source. NCSs were obtained with regular spherical morphology, high specific surface area, and suitable nitrogen doping. | 7 | Multiscale Structure Engineering for High-Performance Pb-Free Piezoceramics显示文摘CONSPECTUS:The increasing world energy crisis drives humans to harvest the energy in nature as much as possible without heavily damaging the environment.However,most of the energy in nature cannot be used directly.Therefore,pursuing technologies or matter that can directly interconvert different energies has been one of the most cutting-edge fields in science and technology.Such a magic ability exists in true-life piezoelectric materials that generate charge when being given a force and vice versa,rendering them highly promising for energy harvesting and conversion because of the tremendous mechanical energy on the earth,such as tide energy.Thus,piezoelectric materials,represented by the lead zirconate titanate(Pb(Zr,Ti)O_(3),PZT)family,have been largely used in various traditional and burgeoning fields,such as electronic information,biomedical treatment,and wearable flexible electronic devices,and are one of the most important favorites in multidisciplinary fields.However,Pb is highly toxic.Driven by environmental protection and concern for human health,Pb-free piezoceramics are rapidly being developed to hopefully replace Pb-based ones.In particular,the renewal of Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances(e.g.,RoHS 2),issued by the European Union,declared that replacement of PZT“...may be scientif ically and technologically practical to a certain degree...”.Therefore,developing high-performance Pb-free piezoceramics has become more urgent than ever.In this context,some Pb-free piezoceramics,represented by potassium sodium niobate((K,Na)NbO_(3),KNN),barium titanate(BaTiO_(3),BT),bismuth barium titanate((Bi,Na)TiO_(3),BNT),and bismuth ferrite(BiFeO_(3),BFO),stand out because of their unique or similar traits.However,several key challenges,including an inferior overall performance compared to Pb-based counterparts and an unclear structure−property relationship from multiscale viewpoints,have severely hindered the development of Pb-free piezoceramics for a long time.Pb-based piezoceramics possess decent performance due to the strategy of phase boundary engineering,which inspired the researchers to pursue it in Pb-free counterparts.In the last 10 years,our group has been aiming at the new phase boundary(NPB)and new physical phenomenon in Pb-free piezoceramics.This Account presents our recent contributions to the development of Pbfree piezoceramics concerning the good performance and emerging phenomenon.First,we introduce the construction of the NPB in KNN-based piezoceramics by emphasizing the role of some key elements(i.e.,Bi,Sb,Zr,and Hf).Then,we summarize the effects of the NPB on KNN-and BT-based ceramics and the new physical phenomenon in BNT-based ceramics.The NPB boosts the piezoelectric properties and temperature stability of KNN-and BT-based piezoceramics,comparable to some Pb-based piezoceramics.Combining the NPB and the multilayer ceramics substantially enhances the temperature stability of the piezoelectric constant.A new physical phenomenon of the nanoscale bubble domains with polar topologies is for the first time revealed in BNTbased ceramics,showing potential applications for nonconventional and high-density nonvolatile memories.In particular,we emphasize structure engineering from multiscale viewpoints including the local,microscopic,mesoscopic,and macroscopic structure(e.g.,lattice structure,ferroelectric domains,and phase structure).Finally,we provide perspectives on the future developments of Pb-free piezoceramics toward practical applications. | Xiang Lv Ting Zheng Chunlin Zhao Jie Yin Haijun Wu Jiagang Wu | 2022 | Accounts of Materials Research2022,3,4: | 1 |

