1rMVP: A Memory-efficient, Visualization-enhanced, and Parallel-accelerated Tool for Genome-wide Association Study显示文摘Along with the develoipment of high-throughput sequencing technologies,both sample size and SNP number are increasing rapidly in genome-wide association studies(GWAS),and the associated computation is more challenging than ever.Here,we present a memory-efficient,visualization-enhanced,and parallel-accelerated R package called“r MVP”to address the need for improved GWAS computation.r MVP can 1)effectively process large GWAS data,2)rapidly evaluate population structure,3)efficiently estimate variance components by Efficient Mixed-Model Association e Xpedited(EMMAX),Factored Spectrally Transformed Linear Mixed Models(Fa ST-LMM),and Haseman-Elston(HE)regression algorithms,4)implement parallel-accelerated association tests of markers using general linear model(GLM),mixed linear model(MLM),and fixed and random model circulating probability unification(Farm CPU)methods,5)compute fast with a globally efficient design in the GWAS processes,and 6)generate various visualizations of GWASrelated information.Accelerated by block matrix multiplication strategy and multiple threads,the association test methods embedded in r MVP are significantly faster than PLINK,GEMMA,and Farm CPU_pkg.r MVP is freely available at http://gffzz188fe103f8f1460asubwvbf5fnn0c6ucq.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/xiaolei-lab/r MVP.Lilin Yin Haohao Zhang Zhenshuang Tang Jingya Xu Dong Yin Zhiwu Zhang Xiaohui Yuan Mengjin Zhu Shuhong Zhao Xinyun Li Xiaolei Liu 2021Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,4:12

3Identity-based signature scheme based on quadratic residues显示文摘Identity-based(ID-based)cryptography has drawn great concerns in recent years,and most of ID-based schemes are constructed from bilinear parings.Therefore,ID-based scheme without pairing is of great interest in the field of cryptography.Up to now, there still remains a challenge to construct ID-based signature scheme from quadratic residues.Thus,we aim to meet this challenge by proposing a concrete scheme.In this paper,we first introduce the technique of how to calculate a 2lth root of a quadratic residue,and then give a concrete ID-based signature scheme using such technique. 4Changes in carbon dioxide emissions and LMDI-based impact factor decomposition: the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region as a case显示文摘Studies on carbon dioxide(CO2)emissions at provincial level can provide a scientific basis for the optimal use of energy and the formulation of CO2reduction policies.We studied the variation of CO2emissions of primary energy consumption and its influencing factors based on data in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region from1952 to 2008,which were calculated according to the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories.Xinjiang’s CO2emission process from 1952 to 2008 could be divided into five stages according to the growth rates of total amount of CO2emissions and CO2emission intensity.The impact factors were quantitatively analyzed using Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index(LMDI)method in each stage.Various factors,including government policies and technological progress related to the role of CO2emissions,were comprehensively analyzed,and the internal relationships among various factors were clarified.The results show that the contribution rates of various impact factors are different in each stage.Overall,economic growth and energy consumption intensity were the main driving factors for CO2emissions.Since the implementation of the birth control policy,the driving force of population growth on the increase in CO2emissions has slowly weakened.The energy consumption intensity was further affected by the industrial structure and energy consumption intensity of primary,secondary and tertiary industries,with the energy consumption intensity of the secondary industries and the proportion of secondary industries being the most important factors affecting the energy consumption intensity.Governmental policies and technological progress were also important factors that affected CO2emissions.Li ZHANG Jun LEI Xuan ZHOU XiaoLei ZHANG Wen DONG Yu YANG 2014Journal of Arid Land2014,6,2:6

