| 3 | Control of neotectonic movement on hydrocarbon accumulation in the Kuqa Foreland Basin,west China显示文摘Neotectonic movement refers to the tectonic movement that has happened since the Cenozoic,which is the latest movement. It has the most important influence on the basins in west China,especially on the hydrocarbon accumulation in the western foreland basins. We determined the time of neotectonic movement in the Kuqa Foreland Basin,which began from the Neogene,and analyzed the patterns of movement,which were continuous and fast subsidence in the vertical direction and intense lateral compression. The structure styles are that the faulting is weakened and the folding is strengthened gradually from north to south. We studied the control of neotectonic movement on the hydrocarbon accumulation process and model in the Kuqa Foreland Basin with basin simulation technique. The largest subsidence rate of the Kuqa Foreland Basin reached 1,200 m/Ma during the neotectonic movement,leading to rapid maturing of source rock within 5 Ma and a large quantity of hydrocarbon being generated and expelled. The thick neotectonic strata can form high quality reservoirs with the proved gas and oil reserves accounting for 5% and 27% of the total reserves,respectively. 86% of the structural traps were formed in the neotectonic movement period. The faults formed during the neotectonic movement serve as important migration pathways and they exist in the region where the hydrocarbon reservoirs are distributed. Abnormally high pressure caused by the intense lateral compression,thick neotectonic strata deposition and rapid hydrocarbon generation provide driving force for hydrocarbon migration. | 4 | Determination of the local magnitudes of small earthquakes using a dense seismic array in the Changning-Zhaotong Shale Gas Field,Southern Sichuan Basin显示文摘With the development of unconventional shale gas in the southern Sichuan Basin,seismicity in the region has increased significantly in recent years.Though the existing sparse regional seismic stations can capture most earthquakes with ML≥2.5,a great number of smaller earthquakes are often omitted due to limited detection capacity.With the advent of portable seismic nodes,many dense arrays for monitoring seismicity in the unconventional oil and gas fields have been deployed,and the magnitudes of those earthquakes are key to understand the local fault reactivation and seismic potentials.However,the current national standard for determining the local magnitudes was not specifically designed for monitoring stations in close proximity,utilizing a calibration function with a minimal resolution of 5 km in the epicentral distance.That is,the current national standard tends to overestimate the local magnitudes for stations within short epicentral distances,and can result in discrepancies for dense arrays.In this study,we propose a new local magnitude formula which corrects the overestimated magnitudes for shorter distances,yielding accurate event magnitudes for small earthquakes in the Changning-Zhaotong shale gas field in the southern Sichuan Basin,monitored by dense seismic arrays in close proximity.The formula is used to determine the local magnitudes of 7,500 events monitored by a two-phased dense array with several hundred 5 Hz 3 C nodes deployed from the end of February 2019 to early May 2019 in the Changning-Zhaotong shale gas field.The magnitude of completeness(MC)using the dense array is-0.1,compared to MC 1.1 by the sparser Chinese Seismic Network(CSN).In addition,using a machine learning detection and picking procedure,we successfully identify and process some 14,000 earthquakes from the continuous waveforms,a ten-fold increase over the catalog recorded by CSN for the same period,and the MC is further reduced to-0.3 from-0.1 compared to the catalog obtained via manual processing using the same dense array.The proposed local magnitude formula can be adopted for calculating accurate local magnitudes of future earthquakes using dense arrays in the shale gas fields of the Sichuan Basin.This will help to better characterize the local seismic risks and potentials. | Wen Yang GuoYi Chen LingYuan Meng Yang Zang HaiJiang Zhang JunLun Li | 2021 | Earth and Planetary Physics2021,5,6: | 4 |
| 5 | Clinicopathological Analysis of 39 Patients with Corneal Tumors显示文摘Purpose:Corneal tumors are rarely seen in clinical practice.There is a paucity of data on the incidence of various corneal tumors,their clinical and pathological features and surgical management,especially on large patient samples.Methods:The medical records of 39 patients with corneal tumors referred to Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center,Sun Yat-sen University,China from January 1,1996 to December 31,2002 were reviewed retrospectively.Results:Of the 39 cases with corneal tumors,31 were males and 8 were females.The right eye was affected in 24 cases and the left one in 15 cases.The mean age at diagnosis was 45.7 years,ranged from 3 to 88 years.Squamous cell carcinoma was the most common tumor in the cornea(18 cases,46.15%),followed by pigmented naevus.(12 cases,30.77%),papillary epithelioma(3 cases,7.69%),melanoma(1 case,2.56%),oncosis hyperplasia(1 case,2.56%),inverting papilloma.(1 case,2.56%),primary acquired melanosis(1 case,2.56%),amyloid degeneration(1 case,2.56%),inflammatory pseudotumor(1 case,2.56%).They arose most commonly in the limbal region.All tumors were unilaterally involved.Squamous cell carcinoma of the cornea usually appears as a whitish,rough,irregular lesion or a telangiectatic,gelatinous epibulbar mass.Nevus in the cornea generally becomes clinically apparent in the first or second decade of life and the lesion may enlarge or more deeply pigmented afterwards.The corneal tumors were completely excised microsurgically in 22 cases.Six cases were treated with surgical resection combined with amniotic membrane graft.Three cases with surgical excision plus transfer of conjunctival flap.Two cases with surgical excision plus lamellar keratoplasty.Two cases with surgical excision plus cryosurgery.Two cases with orbital exenteration.One case with enuleation.One case with incision biopsy and observation.Conclusion:Squamous cell carcinoma and nevus,the most common corneal tumors,accounted for 76.92% of all cases.The therapeutic outcomes depended upon early pathologic diagnosis and early surgical management. | Jianhua Yan Haijiang Qiu Yongping Li | 2011 | Eye Science2011,26,3: | 3 |
