1Benzoate anions-intercalated NiFe-layered double hydroxide nanosheet array with enhanced stability for electrochemical seawater oxidation显示文摘Seawater electrolysis is an extremely attractive approach for harvesting clean hydrogen energy,but detrimental chlorine species(i.e.,chloride and hypochlorite)cause severe corrosion at the anode.Here,we report our recent finding that benzoate anions-intercalated NiFe-layered double hydroxide nanosheet on carbon cloth(BZ-NiFe-LDH/CC)behaves as a highly efficient and durable monolithic catalyst for alkaline seawater oxidation,affords enlarged interlayer spacing of LDH,inhibits chlorine(electro)chemistry,and alleviates local pH drop of the electrode.It only needs an overpotential of 320 mV to reach a current density of 500 mA·cm^(−2)in 1 M KOH.In contrast to the fast activity decay of NiFe-LDH/CC counterpart during long-term electrolysis,BZ-NiFe-LDH/CC achieves stable 100-h electrolysis at an industrial-level current density of 500 mA·cm^(−2)in alkaline seawater.Operando Raman spectroscopy studies further identify structural changes of disorderedδ(NiIII-O)during the seawater oxidation process.Longcheng Zhang Jie Liang Luchao Yue Kai Dong Jun Li Donglin Zhao Zerong Li Shengjun Sun Yongsong Luo Qian Liu Guanwei Cui Abdulmohsen Ali Alshehri Xiaodong Guo Xuping Sun 2022Nano Research Energy2022,1,3:6
2The combined therapeutic effects of ^(131)iodinelabeled multifunctional copper sulfide-loaded microspheres in treating breast cancer显示文摘Compared to conventional cancer treatment, combination therapy based on well-designed nanoscale platforms may offer an opportunity to eliminate tumors and reduce recurrence and metastasis.In this study, we prepared multifunctional microspheres loading ^(131)I-labeled hollow copper sulfide nanoparticles and paclitaxel( ^(131)I-HCu SNPs-MS-PTX) for imaging and therapeutics of W256/B breast tumors in rats.18 F-fluordeoxyglucose(18 F-FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography(PET/CT) imaging detected that the expansion of the tumor volume was delayed(Po0.05) following intra-tumoral(i.t.) injection with ^(131)I-HCu SNPs-MS-PTX plus near-infrared(NIR) irradiation. The immunohistochemical analysis further confirmed the anti-tumor effect. The single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT)/photoacoustic imaging mediated by ^(131)I-HCu SNPs-MS-PTX demonstrated that microspheres were mainly distributed in the tumors with a relatively low distribution in other organs. Our results revealed that ^(131)I-HCu SNPs-MS-PTX offered combined photothermal, chemo-and radio-therapies, eliminating tumors at a relatively low dose, as well as allowing SPECT/CT and photoacoustic imaging monitoring of distribution of the injected agents non-invasively. 5Three-Dimensional sp^(2) Carbon-Linked Covalent Organic Frameworks as a Drug Carrier Combined with Fluorescence Imaging显示文摘Three-dimensional(3D)covalent organic frameworks(COFs)are crystalline porous polymers with potential in numerous high-tech applications,but the linkages involved in their synthesis are still rather limited.Herein,we report novel 3D sp^(2) carbon-linked COFs fabricated by the formation reaction of C=C bonds and their application in fluorescence imaging.These new COFs,namely JUC-580 and JUC-581,show high stability and excellent light-emitting properties in solid state and dispersed in various solvents.Furthermore,we investigate the potential application of JUC-581 as a drug carrier combined with fluorescence imaging.These results indicate that 3D sp^(2) carbon-linked COFs are not only potential drug-loaded and sustained release materials but also promising cell fluorescent stains.This study thus expands the structural categories of 3D COFs based on different linkages,and promotes their prospective applications for biomedicine and fluorescent materials.Li Liao Zerong Zhang Xinyu Guan Hui Li Yaozu Liu Minghao Zhang Bin Tang Valentin Valtchev Yushan Yan Shilun Qiu Xiangdong Yao Qianrong Fang 2022Chinese Journal of Chemistry2022,40,17:1