7Alda-1 treatment promotes the therapeutic effect of mitochondrial transplantation for myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury显示文摘Mitochondrial damage is a critical driver in myocardial ischemia-reperfusion(I/R)injury and can be alleviated via the mitochondrial transplantation.The efficiency of mitochondrial transplantation is determined by mitochondrial vitality.Because aldehyde dehydrogenase 2(ALDH2)has a key role in regulating mitochondrial homeostasis,we aimed to investigate its potential therapeutic effects on mitochondrial transplantation via the use of ALDH2 activator,Alda-1.Our present study demonstrated that time-dependent internalization of exogenous mitochondria by cardiomyocytes along with ATP production were significantly increased in response to mitochondrial transplantation.Furthermore,Alda-1 treatment remarkably promoted the oxygen consumption rate and baseline mechanical function of cardiomyocytes caused by mitochondrial transplantation.Mitochondrial transplantation inhibited cardiomyocyte apoptosis induced by the hypoxia-reoxygenation exposure,independent of Alda-1 treatment.However,promotion of the mechanical function of cardiomyocytes exposed to hypoxia-reoxygenation treatment was only observed after mitochondrial Alda-1 treatment and transplantation.By using a myocardial I/R mouse model,our results revealed that transplantation of Alda-1-treated mitochondria into mouse myocardial tissues limited the infarction size after I/R injury,which was at least in part due to increased mitochondrial potential-mediated fusion.In conclusion,ALDH2 activation in mitochondrial transplantation shows great potential for the treatment of myocardial I/R injury.Xiaolei Sun Rifeng Gao Wenjia Li Yongchao Zhao Heng Yang Hang Chen Hao Jiang Zhen Dong Jingjing Hu Jin Liu Yunzeng Zou Aijun Sun Junbo Ge 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,7:5
8Spatial integration of oasis city group around the western margins of the Tarim Basin显示文摘In this paper,the oasis cities in Kashgar Prefecture and Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture are taken as an example,through the factor analysis,spatial attraction interaction model and location quotient methods,urban hierarchy system,the intensity of urban economic ties,economic subordination degree,and structure of city functions were analyzed. The results indicated:(1) The urban hierarchy system takes Kashgar city as the main center,Artux city,Yarkant county and Maralbexi county as the sub-centers; (2) The intensity of economic ties among Kashgar city and each county is much higher than others. The interaction of Kashgar city,Shufu county and Shule county are the strongest,and the economic ties of Yarkant,Kagilik,Poskam counties are relatively close; All cities in the study area are economically subordinate to Kashgar city. (3) Three cities of Kashgar city,Shufu county and Shule county should connect strongly,with Kashgar city as the core. The cities and towns along the Southern Xinjiang Railway and along National Road 315 should be regarded as two strips,and the two city strips along the border,and the city strip along Provincial Road 215 should be treated as three axes. The ring structure strategy of 'core ring,closer ring and radiated ring' was proposed. 9Mammography combined with breast dynamic contrast-enhanced-magnetic resonance imaging for the diagnosis of early breast cancer显示文摘Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the application of mammography combined with breast dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging(DCE-MRI) for the diagnosis of early breast cancer. Methods Mammography and DCE-MRI were performed for 120 patients with breast cancer(malignant, 102; benign; 18). Results The sensitivity of mammography for early diagnosis of breast cancer was 66.67%, specificity was 77.78%, and accuracy was 68.33%. The sensitivity of MRI for early diagnosis of breast cancer was 94.12%, specificity was 88.89%, and accuracy was 93.33%. However, the sensitivity of mammography combined with DCE-MRI volume imaging with enhanced water signal(VIEWS) scanning for early diagnosis of breast cancer was 97.06%, specificity was 94.44%, and accuracy was 96.67%. 13Deployment dynamics for flexible deployable primary mirror of space telescope with paraboloidal and laminated structure by using absolute node coordinate method显示文摘A nonlinear dynamic modeling method for primary mirror of Flower-like Deployable Space Telescope(F-DST)undergoing large deployment motion is proposed in this paper.To ensure pointing accuracy and attitude stability of the paraboloidal primary mirror,the mirror is discretized into equal thickness shell elements by considering shell curvature.And the material nonlinear constitutive relation of flexible mirror is acquired using Absolute Nodal Coordinate Formulation(ANCF).Furthermore,the primary mirror of F-DST can be regarded as a clustered multi-body system,and its dynamic equations of elastic deformation and deployment motion are established by virtual work principle.Finally,the deployment motion of primary mirror by different driving conditions are simulated,the results show that the vibrations of mirrors that driven by elastic hinge device are more than that driven by servo motor.In addition,single sub-mirror deployment process will perturb the pointing accuracy of primary mirror,and the multiple sub-mirrors simultaneously deploying will seriously affect all the sub-mirrors surface accuracy because of the coupling effect.Thus,there are theoretical value and practical significance for the controlling surface accuracy and attitude accuracy of space telescope.Bindi YOU Dong LIANG Xiangjie YU Xiaolei WEN 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,4:2

