| 1 | Short and long-term efficacy of combining Fuzhengliqi mixture with acupuncture in treatment of functional constipation显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To explore the short and long-term efficacy of combining Fuzhengliqi mixture (FLM) with acupuncture in treating functional constipation (FC). METHODS: The 560 patients with confirmed diagnosis of FC were randomly assigned to four groups: FLM group, acupuncture group, combined therapy group, and control group. There were 140 cases in each group. The FLM group was administered FLM 60 mL twice a day, while the acupuncture group was treated with acupuncture at acupoints Tianshu (ST 25), Shangjuxu (ST 37), Zusanli (ST 36), Dachangshu (BL 25), and Zhigou (TE 6) twice a day, the combined therapy group with FLM and acupuncture, and the control group was administered mosapride (5 mg thrice a day) and Macrogol 4000 (10 g twice a day). The treatment lasted 6 weeks. The defecation interval, stool property, constipation symptoms, and accompanying symptomswere recorded, graded, and scored.The gastrointestinal transit time (GITT) and motilin (MTL) level in serum and life quality score were detected at three time points (pre-treatment, at the end of treatment, and 60 weeks post-treatment). Moreover, the adverse reactions were also observed. RESULTS: In the FLM group 2 cases were eliminated for not taking medication strictly according to the research plan and 1 case was lost to follow-up, while 2 cases in the acupuncture group and 2 cases in the combined therapy group were lost to follow-up. Compared with those detected pre-treat- ment, the defecation interval, stool property, consti- pation symptom grade, accompanying symptom grade, and GITT were all decreased markedly at the end of treatment in every group, while the MTL levels in serum and life quality score were increased markedly (P<0.01), the above-mentioned detecting indices were better in the combined therapy group than those in other groups (P<0.05). Compared with the end of treatment, above-mentioned detecting indices all recurred significantly in the FLM group and control group 60 weeks post-treatment (P>0.05), but these indices recurred insignificantly in the acupuncture and combined therapy groups (P>0.05). The short and long-term total effective rates in the combined therapy group were significantly different from those in other groups (P<0.05 or P<0.01). No serious adverse reactions were found in four groups. CONCLUSION: Both FLM and acupuncture can significantly shorten the defecation interval and GITT, increase MTL levels in serum, decrease the scores of stool property, constipation symptoms, and accompanying symptoms in patients with FC to increase their life quality. | 2 | Visceral Fat Area,Waist Circumference and Metabolic Risk Factors in Abdominally Obese Chinese Adults显示文摘Objective To examine the association of visceral adiposity as measured by VFA and WC with lipid and glucose metabolic biomarkers in abdominally obese Chinese adults,and to assess whether WC could be an indicator of visceral fat.Methods WC and VFA were measured in 155 overweight and obese adults.A fasting blood sample was collected from participant(n=118) whose VFA ≥100 cm2 for analyses of lipid and glucose profile.The relationship between VFA and WC and biomarkers was investigated.Results WC and VFA were significantly interrelated.The coincidence rate of abdominal obesity determined by Japanese VFA and Chinese WC criteria increased across age quartiles in women from 51.7% to 96.2%.A large WC was associated significantly with low HDL-cholesterol concentration(P<0.01) and the association was weakened by additional control of VFA.WC and VFA were positively associated with glucose,hemoglobin A1c and insulin concentrations(P<0.05 except for the association of VFA with insulin:P<0.01),and all the associations were not significant by additional control of either WC or VFA.As WC quartiles increased,significant stepwise increments in triglyceride,glucose,hemoglobin A1c and insulin and descent in HDL-cholesterol were observed.However,triglyceride and HDL-cholesterol were not significantly different when compared across VFA quartiles.Conclusion Higher visceral fat was associated with an adverse lipid and glucose profile.WC can be a moderate predictor for visceral fat and provides a feasible measurement to estimate glucose metabolic risks.Further studies are warranted to establish age-specific WC cutoffs. | LI Xu KATASHIMA Mitsuhiro YASUMASU Takeshi LIKe Ji | 2012 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2012,25,2: | 8 |