6Adaptive watermark generation mechanism based on time series prediction for stream processing显示文摘The data stream processing framework processes the stream data based on event-time to ensure that the request can be responded to in real-time.In reality,streaming data usually arrives out-of-order due to factors such as network delay.The data stream processing framework commonly adopts the watermark mechanism to address the data disorderedness.Watermark is a special kind of data inserted into the data stream with a timestamp,which helps the framework to decide whether the data received is late and thus be discarded.Traditional watermark generation strategies are periodic;they cannot dynamically adjust the watermark distribution to balance the responsiveness and accuracy.This paper proposes an adaptive watermark generation mechanism based on the time series prediction model to address the above limitation.This mechanism dynamically adjusts the frequency and timing of watermark distribution using the disordered data ratio and other lateness properties of the data stream to improve the system responsiveness while ensuring acceptable result accuracy.We implement the proposed mechanism on top of Flink and evaluate it with realworld datasets.The experiment results show that our mechanism is superior to the existing watermark distribution strategies in terms of both system responsiveness and result accuracy.Yang SONG Yunchun LI Hailong YANG Jun XU Zerong LUAN Wei LI 2021Frontiers of Computer Science2021,15,6:0

9CeO_(2) nanoparticles with oxygen vacancies decorated N-doped carbon nanorods:A highly efficient catalyst for nitrate electroreduction to ammonia显示文摘Electrocatalytic nitrate reduction reaction(NO_(3)−RR)emerges as a highly efficient approach toward ammonia synthesis and degrading NO_(3)−contaminant.In our study,CeO_(2) nanoparticles with oxygen vacancies(VO)decorated N-doped carbon nanorods on graphite paper(CeO_(2)−x@NC/GP)were demonstrated as a highly efficient NO_(3)−RR electrocatalyst.The CeO_(2)−x@NC/GP catalyst manifests a significant NH_(3 )yield up to 712.75μmol·h^(−1)·cm^(−2) at−0.8 V vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)and remarkable Faradaic efficiency of 92.93%at−0.5 V vs.RHE under alkaline conditions,with excellent durability.Additionally,an assembled Zn-NO_(3)−battery with CeO_(2)−x@NC/GP as cathode accomplishes a high-power density of 3.44 mW·cm^(−2) and a large NH3 yield of 145.08μmol·h^(−1)·cm^(−2).Density functional theory results further expose the NO_(3)−reduction mechanism on CeO_(2)(111)surface with VO.Zerong Li Zhiqin Deng Ling Ouyang Xiaoya Fan Longcheng Zhang Shengjun Sun Qian Liu Abdulmohsen Ali Alshehri Yonglan Luo Qingquan Kong Xuping Sun 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:0
10Absolute bioavailability,dose proportionality,and tissue distribution of rotundic acid in rats based on validated LC-QqQ-MS/MS method显示文摘Rotundic acid(RA),an ursane-type pentacyclic triterpene acid isolated from the dried barks of Ilex rotunda Thunb.(Aquifoliaceae),possesses diverse bioactivities.To further study its pharmacokinetics,a simple and sensitive liquid chromatography with triple quadrupole mass spectrometry(LC-QqQ-MS/MS)method was developed and validated to quantify RA concentration in rat plasma and tissue using etofesalamide as an internal standard(IS).Plasma and tissue samples were subjected to one-step protein precipitation.Chromatographic separation was achieved on a ZORBAX Eclipse XDB-C_(18) column(4.6mm×50mm,5μm)under gradient conditions with eluents of methanol:acetonitrile(1:1,V/V)and 5mM ammonium formate:methanol(9:1,V/V)at 0.5mL/min.Multiple reaction monitoring transitions were performed at m/z 487.30→437.30 for RA and m/z 256.10→227.10 for IS in the negative mode.The developed LC-QqQ-MS/MS method exhibited good linearity(2-500 ng/mL)and was fully validated in accordance with U.S.Food and Drug Administration bioanalytical guidelines.Dose proportionality and bioavailability in rats were determined by comparing pharmacokinetic data after single oral(10,20,and 40mg/kg)and intravenous(10mg/kg)administration of RA.Tissue distribution was studied following oral administration at 20mg/kg.The