| 14 | Study on the Seismic Fortification Criteria of Offshore Platforms in the Bohai Sea显示文摘This paper analyzes the seismicity and seismic risk distribution in the Bohai Sea. Based on the seismic design parameters of 46 platforms in the Bohai Sea, a statistic analysis is made on the ratios of the peak accelerations for different probability levels. In accordance with the two-stage design method, a scheme of two design seismic levels is proposed, and two fortification goals are established respectively for strength level earthquakes and ductility level earthquakes. Through analogy and comparison to the Chinese seismic code for buildings, it is proposed that the probability level for the strength and ductility level earthquakes takes return periods of 200a and 1000~2500a respectively, and we further expounded on its rationality. Finally, the fortification parameters in the sub-regions of Bohai Sea area are given in the light of seismic risk zonation and ground motion division. | 15 | RIPK3 promotes hantaviral replication by restricting JAK-STAT signaling without triggering necroptosis显示文摘Hantaan virus(HTNV)is a rodent-borne virus that causes hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome(HFRS),resulting in a high mortality rate of 15%.Interferons(IFNs)play a critical role in the anti-hantaviral immune response,and IFN pretreatment efficiently restricts HTNV infection by triggering the expression of a series of IFNstimulated genes(ISGs)through the Janus kinase-signal transducer and activator of transcription 1(JAK-STAT)pathway.However,the tremendous amount of IFNs produced during late infection could not restrain HTNV replication,and the mechanism remains unclear.Here,we demonstrated that receptor-interacting protein kinase 3(RIPK3),a crucial molecule that mediates necroptosis,was activated by HTNV and contributed to hantavirus evasion of IFN responses by inhibiting STAT1 phosphorylation.RNA-seq analysis revealed the upregulation of multiple cell death-related genes after HTNV infection,with RIPK3 identified as a key modulator of viral replication.RIPK3 ablation significantly enhanced ISGs expression and restrained HTNV replication,without affecting the expression of pattern recognition receptors(PRRs)or the production of type I IFNs.Conversely,exogenously expressed RIPK3 compromised the host's antiviral response and facilitated HTNV replication.RIPK3^(-/-)mice also maintained a robust ability to clear HTNV with enhanced innate immune responses.Mechanistically,we found that RIPK3 could bind STAT1 and inhibit STAT1 phosphorylation dependent on the protein kinase domain(PKD)of RIPK3 but not its kinase activity.Overall,these observations demonstrated a noncanonical function of RIPK3 during viral infection and have elucidated a novel host innate immunity evasion strategy utilized by HTNV. | Yue Si Haijun Zhang Ziqing Zhou Xudong Zhu Yongheng Yang He Liu Liang Zhang Linfeng Cheng Kerong Wang Wei Ye Xin Lv Xijing Zhang Wugang Hou Gang Zhao Yingfeng Lei Fanglin Zhang Hongwei Ma | 2023 | Virologica Sinica2023,38,5: | 0 |

| 17 | Hydrogen peroxide-activatable iodoBodipy-phthalhydrazid conjugate nanoparticles for cancer therapy显示文摘The dependence on outer light source strongly hinders clinical applications of photodynamic therapy(PDT)to the deep-seated tumor.However,the majority of documented PDT systems that function without the external light source rely on either the chemiluminescence resonance energy transfer(CRET)or fluorescence resonance energy transfer(FRET)mechanism,which decreases the energy transfer efficiency and reproducibility of PDT.Herein,we developed a novel single-molecule triplet photosensitizer(iodoBodipy(IBDP)-L)that can be chemiexcited to triplet excited state to generate reactive oxygen species instead of outer light irradiation.The direct bonding of phthalhydrazid moiety to iodoBodipy fluorophore evoked valid intramolecular energy transfer(IET),and once phthalhydrazid part is activated by hydrogen peroxide,the released reaction energy could excite the iodoBodipy-phthalhydrazid conjugate as a whole.Reaction product IBDP-L-COOH showed high triplet state quantum yield(ΦT=65%)and large spin-orbit coupling.A large amount of reactive oxygen species(ROS)was produced in MCF-7 cells,thus inhibiting the cell growth both in vitro and in vivo after IBDP-L was formulated into nanoparticles(NPs)via nanoprecipitation.We believe that the synthesized IodoBodipy-phthalhydrazid conjugate based on the IET mechanism will open a new door in the molecular design of efficient triplet photosensitizers for treating deeply seated tumors in the future. | Haijun Ning Yuxin Yang Chengyuan Lv Danhong Zhou Saran Long Wen Sun Jianjun Du Jiangli Fan Xiaojun Peng | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,10: | 0 |