| 3 | Clinical curative effect of electroacupuncture combined with Zhizhukuanzhong Capsules for treating gastroesophageal reflux disease显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To study the clinical curative effect,safety and mechanism of action of electroacupuncture combined with Zhizhukuanzhong capsules(ZZKZC) in treating gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD).METHODS:A total of 480 patients with confirmed GERD were randomly divided into four groups:the electroacupuncture group,the ZZKZC group,the combined therapy group,and the control group,with 120 cases in each group.Each case in the electroacupuncture group was treated with electroacupuncture on Zusanli(ST36),Zhongwan(CV12),Neiguan(PC6),Taichong(LR3)and Gongsun(SP 4)once daily for 6 weeks.Each case in the ZZKZC group was treated with oral administration of 1.29 g ZZKZC three times daily.The combined therapy group had electroacupuncture and ZZKZC.The control group was given oral administration of 5 mg mosapride three times and 20 mg pantoprazole twice daily.The 24-hour intraesophageal total number of reflux episodes with pH <4(or bilirubin absorbance ≥ 0.14),the number of long-term(≥5 min) reflux episodes,the percentage of upright time,the percentage of supine time,the percentage of total time of pH <4(or bilirubin absorbance ≥0.14),endoscopic grading score,symptom score,quality of life score,and adverse reactions were observed before treatment,at the end of treatment and 54 weeks after treatment in the four groups.RESULTS:The 24-hour intraesophageal pH and bile reflux,endoscopic grading score and symptom score were all significantly decreased at the end of treatment in every group,while the scores of 8 dimensions of quality of life were all increased compared with those before treatment(P<0.01).All of these indices were better in the combined therapy group than those in the other groups(P<0.05).These indices did not significantly deteriorate in the combined therapy group and electroacupuncture group 54 weeks after treatment compared with the end of treatment(P>0.05);however,these indices all significantly deteriorated in the ZZKZC and control groups(P>0.05).The short and long-term total efficacy rates in the combined therapy group showed significant superiority to those in the other groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01).No serious adverse reactions were found in the four groups.CONCLUSION:Electroacupuncture and ZZKZC play an important role in inhibiting intraesophageal acid and bile reflux,decreasing the endoscopic grading score,and alleviating the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux to improve the quality of life.However,the effect of combined treatment is more effective,with better security and long-term efficacy,and therefore,this combination treatment is appropriate for clinicaluse. | Chaoxian Zhang Like Guo Xiaofeng Guo Xiaohe Guo Guangyan Li | 2012 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012,32,3: | 8 |

| 13 | Improving aircraft aerodynamic performance with bionic wing obtained by ice shape modulation显示文摘For Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)with limited electrical power to achieve effectively anti-/de-icing at the leading edge of the wing,a strategy of ice shape modulation was proposed.Isolated simulated ice shape pieces printed by 3D printing technology are mounted on a NACA0012 finite wing model,and its lift/drag coefficients and suction-side velocity fields are measured by the six-component force balance and the Particle Imaging Velocimetry(PIV),respectively.The ratio of the spanwise length of a single ice shape piece to chord length and the spanwise length of the non-icing area between the two adjacent single ice shape pieces are defined as dimensionless ice shape length(w/c)and dimensionless modulation ratio(w/λ),respectively.The results indicate that for a fixed w/λ,the wing lift coefficient first increases and then drops with increasing w/c,and a peak value exists when w/c is between 0.1 and 0.2.The lower the w/λis,the higher the wing lift coefficient will be.The periodical variation of the flow separation area along the spanwise direction is attributed on the one hand to the acceleration effect of the flow field in the non-icing area which reduces the separation area,and on the other hand to the cross-flow caused by the streamwise vortices from the non-icing area to the icing area which promotes the mixing of the flow field(similar to vortex generators).The obtained modulation law is verified through flight tests and provides guidance for the use of ice shape modulation scheme for UAVs that cannot be completely anti-/deicing under severe weather conditions. | Like XIE Hua LIANG Haohua ZONG Yun WU Yinghong LI Zhi SU Xuecheng LIU | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,2: | 1 |