15Recent progress in the fabrication of SERS substrates based on the arrays of polystyrene nanospheres显示文摘Micro/nanostructures have broad applications in diverse application fields, such as surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS), photocatalysis, field emission, photonic crystals, microfluidic devices, electrochemical devices, etc. Using polystyrene (PS) spheres formed monolayer colloidal crystal templates as masks, scaffolds, or molds with different materials growth techniques, many different periodic nanostructured arrays can be obtained with the building units varied from nanoparticles, nanopores, nanorings, nanorods, to nanoshells. Significant progresses have been made on the synthesis of micro/nanostructures with efficient SERS response. 16Regional Structure and Spatial Morphology Characteristics of Oasis Urban Agglomeration in Arid Area——A Case of Urban Agglomeration in Northern Slope of Tianshan Mountains,Northwest China显示文摘It is great important to the health development of urban agglomeration to correctly understand the formation and development law of regional structure of urban agglomeration.Employing the analysis methods like fractal theory and quantitative statistics,coupling with the use of remote sensing images and other spatial data,this article discusses the urban agglomeration of oasis on the northern slope of the Tianshan Mountains in an arid area,and conducts the researches on its city scale,spatial distribution and individual form from 1990 to 2005.The result shows that it has loose hierarchical scale structure and polarization trend of population distribution while its hierarchical scale structure tends to mature.Under the influence of natural conditions,the spatial layout of urban agglomeration of oasis has macro characteristics that suggest cities distributed along oasis edges(dense or sparse),spatially expand along rivers,and cluster around traffic branches.The connectivity among the cities is high and shows an internal organization form of a banding distribution.The whole spatial shape of the internal structure of cities presents a 'dumbbell' form,with mononuclear phenomenon receding and multi-nuclear appearing gradually.Individual cities spatially expand along rivers,portraying a long strip appearance.It indicates that the urban agglomeration of oasis shows regular and close structure but with a tendency to be complicated form and the loose structure.In the development of urban agglomeration,the authors recommend that the development of the city with good economic development conditions should be strengthened,and more attention be put into regional planning.ZHANG Yufang YANG Degang ZHANG Xinhuan DONG Wen ZHANG Xiaolei 2009Chinese Geographical Science2009,19,4:2
17Privacy-preserving large-scale systems of linear equations in outsourcing storage and computation显示文摘Along with the prevalence of cloud computing, it can be realised to efficiently outsource costly storage or computations to cloud servers. Recently, secure outsourcing mechanism has received more and more attention. We focus on secure outsourcing storage and computation for large-scale systems of linear equations(LEs) in this paper. Firstly, we construct a new efficient matrix encryption scheme. Then we exploit this encryption scheme to develop a new algorithm which can implement outsourcing storage and computation for large-scale linear equations in the semi-honest setting. 20A joint call for actions to advance taxonomy in China显示文摘Taxonomy plays an important role in understanding the origin, evolution, and ecological functionality of biodiversity. There are large number of unknown species yet to be described by taxonomists, which together with their ecosystem services cannot be effectively protected prior to description. Despite this, taxonomy has been increasingly underrated insufficient funds and permanent positions to retain young talents. Further, the impact factordriven evaluation systems in China exacerbate this downward trend, so alternative evaluation metrics are urgently necessary. When the current generation of outstanding taxonomists retires,there will be too few remaining taxonomists left to train the next generation.