results showed that the absolute bioavailability of RA after administration at different doses ranged from 16.1%to 19.4%.RA showed good dose proportionality over a dose range of 10-40 mg/kg.RA was rapidly absorbed in a dose-dependent manner and highly distributed in the liver.In conclusion,this study is the first to systematically elucidate the absorption and distribution characteristics of RA in rats,which can provide additional information for further development and evaluation of RA in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic studies.Haihua Shang Xiaohan Dai Mi Li Yueyi Kai Zerong Liu Min Wang Quansheng Li Yuan Gu Changxiao Liu Duanyun Si 2022Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2022,12,2:0
11GIGANTEA orthologs,E2 members,redundantly determine photoperiodic flowering and yield in soybean显示文摘Soybean(Glycine max L.)is a typical photoperiodsensitive crop,such that photoperiod determines its flowering time,maturity,grain yield,and phenological adaptability.During evolution,the soybean genome has undergone two duplication events,resulting in about 75%of all genes being represented by multiple copies,which is associated with rampant gene redundancy.Among duplicated genes,the important soybean maturity gene E2 has two homologs,E2-Like a(E2La)and E2-Like b(E2Lb),which encode orthologs of Arabidopsis GIGANTEA(GI).Although E2 was cloned a decade ago,we still know very little about its contribution to flowering time and even less about the function of its homologs.Here,we generated single and double mutants in E2,E2La,and E2Lb by genome editing and determined that E2 plays major roles in the regulation of flowering time and yield,with the two E2 homologs depending on E2 function.At high latitude regions,e2 single mutants showed earlier flowering and high grain yield.Remarkably,in terms of genetic relationship,genes from the legume-specific transcription factor family E1 were epistatic to E2.We established that E2 and E2-like proteins form homodimers or heterodimers to regulate the transcription of E1 family genes,with the homodimer exerting a greater function than the heterodimers.In addition,we established that the H3 haplotype of E2 is the ancestral allele and is mainly restricted to low latitude regions,from which the loss-of-function alleles of the H1 and H2haplotypes were derived.Furthermore,we demonstrated that the function of the H3 allele is stronger than that of the H1 haplotype in the regulation of flowering time,which has not been shown before.Our findings provide excellent allelic combinations for classical breeding and targeted gene disruption or editing.Lingshuang Wang Haiyang Li Milan He Lidong Dong Zerong Huang Liyu Chen Haiyang Nan Fanjiang Kong Baohui Liu Xiaohui Zhao 2023Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,1:0
12Ribonucleotide reductase M2 (RRM2): Regulation, function and targeting strategy in human cancer显示文摘Ribonucleotide reductase M2(RRM2)is a small subunit in ribonucleotide reduc-tases,which participate in nucleotide metabolism and catalyze the conversion of nucleotides to deoxynucleotides,maintaining the dNTP pools for DNA biosynthesis,repair,and replication.RRM2 performs a critical role in the malignant biological behaviors of cancers.The structure,regulation,and function of RRM2 and its inhibitors were discussed.RRM2 gene can produce two transcripts encoding the same ORF.RRM2 expression is regulated at multiple levels during the processes from transcription to translation.Moreover,this gene is associated with resistance,regulated cell death,and tumor immunity.In order to develop and design inhibitors of RRM2,appropriate strategies can be adopted based on different mechanisms.Thus,a greater appreciation of the characteristics of RRM2 is a benefit for understanding tumorigenesis,resistance in cancer,and tumor microenvironment.Moreover,RRM2-targeted therapy will be more attention in future therapeutic approaches for enhancement of treatment effects and amelioration of the dismal prognosis.Zanwen Zuo Zerong Zhou Yuzhou Chang Yan Liu Yuping Shen Qizhang Li Lei Zhang 2024Genes & Diseases2024,11,1:0