| 14 | Minimizing airfoil drag at low angles of attack with DBD-based turbulent drag reduction methods显示文摘Dielectric Barrier Discharge(DBD)based turbulent drag reduction methods are used to reduce the total drag on a NACA 0012 airfoil at low angels of attack.The interaction of DBD with turbulent boundary layer was investigated,based on which the drag reduction experiments were conducted.The results show that unidirectional steady discharge is more effective than oscillating discharge in terms of drag reduction,while steady impinging discharge fails to finish the mission(i.e.drag increase).In the best scenario,a maximum relative drag reduction as high as 64%is achieved at the freestream velocity of 5 m/s,and a drag reduction of 13.7%keeps existing at the freestream velocity of 20 m/s.For unidirectional discharge,the jet velocity ratio and the dimensionless actuator spacing are the two key parameters affecting the effectiveness.The drag reduction magnitude varies inversely with the dimensionless spacing,and a threshold value of the dimensionless actuator spac-ing of 540(approximately five times of the low-speed streak spacing)exists,above which the drag increases.When the jet velocity ratio smaller than 0.05,marginal drag variation is observed.In con-trast,when the jet velocity ratio larger than 0.05,the experimental data bifurcates,one into the drag increase zone and the other into the drag reduction zone,depending on the value of dimensionless actuator spacing.In both zones,the drag variation magnitude increases with the jet velocity ratio.The total drag reduction can be divided into the reduction in pressure drag and turbulent friction drag,as well as the increase in friction drag brought by transition promotion.The reduction in tur-bulent friction drag plays an important role in the total drag reduction. | Zhi SU Haohua ZONG Hua LIANG Jun LI Like XIE Xuecheng LIU Weiliang KONG Borui ZHENG | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,4: | 1 |
| 15 | Reconstruction and petroleum geological significance of lithofacies paleogeography and paleokarst geomorphology of the Middle Permian Maokou Formation in northwestern Sichuan Basin,SW China显示文摘Based on analysis of outcrop,drilling,logging and seismic data,and geotectonic background,the lithofacies paleogeography and paleokarst geomorphology of the Middle Permian Maokou Formation in the northwestern Sichuan Basin were reconstructed,and the petroleum geological significance of the lithofacies paleogeography and paleokarst geomorphology were discussed.The Maokou Formation is divided into 3 long-term cycles,namely LSCl,LSC2 and LSC3,which correspond to the Member 1,Member 2 and Member 3 of the Maokou Formation,respectively.Controlled by the extensional structure caused by opening of the Mianlue Ocean in the north margin of the upper Yangtze blocks and basement faults produced by mantle plume uplifting,the area had tectonic differentiation in NWW and NE,and sedimentary basement took on episodic settlement from north to south,as a result,the sedimentary systems of Member 1 to Member 3 gradually evolved from carbonate platform to platform-slope-continental shelf.According to the residual thickness,paleokarst geomorphologic units such as karst highland,karst slope and karst depression at different stages were reconstructed.The karst geomorphological units were developed successively on the basis of sedimentary geomorphology.Sedimentary facies and paleokarst geomorphology are of great significance for oil and gas accumulation.The Maokou Formation in northwestern Sichuan has two kinds of most favorable reservoir zone combinations:high energy grain shoal and karst monadnock,platform margin slope and karst slope.Based on this understanding,the planar distribution of the two kinds of reservoir zones were predicted by overlapping the favorable reservoir facies belt with paleokarst geomorphology.The study results provide a new idea and reference for the exploration deployment of the Middle Permian Maokou Formation in the Sichuan Basin. | ZHONG Yuan YANG Yueming WEN Long LUO Bing XIAO Di LI Minglong CHEN Cong ZHAO Like LU Feifan TAN Xiucheng | 2021 | Petroleum Exploration and Development2021,48,1: | 1 |

| 18 | The allosteric modulation effects of doxycycline, minocycline, and their derivatives on the neuropeptide receptor PAC1-R显示文摘Class B G-protein coupled receptors (GPCR) PAC1-R is a neuropeptide pituitary adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide(PACAP)-preferring receptor that mediates the effective neuroprotective activity.Based on our previous data showing that doxycycline and minocycline work as the positive allosteric modulator (PAM) of RAC1-R,we used computer molecular docking and isothermal titration calorimetry assay to further determine the bindings of doxycycline/minocycline's derivatives including tetracycline/tigecycline with the N-terminal extracellular domain of PAC1-R (PAC1-EC1).Then the cAMP assay combined with the PAC1-R natural agonist PACAP27 was used to confirm the possible PAM roles of the small-molecule antibiotics. The results showed that tetracycline/tigecycline had significant lower affinity to PAC1-EC1 than doxycycline/minocycline, which was con sistent with their no n-positive allosteric modulation activity on PAC1-R.Furthermore, by comparing the key residues contributing to the PAM binding with the predicted allosteric site in PAC1-EC1,we characterized four motifs contributing to PAM binding in PAC1-EC1.The site-directed mutation results showed that ASN60 played the most important role in the PAM binding of the small-molecule antibiotics, while ASP116 played a sensitive marginal role in the PAM binding.These results not only help to explain the clinical and experimental neuroprotective effects of doxycycline/minocycline, but also help to characterize the PAM binding site in PAC1-EC1,which will promote the screening and characterization of novel small-molecule PAMs targeting PAC1-EC1 with drug development potency in nerve system disease. | Suqin Song Like Wang Junfeng Li Xiaoling Huang Rongjie Yu | 2019 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,6: | 1 |
| 19 | Natural gas geology and exploration direction of the Cambrian Lower Canglangpu Member in central Sichuan paleo-uplift,Sichuan Basin,SW China显示文摘Based on drilling data of JT1 and CS1,outcrop profiles and seismic data,the sedimentary pattern,space configuration of source-reservoir-cap combinations and paleouplift evolution characteristics of the Cambrian Lower Canglangpu Member in the central Sichuan paleouplift have been investigated to determine the favorable exploration zones.Controlled by Deyang-Anyue rift,the Lower Canglangpu Member features differential characteristics from east to west in sedimentary framework.In the west side of the Deyang-Anyue rift,this member is composed of clastic sediments,while in the east side of the Deyang-Anyue rift,it is fresh water shelf sediments,with grain beaches occurring along edges of the depressions,shelf and lagoon.Among the beaches,the dolomitic ones are mainly distributed around the depression edge and in the north of the lagoon.The beach sediments could become high quality reservoirs under the effect of karstification.Underlying the Lower Canglangpu Member is the widespread source rock of the Qiongzhusi Formation,so oil and gas generated by the Qiongzhusi Formation source rock can directly charge into the beach reservoirs.The sandy mudstone of the Upper Canglangpu Member can serve as the caprock of the Lower Canglangpu Member reservoir.The dolomitic beaches are located at the higher part of the paleo-uplift during the main accumulation period,with good hydrocarbon accumulation elements.Blocks PT1-CS1,HT1-GT2 and east GT2 are favorable exploration zones. | YAN Wei LUO Bing ZHOU Gang CHEN Youlian ZHONG Yuan LI Kunyu ZHOU Hongfei ZHAO Like HE Yuan | 2021 | Petroleum Exploration and Development2021,48,2: | 1 |
| 20 | The advantages of penehyclidine hydrochloride over atropine in acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning:A meta-analysis显示文摘Background:Penehyclidine hydrochloride(PHC)has been used for many years as an anticholinergic drug for the treatment of acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning(AOPP).The purpose of this meta-analysis was to explore whether PHC has advantages over atropine in the use of anticholinergic drugs in AOPP.Methods:We searched Scopus,Embase,Cochrane,PubMed,ProQuest,Ovid,Web of Science,China Science and Technology Journal Database(VIP),Duxiu,Chinese Biomedical literature(CBM),WanFang,and Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),from inception to March 2022.After all qualified randomized controlled trials(RCTs)were included,we conducted quality evaluation,data extraction,and statistical analysis.Statistics using risk ratios(RR),weighted mean difference(WMD),and standard mean difference(SMD).Results:Our meta-analysis included 20,797 subjects from 240 studies across 242 different hospitals in China.Compared with the atropine group,the PHC group showed decreased mortality rate(RR=0.20,95%confidence intervals[CI]:0.16–0.25,P<0.001),hospitalization time(WMD=-3.89,95%CI:-4.37 to-3.41,P<0.001),overall incidence rate of complications(RR=0.35,95%CI:0.28–0.43,P<0.001),overall incidence of adverse reactions(RR=0.19,95%CI:0.17–0.22,P<0.001),total symptom disappearance time(SMD=-2.13,95%CI:-2.35 to-1.90,P<0.001),time for cholinesterase activity to return to normal value 50–60%(SMD=-1.87,95%CI:-2.03 to-1.70,P<0.001),coma time(WMD=-5.57,95%CI:-7.20 to-3.95,P<0.001),and mechanical ventilation time(WMD=-2.16,95%CI:-2.79 to-1.53,P<0.001).Conclusion:PHC has several advantages over atropine as an anticholinergic drug in AOPP. | Siyao Zeng Lei Ma Lishan Yang Xiaodong Hu Cheng Wang Xinxin Guo Yi Li Yi Gou Yao Zhang Shengming Li Shaotong Zhang Xiaoxuan Wu Meihong Li Jing Lei Bingqian Li Chengfei Bi Like Ma Qingpeng Luo | 2023 | Journal of Intensive Medicine2023,3,2: | 0 |
